The Clam Bar Review - The Hamptons - New York - The Infatuation

"Just a bit down the road from the OG Lunch, you’ll find Clam Bar. The menu is similar, and while we love the lobster salad roll here too, we like to come to Clam Bar for everything else—oysters, clams, and even whole lobsters. The all-outdoor setting is the perfect place to eat before or after you hit the beach, and they even have a solid wine and beer list." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

I had the Seafood Alfredo and the fried oyster strips. The scallops in the Alfredo were huge and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try the desert menu badly, but the two dishes I tried left me too full to take on anything else. The atmosphere was very lively, as it seems like regulars come to the bar to meet and chat. That or this place attracts some of the friendliest people. Either way, it provided for an enjoyable sit-in dining experience. I'll be back to try the stuffed and casino and to hopefully take a shoot at the desert menu.

This was my first time and experience at the Clan Bar. The food was awesome, the waitress was awesome, the price was deep too, but not too bad. The ribeye steak, salmon, fried clams & scallops & shrimp was great🤌🏾. We also had drinks that were very reasonable. I will probably be back next week🤗.

We love this restaurant! Seafood is awesome...always get the steamers! Service is wonderful too!! Stopped here again!! Had the freshest steamers (clams) . The antipasti salad is huge and delicious! The buttercrumb haddock was very tasty. The broiled scallops..to die for! The shrimp scampi was very good too. Katie was an awesome server. Thx Clam Bar!@

I visited this place a few times in 2020 and never left a review. Since I’m in the area I decided to give them another visit, I remember the food being pretty good. It’s still as good as it was 3 years ago. Ordered a sandwich from the special menu and it didn’t disappoint, it was as good as it looks. Chipotle Lime Fried Chicken topped with cheddar, pineapple salsa and a chipotle-lime aioli

I had the Clam Bar Golden Combo (fried haddock, sea scallops, shrimp, and clam strips. It's not the best. It's not bad either. I smell cooking oil recycled multiple times.

The snow crab was amazing! Great stop after IBU brewing. Skip the "specials" if they are complex they might not be cooked properly. Make sure to ask for the house bread. The "loaf" as they call it has a tasty garlic butter that's also nice to slather on you pasta or potatoes ;)

Amazing service, but food was just ok. Our waitress Kim was very attentive, friendly, and fast. The food was ok. Got the "Broiler Platter" because it had haddock/shrimp/scallops/clams, but unfortunately the only item with flavour was the scallops. Everything else was flavorless... Maybe I should've stuck with the "The Clam Bar Golden Combo". I also tried the clam chowder and that was good, but not the best I've had. The warm Italian bread with garlic butter, and the fries were the best part of the meal. I was really excited to try The Clam Bar, but not sure I'll be back when we're in town.

Always a great stop if you like seafood. However, menu has quite a bit more choices since our last visit. Pasta choices plentiful. Went with haddock sandwich and onion rings. Took home enough for lunch the next day.
