We had seafood gumbo (one and only main course in the menu !) and Cajun fries. The gumbo was £24. It was tasty, but we both felt hungry afterward! The portion was small for the price and not a whole lot of seafood. Just bits of frozen shrimp and squids and tiny veg with rice. Plus we waited 45 mins for our food, far too slow. The live salsa performance was great. I would come back for the music but skip the food.

Took my mum here for Saturday lunch and it was brilliant! The Front Desk Reception staff, (I’ve forgotten his name 😞) was fantastic and although we had to move tables, he was extremely considerate and helpful. The food was great, but the green plaintain was a bit too dry for my taste. The chicken with the sauce dip was delicious. The live music was a joy to listen to and the atmosphere was 10/10. The only snag was the intermittent power cuts due to surrounding building works, but everyone used this to create a cheerful atmosphere and the musicians really put in the work to keep us thoroughly entertained! Loved it!

Great place, the only annoying thing is that you have to pay straight away at the table once you order something. If you have table service then you should be able to pay at the end. Anyways, food was delicious and so were the drinks! Good cocktails and they have happy hour until 7pm (cocktails only). Ambiance is nice, and the rooftop is beautiful. I recommend!

Cool space. Fun evening. Great music! We went for an event Saturday evening. Paid £5 for entry to the salsa event. We were moved downstairs by 6 pm as they do a second event. We didn’t know this when we paid the entry but in the end it was fine, I really liked the downstairs area as well. It was nice to experience both. The margarita was ok and I also got an interesting honey cider. Overall I would go back.

Food is always on point. Drinks are well priced, strong and flavoursome. The music is what sometimes lets down the night. It's like they sometimes don't, or can't, read the room and play some music that doesn't want to make anyone get up and dance. Always book in advance. The rooftop is where it's at 🕺🕺🕺

An elegant and fun venue, the layout and decor never fails to impress. It has downstairs rooms and a rooftop, which in winter is covered to keep the warmth in - there are also lots of floor heaters - despite this it still can be a bit chilly there in winter so I recommend bringing a coat. There is often live music, sometimes on a stage on the rooftop, for our visit the live music was inside, the inside area is cozy and nicely lit so a perfect place for a date. The food is currently by an independent pop-up called Boca Chica. I was really excited to try Dominican food but sadly was disappointed as while all of our dishes were nicely seasoned they were really, really dry. So while it isn't necessary the venue's fault about thr food, I wouldn't recommend for dinner (but most definitely recommend the cocktails and bar). The venue staff are also not that friendly or attentive, we had been left a long time without any service (venue also uses a QR code) but still no one checked to see if we were ok or needed drinks- we'd have spent a lot more if they had. Still though, all things considered, it really is a special venue and definitely worth a visit - also a good place to consider if you're having a birthday party or a gathering, the venue is also available for private hire.

Awesome venue. Great drinks/cocktails and cool rooftop vibes. App orders which works well. Is around £9 for cocktails which seems to be the norm. Looking forward to returning post-covid when people can dance and move around to maximise the rooftop experience.

Persistence is the word: if you try to walk in in the evening it's likely they are fully booked. So plan well ahead and make a reservation. Dominican food is fresh and tasty, great to share too. Cocktails are pricey but totally worth it. Terrace becomes a greenhouse on hot days so book inside as there is AC. The club is opposite Peckham Rye station, it could be hidden for people coming from Rye Lane (just head to the station and turn left before the entrance)
