The Clockspire Restaurant

I booked a cocktail masterclass for lunchtime on Saturday. Just wow! We had a great time, mixing, shaking, chatting and learning (plus lots of drinking!) That evening we had fantastic meal for my husband’s birthday. I pre booked a table for a Saturday evening, which I would recommend as they are busy. The service was wonderful, great food, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Every course was cooked to perfection. They have a great wine list - you can order by the glass or a bottle of your choice. If you are after pre dinner drinks, I would definitely suggest you arrive early and check out the bar upstairs and have one of their wonderful cocktails or a glass of Langham English sparking wine - all served by Matt (a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to cocktails!) Thanks to all the team.

If you are in the area, you absolutely must visit The Clockspire! Staff was great and accommodating about allergies. The food was unique, flavorful, and well presented. We went for the Sunday lunch so the menu was quite limited, but everything we had was delicious. The restaurant's interior is beautiful and perfect for a special occasion or just a nice dinner. I would love to try other menus in the future!

A Spooktacular Halloween Evening at The Clockspire.The service, food, atmosphere, and overall quality are consistently exceptional. We’ve been coming here every year for special occasions since my birthday in August 2022, and each visit feels just as memorable as the first. Our visit on 30/10/25 was no exception, the Halloween recipes were amazing, with a superb variety and creative presentation. The menu remains exceptional, and the set menu offers great value, especially for a weekday.kids menu is available as well.

I have been to Clockspire so many times but I must say that the roast sunday lunch on 6.7.25 was the best one I’ve ever had. The best lunch ever. Finished with an amazing dessert. It was our first time to bring our close friends in Milborne Port, Im so glad Clockspire did not disappoint and will go back again.🙌🏼

We've have been meaning to eat at the Clockspire for a while but timings had conspired against us. Whilst staying in Shaftesbury, I had secretly booked us in as a surprise for my husband. We were treated to excellence in food, service and location. On arrival we were taken up to the bar to enjoy drinks and to select our food. Then we went down to our table. We enjoyed every delectable mouthful of each of our three courses. There were layers of tastes to bombard our taste buds! Just superb!

We have been fairly regular at the Clockspire and travel around an hour each way from Ringwood since they opened several years ago, it is well worth the effort. This review is perhaps long overdue. The refurbishment of this old schoolhouse is absolutely stunning. Care and attention to fine detail everywhere you look. They have managed to execute a balance between the original building and features with a quality modern finish. The overall ambience is fabulous as a result. The menu and food are equally sublime. The standards were extremely high but seem to have risen to even greater heights during 2025 and would match most high end establishments in Mayfair The service is equal to the food. As an overall experience The Clockspire delivers in every aspect Cannot recommend highly enough and we will continue to be regular patrons

What an experience. From the moment you walk in and you're taken to the bar for pre meal drinks to the food and the service. Not cheap but worth every penny. We ate as a family of four tonight and every dish was incredible. Top marks to the chefs and the people who served us. 5 stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delightful restaurant. Quiet, fabulous surroundings, fabulous service from Matt & Jacob & very knowledgeable sommelier, sorry, didn't catch his name but who recommended some beautiful wine pairings with our meal. Would definitely go again for a special occasion especially as they catered for gluten and wheat intolerant dietary needs extremely well. Thank you for a lovely lunch!
