The Cloud Room Coworking Space

I am so incredibly grateful I found the Cloud Room! It is such a beautifully decorated and bright space perched over the cutest alleyway consisting of several restaurants, a bike-shop and cafe w/ outdoor fireplace. The space is perfect for my needs and the community is warm and welcoming. My productivity has suffered gravely during the pandemic - I’m SOOO happy to have found the perfect place to hunker down. Added bonus - I feel way less isolated! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Great location, awesome staff and they have kombucha on tap which warms my little techie heart. Plus the bathrooms never smell stinky (which is impressive considering how many people handle business in there)

I've worked in so many different co-working spaces globally, The Cloud Room in Capitol Hill, Seattle is a true gem in this category. It is both a social club and an inspiring workspace, I feel so lucky to be a part of this warm and creative community! There's diversity in members, and the staff is smart, welcoming, and so helpful. This is by far my favorite co-working space in Seattle. Highly recommended! Hot tip: non-members can come visit The Cloud Room after 5p and it is a beautiful, private-seeming bar (reminiscent of Soho House & the like), interesting people, amazing drinks, and beautiful ambiance. Bring your friends for an impressive cocktail hour. 🍸

The coworking area has good natural lighting during the day, but once it gets dark outside, the artificial lighting is very very poor

An elegant and subdued boite-cum-communal workspace that offers spectacular views of Capitol Hill. Moderately priced for such a favourable location, the well-stocked bar is overseen by the estimable Jay Kuehner, who will prestidigitate a variety of small-plate comestibles and illuminating beverages. Bring a first date or significant other on a quiet night for maximum romantic impact - sure to impress!

A premiere co-working space that blends a professional and sophisticated ambiance. It's a contrast to the post-industrial look of the traditional places...and I want something different. The Cloud Room sits above Chophouse Row, an "alley" of boutique shops. It evokes a cozy, intimate feel. It's only a few minutes walk from the Capitol Hill link rail station. I can get serious work done in the work area and then walk a few steps to host conversations in the lounge area. I get compliments although the kudos should go elsewhere. My thanks to the great staff and ownership.

Great place. We used the conference room which was big enough for 25 people. Entrance was hard to find

Great vibey coworking office and bar with a cool terrace. Also cheaper for 24/7 access than some of the other options I was looking at. Would definitely recommend! All my friends message me when I post pictures from here asking where it is. Wifi works great and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

How many of those people on the Member Spotlight page of the Cloud Room website are actually members? VERY FEW. It's as easy as looking up the address for Civilization Design. Also, James S. Rogers' law office. Seattle Arts & Lectures. Cuniform. Smart House Creative. Etc I know someone who was given a Cloud Room membership about a decade ago. She said she dropped by just once, but they've got her on their website, making her look like a current member. If you do decide to become a member, don't expect to be networking with the people in the Cloud Room marketing materials.

The Cloud Room is a gorgeous coworking space filled with do-gooders, entrepreneurs, techies, established businesses, artists and like-minded individuals. More community-based, diverse, and less corporate feel than their peers, with individuals at all stages of their career. Located in Capitol Hill, nestled in vibrant Chop House Row, you've got a bevy of lunch(secret sushi)/dinner options to choose from. But if you want to impress your friends/clients, The Cloud Room has your happy hour covered with a bar, lounge and rooftop deck that is open to the public after 5:00pm--don't feel intimidated to come in! They also hold an eclectic event series, art walks and mixers that allow you to network outside of your normal sphere.

I found this place by mistake and so happy I did! The design of the place, the music, the ambiance, is nothing less than perfect! You can work here throughout the day, and enjoy a drink once your done. Holly, the owner, is extremely lovely and welcoming. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Seattle!

My review is for the bar only. It's a cool, nicely decorated space, but good grief the bar tender was pretentious AF. There's no drink menu to order from so I asked for something with gin. Thought I was a going to get something spectacular - yeah no, regular ole gin and tonic. No biggie, I'll give it another shot - looked around the bar, saw a drink that looked amazing. When I asked the bar tender what it was, his reply - "A cocktail". Thanks buddy, appreciate that. I didn't know I needed to be in expert in cocktails to get a yummy drink, sincerely... I thought the bartender would do the work for me. He seemed to be pouring fantastic looking drinks for the regulars and people he knew. That Seattle you-should-be-happy I'm serving you attitude is alive and well at the Cloud Room and for that reason I probably will not return.

Very cool concept: free-form work space attached to an event/lounge space. Essentially, you could have a productive work day, entertain clients and go for drinks with co-workers without ever leaving the office! The design is very urban-meets-mid-century-modern and I liked it. The drinks were solid and well-crafted.

Wow, this has been a really annoying experience. The place looks really nice from their website but good luck getting in. It took a long time to start the initial contact. Contact from website tells us there is no flex space and that to get a tour we need a referral. So I find a referral, who gives me another point of contact at Could Room. This new contact tells me there is flex space. I then confirm with her that there is in fact flex space for 3 in the building. I assume they said there is none before since I was not a referral. I'm told that I need an application to see the space. I send that. I'm told it will take 2 days tops to find out if we're approved. I inquire at 2 days, find out it would be a few more. I wait, I ask again if they made a decision. I hear nothing. I ask again. I wait. 8 days later, I get a response that they have no flex space and try to up sell me to fixed desks. This was an unprofessional pace and way to do business.

I had heard about the Cloud Room for several years and​ I am glad I became a member. Such a creative space to work. It is more than just a co-working space, but really a community​ where folks can share their ideas and passions. It is also a great place to just hang​ out and enjoy the amazing views of the city.

We were at the cloud room mainly for the bar and rooftop that was associated with it. The bar featured a great variety of cocktails that you could choose from and we each got the papaya/ginger choice. Then, we headed out to the rooftop where there were three DJs. We got a chance to peek into their open working space, and it seemed like there were a lot of photographers who were using the area. Loved it!

Stopped by to try the place out with a business associate, and initial response was chilly. Indicated I was there to meet said associate and got, "well, I'm the GM and I'm not familiar with them." I showed myself to their waiting area. When my associate did show up, we got a tour by another staff member. When my associate asked if we could try the place out for two hours (there was plenty of room), we got "our GM is busy and I don't think she allows that." Nice space but the management clearly is not relationship or customer-minded. From this rather chilly experience, I can tell you that my associate's words were "never ever again." Total opposite the experience from WeWork -- they are friendly, customer-focused and exceed my service expectations, not to mention with a national and global footprint and comparable work facilities.

This workspace has changed the way that I look at being self-employed. The environment is both social and work-friendly, each member is fascinating and the staff is top tier. Not to mention the bar that opens at 4 daily and the amazing bartenders Jay & Noe. I would not change anything about this amazing place!

Lovely space but faux-sophisticated electronic music plays nonstop, even outdoors. Lots of talk about creativity and community but clearly the orientation is toward money.

I have been a Cloud Room member since it first opened and have watched its evolution as a co-working space, a social space and a space for ideas. The events they put on bring together some of the most interesting people in Seattle, and access to these events, as well as the beautifully curated bar, are major perks of membership for me.

Gorgeous work space, exceptional private bar, and they have a podcast studio for rent by the hour.

I'm giving it 2 stars because a restaurant or bar is made up of great customer service, unfortunately this place lacks it. The bartender did not greet us at standing at the bar, when it came to ordering drinks he got upset and made a smirk face and gave us attitude. This definitely did not make us go back and order other drinks. We ended up sitting outside which was beautiful on a nice sunny day. At the time of leaving there were 2 groups left and the bartender did not say thank you or have a good evening... he clearly saw us leaving. I've worked in customer service for 13 years and definitely know what excellent customer service looks like. This place needs a person more personable or someone who actually enjoys what they do for work. What's the point of creating a beautiful space if you have poor customer service to run your business? I sadly won't be returning or recommending this place to friends.

The Cloud Room has been a vital part of building our company. It's a terrific space for every day work, meetings, networking, and hosting events and entertaining clients in the lounge/bar area. The staff are top shelf - helpful, great problem solvers and professional. Oh, and there's a deck for lunch or happy hour on sunny days!

I had the pleasure of being part of a group evening at the Cloud Room with dinner and drinks last night and it was wonderful! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, the space was beautiful, and the food that was arranged for our group through chef Matt Dillon was excellent. It was a perfect setting for our group to socialize and enjoy a wonderful Seattle evening!

Great place to network and get things done. I've really enjoyed a number of the events and dinners there, and now the bar is open to the public after 4. Very nice room and patio to have a beverage in, awesome bartender!
