We stopped here after a long bike ride and loved the atmosphere. The decor is fun and they have a wonderful patio. We stopped when bingo was happening and we aren’t a fan but at least it was not noticeable on the patio. We liked the free popcorn while we waited for our food. Good burger and gluten free bread for my wife’s sandwich. The waiter couldn’t be found to get our check so we had to go to the hostess in the front to track him down. It was fun and good food, but we won’t go out of way to return.

Met friends we hadn’t seen in years over lunch on a Sunday. Arrived at noon. Not busy at all; we had our pick of seating location. Great service! Patient waitress, good food that is well presented. Very generous portions. I had the chicken pot pie which comes with mashed potatoes and I chose a side of Ceasar salad. Everything tasted good. The mimosa flight was really good with cranberry, orange, pineapple, and grapefruit flavors. Nice local restaurant :)

I was impressed to find a lunch deal for $15. It came with a side a salad and a half a sandwich More than enough and quite a bargain and this economy. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The young lady who served us was helpful and pleasant. I had chicken nachos, Thai salad, and half of a Chicago sub which was delicious.

Glad to have The Clover restaurant and pub in Rosemount, MN. It adds a lot to our local dining options. This time I ordered the Beer Battered Sunfish, which was pleasing. Unfortunately, they were already out of the salmon entrée. So I do recommend going early vs later in the evening to enjoy the full range of entrees and appetizers. A young man came from the kitchen to ask how I wanted my sunfish prepared, which is super great customer service. He was happy to grill it vs fry the fish. I also was able to substitute fresh fruit for the French fries. It came with two sauces, and both were a nice blend with the fish. The Irish Stew pairs up perfectly with The Clover’s Charred Garlic Toast. It’s ideal for cold winter meals. The Irish Chop salad is a nice alternative to traditional salads with napa cabbage, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, and almonds; I like it best at brunchtime. The Clovertini has raspberry, cranberry, and pineapple fruit flavors; they were kind enough to cut the alcohol content way down for me. The Thai Mojito is also great. I love the large table by the fireplace – great for larger groups. Families find it quite friendly as they serve free popcorn. This may keep kids content until their ordered food arrives. For groups seeking a quiet corner, there is an ideal booth. While it has a TV, you can turn it off or up, to your liking. Parking is good. You can spot The Clover on your left if driving north on Hwy 3 in Rosemount. It’s across from Aldi’s and next to Starbucks Coffee.

Food wasn’t as good as I hoped but the server was nice and the wait time wasn’t bad.

After being seated in a booth directly by the bathroom (a couple came in right after us and were seated in a booth NOT by the bathroom, there were two of us) we were not greeted by a server for 10 minutes, let alone get drinks. When we were met with the server, she didn’t come with a smile or an apology for the wait. After seeing her interactions with other tables, it was clear that her attitude and avoidance for our table was targeted, as she was laughing and smiling with others. She checked on our table once while we were eating our food even though we had our almost empty cups at the edge of the booth for over 6 minutes. When we were given our food by the food runner, he stated “what do you guys need?” The energy and communication was off and very disrespectful. The only good thing is that my dad’s meal, the prime rib, was good. *edit to add things: the couple who was seated in a booth not close to the bathroom had the same server as us so it wasn’t due to seating arrangements for servers. Coming from someone who worked in a restaurant for 2 years and understands relatively how most work, I am VERY dissatisfied in this service.

I picked a quiet Friday mid afternoon for lunch. Music playing is pleasant and at a respectable volume. The Irish stew is bold and rich in flavor, far better than most beef stews I've sampled. The bread with it leaves much to be desired in flavor. Though it has a nice crunch, I do not find it complimentary to the stew. The Flame Burger is quite enjoyable if you can handle some spice. It did not leave me feeling like I was breathing 🔥, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that thinks jalapenos are too hot to eat. The French fries have excellent seasoning and flavor.

Google
Nice location and atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. We loved our cheese curds appetizer. Generous portions. Angelino Roast beef sandwich was tasty. The ribs were ok (good sauce, but meat was a bit tough) unique and yummy thick cut fries. Will visit again, and maybe hope for an expanded menu at some point.

Yelp
A lot of potential is being wasted here. I've tried multiple times, hoping to find something on the menu that's actually edible. It's disappointing because the sister restaurants are some of my favorites. And don't even get me started on the menu. I should've taken a picture of the dry pigeon wings I ordered last night. They're trying too hard to be different, but the food just isn't good enough to justify it. Such a great piece of property wasted.

Emilee K.

Yelp
Great happy hour spot! The nachos were amazing - definitely order for an app! Also one of the best patty melts I've ever had. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super efficient and friendly. Parking was easy - they have a decent sized lot.

Kathleen K.

Yelp
We came on a Monday for the $10 burger special. I was pleasantly surprised by the burger. It was flavorful and nicely cooked. My husband had the Rosemount sandwich. He said it was ok and too salty. The tomato basil soup was good. We were disappointed by the bread pudding. The sauce was good but it was just a blob of bread. My advice is to come and Mondays and order a burger.

Yelp
Went on st Patrick's day, it was busy so we expected the service to be slower. First off, the complimentary popcorn was AMAZING. The food was spectacular! I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and would definitely get again. We tried the Reuben rolls and Irish stew which may have only been on the menu for the holiday so sorry if so. Tried the peach cobbler mule, drinks were strong but worth it! Very open and spacious seating. Will be back!

Kielyn S.

Yelp
We love this place. I've been twice with my family and we had a great experience both times. Attentive service and the food is so delicious. They bring popcorn right away which is perfectly salted and delish! I've had beef stew and meatloaf- both excellent. Don't miss a chance to try this spot!

Ken H.

Yelp
Had the Black and Blue burger and skipped the onions, it was super flavorful. Some sort of spice was on it. Good prices and patio is dog friendly. Good service, inside looks amazing. Would recommend this place!

Kat T.

Yelp
Our server, Ashley, was the best! She was attentive and friendly. The food came out in a timely matter. The cider and espresso martini were very good. We will be coming back for happy hour.

Don E.

Yelp
French Dip is all bun, very little meat. The angelino used to overflow with good beef. Now, not so much. They must have told the cook to cut the meat. I've given up.

Jodi B.

Yelp
Best waitress ever! Wish she could cook. I didn't have the heart to give her feedback so here it is. Pot pie was watery. Gross. Club sandwich was not crispy. Bacon was undercooked, so was toast even lettuce not crisp. Pad Thai noodles had good flavor but chewy and stringy. Cheese curds were blah and undercooked. Walleye fingers had zero flavor. The fire burger or whatever it was called was a winner. Need a new cook, there were way too many bad things bummer because we live so close. The patio is lovely. And did I mention the awesome waitress?

Lisa S.

Yelp
Met a colleague here for a lunch meeting. I opted for the beet salad which was very good. Lots of beets and fresh cheese. Great summer option. Parking was easy. Service was uneven. Good in the beginning then we had to continually flag down our server a bit later. The booths have nice privacy to not bother others while talking. Atmosphere for lunch was bright and inviting.

Jay R.

Yelp
We were there on 10/29/24 for dinner after tennis game. Waitress Bri refused us service, accusing of already drunk. We were unpleasantly surprised, we gone there straight from game, not sure what made her think that way. She threated to call cops if we say another word. We were all non-white, wonder if that played a role. Manager did apologize for her behavior. Its first time in my life I got treated this way. Looks like its a management issue, another patron shared similar review in the past, hopefully they will improve hiring practices.

Patrick B.

Yelp
Decided on The Clover for lunch. Sat at the bar and chatted with the awesome bar manager. She was very personable and delightful. Ordered the Double Burger and added fried onions. I chose fries as the side. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and I eat a lot of burgers. Bun was toasted well and the had the perfect bite. The burger patties were somewhere between thick and smash! The grind and blend were spot on. The patties were were formed just enough to hold their shape and allow for max tenderness. The cheese was ooey and gooey and perfect. The burger is the perfect size as well. Not too small and not too big. I asked the bar manager if the burger was always this well prepared and she assured me that it was. It's a winner! The fries were crazy good as well. Seasoned very well and the cut was unique. It's a solid choice for this side. We also ordered the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. BLT and Tomato soup. The bread was awesome, the Bacon was perfect, the L&T were fresh and crisp. The condiment/ Mayo on the BLT was really really good. Excellent sandwich, excellently prepared. The soup was ver very good as well. Take the time to enjoy this restaurant. I felt it was worth the $$.

Yelp
Definitely a much more interesting menu than most in the area. We had friendly Service and doing well in that department for just opening. Handling the influx well! We enjoyed The RB sandwich - their version of a Philly. Asked for horsey and jus on side. One of us had a few tougher bites with the sliced beef but overall great. Smelt fries were pretty good. Potato leek soup ok. Both cold. I'm sure we could have asked for them to be hotter. Happy hour appears to just be for drinks. Enjoyed something new! Also pretty adorable - they have a treasure chest with toys for little kids to take on the way out. Like Perkins of my childhood did :)

Tina V.

Yelp
I have celiac and placed a takeout order after learning they had a dedicated fryer & could make almost anything gluten-free. I paid extra for a GF bun. Unfortunately my Nima sensor detected gluten in both the bun & fries so I was unable to eat the meal. I know this is a risk taken when dining out but it's frustrating. The staff here was lovely & the menu looked great but when a gluten-free bun tests positive for gluten, it is not a place for me.

Yelp
Just went here for dinner and left happy! Atmosphere is nice inside (only complaint is the music was a tiny bit too loud but not loud enough to be a bother). Hosts were friendly and our server was also exceptionally friendly! Food was made super fast! They have some cocktails that all sound great, we tried the Newtini which I would totally recommend ($2 off during happy hour 2-6 PM M-F). For food, we got the Angelino (House-Smoked Roast Beef Sandwich) and the Brat Burger. Both of us really liked our food. My only complaint was that the roast beef had a couple of tough pieces, but it wasn't bad at all and wouldn't stop me from ordering it again. The toppings for the sandwich were great and otherwise the roast beef tasted fantastic! They also have a gluten free bread option for the sandwich that was good. Their fries were unique and were seasoned really well- definitely up there on my list of fries. Hubby liked his brat burger but did say it was a bit salty but otherwise really liked that and his sweet potato fries. I love the unique options on their menu and we left with happy tummies! We'll be back!!

Shelby G.

Yelp
The Clover has been on my list of places to try so I'm glad I was in the area and got to stop in for lunch. Here are my thoughts: Super cute inside and out and really clean Very friendly and inviting staff (this is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3) Food was average -- my sandwich was a little bland, but the fries were pretty good Service was a little slow, but I was okay with that since my husband and I were relaxing after a morning hike We may go back if we're ever in the neighborhood again since some of their apps sound good.

Debbie D.

Yelp
Great food. Great atmosphere, great service. Just can't believe how high prices have gotten. It makes it hard to eat out. Specially if you have a family.

Melissa F.

Yelp
The food was terrible. This is our 4th time coming here & just still cannot find anything that is good. Food was too salty. Hoping for a new place to come into Rosemount.

Jodine P.

Yelp
We love the clover! We come here at least once a month. The burgers are out of this world!!! The sweet potato fries are also so good!! They have happy hour all day Sunday and good prices. The staff are always so nice. In the summer the patio is great to sit out on for dinner.

Lynea M.

Yelp
I sat at a table for 2 hours playing bingo. Not once were we asked if we wanted anything. Manager has walked by ten times and nothing!

Mia H.

Yelp
We've loved the Clover the two times we went recently, they're gluten friendly with gluten free bread and buns and a dedicated gluten free fryer so I can eat their absolutely delicious fries. Sundays they don't serve lunch until 1 but will provide a lunch menu to accommodate gluten free patrons (breakfast is often some of the least gluten friendly menus) The breakfast portions are GIANT. My husband only managed to eat 1/2 of his burrito and my 14 year old son also only was able to eat 1/2 of his burger. They're very kid friendly with a nice little treasure chest up near the door full of little toys and goodies for kids, and they bring free popcorn to the tables as well. The fries are some of the best fries I've had, super unique shape- perfect for scooping up sauce. If you like a little spice I highly recommend asking for a side of their reaper aioli they use on their flame burger to dip the fries in! I will say that the portion size of my salmon sandwich was a little sad compared to the portion sizes of the breakfast items.

Cassie T.

Yelp
Great food, the roast beef sandwiches are amazing! They have a cute treasure chest with random toys that kids can grab to help keep them busy, popcorn, and dogs are allowed on the patio! The ambiance is really nice in the place too!

Phil R.

Yelp
I had the kids take their mother out for brunch. They Said the shrimp cocktail was the best they ever had. All the food was good and there was no shortage when going up for more. The service was also outstanding. It was a hit. Now I will have to stop in and try the roast beef. Thank you for making my kids Mother's Day special.

Michele H.

Yelp
No complaints about my experience at The Clover, but I can't say I was "wow'd." My friend and I got the KC and Brussel sprout slaw. Their roast beef was good but the slaw was runny and had, like, no Brussel sprouts in it. Very meh. Service was great and I liked the nice open atmosphere. I would go again if I was in the area.

Toni C.

Yelp
Went for dinner and there were hardly any people but service was horrible. We ordered an old chicago ( 1 piece of meat) all bread, which was stale and stale kettle chips. 2nd sandwich had a little more beef but still stale bread. FF we're ok and onion soup is was average I would not go back!

Brent C.

Yelp
After it changed from previous owner/name we tried it out but nothing makes us want to go back, its just average.

Barb S.

Yelp
I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. I've eaten them many times before at many different restaurants. The one at Clover is NOTHING like a true Monte Cristo! The meat on the sandwich and the raspberry jam was the same, but nothing else! We had no one come and ask about how things were so we couldn't even tell anyone. We will never go back there and we are so disappointed.

A B.

Yelp
Great kids and adults food. Very festive inside with Halloween decorations and a grab bag for kids to pick from. Very pleasantly surprised how nice the interior of this place is. Fun midday weekend bingo. Service was great.

S J.

Yelp
Worst Ruben ever!! Ordered classic Ruben and it was served with some sort of roast beef. Not tasty either, quite bland.

D. N.

Yelp
Love this fun local place. Highly recommend one of the beef sandwiches and their bloody Mary's!

Erik S.

Yelp
I really wish COVID would eff off. With a high crowd and no restrictions, Clover is going to be a great Public House. I was impressed by how bright the Pub was when we walked in. Dark woodwork with bright white walls and a long, beautiful bar. Black leather accents and a great tile floor made it feel almost like Dublin. The staff was really awesome. Enthusiastic and helpful. They had ready recommendations and some sage, experienced advice on the menu items. The menu has a more American flair than an Irish selection of "pub grub". Smoked meats, burgers, salads and appetizers. Fries, lots of aioli, and very rich flavors. The selections didn't stand out, but were reliable and good. Some of the smoked meat was a bit on the salty side. Sadly, the "house burger" was nothing that I would recommend as something to stake a reputation on. It was over cooked, salty, and carried little flavor. But, it was a good side to a great selection of beers. It was fine, but in a world of gourmet burgers, it could be much more. We had a smelt appetizer that was insanely great though. It was a solid hit. We played bar bingo, listened to great music and really enjoyed our visit. They have an Old School Perkins style wishing well full of toys for kids at the exit. All in all, The Clover is a great start. It's poised to be the best single destination in Rosemount. Adding some live music (please make it Irish and not a damned Rolling Stones cover band) and putting up some odes to great Irish legends on the walls will make it feel like Temple Bar.

Brooke H.

Yelp
My husband and I came in on a Sunday evening. Right off the bat, we loved how bright and beautiful the restaurant is! We really liked the decor, especially "Danny Boy". For drinks, I ordered the Newtini - really nice specialty cocktail. I loved the hint of allspice in this. Well done! My husband had the Sage Advice, which he also really enjoyed. For dinner, I ordered the Angelino. I found this to be lacking the caramelized onions, Brie, and balsamic vinegar. They were listed in the ingredients but there were hardly any on my sandwich to notice them, so basically it was just the smoked beef (which has fabulous flavor!), garlic aioli, and arugula. It was good, but not great. My husband ordered the sunnies which he said tasted a little fishy (I guess that's what you expect to taste being sunfish?) he prefers more of a classic fish fry flavor. All in all, the fries and the cocktails were the highlight of our first dining experience here. We'll be back to try other dishes from The Clover!

Susan E.

Yelp
We were at the Clover for happy hour and ordered the wings- what a joke. We got 6 wings that couldn't have come from a bird any bigger than a hummingbird! I feel embarrassed for the server having to serve them. This is our third time here and have not been impressed. Especially after they discontinued they're amazing potato chips which were the only thing going for them.

Ray B.

Yelp
Love the new place in town!! From the bright walls and great oldies music playing to the best wings I have ever eaten. The sauces are so flavorful . Staff was very accommodating to all our questions and requests.

Turd F.

Yelp
Been going here for months because I knew a worker there. Excellent service, not a bad atmosphere at all. Recently got wind that that coworker got let go by MANAGEMENT after bringing in A LOT of business. If that's a reflection on how this place is run, then I'm out. Good luck lol -Turd Ferguson

Linda B.

Yelp
Just not impressed. The service was really poor and the place was not that busy. Wait person forgot to bring our salads before the meal. When we were done, she didn't bother to take our plates away when she stopped to check on us and we had the plates stacked so it was obvious we were done. Food was OK. I had the shrimp bowl. Friend had the meat loaf and she liked it. Another friend had the walleye and she said that was very good. In my mind, the food can be good, but if the service is terrible - doesn't equal the equation.

Matt F.

Yelp
I truly appreciate that they have a very tight menu with unique to the area offerings. The fries are unique, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The roast beef is thin sliced and the various styles are great. I highly recommend the nordeast and the one with kimchi. The kimchi is the perfect blend of flavors and heat. The kimchi is also featured in the pork belly lettuce wraps. The cheese curds and pretzels are also great starters. The whole smoked wings with dry rub were fantastic.

Tanner L.

Yelp
Former Employee Here! I had my shifts taken away today (basically fired) because I stood up for myself and my coworkers after the general manager Heather Burrows held a meeting yesterday wherein she belittled and disrespected the staff, calling them thieves, drunks, saying that we serve minors at the bar, and she spoke to us like children the entire time. None of which (at least on my part) is true at all, which is what makes this most frustrating. I asked for an apology and stated that this is not the demeanor a manager should have with their staff - and if they are constantly watching cameras and monitoring the computer system as they say they are, then if any of those items were true, they should know who's at fault for it. You don't hold a meeting and practically scream at your staff while having to take multiple breaks to calm yourself down and threaten termination and calling the cops various times. It's unprofessional. I'm glad to no longer "be a part of the family" here if this is how you treat family who have done absolutely nothing wrong.

Jake J.

Yelp
The bartender's get drunk and are rude. I won't be back. The food is really good and it's sad to see the bar staff ruin the environment.

Dan F.

Yelp
Spent a Friday here with wife and son. Food was good. I am really a tough customer, so 4 stars is actually a great review. The place is pretty spread out and servers are covering a large area. Management needs to pay close attention to this because our server was covering our table and a takeout at the door which is ridiculous. I ordered a salmon sandwich. The sandwich was tasty and I enjoyed it, but the salmon was scant on one half and the cucumbers were a miss...capers belong on such a sandwich. Cucumber is a dreadful punt of midwest chef fear. Wife had irish stew and I got a bite; it was savory and delicious, however, it was not real pretty. A tradeoff, scrumptious, but not pretty. My son was not feeling well and I will not review his dish. Lotsa love for The Clover, thanks for a great Friday. Give those servers small enough areas mgmt.

David T.

Yelp
Great quick service on a busy Friday evening. Nachos were unique but amazing. Kennedy (server) was awesome. She was attentive, quick and super friendly.

Brian K.

Yelp
Do not order the "Loaded Grilled Cheese". This pathetic excuse for a sandwich technically had everything it described but it may have been made by the cooks child. Not sure how they melted the cheese without toasting the bread. I would give the place 1 star but the establishment itself looks like a nice place to enjoy a night out. Hopefully the rest of the food isn't this bad or they would be wasting a nice looking restaurant

Ny J.

Yelp
For my Father's Day gift I was brought here yesterday for the 1st time. Our waiter RJ was AMAZING,he was funny, great suggestions and awesome customer service! We had Smoked Ribs Cheese Curbs,Steak & Shishito Peppers. The food was great! Will definitely be back.

Matthew D.

Yelp
Service was pretty slow considering it was not busy, food was solid, ambiance is the best part.

Becka F.

Yelp
We were really excited to try this place. The food was not good. No one liked what they ordered, and the service was slow, even though they were not busy.

Larry W.

Yelp
We were disappointed with the quality of the food, this was our second visit and both visits the food did not meet our expectations. At this time we would not recommend this restaurant if asked.

Noah H.

Yelp
Love this restaurant. I've been here 3 times. Had a bunch of different things. The roast beef obviously is great in all forms. The fries and sweet potato fries are great. They give you popcorn as an appetizer (cooked in coconut oil--yay healthier). We have also been on a week night when they have specials. Big fan.

Emily J.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and I will be a returning customer! The service is outstanding and the food is even better! Lauren S. Has been my server each time and she's awesome. Management team is always checking on tables to make sure everything is okay, and take care of their guests. If you haven't been here yet, make sure you put it in your plans for the weekend!

Katia V.

Yelp
Bingo night is fun to spectate. Good food also, overall great atmosphere. They asked if we were okay with the bingo, which was like a Sunday afternoon. Not sure if they do that every Sunday.
