Best Restaurants and Bars in Ocean City, Maryland | Eater DC

"A highly Instagrammable island oasis called Coconut Club made its debut inside the Park Place Hotel last May. Along with tropical cocktails served in coconuts, the bright bar sends out a pretty passionfruit mai tais, umbrella-topped pina coladas, and frozen lemonades fit for summer strolling along the boardwalk. For food, find Beyond burgers, plump crab cake sandwiches, and smoked wings and fish. While the name’s the same, there’s no affiliation with D.C.’s long-gone Coconut Club." - Tierney Plumb

The Invention of Cocktails Served in Coconuts | Eater

"This Los Angeles tiki pop-up is a ticketed, planned event centered on cocktails served in whole coconuts; its signature Coconut Delight is poured into hard, brown, dry coconuts rather than smoother young Thai coconuts, and guests are often served the coconut water at the start of their meal. The team emphasizes the tactile, escapist experience of holding a real coconut, but that comes with heavy prep and inventory planning—the chef reports opening over a thousand coconuts and estimates about three to four minutes to prep each one—something the operators accept because of the strong customer reaction." - Kelsey Lawrence

The Coconuts club is a hidden gem in OC incredible rooftop views, a relaxed vibe and some of the most creative cocktails we’ve had in town. Caleb was an awesome bartender, friendly and knowledgeable about the drink menu. They don’t serve food, but you can order from a restaurant below and have it delivered right to your seat or bring carryout. It’s a perfect spot for beautiful ocean and beach view we will definitely be back.

We didn't have the food here, but the Coconut Club is definitely the best place on the boardwalk to get mixed cocktails. The drinks are made to order and not premixed or served from those slushie machines that a few of the others on the boardwalk are. They are mixed properly, not over or under poured, which ensures every drink tastes the proper way. Staff is super friendly and every bartender was great. Special shout-out to Zander, all the other bartenders are top notch but Zander adds a little flourish to his drink crafting and really makes you feel like every drink comes with a show. Do yourself a favor and try at least 3 drinks here, 1. The Members Only!!! absolutely incredible, 2. The Pina Colada, best one I've ever had, and 3. The 7 Minutes in Heaven, a wonderfully smokey bourbon cocktail. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere, delicious drinks, great view. I miss it already.

Incredibly delicious and elevated cocktails! Service was 12/10 with such a friendly staff. The owner is very knowledgeable about the ingredients and flavors in her drinks. It was a treat to chat with her! Such a gorgeous view and the apps we had were fresh and came out quickly. Oc needed a spot like this! Cannot wait to go back.

They have some really unique drinks that definitely are worth stopping by for. Food right now is from Bull on the Beach kitchen, which is always good. Great views of the boardwalk and beach. Little on the pricey side, but worth it. The Bartender Zander was absolutely fantastic and made it a fun experience for us.

I have a very mixed review here. We’re locals, and was excited when we happened across the sign on the boardwalk for a new place. The atmosphere and view is beautiful. The service was great from Imani. The drinks were amazing (overpriced), but really good. The menu and the food was very, very disappointing. The menu is sparse, to say the least. I understand if they’re looking for upscale, or healthy… but then they want $50 for fish, rice and steamed spinach. IF we go back, it will be for drink. Unless they change their menu completely, and charge a reasonable price, we probably won’t be back.

This place has exceeded any and all expectations of a cocktail bar in ocean city. I stopped by with my husband and in-laws and we all agreed that these are the best cocktails we have ever had. 10/10 recommend. I spent my time here drinking out of a fresh coconut over looking the Ocean and I couldn’t have been happier. The service was wonderful and the view was beautiful. We weren’t planning on getting food but ended up getting the ceviche and the truffle fries and they were so so good. I’m excited to go back and try more of their menu!

A few of my girlfriends and I came here for brunch and then came back again for cocktails at night. I have to say this is a new ocean city staple for me. The coconut club is located on the boardwalk and offers incredible ocean front views. The brunch breakfast burrito was delicious and the food was fresh and came out quickly. They make an amazing espresso martini! When we went for cocktails at night my favorite was the liliboi. The staff were both attentive and friendly. I had an amazing experience and will be returning to the coconut club.

Coming to the Coconut Club during Memorial Day Weekend was a hit!! A group of friends and I always come down for our annual MDW trip and we added this into our rotation of spots to eat and drink! Needless to say we will be keeping it on our rotation! We stayed a street down on 2nd St and this was in perfect walking distance from our AirBnB and steps off the beach. Perfect for any time of day- refreshing food, handcrafted cocktails, and atmosphere! I loved the elevated friendly beachy tropical vibe it brought! A friend and I split the chips and dip trio, the caprese sandwich and skewers. AND the drinks were just delicious. The bartenders were lovely, personable, and delicately intentional with the crafting of the drinks which we got within minutes of ordering. The espresso martini and yummy tummy crush were my go-tos that weekend! For how fresh and specific the food/drinks were, I felt the $$ was more than reasonable. The best part is that I love how it overlooks the beach and boardwalk! Can’t find any place like it on the boardwalk… I can’t wait to become a regular here this summer! Definitely reccomend a visit during your stay in OC!!

Yelp
Wow... Wait a hot second here. What the.... I'm the first to review?? Really. Ok it is kind of hard to find. It over looks the boardwalk and has a great view of the Ocean. My first time here was a year ago. Friends and I stumble upon it. Climb up the steps (they have an elevator too) The best Orange Crushes - better than the original place. You can order food from them or a restaurant below and have the meal brought to you. We like sitting around the bar but they have loungers and large tables to sit at as well. Bartenders are awesome and this time around got to meet the young owner. Great job. She was making a super cool Fourth of July drink. I had 2 places I wanted to go, this place was 1 Of them. I'll be back!
