A $6 cappuccino for their size and taste is absolutely not worth it! Additionally, they don't accept the CBTL app. Next time, I’ll go to Starbucks across the street instead.

I came for that September $2 Salted Caramel Drink Deal on Thursday. They were out, so they offered a Pumpkin Spice Ice Blended Drink instead. It was good in taste. The pastries were scarce and did not look so fresh. I got the Chocolate Croissant which was just OK. I came around 4pm and it was empty, no wait! This Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is located in the Long Beach Courthouse as part of a food court, so it actually does not give you the nice coffee shop feel. A plus are the big windows that provide a lot of natural lighting.

I’m sorry but the workers there had no idea what they were doing. Pretty sure they didn’t use the sugar free powder I asked for not to mention they put way too much of whatever they did put in there. The cup is all ice, literally. I saw her scoop the ice and it was all the way to the top. And to top it off they didn’t even fill up my drink to the top…. They need to hire more experienced baristas. It wasn’t cheap and if anyone wants Coffee Bean please make the drive and go to an ACTUAL one. Not the ones where you can’t even use the app to get your points. I should have just driven the extra 10 minutes.

This is the first Boba place in Long Beach to open that is LEGIT. I got the SoMatchaCoffee and it was great. The matcha tasted real unlike the syrup a lot of places used. You get to set your sweetness level which is always a plus. I have to come back when they have thier grand opening to try thier home made grass jelly and pinnaple cakes. But my first impression is greatn

Love coffee bean!! The hot white chocolate latte is delicious. Roxy was a sweetheart and was patient with me as I was somewhat indecisive.

The coffee was good just wish the seats were cleaned up since they were littered with a bunch of food.

I am a coffee connoisseur ok . I absolutely love this coffee perfection. Iced Hazel nut coffee with 1 shot of expresso. What a pick me up strong an delicious coffee.

Stop and read please Please do not use the app! It has an error that added $1.55 to each order and they refuse to fix it knowing about it!! It has cost me $70!!!

Very clean place to grab a cup of joe. Seriously the staff is extremely happy in the morning, which is hard to come across. I order a small cup of coffee before I entered the court room. They asked me if I wanted anything in addition to the coffee and I declined. I only waited 3 minutes and my coffee was ready. I grabbed my coffee and it didn't burn my hands. I was skeptical in taking a sip but it didn't burn my lips. The coffee tasted fresh and gave me that boost of energy we always look for. Will be purchasing my coffee from here more often. Thank you for making my morning a great morning!

I have been spending time working on a major project here. They staff is always friendly and professional and I find the ambiance positive. It's a great Coffee Bean!

My man had a meeting out in Long Beach & I wanted a quick spot to grab a tea latte to work out of for a few while my man was at a meeting. Having been a minute since I've been in the LBC, and, well, some other more artisan spaces being questionable as to if they'd have indoor seating, we chose a random spot for me to park at a few. While this location was clean & the staff was nice enough, there weren't any outlets at all & the wifi didn't even work. Given that this location was apparently at a courthouse, you'd hope that there would have been working outlets & wifi for folks going in to do business. Now, I don't expect the little guy to be taken care of with having this kind of care or courtesy while they attend court affairs (especially as per the staff at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf informed me that evictions were currently happening during the holidays! "Joy") but I guess I'd thought that maybe they might have cared about the other side of things with the various government employees that might want to pop onto the wifi & get something from this spot. Apparently they don't care about anyone in this government building. I would expect nothing more or less than this spot which should get a one star but is getting two today because, again, the staff was nice & they had my favorite Winter Dream Tea Latte which is absolutely fantastic regardless of the location.

I'm new to the area and love CBTL. I'm so happy to have found one within walking distance to my place. The employees are so kind and helpful. My favorite is the Winter Dream Latte. Yum!!

Their blood orange cold brew iced tea is amazing! I get it all the time especially during the summer and never disappoints. I enjoy their app which makes it easy to order ahead then grab your drink inside when it's ready without having to wait in line or talk to anyone.

All the ladies here are so hard working and excellent at what they do. They are often busy and short staffed and yet they still make it work and hustle so people get their drinks. I come here almost every day and I love the people here.

This location seriously sucks. There's always something wrong. Gift card scanner doesn't work, they don't accept the app, baked goods are rarely out, and there's always a delay in service. I love coffee bean and this is the only location I have complaints about. Perhaps it's just a small location for the courthouse employees.

Green tea latte should not look like watered down hot chocolate. So I asked for Moroccan mint tea latte. I get a drink that looks brownish-pink, tastes of very weak chocolate, and has a hint of mint. Not what I expected. I could have done the same with a half packet of swiss miss instant coco, some tooth paste, and water. When I asked the lady behind the counter she explained that they use mint chocolate powder in the drink... "what the cluck?"

Place is clean and ladies here are nice. Brenda made the drink good. As I was a barista in for 4 years for another coffee bean. Keep up the good work. Please be advice this is next to the courthouse.

Worst coffee bean ever. I was pretty excited when I found out that a coffee bean was being put in close to where I live. Greenhouse isn't within walking distance, Birdcage doesn't take cards (what's the deal with that?) and Starbucks is... well it's Starbucks. However, this place is terrible. The hours are strange, they don't keep normal hours, the service i poor. The coffee they serve here doesn't taste as good as other locations. Today was the final straw when I went in to order a coffee and they told me they didn't accept the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf card as a form of payment. They didn't say their system was down and they couldn't take it, they said they didn't accept their own companies gift card as a form of payment. Seriously, screw this place you're better off at it's a grind or even Starbucks.

Staff remembers all the morning customers' names and drinks are always on point! Even being a gold member for over 5 years at sbux you can find me at this CBTL Monday through Friday. They started offering free delivery in the morning for the late risers :)

Their drip coffee is great, their blended coffees are okay. Their pastries (Bagels) tend to be dry and old, not fresh. Their service is just OKAY, (Not equivalent to Starbucks customer service). If you need an additional empty cup, it's an additional $1.00, :(, unless you get a plastic cheap cup for free with no lid. I'm not sure if this goes for ALL Coffee Bean locations or just this one. Again, my experience with competitor coffee shops have been more pleasant. They started honoring Coffee Bean Gift Cards but like a previous yelper mentioned, they were not at one point in time. They DO NOT honor "COFFEE BEAN REWARDS" on your phone app, they only do the old fashion Coffee Bean royalty business card with a stamp for each visit.

Whoever decided to put a Coffee Bean and Subway at the courthouse is a genius. MUCH better than having to walk past sketchy Lincoln Park to get my morning pick-me-up before heading into the courtroom. First time I came here they had only been open for two days and the staff was very friendly and got my order right! Great start to a newly opened business!

Excellent selection of coffee and pastries for a delicious morning! Service was quick and the staff are friendly. I also got a stamp card where I'll get a free drink after 10 stamps. The stamp card has made it a mission for me to come back.

I have always been a die hard Starbucks fan (gold member), but when I finally gave Coffee Bean a try, I noticed what I had been missing. They have the best blended drinks- Starbucks doesn't even compare. I had the vanilla blended drink and was very pleased with my order.

I love Coffee Bean, plain and simple! I have since I was a kid. I love that they will make you special drink concoctions if you request, and are really nice and accommodating about it. So why not five stars? Any other Coffee Bean would receive a five star review, but despite all the convenience of being right in the building where I work, they do not accept the Coffee Bean gift card?!?! What is the deal with that? Originally, when they opened, I was told they system was not set up to take them yet. Then I was informed that the owner of this particular franchise decided not to honor the gift cards...I didn't even know that was an option. Their saving grace is now they offer a stamp card (started about 2weeks ago). After 10 drinks, you get a free drink and item from the pastry case. I am not pleased that they don't accept gift cards, but the convenient location and stamp card made them once again worthy of my business...

This place is awesome! They are super fast and friendly. I would recommend this place! I'm glad they accept gift cards now
