This is a great coffee bean. The vibe is laid back and the staff are friendly. The company needs to open locations in Houston.

Came here for my first time and had a good experience. They were helpful with recommending different options for coffee. I got the burrito and it was good. Clean and inviting atmosphere to hang out in. From the other reviews it seems when they opened it was a little rough, I think it’s worth another shot.

This location always has the kindest and friendliest staff that is so willing to help and always makes a good drink. If I'm ever dissatisfied they're more than willing to remake it and if I am dissatisfied it's usually because I described what I wanted inaccurately.

This morning I got the Jasmin tea. This was a ritual I did once a week. The two girls I saw working there forgot to put the Jasmin in my tea. Pretty much served me sugar water. I even took a picture. Two people that were working missed this? I don’t make much money. It’s hard to wanna spend it when you don’t even get the main ingredient.

If I could give this no stars I would. I went up to the drive through and ordered an iced americano. The drive through closes at six. I ordered right at 420pm. I hand the woman a twenty dollar bill. Two minutes later, she comes back and says, yeah, sorry, my boss closed the drawer. She's like do you have a credit card and I said, i'm not gonna put a 4 coffee drink on a credit card. I said, thank you, and then I drove away. If you're going to be open until six, you should have your drawer.Available.

It’s Monday 11-10-25 at 12:43. I just stood in the lobby for 5 minutes waiting to see an employee to order a few drinks, but I never saw anyone. Just heard girls talking in the back. Disappointed. Headed to Black Rock now

I love coffee bean and tea leaf but this location REALLY NEEDS TO BE RE TRAINED ON STANDARDS AND RECIPES , on Thursday 24th I ordered a cold brew ice blended , sat in the line for 20plus minutes , when i was finally given my order I noticed right off the bat the my cold brew ice blended was completely off… I pointed it out and asked for a remake, I got the exact same drink back. A FRUMPY CLUMPY SEPARATED AWKWARD MESSY DRINK. Lol I asked if they had put vanilla powder and milk inside of it, the manager and the employee said it doesn’t have that in the ice blended. Weird because I get EXCLUSIVELY this drink at cbtl , to be clear cbtl website shares the recipe online lol… (BTW THIS DRINK CONTAINS MILK AND VANILLA POWDER…. ) So I was given a product that I didn’t order, I was given a botched drink by baristas who don’t know their own recipes. For the long wait and the prices I expect a properly made drink. I didn’t get a receipt at the drive through so I can’t request a refund…. Nor leave a survey… PLEASE COFFEE BEAN WORK ON RE TRAINING YOUR STAFF ON QUALITY AND LEARNING THE RECIPES CORRECTLY. This is a on going problem at this SPECIFIC location. THE TWO FEMALES WORKING THAT SHIFT NEED RE TRAINED AND ALSO NEED ATTITUDES CHECKED, lol I wish I could take my tip back and get a refund because this was just not it. Shift leaders should 1000000% know what the recipes are and not telling customers they’re wrong when said customer knows the CBTL STANDARD RECIPE AND ALSO CAN SIMPLY GOOGLE It… for real train train and train so more btw try staffing more people and this location WILL DO BETTER.

This week has been more fabulous visits to my favorite coffee shop! I got to meet new team members Sydney, Aaliyah, Alithia, Aiden, and Kianna and have loved seeing my sweet Mia pop in some mornings! AnnaBelle is always a treasure. I could go on and on. Everyone here is so special! This store recently inherited a number of team members from stores that closed and they have slipped in seamlessly! They are so sweet and have already gone above and beyond to learn my drink! The warmth and family feel of this store has grown exponentially over the past year since Miranda took over. It is palpable! She is such a kind leader and warm presence and I have seen how much staff response has improved since she has joined. It is truly a pleasure to start my day here now almost every day! Love seeing the warm interactions and play along team members and supervisor

The person that took my order was very kind but the girl making my order was argumentative and just rather unpleasant. My order was put in wrong so the first drink came with ice. Then the rude girl strained the ice out of the glass and tried to reserve it - gross. When I questioned her she got an attitude and said I'll remake it I asked for a cold brew no ice and a cup of ice. I said the drink should be full and she informed me they onli fill it so far with or without ice. No worries. Other locations are much better anyway

I've always loved coffee bean, something about their coffee always tastes so good! Im glad to see more locations in Phoenix, finally! I tried their seasonal iced ube coconut cream matcha latte, it was so yummy! I loved it! I really liked the combination, the flavors go really well together. I would definitely order this again.

Great iced tea but ALL the egg breakfast choices have meat! And cannot be modified. What about those of us who don't eat meat? Very disappointing. Please add something with just eggs and cheese. Thanks.

I stop at this Coffee Bean every now and then when I'm up in this area and it makes my truly miss the one near where I live in (close to Old Town). I think of the large chain coffee places Coffee Bean has some of the best espresso and there sweetened flavors (usually I go with caramel) isn't TOO sweet. This location has a drive-thru, which is always convenient but whenever I to inside it's always clean and the baristas are friendly. As an added bonus I should also note they participate in Too Good To Go and I've used them a couple times and have gotten quite a good selection.

Drinks here are OK, it's heavy on the sweetness. It tastes like straight sugar syrup when you get it the regular way, and it still is incredibly sweet if you get it half sweet. However, sometimes I crave their coffee or it's closer than Starbucks. I like their ice. Their food is good too. My biggest issue is the staff. I understand the majority of them are in high school, but so are the staff from Black Rock Coffee, Starbucks, Press Coffee, etc. Every time I have come here, I think the service is a joke 70% of the time. Not rude, not mean or anything but they seem under-equipped with knowledge of how to do their role as a barista. From forgetting I'm at the window, everyone seems to be panicking when there is a slight rush, somehow not having the right order even when I'm the only one in the drive thru... it genuinely sometimes stresses me out when I see these kids running around and looking extremely stressed when it gets busy- I think there should be more leadership roles or just embracing a better work flow!!

I've tried coffee bean for the first time a few months ago and I was really impressed by the taste before I was never the type to buy coffee I just made it at home but now I get it.. I have tried iced coffee for the first time from here for the sake of trying new things and I am glad to have found this place!

Always great customer service. Drive thru is always quick! Before the horchata latte was officially on the menu, I asked if they could make me one and they did... so I feel like I encouraged the new addition to the menu after coming back for it so many times???? Lmao anywho, go to Coffee Bean! Long live coffee bean!

This location just opened up near me and I am so thankful! The store is very modern and open. The decor was mostly white but had light nature wood and purple lights. There is plenty of seating and they have a single side bar with outlets so that you can bring your computer and work in peace. The girl who took our order was so delightful. She recommended the jalapeños cheddar bagel bun as she says she can't help herself but get one everyone! I took her advice and it was fluffy and had a very small kick. Definitely worth it! The blended drinks are the perfect ratio to ice/coffee. And I was able to sneak in a sip of the cold brew Vietnamese coffee, very good! The menu had a few other things that I want to try so I will be back! Can't wait!

Gorgeous new location for Coffee Bean right near the Highway just 1/2 mile off the 101 at Pima. It's located in the Fry's Marketplace shopping center. I stopped in today because I was waiting for my oil to get changed next door at Sun Devil Auto and I needed an afternoon pick me up. I ordered on the app and just 3 minutes later walked over and it was waiting for me at the pickup counter. I talked to no one--an introvert's dream! The people were super friendly though and said it opened Monday (so day 3!) to other customers who came in to order as I was sitting there. Lots of room and trendy interior. Big, clean space. Got a cold brew and the mini crunchy ice was definitely my fave! Drive thru in full force, too. Saw many cars come through. Use the app--fast and easy.

The Coffee was amazing the pastry was excellent. The only reason I have to give this Coffee Bean a three stars rating was due to the staff. I walked in and waited in line for a bit when there were three girls in the back talking and not caring about keeping an eye out for customers. When one of them finally came out she was busy with the drive thru. She didn't acknowledge me or said anything. Then another employee walked out with no greeting, no smile and started taking my order. They also forgot to make my pastry. I had to walk up and remind them of it.

Being from SoCal, CBTL holds a special place in my heart. While I kind of miss the old style stores with the wood cabinets, the new, more modern style has been done very nicely. The employees at this location were very nice and relaxed...not over the top or fake nice like other coffee shops. My drink came out exactly as I ordered it and didn't have to wait longer than a couple minutes. We went inside the store, so I can't comment on the drive-thru. The bathrooms were super clean and well stocked. Pro-tip: You need to a 4-digit code to access the restrooms. I like this was a stand-alone building and there is tons of available parking. I think this is one of the nicer coffee joints to meet up with a friend as the interior was expansive and didn't feel crowded or like there were creepy eavesdroppers listening in. All in all, I love what CBTL has done with the old Wendy's site.

Excellent location. While waiting for my car to be serviced, I always come here. The matcha drinks -- hot or cold -- are excellent. This is also my go to location for meetings.

I do love to stop in at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf when I can, and so I couldn't resist stopping in at this new location when I was passing by on my way back to work after an appointment. The location is clean and beautiful, very modern, with lots of light and open space. My only complaint is that it is laid out very much like a typical fast-food restaurant, only with much, much better fixtures and appeal. Doesn't give me the warm-and-fuzzies I might get at some other coffeehouses that would tempt me to hang out and stay awhile, but it's not a huge complaint. One side has a counter with plenty of outlets for those wishing to work on laptops, the other side has a row of high-top tables for two, and in between is a lot of standard table seating with chairs. A small area in one corner features a mid-century modern sofa and chairs separated from the rest of the area very slightly by a divider, but it's not designed to give you much privacy or quiet, so don't rely on it for that. The drinks are the ones you are used to getting from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, of course. The friendly barista helped me figure out a substitute for my drink when she told me that they had run out of vanilla syrup, but by the time we figured out the substitute, another barista arrived with some newly arrived vanilla syrup, so I was able to get my usual vanilla bean cold brew latte with light ice--only this time it was free with the coupon I received in my app for the grand opening. A nice touch! So, overall, I think this is a great new location, if you can afford the somewhat pricey offerings here. That's pretty much what prevents me from coming back too often, but having the app is great so that you can receive offers when they have them (which isn't too often, but I do love the latte I always get, so I'm always looking for a chance to price it down a bit)! By all means, check them out. :o)

Polite service, but the coffee was fair. More of a burnt flavor and the latte was not 'rich/creamy'

We were on our way to Taliesin West and stopped here for a snack. The atmosphere was nice pleasant and the latte was good too. The people who worked here were friendly.

This is the best coffee bean location I've ever been to! I used to live in California and never have been in one as cool as this one. The girl who helped me was super sweet. Great service, amazing coffee, and the store was pristine. Perfect work space if you want to bring your laptop or meet with someone.

The staff is so nice and friendly. it is kept clean inside and they are pretty fast. Weirdly enough I've had a problem at the other coffee bean location and the other one should be taking notes from this location. Anyways I come almost everyday and feel welcomed by the staff

In my opinion, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf sells better quality products than other coffee chains. The taste of the drinks consistently taste the same regardless of which store I go to.

Great coffee and large open area for seating. Unfortunately, all large windows with no shades. Corporate will not help per employee. The AC doesn't compensate. Employee actually suggested to post a review because staff and customers have complained with no resolve.

Matcha tea is not as good as I expected. I wanted a change from Starbucks but did not find it here.

Love the location!! Beautiful interior!! Maybe get new employees who aren't closing down the place an hour before you close. I've worked many restaurant jobs and not once did we dump things an hour early. The girl with the braces was just rushing to get out of there! I understand she's young and wants to hangout but do your job! I came in hoping for a dark roast coffee but they dumped it at like 4:50! You don't close till 6 now!!! Not good customer service but the perfect location!!
