Liked the beverages at this local coffee shop - the staff are nice and have a cool seating arrangement inside. The price is reasonable and the taste of the beverage is nice. The parking is little tight however there’s ample outside street parking. Our group loved the coffee and tea here and enjoy the little chat.

Best coffee in town! I absolutely LOVE the Coffee Cowboy! The team is awesome, the merch is great - definitely a must stop in Telluride. The Lone Ranger is my go-to drink! Locally made pastries and quiche is also fire.

Cute little “mobile” coffee shop right at the base of the lift, went on a very picturesque, cold and snowy day and got some good drinks, if you like a spicy chai, this is your go to. My Lone Ranger latte was good as well, the pastries were ok, a little hard, could be due to the very cold temp that day, but probably could’ve done without

So sorry to leave such a bad review but seriously none of the four espresso drinks we ordered were good. We had high hopes for this cute stand in this beautiful place but were so disappointed. We are aware that this company just opened a new shop and that there was a huge event taking place in town during this weekend - perhaps that led to this morning’s disappointment. I do think more training for & smiles from the baristas would also be beneficial. Good luck!

Stopped by Cowboy Coffee in Telluride and grabbed an oat milk matcha latte. It was decent — nothing mind-blowing, but it definitely hit the spot. The place has a cozy, local vibe and the service was friendly. A solid stop if you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix in town.

This place is adorable and Kelly H is the kindest woman you can ever met. Love seeing her when I stop by! Great coffee too!

Fast service, quality coffee, and a neat vibe. Note: this was just an outdoor coffee stall essentially next to the gondola station in Telluride. I think a full brick and mortar store is in development, but don't expect a full cafe setup.

High quality coffee drinks served right at the entrance to the Telluride Gondola. Reasonably priced and the latte I got was super tasty. Also had breakfast burritos and baked goods (some of which were vegan and delicious). Friendly staff. Great place to grab a cup of joe before jumping on the gondola

Classic Telluride experience! I can tell they do lots of volume by the way the employees just keep things moving. Not a chit-chat kind of coffee place. But solid on their craft.

Good for a morning cup of coffee and a pastry. There was no line and location was certainly a plus.

So nice, we had it twice! This was honestly my favorite stop in telluride. The friendliest staff, the best location, and of course the best coffee! It's literally right outside of one of the gondolas so after a ride down from mountain village you can grab a delish iced coffee. The river is also nearby so you can sip and stroll on your tasty bev. Tbh, Can't wait to come back to telluride to have it again!

The cutest little coffee hut located right next to gondola in telluride! My husband and I stopped for two coffees and absolutely loved them! They had friendly and fast service! Would highly recommend!

I've been many times, and the ladies that work there are really lacking in customer service. They act annoyed that they have to serve you. Coffee is fine, but it's not worth the attitude for me.

Coffee flavor on point. I always like to get a basic coffee to see if it's legit and this place checks out. I saw someone with their personal cup who was obviously a local. Some breakfast burritos (M-F) for $8, bean coffee, smoothies, you name it. For a wee little camper of coffee love, they have it all. There's some seating around and it's tucked right on the Main Street. Will be back for sure.

Pretty cute place for coffee anything in the heart of Telluride. I came here three times while visiting the jaw dropping picturesque town of Telluride. My first visit was disappointing, since the hours changed by the owner, but Yelp and others didn't get the memo yet. During my second attempt, I wanted something sweet and went with my unusual choice of specialty latte called the Lone Ranger, mocha with caramel. This was very delicious like a dessert, but nothing I would drink as a caffeine intake. On my third visit, I was a little disappointed as I waited in line for longer than my patience would allow, and then paid $3 for a 16 oz coffee that wasn't that special at all. Not only that, I didn't have cash on me and there's a minimum $5 charge for credit card transactions including Apple Pay. In a state of panic, I ended up buying a $4 cookie that I don't need. The pricing is not an issue, it's information I wanted to share, since the town in general has inflated expenses. In summary, a great place for specialty coffee drinks, but not a big fan of their drip coffee. Also, since there's one person doing everything, if you see a line of 10 people be prepared to wait for good 20 minutes, especially since most people today order their complicated drinks.

My first visit to this charming little airstream coffee shop was great! I had an iced Annie Oakley. As someone who doesn't typically favor sweet drinks, I really liked this one! It was not overly sweet, which I appreciate. I was a little nervous when I saw the barista pouring the espresso for my drink and my husbands iced latte from a jug, rather than using an espresso machine. She might just cold brew instead of real espresso, I don't know. But thankfully, it did not impact the drinks, we both loved ours so much we wanted to come back. However, our second experience was not good. The posted hours on the shop's window said that it closes at 2:30. We were in line at 2:10. The barista served the group in front of us, but then shut the window in our faces and turned the sign to closed without any explanation at 2:15.

Yummy coffee & super quick service. The view is gorgeous and they're right next to the gondola. Perfect to grab a hot coffee and hop on for a ride.

Sweet little outdoor coffee bar in The heart of Telluride. A solid cappuccino with oat milk. The gal asked if I wanted a lid...which I appreciate as I try to avoid the use of plastic. Great flavor, service and price. Sweet bench nearby to sit and enjoy if you like.

The Coffee Cowboy really hit the spot after finishing the via ferrata. I got my go to, chai tea latte, and it was the perfect amount of sweet and spice. The cart is adorable and the barista was super sweet. They also have a small seating area behind the cart called the dude lounge. Great little spot in Telluride!

Had an excellent Cortado served by a kind barista. Breakfast burritos available and some banana bread.

Had an iced latte here and relaxed at the outdoor table- very friendly staff and accommodating to my requests! Latte was great! I highly recommend trying it- the setting is so cute!

Small coffee spot with a "dude lounge" near the back to sit and sip your delicious drink. I love the paying it forward with drink "coupons" buy one for someone else.

Cute coffee truck on the main street with tables and chairs out. Delicious coffee and pastries. Service was awesome- the girl working today Sunday 4/25 was so welcoming and nice.

Their chai tea is delicious but it's on the sweeter side versus the spicy side. The staff are always very nice too!

I don't drink coffee, so I got a small hot chocolate. It was okay, but I had to add a lot more chocolate and vanilla because it was too watery for my liking. Once I did that, it was perfect! :) This is a cute little trailer-like "coffee cart" with a few chairs outside for patrons to sit down. Great location with beautiful mountain views.

Their coffee was a little bitter imo. This was my first time trying them and I don't think I'll be back based on what I paid.

Great place to grab coffee! We got the iced coffees, which were reasonably priced for $3. Other drinks seemed a bit more pricier ($6) but I think you get what you pay for. The service was great and that area is great!!

This place has such a cute set up but the coffee unfortunately was way below average. We tried several different drinks and all of them were bad. Plus, the Barista was really rude which made us never want to come back.

BEST COFFEE in Telluride thus far!!! We tried various places but to no avail. This place really uses high quality beans, not over roasted. They have plants based milk options as well. They are currently located next to the gondola.

Lovely coffee with very friendly baristas! I ordered the oat milk latte and I loved it! Perfect beverage to fuel up before a long day of hiking! I noticed that they also had a fun selection of speciality drinks that may pique your interest when visiting. Definitely recommend not only for the experience but for the delicious drinks!

Cute little stop on the main drag of Telluride with great coffee at a great price (and seating!). The Coffee Cowboy has cute, cowboy-inspired drinks and a wonderful program where you can pay it forward and buy someone else's drink. Love to see that kind of community togetherness. The woman who helped me recommended a dirty chai, spicy, and I didn't regret it. The chai was deliciously gingery and the espresso was a delightfully dark addition to the mix. Strongly suggest stopping by this cute cart for your coffee fix.

Such a cute place tucked in the Main Street of telluride! Ordered an iced latte and an Arnold Palmer. Both were delicious, but the AP was incredible because it was with their tea of the day which was peach ginger! They also have a "pay it forward wall" where you can purchase a cup of coffee for someone else to use. Adorable!

We stopped by the Coffee Cowboy trailer on a recommendation from a friend. Coffee was okay. Kinda cool that it is in a small airstream trailer in town, but it wasn't my favorite coffee on our trip.

Friendly update for those from out of town on 5/12/22. The good folks of this coffee trailer are doing renovations and not open for 3 weeks.

Coffee every morning, smoothie every day. One of my favorite little spots in TRide! If the line is long don't worry it'll go fast. The staff inside are always friendly, even early in the morning. if you're looking for a super quick bite and really good coffee in Telluride, this is the place to go!

Oooooh, I love The Coffee Cowboy, and I'm not typically a coffee drinker... But I liked this place enough that we made several stops here during our short trip to Telluride! It's not a restaurant, it's a coffee truck. Like a food truck but full of amazing beverages instead. I may not be a coffee drinker on a day to day basis, but I can still tell good coffee from bad, I promise. I don't like all that sweet stuff, either. My go-to order here was an Iced Americano, which is wonderful all on it's own. No milk or sugar for me. The coffee was delicious, strong, and just the caffeine I needed on my trip (because when you don't usually hike of raft rivers and then suddenly you do, you get super tired). There's really a great menu here. Organic coffee, espresso drinks, chocolate drinks, teas, steamers, apple cider, sparkling cider, iced drinks, blended drinks... You might have to wait a bit if there's a line because from what I could tell, there's only one or two employees working at a time (no one else could fit in this truck!). But I think the quality is worth the wait, and they really do move pretty fast. They also sell coffee by the pound (and 1/2 pound), as well as their Torani flavored syrup by the bottle. Plenty of options here for those with food allergies, too. They have almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk, organic milk, plus half and half. They also have a nice selection of vegan and gluten-free pastries amongst the handful of baked goods they sell. You know I had to buy a GF brownie, and I'm so glad I did. It was seriously GOOD. Incredibly chocolatey with a really wonderful, chewy texture. It wasn't too dry or crumbly, as GF baked-foods often are. I should have bought extra to take home with me. I'd say the prices here are awesome too, especially for being a specialty coffee shop in tourist-filled, expensive Telluride. My 16 oz Iced Americano was only $2.75, and most drinks seem to be between $2-$4, with a few more complicated and desserty drinks running about $5. I looooved this place in the middle of summer, so I can only imagine what a warm, magical, and beautiful haven it must be in the winter... all those incredible hot drinks... the spiced cider, the chai tea, the Mexican hot chocolate. I just hope I'll make it back when it's snowy! They have just a few tables/chairs by their truck for sitting, but there's plenty to see in this tiny town - Telluride is the perfect place for a coffee truck.

This would've been a four star review, but they gave me regular milk instead of soy one of the days we were here and I got sick. Luckily I can have dairy, but a whole latte of it was too much. The coffee otherwise is fine. Pricey in my opinion if you want anything besides a drip or iced coffee but Telluride is rather pricey in general. So it's on par with that.

Cute little setup on the Main Street in Telluride. I liked how they had a fast lane and a normal ordering window. I got an iced Lone Ranger and was a little disappointed with what I got for $6 (pre-tip). The drink was not stirred so all of the mocha was at the bottom and with the straw hole in the lid the way it was it was difficult to stir the drink to disperse the mocha. The service was quick and the barista was friendly though.

We must have caught the barista on a bad day. She was terribly rude and it was our first encounter as we had just gotten to Tellruride and it kind of spoiled our whole trip. If a tourist asks you for a food recommendation when 95% of the town is shut down for the off season I highly suggest you not reply with "look online."

Absolutely amazing. We were in Telleuride only for a few days and this place was our morning staple. There was usually a line, but it moved pretty efficiently. The coffee was just outstanding. They also have a lot of cool specialty drinks. Highly recommend. Plus, you can't beat the views. Do yourself a favor and grab a coffee and then ride the gondola!

They are taking proper precautions and there is some outdoor seating. Also, I like the pay it forward option they have to buy someone a drink. The coffee was average. Wanted to grab a quick coffee and there wasn't a long line. The staff were very nice as well!

The single most enjoyable cup of coffee I have ever had. I normally get a soy- vanilla- latte... you would have thought an angel prepared this, it tasted that heavenly. anyways cute atmosphere. Its a tiny green "food truck" type setup in a courtyard off the main road. If you step on to main street you can explore local shops, eats, pet dogs (they are everywhere) and soak in amazing mountain views!!

Loved this place! What a great location with a unique and delicious menu. The place itself is adorable and so fitting, and I never had a negative experience in the many, many trips I made here over the past few days.

I hate to give a bad review to a place, but after paying $9.50 for a small latte and small hot chocolate in a town that's made for winter you'd expect something better than what we received. The hot chocolate tasted so watery that one would have thought it was made at a little league snack stand. The latte was better than that, but not by much. So disappointing.
