This pumpin’ spot in Agritopia is giving Aliso Viejo, CA vibes in the most positive way. Everyone’s in activewear, a bike group is eating breaky together, and other clusters of happy community members are meeting over some thoughtful, clean food. The cashier was attentive and caring, giving us more time to comb through the menu without rushing us. However, she got my sandwich order wrong. I had kindly asked for the tuna panini instead of the tuna sandwich. The wonderful waitress took my plate back to the kitchen and panini-pressed the sandwich—lettuce and all. It didn’t taste great, but I appreciated the gesture. The rest of my table enjoyed their food, and I was very happy with my Scotch Kiss Latte. I could taste all the flavors—Monin Butterscotch Syrup, Torani White Chocolate Sauce, espresso, and milk. It’s definitely a repeat menu item for me from now on!

The sweet was amazing, especially the churro cupcake ! It was just pefectly paired with my hot cafe Latte. Need to note the vibe too. Cozy. Friendly and peaceful especially when it was in srping. Don’t forget to take some pics at the cactus bushes. You don’t need to tell people where it was, just show the pic and they would definitely know which state you went !

Very busy all the time. This is because the food and environment is unbeatable. Starting with a GLUTEN FREE pumpkin chocolate chip scone just the right amount of sweetness. Moving on to the breakfast burritos, I got the Parker with chicken and mushroom spectacular, we also got the supreme which is DELICIOUS.

Outstanding value and a great cup of joe to go or to sip on and you don't have to spend a small fortune Very delicious I had the Mediterranean omelette 🥚🍳 🐑, house coffee ☕ and 9 grain 🌾 toast 🍞 Indoor seating for climate control or beautiful outdoor seating even in 100° temperatures here in Gilbert, Arizona! A beautiful garden with plenty of of trees and birds 🐦🐧🐧🦜🦚🦉🐥🐤🦅🕊️, just a paradise in a metropolitan desert 🏜️🏝️ !

The coffee shop is truly one of my favorites! They boast an impressive selection of coffees that cater to every taste, and their delicious sweets are the perfect complement. What really sets this place apart, though, is their extensive food menu, offering a variety of options that make it a great spot for any meal of the day. The ambiance is lovely, with several seating options both inside and outside, making it ideal for enjoying your drink in good weather. Whether you want to soak up the sun or prefer a cozy indoor setting, you’ll find a comfortable spot. While parking near the entrance can be a bit limited, there’s plenty of additional parking available just a short walk away, so it’s not a major issue. Overall, this coffee shop is a fantastic place to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

I NEVER leave reviews but my experience today was unfriendly & not welcoming. I ordered lunch for pickup, & long story short when I walk in to order I wasn’t greeted, acknowledged or assisted where to pick up my order. No worries it gets busy but fortunately I’m the only person in line. I wait patiently for about 10 min before someone even says “welcome in” or even offers me anything to try on the menu as they don’t know I’m picking up. Finally I get the acknowledgment to order. Instead of a “Hi how are you” I get a “what can I get you” This may seem small and tedious from a communication perspective but to someone who’s unfamiliar with your location or even your menu/ pickup service this pushed me away from business here. On top of all that my sandwiches & chips incorrect. You have MULTIPLE flies in your desert display. Best wishes

One of the best coffee shops in the Valley! Whether you're coming for the coffee, breakfast, lunch, or a sweet pastry treat, The Coffee Shop needs to be on your list. Located right beside Joe's Farm Grill, it's got a great vibe and has plenty of inside and outside seating. Try and snag a seat in the library/den, it's a unique spot that is tucked away on the inside. Very cool! The weekend gets super busy here but seats usually open up quick. They have a great breakfast and lunch menu. Personally, I love the Baby Got Jack breakfast sandwich and the Chicken Bacon Panini for lunch. Both are fantastic! Absolutely love the coffee here. They have a huge menu of drinks, most can be hot or iced, and they're delicious. Highly recommend the Black n White! The baristas do a great job and the service here is top notch. Can't wait to come back again!

Google
An amazing, local place to grab a quick drink, and maybe even some breakfast. This place is nearly always packed, but even with the chaotic environment, the people behind the scenes don’t fail to get food and drinks out quickly and correctly. I always add certain adjustments to my food and drinks and they always get it right. The outdoor seating area is lovely, umbrellas could use a good clean. There’s an area inside towards the back of the shop for which people can work quietly in peace, and the rest of the seating can fit 4 per table. This place has a good environment, quick staff, along with good drinks and food. A great local spot for people to come too.

Yelp
Causal coffee, breakfast, and lunch spot! This place gets very busy so go early! Must get the scones! They are so moist and one of the best scones! I heard the cupcakes are really good too so will get that next time! I got the indio panini and it was delicious! The simple garlic vinaigrette on the salad was a perfect complement to the sandwich. My husband got the supreme burrito. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. There's indoor and outdoor seating areas! Great place for family and friends meetup!

Yelp
The Coffee Shop is just that, a cute little coffee shop located in Agritopia offering speciality beverages, classic cafe offerings, pastries including gluten free and an ample line up of various flavors of Whoopie pies and quite a few brunch offerings. I've been a handful of times, as I love the entire community of shops, but only for coffee so I cannot speak for their other offerings at this time. They were bumpin this fine Sunday morning, with a majority of their tables filled with families and groups, they offer a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We weren't hanging out, but definitely be prepared for a potential wait, as it's a hot spot. My mom got one of their seasonal specials, a peaches and cream latte. My husband and I shared their other special, an iced pistachio latte ( with half syrup) Both were good, sweet as to be expected, neither I would rush back to order. They use Monin syrup, but I would love to see some homemade syrups, at least for their seasonal or special beverages. Even with a line and constant guests, they got the drinks out quickly and were staffed well! I definitely would like to try some of their pastries or brunch next time I'm in the area! Parking can be hit or miss with the area, so definitely something else to keep in mind.

Yelp
It was not super busy, but semi busy, it is a Saturday morning! There was not a terrible line or wait. There was no available seating inside, and it is very hot today so that was not the best thing. We got the banana latte and a Spanish latte. They were not bad! The banana latte is on their summer menu, there is an option to make it a banana split and add whip cream and chocolate drizzle. The Spanish latte doesn't have much flavor if it was supposed to. The coffee taste is great though!

Yelp
The place is called "the Coffee Shop" and they screwed up my coffee order! ‍ I ordered a "small cappuccino with 2% milk" and ended up with a cup with one shot of espresso in it. I let the barista know when I picked up my order and she graciously made me a cappuccino instead. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was pretty underwhelming. I also ordered a Harvest Bowl, which is a breakfast bowl with kale and quinoa. It was under seasoned (there really was no seasoning at all). Though this place seemed pretty busy, I was able to grab a table outside and enjoy the ambiance. I sat out back on the patio and the weather was lovely.

Yelp
A Benedict without an English muffin is not a Benedict! This is tofu on top of potatoes. It's not a Benedict! Benedict= English muffin. Might want to drug test the asain food runner girl. She operates at 0.5x speed. I asked for a knife as I was sitting outside and she brought a fork and had to go back to get a knife. I sat outside with my number but no one brings your drink. You have to let the birds eat it as you run inside and grab your drinks and condiments. You have majority of your seating outside-seems like something to work on. Normally food runners do this but the girl is out of it.

Yelp
I have fallen in love with this spot! Great selection of coffee drinks hot/cold! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place to have a quick coffee meeting or relax and have a work day. Great atmosphere to sit outside and read a book. They also have a good sandwich and pastry menu. Plenty of parking. Seating inside can fill up quickly but it's planting of outside seating which is great this time of year but during the summer may not be so good. It's also next door to a breakfast spot that I hear is very good but I haven't tried yet. Overall I highly recommend if your a person that like to have coffee meetings and working outside the office you should try this place! Parking 5/5 Location 5/5 Coffee 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Return Factor 5/5

Yelp
Cute spot with substantial outdoor space. I ordered the Papas Grande burrito with a side of the potatoes and a hot caramel macchiato. Burrito was a substantial portion size so much so I could only enjoy half and took the other half home. The potatoes were just the right type of crispy and seasoned very well. In addition to sandwiches, paninis, burritos and breakfast plates, they also have a variety of pastries that looked absolutely delicious.

Yelp
My and my family came here as a casual day out. My mom was returning and it was my first time. The spot is super cute and full of greenery. On cooler days it would be beautiful to sit outside as there is lots of shade too. The shop itself isn't huge but it's a cozy size. The menu is pretty big though with lots of things to try. This time around we did not try food and came for a coffee and pastry. I personally tried a peppermint white mocha coffee. It was pretty good, the peppermint was very subtle if you don't like it overly done. It's almost just an aftertaste. The coffee itself tastes more like a light roast and not too strong. I also personally tried the Oreo whoppie pie. It was pretty good. The Oreo taste itself isn't too apparent and it has a strong cream cheesy taste. I did like it, however I lowered by one star because I did find a hair in my whoopie pie. I also lowered a star because there was a fly flying around the pastry bin and landing on some stuff. I didn't notice it till returning to change out my pie. The staff was very friendly with the issue and replaced my treat immediately. They were also very apologetic which was nice. I still ate some of the new treat and enjoyed my time. Overall I would love to return here for a coffee. I don't know that I would try another treat just because it was unsanitary this time around.

Yelp
First visit was a great impression! I love the location and set up of this place. The patio is spacious and shaded with lots of greenery. The cashier was so friendly - I expressed it was my first time visiting and he immediately started giving me recommendations of his favs verses fan favs. He had a lot of knowledge of the menu. I landed on his recommendation of the Baby Got Jack - it was amazing! I believe it was THE BEST panini I've ever had. The bread had a sweet honey taste that was a perfect match with the savory bacon. I subbed the "side of greens" with their seasoned potatoes. They were tasty! To drink I got a caramel macchiato w/ oatmilk and it was great. I would love to come back to try a plate from their lunch menu sometime. Will highly recommend to family and friends!

Yelp
I'm so sad I didn't discover The Coffee Shop sooner. All these years- I could have been enjoying their coffee and friendly coffee shop ambience. I've been three times in the last month and each time I've had a great experience. Staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. There's usually enough seats to go around despite it being busy. I had their hot matcha latte and it's sooo creamy! Doesn't taste grainy or have a strange taste. It's my new fav! My kids love their bakery offerings. They've tried scones, cupcakes and coffee cakes. All have been excellent. I'll definitely be back and will continue to recommend.

Yelp
Great vibe; interior design, layout are great, and provides a nice welcoming indoor / outdoor seating atmosphere that isn't stuffy. Great coffee, I had the Spanish latte which served, Spanish and latte top notch. If you're a fan of wild cats, the grounds have a few that greet you on arrival, super cute.

Yelp
The coffee shop is always a great stop! Regardless of day of the week, there's always a line out the door. Service is always wonderful; everyone is so polite and welcoming. Dylan was super patient and helpful with menu selection and very generous and hospitable. There are a number of seating options indoors and plenty outdoors which is perfect in the cooler months. I particularly enjoy dining at the coffee shop after u-pick events or before hiking in the east Valley.

Yelp
The coffee shop is cute. Family friendly. Breakfast and pastries are really good. Coffee and drinks are not expensive. Coffee is a bit too strong for me but I get everyone has different tastes. Staff is nice throughout the day, night staff seem a little more annoyed.

Yelp
I love coming to this coffee spot. It's the perfect spot to work remotely, especially with the cozy back room that feels quiet and ideal for focus time. I often come here while my dog is at the groomer nearby, and it's such a convenient setup. The WiFi is reliable, making it a great choice for remote work. On top of that, their coffee is fantastic, and they offer a great selection of breakfasts and pastries - everything I've tried has been delicious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable spot to get some work done with great food and ambiance. Taking one star off as sometimes they out the music way louder than it needs to be in the mornings.

Yelp
Stumbled on this gem by complete accident, was in this part of town for a doctor appt and searched for "vegan friendly options". Maps was a little confusing finding this place, had me pull into parking past the restaurant. There's a burger restaurant that's farm fresh. Then this breakfast spot. Then a big barn looking building. Then a big parking lot. It all looks like 1 big shopping center. The big barn building is set up with a handful of businesses inside of it like a shopping center. You can park in this parking lot and walk thru it to the breakfast place if you can't find parking. This breakfast spot is insanely busy with long lines. There is outdoor area in back with trees and it's so beautiful. Inside seating and some small table options in the front. You place your order - take a sign with a number and place on your table. No one told us that they deliver your food to your table but you have to go up and grab your drinks though. To the right of the register is the espresso machines - and to the right of that is where people were grabbing their "to go" drinks. It's been years since I could have eggs Benedict - they have vegan version - and actual real vegan meals to choose from. Lots of options. Tons of pastries to choose from but not as much for vegan. Everything was delicious. They were quick and efficient with everything. Busy atmosphere. But I'd go again :)

Yelp
I really like the coffee shop- although I can't speak for their coffee! But I love the food here! Service is usually good and fast although I wish they had a better spot for the line, as it often blocks the door and is in the way of some table. I really enjoy their omelette and scrambles. I tried their tofu Benedict this time and the tofu and potatoes were great, but the hollandaise sauce was a little salty for my taste.

Yelp
I've been coming to the coffee shop for at least 18 years. I grew up in this neighborhood and this coffee shop / restaurant is and always will be a staple. Great food and the ambiance is a 10/10. I will never not enjoy this place. Service is always a 10/10 as well. Thank you!

Yelp
This place is always packed but worth a wait. Love coming here with my kids, so many options for food and sweet treats. Service is so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Baby got jack was delicious with the bacon, pepper jack and the chipotle mayo. We got an element black tea and Spanish latte both drinks were good. The garden seating area is always cozy and perfect to just relax and chat after eating. Don't forget to bring home a scrumptious treat, whoopie, scone or cupcake or enjoy dessert first like I do!

Yelp
Came in at the same time as the local men's formula one club having a morning coffee meeting. Could this be the same group Jimi encountered in France!?!!! Important to note that there is a special section here for laptop users since they refuse to disconnect and be present in the real world. 5 stars

Yelp
What a cute spot! Was visiting some friends from out of town and decided to head here. We were next door grabbing breakfast, but they only had your basic black coffee and I was craving an iced latte as I usually do. My friend who frequents this spot since it's in her neighborhood said I should go online and order it ahead and we could just walk over to grab it. So that's what we did! Took all my friends' orders and it was that simple. Placed the order online and then in about ten minutes we walked over. I'm glad we placed the order online because this place was POPPIN! The line was out the door wrapped around the building, and every table was taken and people were waiting for their orders. We had to wait a little bit because it was so busy, but they did such a great job at making sure we got all our coffees and even asked if we wanted a drink carrier, too, which was so nice. I of course had to give them a cash tip because they really were working hard. The coffee was delightful and I really enjoyed it! Definitely better than just the black coffee I was going to get at the other breakfast spot. Love that it's right around the corner. Also, not too far away is a really cute farmish area and you can grab coffee and walk around there, too! Obsessed with this area. Definitely would recommend grabbing a coffee with a friend here, but maybe weekdays are a bit slower than the weekends. Super cute overall and I would definitely come back!

Melody J.

Yelp
Beautiful setting like a park in the back. Great service and service. I love the atmosphere and the park like feeling when you eat outside and here the birds.

Jenn K.

Yelp
Yuck... for a place that generates so much revenue, they should consider a few upgrades to stop the flies. There were flies EVERYWHERE inside. Inside the pastry case crawling all over the pastries. Next to all the windows and subsequently next to the tables for seating. And flying around and landing on everyone's food. We stayed long enough to get our coffee and BOUNCED! Air curtains are cheap and would make this place a much more desirable (and clean) place to eat. And perhaps adding some misters outside would also help with the pests and add some cooling effect to the outdoor seating, since indoor seating is limited. All the above being said, coffee tastes great. It's constantly crowded here, so use the mobile app the order ahead. Or consider walking down to Garage East who has misters and nice outdoor seating and great coffee as well and much quieter.
google avatar

Stan K.

Yelp
This place is wonderful, the food is delicious, it's priced at a good value. The place is crowded. It probably can seat 80 to 100 people and they're always align of 10 to 25 people at the counter waiting to place their order. We love the waffles. We love the American breakfast. This place is a winner and a terrific value.
google avatar

Jordan H.

Yelp
Possibly the best coffee shop in the Phoenix area for an iced chai! So delicious, creamy, and spicy. Their cupcakes are to die for and their omelets for breakfast are so delicious. It's always busy, but the people at the counter are nice and quick. Beautiful decor inside and a great outdoor space for any size party. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by!
google avatar

Blanche G.

Yelp
I enjoyed having this coffee shop near us when I used to live in the neighborhood. This place looked a bit like a European cafe from the outside in the front and the patio area at the back. I liked that they not only had a lot of options for coffee, tea, and juices, but they also had options for bakeries, breakfast, and brunch food. I liked ordering their iced Americano, especially paired with their baked desserts. Their food was good, but it could be a little bit pricey if you come here on a daily basis. The only complaint that I had was the ordering system could be a bit tricky. I experienced multiple times losing my coffee orders and I had to ask the barista to double check. I under this place was trying to make the ordering experience more friendly and at-home so the server would ask for your name and call your name once the drinks were ready. However, perhaps having a digital screen or some sort that streamlines the process could put everyone on the same page. However, I do recognize that being the only coffee shop nearby was part of the reason why this place was always crowded and under-delivered. Hopefully, with more coffee shops opening up, the flow will be better nowadays.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious food with the friendliest Staff in the most adorable space!! Definitely a must if you're in the area!! Very work friendly, so if you want to bring your laptop and have an amazing cup of coffee while you type away!

Yelp
We sort of fell into this place - what a delightful surprise. The space is great - indoor, outdoor, back comfy room -you're covered. The food and coffee was really good. We both eyed the bakery case and regretted not picking up one of the cupcakes!! Finally, the staff were terrific. Nice, friendly, patient - what else could you want?!!

Yelp
Amazing selection of baked goods! Clean shop, friendly staff, and great place to meet up with friends. There's always a line, so pro tip: order online! I got to skip the long Saturday line and pick up my goodies in 15 min!

Yelp
Love this place!! Great coffee, and excellent food, I love coming here for breakfast. The staff is always kind and helpful, Jasmine helped us out today and she couldn't have been better. The breakfast burrito is a 10/10, a must try!

Yelp
One of the many great coffee shops in Gilbert. Coffee is good and it's a nice spot to hang out and get some work done.

Yelp
This was such a nice spot to go catch up with friends, get a coffee, and a little grub for brunch! We loved this little spot and it was so cute. The pastries were also delicious and they had numerous vegan options too! Would love to go back next time we're in Gilbert!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was good and the portions are great as well! I'm personally not a fan of the Fritos but I'll switch it out next time. Definitely a good place for brunch, will try their other food and drink options on my next visit!

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm here up to 4 times a week. The ambiance is perfect. Both indoor and outdoor options. I like to remotely work here & their food and pastries are yummy! The only downside is (and I haven't found the guts to just tell them in person) that they have TONS of flies everywhere. I'm not even exaggerating... there are so many flies inside and out. There hasn't been one time that I attend that flies are constantly bothering. I wish they had more fly traps or something to help control this at least indoors. They even had small flies inside their water container, that was the only time I approached them and asked if they could change the water. Other than that I do truly love this place. I truly hope they add fly traps or something to help control it.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop. I was surprised at the variety of food they offer! They have sandwiches, scones, cupcakes, salads, and drinks. The vanilla lavender latte and peppermint white mochas are delicious! The employees are so sweet. We came in last week about 5 min before closing, not realizing they were closing and they were so gracious to make us our drinks!!

Yelp
Breakfast burritos and BLTs for the win plus we love their coffees! All of this with a beautiful farm setting and wonderful employees!

Yelp
The Coffee Shop in Gilbert was a cute little cafe located in the suburban farm setting in the Agritopia neighborhood. They had been featured on the Food Network TV show Cupcake Wars. As I walked through the door, I was greeted by a lively atmosphere and the sight of food and coffee. However, none of their home-run creations, such as the Boston Cream and Chocolate Marshmallow cupcakes, were available at the time of my visit. Plus the employee didn't even know that the owners won the competition! C'mon get it together! The employee didn't have an alternative cupcake suggestion nor had any idea of when they would be available. Maybe management needs to brief them before opening first thing in the morning. They should really be advertising those cupcakes because I sure would love to try them. I wish I could give them 5 stars. The only reason why I have to knock down 1 star is that none of the cupcakes were available. I drove all the way here in search of their winning creations, and I was a little dismayed when I arrived here with no answer. Would I return? Maybe or maybe not. It depends if they make them available. I'd probably call first to see before driving all the way over here. The coffee was okay though! Strong enough to curl your hair.

Yelp
The vibe of this place is amazing! Full of people but not overly congested. I ordered a mocha and lemon blueberry scone. Drink was a good balance of coffee and chocolate. Not overwhelmingly sweet. My scone, however, tasted flavorful but was a little under cooked. The middle was pretty mushy so I'm not sure I'd order another. Nonetheless I'd recommend the place.
google avatar

Mandy C.

Yelp
The ice latte was good. We got chorizo & egg breakfast burrito, imperial omelette and blueberry lemon scone. The portion was good and tasted was ok. The vibe was great, a lot of people were using their computers at the common area. It is a good place to chill.

Yelp
The coffee and food were so good! I got the scotch kiss latte with an extra shot and a veggie panini! Everything was amazing and I can't wait to go back. I wish I had tried the pastries but the food was so filling!

Yelp
Instagrammable coffee shop. Has not only coffee but a huge variety of breakfast and lunch options. There is a farm nearby. Dress up if you want to take pics in a farmhouse kind of setup.

Yelp
We met some friends for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It opens at 8am so it was quite busy when we got there, but easy enough to find a table. It's like eating breakfast in a backyard. You can also choose to eat indoors if you prefer! This is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter. You can also order online which is what we did from our table. My only suggestion would be to allow guests to state if they are eating in the restaurant or taking it to go. We received our meals in styrofoam containers which made me feel bad for being so wasteful. I saw others with their meals on plates and those were clearly those who ordered at the counter. The food was delicious and served quickly. I ordered the veggie scramble with potatoes on the side. I'd definitely recommend both. My vanilla chai was also super delicious. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Yelp
Awesome spot! Coffee, food, farm, shops & plenty of walking. Will definitely be back for more here. Totally recommend you come check this place out with your family & friends.

Yelp
I can't espresso how much I love The Coffee Shop. There's a latte to love! Let's start with the location. It's charming. Located in Agritopia, there's plenty of outdoor garden seating as well as indoor seating. The space is cool and inviting. Parking is easy. My go-to order is a honey cinnamon oat milk latte. I like my latte to taste like there's honey, but not be overly sweet and theirs is perfectly balanced. I've ordered it a few times and they get it right each time. Love a place that's consistent! Their pastries are so tempting! It takes everything in me not to order a cupcake or whoopie pie everytime I come in. I've tried one of the donuts and it was very satisfying. I will have to try a cupcake soon. Afterall, the owner is a Food Network Cupcake Wars winner. I love a good fish taco, and they seem to be very proud of theirs so I will have to try that as well!

Yelp
The "updated" rule that laptop users are no longer permitted to sit at tables (reserved for families) is very off putting. Be it, you have single party guests still sitting at tables, but being they don't have a laptop (2 different old men reading a magazine) that's permitted? Was a fave, but they can screw off with their new policy.

Yelp
I've spent so much time and money here over the many many years, and wish they had stock - I'd be a part owner by now. I love it, my dog loves it, my parents love it, the guy down the street loves it. The coffee shop is simply essential to a well caffeinated lifestyle.

Yelp
So super cute! They were a little bit disorganized, and forgot one of our orders, but the coffee tasted really good once we received it. Super adorable place to meet up with friends or if you need to work on your computer and you're lucky enough to find a table, an adorable little coffee shop!

Yelp
Recently discovered this place and it's wonderful. I've tried several different breakfast dishes and they are all very tasty. It's always super busy but there's never a delay in the food coming out. Not a fan of ordering at the counter, I prefer table service because there are not always tables available especially on the weekends.
