Part cafe, part community venue by the creek with late hours most days. Hosts circles, talks, and small performances; a very Boulder blend of caffeine and civic life that locals use as a third place.

This coffee shop is so cute. It feels cozy and peaceful. We absolutely loved stopping here. The baristas were super nice and helpful. The drinks were delicious and hand whisked. We ended up trying a pastry and it was warmed to perfection and delicious. I highly recommending! The parking is a bit rough bc they only have a few spots up front and they stay quite busy. They had a cute small business market happening when we went.

Super cute coffee shop! Sat in the open air patio, surrounded by sweet plants and an amazing eclectic style. I had a Dandelion Mushroom drink which was delicious, and the service was fantastic! They also offer real cups, which makes me happy. I was not able to try their Famous South African Hand Pies, just due to timing, but I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this quaint little spot - I'm in love!

This shop has a great sitting area with a comfortable atmosphere. Whether you want to read a book, sit with your friends, or work on a computer, the sitting area provides a peaceful vibe to do it all. My family and I had a great time while we were here visiting!

Loving This

Best smoothies in the universe, cozy eclectic atmosphere, community focused, righteous mission. From heart, appreciating the space they provide, nourishing all to a whole new elevation.

Used to be a regular, but lately the drinks haven’t been great. Today they were especially bad and we ended up tossing both. Very bitter coffee and spoiled tasting milk. Tasted nothing like what we usually get. I understand that they were very busy but having both drinks taste horrible was the final straw. Very lovely atmosphere though, but definitely not the best drinks around.

Unique little coffee shop just south of the CU campus. You’ll definitely get the “Boulder” experience. I had the peppermint mocha, their holiday special. The barista was very nice, cozy little place. Parking is a little funky. Nice change of pace from the usual chain coffee shops.

I dine in yet my order was wrong. SO MANY flies while trying to eat or drink a coffee. Probably the location is the only reason people chose to come. Other reviews are right, barista is rude

I visited this café last week to try it out, and overall, my experience started off well. However, when I went to order my coffee, I encountered an issue with the barista. She was somewhat rude to me, which I initially dismissed as her having a bad day. However, I noticed that she was exceptionally polite to other customers, making it clear that I was the only one receiving this treatment. Aside from this, the café itself was decent, though I found the coffee to be overpriced for the portion size (Starbucks offers larger cups). Unfortunately, I can't fairly assess the taste of the coffee, as it was not brewed correctly, which resulted in a poor experience. While I don’t want to make any assumptions, a coworker who was with me observed the situation and mentioned that it seemed as though I was being singled out. Given that I have brown skin and the other customers, including my coworkers, were white, I couldn’t help but feel that her behavior may have been racially motivated. That said, I do not believe the establishment itself is at fault, but I do hope that all staff members, including this particular barista, strive to treat every customer with the same level of respect and kindness.

Yelp
A lovely and warm coffee spot just off CU campus. If you aren't much into cofee they make a great hot chocolate as well! Very friendly service!

Yelp
Really enjoyed my apple chai, but my husbands opinion he said it's more of a "local vibe" and they have too big of a menu. Good seasonal selection and yummy homemade food!

Yelp
Excellent homemade syrups. They make a great latte! It's a quirky little space with open space to sit and relax.

Yelp
Great little find in Boulder! Lovely staff and quaint ambiance to enjoy a coffee and snack

Yelp
Bad service. Took 15 minutes for a shot of espresso and matcha, was subpar. Not worth it

Yelp
This place is gives off a nice vibe, with the plants and decor. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were overpriced and very low quality, and the employees were not friendly (to say the least). The order also took a long time to arrive, despite me being the only one there.

Yelp
Super quaint little place with a beautiful view & super friendly service! We stopped in while visiting and enjoyed the time we spent here. We would definitely come back again if ever in the area!

Yelp
Stopped by The Coffee Stand after a morning hike up in Boulder. It is such a cute coffee shop with good vibes, great coffee and friendly baristas. There were some food options which was a welcome treat after a long hike, and opted for a fresh and delicious blueberry muffin! There are some tables and chairs on the patio for outside seating but what amazed me was the inside! So you have the café, but then right next to it, and attached is The Stand, a large space full of work stations, cozy seating and conversation corners. You are surrounded by lots of plants, eclectic décor and large open garage doors to let the outside in. I'll definitely be back here after my next hike!

Yelp
My wife and I always like checking out local coffee shops; drove past this after a hike on a Sunday afternoon and decided to give it go. We were confused by the parking as some signage indicated it was specifically for the stand, while other signs warn of private parking only or risk of being towed- there was only one space open with this sign so we took the chance as it was a very small area with easy visibility from the shop so we could ask once inside. We walked in and instantly it felt SO uncomfortable although with no particular reason so I was a bit baffled. There were 2 little girls playing in the small walkway, 2 teen boys sitting at a table keeping to themselves, and a woman behind the counter who did not offer even a hello. We greeted and asked if it was OK where we parked and she looked at us as though we were crazy, but said yes. I looked over the menu and inquired about their lions mane honey and if she knew how it was made, and her response was simply that they do not have any more today. A few steps further inside there was a door ajar for an events area; all I could see at first were young children but then some adults so I wasn't sure if this was an odd daycare or some kind of church or cult event. My wife ordered a small plain iced coffee (over $3) and I chose to order nothing given the complete lack of welcome or insight; absolutely zero customer service. There is a small bathroom for customers only- it was very messy and unkept and made me question the sanitation behind the counter; would have preferred to have peed at the trailhead bathroom. Also, the lock didn't work and some woman appeared from the other room and almost opened the door while my wife was in there without even a knock (I stopped her). I have been in Colorado for 3+ years and this is the most uncomfortable I have felt at a place of business. I'm still unclear the reasoning - is it because we're gay? Smelly from hiking? They don't like the color shirt I was wearing ? No idea but not willing to return.

Yelp
Unfortunately every time I have been here the service just wasn't great whatsoever... Also the drinks are kinda "mediocre at best". There's just nothing special about this place to me other than how adorable the outside/general aesthetic. Much better options here in Boulder!

Yelp
Great food! They make everything in house and have some really unique things. Will be returning again. Also a relaxed environment in the lounge area that I've taken to studying in.

Yelp
I don't really mind spending $7-9 on a coffee just because that's reality. I got a 12oz matcha latte with vanilla added and my friend got a 16oz almond milk latte. Both were simply bland and tasted bad. The matcha had chunks of matcha powder in it, lacked any flavor or rich green color that it was supposed to have, and didn't have a sweetness from the vanilla. My friend described the flavor of the almond milk latte as that of sewer water. It lacked the flavor of espresso which I don't know how that's possible. The place was cute though, next time I would skip it and go elsewhere.

Yelp
I love that the Coffee Stand is host to various music and spoken word events in the evenings. They have good coffee, Christy, and baked goods. The staff preparing the beverages and serving the food are great. This is a place with potential. 3.5 stars is my rating for now.

Yelp
This morning I made my first visit the the Coffee Stand. It is very small with some outdoor seating available on warmer days. The business is attached to another space with additional seating and plants from what I saw. The Coffee Stand (or Farm and Coffee Stand) is partnered with Longmont Dairy. The service was fine, though I noticed on the electronic pay station the tipping options went up to 30% which I believe is too much. I do not need suggestions for gratuity. Most important however, was the coffee itself. The latte has a weird taste to it; maybe lavender or another less common ingredient is added; not sure, but I did not drink it. I did not like the latte, but did enjoy a friendly dog who made his way between the three tables and the counter seeking affection.

Yelp
Cute place, but once inside the coffee ordering area is super tiny. Person behind the counter had headphones on and was wiping and ignoring me. Not welcoming and not asking what I would like to order. I noticed a half open door leading to another area and people standing so I thought maybe I have to go over there to order. Wrong! The door also had an events calendar on it , but I didn't see any events listed. It was a Sunday afternoon, but felt super weird. They were all standing and doing some sort of prayer. I can't find anything about why they would be meeting there. Is the coffee stand part of a church? Anyways, I just wanted a coffee and to use the restroom (I didn't see one) this place did not have welcoming vibes. I rushed out of there to go stick with Starbucks. I love to support local small businesses, but not if they don't want me there.

Yelp
This place is so cute! It's in an old garage that has been converted into a gallery with local art, cool furniture to sit on, vintage bikes, and beautiful flowers. I had the lavender matcha and it was amazing! This place is definitely underrated.

Yelp
My favorite place to sit and work and meet people. Next to the river, full of plants and great books and people. Great food and coffee. Great owners and employees! Amazing range of events happening also. Hidden gem favorite!

Jessie B.

Yelp
Good coffee and cute vibes! I like that you can actually park here, it's much more accessible than some of the coffee shops on pearl

Yelp
What I appreciate about the Coffee Stand most is that they are a true local community hub. As Boulder changes in many ways, the coffee stand is a refuge of real humanity.. and also the food & drinks are great
