The Collins

If you’re looking for a great community, I highly recommend The Collins. The community is in a centralized area (easy access to both interstates/grocery/food), grounds are well kept, there’s monthly events that the office hosts, and I love that the buildings are gated (that’s what stood out to me the most). When I was looking for somewhere to move 3 months ago, I was stressed and on edge. However Julia and Stephanie helped me throughout the application and move-in process, which was smooth and they kept reassuring me that I’d enjoy living at The Collins. I had a noise concern after about a month in & Julia was quick to respond/resolve my concern. Anytime I call or email with a question she’s quick to respond, which I greatly appreciate. She’s very nice, informative and you can tell that she cares about her tenants/the community. Chris, the Assistant Manager, is amazing as well. He always has a smile and full of energy. The Maintenance Team (Jaylen, Junior and Anthony) are all amazing too! They respond to work orders in a timely manner and always provide you with a call when they’re coming out to complete them. Anytime I go into the office, it’s always laughs and smiles from everyone. I really appreciate everything they’ve done for me thus far.

Tour Review - I toured here with Julia (community manager) in April, and had a great experience. The community was well kept, it's near shoppes, and I loved the layouts of both floor plans I looked at. Julia was a great guide, and was very helpful in answering all of my questions. She was also understanding when I advised that my move was a few months away, and I was uncertain whether I wanted to make any immediate decisions. I ended up moving in to another community, solely based on location, but if I decided to move to the Steele Creek area in the future, I'd definitely consider living here!

I’ve had a great experience with the maintenance team at The Collins! Every time I’ve submitted a request, they’ve responded quickly—usually within 24 hours or less. The staff is professional, courteous, and really knows what they’re doing. Whether it’s been a minor fix or a larger repair, the work has always been done thoroughly and efficiently. It’s clear they care about keeping the property well-maintained and residents happy. Big thanks to Jaylen for making apartment living so much easier and stress-free!

I don’t normally do reviews but I will this one and only time. The Collins is the best place I lived in charlotte. Property Manager Julia is freaking awesome!!! 10/10! Super Clean property! The office make the living experience great including maintenance. Never had any major issues.

Huge shoutout to the maintenance team! Especially Jaylen and Junior. They both are always happy to help fix any issues. Junior helped fix the heater when it went off during the winter and even let us borrow heaters just in case it went out during the night. Jaylen helped fixed all the issues I had when I first moved in and my smoke detector twice. The front office staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend living here !

If you are looking for a place to call home… GO TO THE COLLINS!!! Ask for Denise, Halley, or Antria! They are absolutely amazing and have gone above and beyond for me and my family. I could never thank them enough for all of their help and support from inquiring about a home all the way to move in and I am CONFIDENT they will continue to be the same throughout our time here. ❤️

Julia was an amazing consultant. She helped us out even on her day off in acquiring our apartment. Talk about top notch service. I’m so glad we came to the Collins.
