Cuisine at Boulder Restaurant Will Range From Italian to Thai - Eater Denver

"Restaurateurs Bradford Heap and Carole Vilate are opening their latest venture, Pepper the Noshery, aiming to do more than just serve humane and sustainably sourced food. Using practices learned from running Wild Standard, they focus on protecting against over-harvesting of the seas by offering a menu with a small seafood selection and vegetable-forward dishes made with organic, GMO-free ingredients. The menu, crafted by Roy Benningfield, ranges from Italian to Thai, featuring items like mussels with tomato or Thai coconut curry broth, Buffalo cauliflower bites, 'Taste of Spring,' and miso cod. Pepper will open on July 18, at 1043 Pearl Street in Boulder and will operate daily for dinner, with happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m." - Erin Perkins

Cool new bar with a chill atmosphere and great service. Flatbreads reign supreme on party pickings but sadly disappointed with the Caesar salad w/chicken strips. If there was a competition to make the least flavorful chicken strips, this place would be GOATed. The salad was average at best, and the criticism is sincere as this place was pretty bussin on a Friday and well deserved! The rest of the food was enjoyed by my party such as the brisket, sausage plate, & flatbread. Keep up the great atmosphere n service!

Wow! I haven’t been on the Pearl street mall for years. I made a reservation for a large group for dinner. We were accommodated and the service was absolutely amazing along with great food and drinks. My husband had the Cubano sandwich which he loved and believe me he’s picky. What a wonderful experience. Oh and live music too. Thank you Colorado Club for an awesome night on the town! Highly recommend them!!

Our party of 6 went to watch opening night of NFL. Manager told us he was not allowed to turn sound on for the game. Strange for a place that touts itself as a great place to watch sports. There were only 2 other patrons in the place and they were there to watch the game too. 4 servers on duty but were mostly standing around. We seemed to be ignored. Had to flag down a server to order. Drink orders took a long time while we watched the 2 bartenders doing nothing until we prompted the server. Our initial food order-fried pickles-$9-literally looked like one pickle sliced into 5 pieces. We had come to drink, eat dinner and watch the game. When it became apparent that service was getting worse we spoke to the manager, asked to cancel our order and that we wanted to pay for our initial drinks and pickle. He told us to just leave, Very disappointing. It's an attractive place with a good location- just very poorly run.

This is the place we have all been waiting for in Boulder! The gorgeously inviting atmosphere is perfect for families, business and all around good time. The food was amazing but definitely get a flatbread, no matter how full you are! The service was top notch and I can’t wait to spend every Sunday here come football season! Also…check out the speakeasy….you’re welcome;)

When I dined at The Colorado Club, Jade gave incredible service. She gave great recommendations on food and beverage. We settled on a Fig, Brie and prosciutto flatbread. It was delicious! Will be returning!!

Google
There shouldn’t even be a star for service, we waited 45 mins for our food another 15 minutes for our drinks, when I ordered a Coors light draft they brought out the first one, when I ordered a second one they said they don’t have coors light draft basically lying to our faces, the. When our food finally came out my wife’s Cuban was cold the cheese wasn’t even melted, they gave me blue cheese with my wings I ordered ranch. I gagged when I took a bite. I told the server and she said she would be right back. It took over 15 mins we decided to leave. The manager has no idea what he is doing when we cashed out One of the worst restaurant experiences.

Yelp
Came here after exploring Pearl Street with some friends and had such a nice experience. Usually, I don't have high expectations from bar food, but I really enjoyed the food we had here and the atmosphere. It was perfect for watching a Sunday football game and hanging with friends. We had the fried pickles and nachos, I'm not personally a pickle fan, but the group seemed to like them. We shared the Smashburger and the fig and prosciutto flatbread for our main course, and I was truly impressed. The burger was delicious and the flatbread was so unique with such a flavorful combination of toppings. I'm a sucker for fig and brie cheese, so it was an easy choice. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Boulder!

Yelp
This is the first time we've been that I couldn't give 5 stars. My husband and I love this place. We went on Sunday for some wings and a Cubano sandwich as it has been one of the best around. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy. We got our appetizer wings at the same time as our Cubano even though we let the server know we were Shari g an appetizer and sharing a sandwich. The fries were barely above warm, the sandwich had all the meat thrown in the middle, one side of the bread was too toasted and there was only pickle on one half of the sandwich. We had to ask for a pickle slice for the other half. The wings were hot and delicious but the blue cheese sauce was watery and not very flavorful. Because we've always had great food and service here, we will try again but inconsistent food and service is frustrating. There are televisions all along one side of the restaurant for watching sports which is great but the volume was really loud. I hope they get the kinks worked out because they can do a great job here. I didn't take pictures because the presentation was not picture worthy. But here are some past pics.

Yelp
We got 3 items: Happy hour chicken strips Flatbread pizza Boulder nachos The chicken strips were legit chicken, not questionable like other places I've been to in the past. 7/10 We got the pepperoni/hot honey flatbread oizza. Crust was fantastic. Pizza was honestly better than most restaurants that specialize in it. Easy 10/10 Nachos were great! Plenty of toppings, lots of chips. Easy shareable if you're here for just drinks. Wait staff was attentive and kind. Margaritas were STIFF!!! Definitely one of the best on pearl.

Yelp
We sat out on the patio and the Colorado weather did not disappoint! The burger was amazing and had great flavor! Someone in my group got the chicken tenders and did not enjoy the breading. Unfortunately the service to us on the patio was not good. The server did not come out much and it felt like we were an inconvenience.

Yelp
We came here looking for a new place to eat. Dylan was our server and was great. We ordered burgers, a chicken sandwich, and fried pickles. Everything was great!! We will be back for sure.

Yelp
Best nachos ever! Layered. Crisp chips. Cheese all the way to the bottom! Highly recommended.

Yelp
So good! Stopped in on a whim. Margarita was... STRONG. Which I appreciate. Flatbread with hot honey... so good. Nachos delivered. And chicken tenders were legit and not the frozen stuff you get. Don't live in Colorado or else this would be a staple for sure!
