They have a happy hour on Tuesdays whole night. It was a pleasant surprise. Their bartenders are nice. I was not too hungry and meatballs were a perfect size for me. It seemed to be good for big parties too.

This place has a super cool atmosphere, patio seating that opens up into a general space where there is a concert venue. Food was good and they have weekly specials every night. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had the cutest brunch with the kiddos for 4th of july this morning!!! We had a few lunch/brunch items, the breakfast tacos were great and the kids loved the wings. To my surprise they were having a special for today with these cute little popsicle margaritas which was a great mixture of sweet and sour. Our server was also in the fourth of july spirit and was very attentive to us, the food came out very quickly and our drinks were never empty. Overall our experience was great, if you are in the area i recommend you check it out! Very kid friendly, lots of things for the kids to do aswell right outside the restaurant patio!

I had the pleasure of being served by the best waitress LB at Common Table. She was the definition of exceptional. From the moment I wes seated, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She anticipated my needs, gave great recommendations, and made the entire dining experience feel personalized and thoughtful. It’s rare to find someone who brings so much positive energy and professionalism to the table (literally!). Her service elevated our visit and made us want to come back not just for the food—but for her. If you’re lucky enough to have LB as your server, you’re in for a great experience. We are new in McKinney and we were pleasantly surprised. Wings and sweet potato were amazing, the Buffalo sauce is super tasty. Husband ordered some ahi tuna tacos which were quite small and pasta, that was delicious. My only regret is the lava cake is not a lava cake, but everything else was super nice.

We had an awesome experience at The Common Table in McKinney, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jordan. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. We were there to catch the football game, and he made sure we were seated with a good view and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. Even with the game on and the place starting to fill up, Jordan stayed on top of everything making sure our drinks were never empty and that we had everything we needed. His energy, attention to detail, was genuine. The food was excellent, the drinks were solid, and the atmosphere had just the right amount of energy for a game day brunch. Jordan absolutely made our visit. If you’re planning to catch a game, hang with friends, or just want a great brunch spot ask for him. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was dope, but service was top notch. Brooke did a great job. Ask for her and get the shrimp appetizer, can't go wrong with either.

We came to The Common Table on a Wednesday night, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The space is intimate and cozy, creating a warm atmosphere for dinner or drinks. The only downside was that it happened to be trivia night. While some might enjoy that kind of energy, it's not really our thing--but that's just a personal preference. We sat at the bar and were lucky to be taken care of by an incredible bartendress. She was not only attentive but also engaging, holding a lovely conversation with us throughout the evening. When I asked for a recommendation, she suggested an off-the-menu dish: redfish with Parmesan risotto. Let me just say, it was absolutely phenomenal. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the risotto was creamy and flavorful--an amazing combination. My husband ordered the fish and chips. While he felt the fish was a bit overdone, he still enjoyed the dish overall. As someone who doesn't eat condiments, he skipped the tartar sauce, but I gave it a try and found it delicious. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu. Highly recommend stopping by--especially if trivia night is your jam!

Dylan is my favorite bartender here. The ONE thing anyone wants from a bartender is conversation and she is so good at interacting with her guests. I'll be back just for her company. And the happy hour. The happy hour here is the best I've found in the area. And thank you common table for support others in the service industry with the SI menu. We appreciate you.

We walked in and were seated immediately. The ambiance was chill yet hip. They had some good music playing, football on the tvs and I really liked the variety of photos of music artists. Our waitress was really nice and helpful when they messed up my order. Cajun chicken 7/10: Two of the orders came out cold and had to be sent back and mine came out without the grits. But our waitress got all that taken care of. Flavor wise it was decent. The chicken was cooked well and the grits weren't stiff. Chicken and waffles 8/10: person enjoyed this dish overall. No real complaints. The portion was a decent size and the chicken had ok flavor.

First time at this location, enjoyed this one more than the Frisco location. Service was great, our server was attentive and present. The smash burger and country fried ribeye were both great! This casual spot is both comfy and vibrant.

Last night, my son and I decided to embark on a culinary adventure at Common Table in McKinney. It's a local American restaurant with a twist. We were super hungry, but rather than order a full meal, we skipped the main courses and dove straight into the world of appetizers, and boy, was it a delicious journey! First up, we shared the chicken bacon and avocado quesadillas. It was like a harmonious marriage between a chicken and an avocado, officiated by a tortilla. Next, we tackled the chicken wings, which my son devoured with the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning. I swear, if those wings had been any better, they might have flown off the plate! The bang bang shrimp was our next conquest. It was so good, it had us doing a little happy dance in our seats, I think I may dream about the bang bang shrimp. But the real star of the evening was the chicken philly egg rolls. They were so amazing. . They came with a mellow dip that was awesome. I briefly considered proposing to them. If only they came with a diamond ring instead of dipping sauce! The service was top-notch, with our server being as attentive as a hawk eyeing its prey. The only hiccup in our otherwise perfect evening was the Cabernet, which was served cold. I mean, who knew wine could get the chills? In summary, this restaurant is a gem, it has a great feel to it, and removed you from McKinney and puts you in a zone or musical scenery and fun. The appetizers are so good, they might just make you forget about the main course. Just remember to bring a sweater for your wine!

Went there for lunch, not too busy. Had $20 fish and chips. Had tough time cutting it with knife because fish must have been frozen when deep fried because center was still cold and rubbery. Ordered $16 burger as replacement. But whole process extended my lunch. Paid for the burger but they did take the fish off the bill.

Came in for a late lunch, stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Then decided to sit in one of the open tables for another 10-15 minutes without anyone helping us. The restaurant was half empty and employees were walking around, interacting with each other and ignoring us. We left without being spoken to.

This is a vibey brunch spot for sure! Most of their menu is drinks. They have pretty cool mimosa towers you can get too! The music is great and they even have a dj. Everyone working was very friendly. We ordered an app of wings and then the chicken and waffles, short rib hash and then mimosas with 1 bottle house Champagne and pineapple juice. The food took a long time and they got my order wrong. They brought me out the blackened chicken with cheesy grits instead if the short rib hash. I tried it and i found it to be underwhelming. The grits didnt have any flavor and the chicken was just ok. The wings we got extra crispy with asian sauce. They were light on sauce and it was like white people asian - maybe. Not great. I tried a bite of the chicken and waffles my friend ordered and it was ok, not great. My short rib hash that eventually came out was really really good. I had a weird interaction with our server. Normally when a place makes the wrong food or drink they ask you if you want to keep it since they have to toss it anyway. Our server was like no i have to take it. I didn't think it was great but i would have eaten it later instead of having it thrown out. Anyway, i just thought that was weird and kind of shady. I got a free birthday shot so that was fun.

Love this spot! We have been here a few times during HH and they have AWESOME specials. In fact, part of me wants to go today because of the weather (12/8/2023 at 75 DEGREES?!?!) Ambiance - 5/5 - I have never been inside haha. We take our pup and sit outside. There is a turf area for the kids, so we go out there afterwards. There are other places to eat in this area as well. Staff - 5/5 - Very friendly, courteous and timely. They make sure we are good to go. Food/Drink - What we ordered: Drinks - Smoke & Mirrors - $7 HH - 5/5 - Comes out in with a glass lid on top to preserve the smoke. Great presentation and even better flavor. Must get if you are a drinker. Food - Daily Flatbread - $7 - Hopefully you go on a meat day, but can't beat a $7 flatbread. Chicken Quesadillas - $7 - 5/5 - HUGE Portion. Must get. Garlic Knot Chicken Parm Sliders - $7 - 3/5 - For the kiddos. Usually dry each time. Pretzel Bites - $7 - 4/5 - Nothing special, but recommend if you are a pretzel lover. Meatball - $7 - 4/5 - Wished it was a little bit bigger, but I do recommend. Chicken Philly Egg Rolls - $7 - 4.5/5 - Philly Steak egg roll style. I recommend. Ahi Tuna Tacos - $8 - 5/5 - Highly Recommend. Fried Pickles - $4 - 5/5 - nothing special. But CHEAP. Haven't went yet, but on Thursday is AYCE wings. Will need to check that out one day. I will upload their menu and additional food pics next time I am here. Because I will be coming back for sure.

We had great dinner! Started with the meatballs, pretzel bites and theegg rolls. Each was very flavorful. My husband had naked and famous cocktail and I had the aviation gin with club soda instead of ginger. We each had the salmon, our friends had the healthy chicken and the Cajun chicken & frites. The restaurant was nicely decorated and not crowded when we arrived just after 7 on a Friday. But by the time we left, it was packed. It was very loud and hard to carry on a conversation. Overall, this was a great outing and I highly recommend it!

Popped in on a Wednesday for a snack since I've been wanting to check this place out since they opened. The first vibe was that it was definitely more of a nighttime place to go. Service was slow even with one other couple there besides us. Our waiter, don't know his name because he didn't introduce himself, was inpersonable. We ordered the Chicken Philly Egg Roles which were crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. Huge gut bombs for us. Patio and bar looked nice, but there's nothing that would grant me another visit.

Took my wife here for a Saturday brunch and just wasn't real impressed. Food: I got the blackened chicken with grits. There may have been 2 ounces worth of chicken on the plate and it was almost like jerky from being way over cooked, much like the "poached" eggs which were cooked all the way through and hard. The grits were decent. My wife got the eggs Benedict and again the eggs were way over cooked and it seemed like the English muffin had just been popped on the bottom right out of the bag. No toast on it what so ever. Her potato hash was excellent though. Drinks: Overpriced and under liquored. Service: Our waiter was nice, but a bit pushy. We asked for a second to look at the menu and had returned about 30 seconds later asking if that had been enough time. We said no and he went to grab our waters again returning about 30 seconds after. On top of that he tacked on an 18% gratuity. Keep in mind it was just the two of us. We were not with a large party. I normally tip 20-25%, but if you're going to add a gratuity, I'm adding nothing. We won't be back.

Been here a couple times now. Food has been good every time. Definitely recommend! Patty was our server both times and made everything a great experience.

We had to find a place to eat before our son's hockey game at the rink close by. This place had good reviews. It's a hopping brunch spot for sure. Loud music and big parties inside. They also have a nice outdoor area. Our food was delicious and service was good. My husband has the wings, I had one of the sandwiches on their brunch menu that was very good, and my son had the chicken fried steak and at it all.

Food- we tried their chicken wings, nothing spectacular. Service was ok. Definitely a place for socializing, having a drink and unwinding after a days work. Ambiance is nice.

I am very, very disappointed! Met co-workers there for a gathering, the appetizers were very good. However, I ordered the braised short rib to take home. Well I received a plate full of mashed potatoes, and a FATTY rib no bone, hardly no meat at all. I've had a short ribs before, but I was expect that rich gravy. I got a few carrots and onions. I tried calling and I got the voicemail. There is no phone number or address on the receipt at all. This was very disappointing, I really did expect better. As of 8/22/24- I still have not heard from the restaurant. And I called on 8/20.

Was pretty disappointed In this place after reading some of the reviews. My gf got a breakfast sandwich which was ok, however I ordered the breakfast tacos and they were in fact the worst tacos I've ever had literally no flavor whatsoever. Even asked for an extra cup of salsa and that still didn't help. Service was not the best either. Definitely will never be back. Almost forgot the marg i ordered had no alcohol in it and and just sour... horrible marg for 14 dollars.

We reserved the patio for my daughter's birthday celebration last weekend. The staff went above and beyond helping us set up the patio, rearrange some tables, and set up the bar. During the evening, they were very attentive to refilling the food items ordered so that everything was hot and fresh. Drinks were refilled quickly and staff always was friendly and helpful. The food was yummy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Paula and Sheldon were especially helpful but each staff member was terrific. Kudos to all.

I have been to this location 6 times already since it has opened. Service is amazing and the whole place is great! Seating is good but try and make a reservation. Hip Hop Brunch is always a good time but the weekly specials are where it's at!! I figured I'd try the new common table in McKinney and I have to say I won't be going back. I will stick with the Frisco location. I walked in around 2 o'clock on Saturday place was more than half empty. The hostess set me down at a table and I sat there for a good 10 minutes. No one even said hi then I asked one of the bus boys who my waiter was he said he would find out five minutes more went by and the bus boy didn't even come back so I got up and left! horrible service management definitely needs to do something but I won't be going back.

I suggested to my girlfriends to meet at the Mckinney location and sadly regret it!!!! The location is nice. Our waiter was great. But the MUSIC WAS TERRIBLE. That 75% why people come to the common table on the weekend. We went on Saturday and have come to know Common Table to have Hip Hop Brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The music was HORRIBLE and the hostess should be telling guests that hip hop music will not be played upon entrance. We arrived at 10:15am and I assumed the music was temporary until 11am.NOPE. The music was so bad that I started Shazaming the music and attached is what was being played. Do better Mckinney Common Table.

It took us several minutes standing at the hostess table to be seated. Once seated it took another several minutes for our waitress to appear. The menu had a good variety! When our food arrived we were disappointed to hear that the kitchen was out of truffle French fries. They brought us another side as a replacement but it arrived after we had finished most of our food. The food ending up being pretty good, so we'll likely return. Hoping they can fine tune the service a bit and this place would be great. I

The perfect ambiance for a girls night out. I went last night to meet some ladies from all over Dallas and it was a great vibe. The chairs were very comfy even for someone plus size. My drink was sweet yet not over powering and my food was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Okay! Let me tell you about this place! It's my jam. I loveeee everyone here (shout out to Cody)! I came here specifically for my girls Graces birthday but he did an extra effort to be kind and check on us. On top of that. Food is bomb and the music is always relaxing but fun. Come! Check it out

Good food. Good drinks We went on a Sunday to Hip Hop Brunch. The bad: music was too loud. Don't go to Hip Hop Brunch if you have a headache or want to carry on a conversation.

We ended here by chance and the food was amazing! Chicken Fried Steak is Texas size and great!

Comfort food meets upscale dining. If you're looking for a cool place with great atmosphere while enjoying creative takes on comfort food this place is for you. The service is great (thanks Meredith) and the retro pics of celebrities adds something extra. This is definitely on our rotation here forward.

The food was delicious and we ate everything. My mil was not impressed with the frozen margarita and said it was watered down with no alcoholic taste. She ended up getting one on the rocks and said it was better. Waiter was friendly and attentive. The appetizers and cocktails were 1/2 off until 6pm and they had music bingo at 7pm. The decor was nice and the place was clean.

Worst meal and service I've had in quite some time. Not a fan. The first time we went, it was okay, but now it is a waste of a great location and beautiful patio.

Tasteless hangover burger.. hated my brunch! Patio tables n chairs were filthy with leftover food scraps.. unfriendly host.

Server was very friendly, but added 18% gratuity to our table of 2. He would have gotten more. Both of us did not enjoy our food, grits were tasteless and very runny. Breakfast potatoes needed a lot of salt and pepper. Got the wrong food delivered at first. Maybe they are working out the bugs at this new location, but you shouldn't force a gratuity amount on a two top.

Love Common Table, upscale and fun, great menu and attentive servers. Fried chicken Cobb salad, Salmon BLT and the shrimp appetizer great choices. Outdoor seating is a very nice area and the amazing 60's 70's photos that grace the interior walls are so fun. Music is a bit too loud just be aware hard to have a conversation.

I visited on a Sunday late afternoon during the Cowboys game, and the bar area was quite busy, while the dining section was less crowded. Unfortunately, they ran out of my beer after just having one, forcing me to switch to a different brand. Normally, this would frustrate me, but I decided to overlook it, considering they might have a new manager still getting accustomed to operations. It's essential to ensure adequate beer supplies for the weekend food for thought. Overall, it's a nice bar, as I usually frequent their Frisco location. However, the constant hip-hop music during the afternoon became overwhelming; while I appreciate both hip-hop and alternative music genres, the volume was excessive. I ended up leaving after 30-40 minutes and found a better experience elsewhere. The Frisco location deserves a five-star rating, while I believe this particular location merits only three stars.

The food at this restaurant is incredible I would rank it a strong 4 star. Service is also usually pretty great. My reason for the poor review is the cheesy ambiance. They seem to always have a person on a loud microphone playing a goofy trivia game that could easily be playing on a silent screen for those ppl who go out to eat with ppl they don't want to talk to. The location is super convenient to our home but we hesitate to come more often for this reason. The food, "regular" ambiance, and service are great! Please stop shooting yourselves in the foot with the annoying games.

Today I went to The Common Table and here is my review. First the food is absolutely amazing and delicious. The waiters and waitresses were fantastic. The waitress Meredith was very very cool and very very nice. She even joked around with us which was so funny and fun. And finally the inside was super rad, had pictures of famous people all around the place and were playing songs of hip hop and pop. So if you are looking for a fun, brunch-y, breakfast-y, and lunch-y place to eat please go to The Common Table!!!

Went here for a birthday celebration. Even though we had reserved a table earlier, we were given an uncomfortable table and had to seat very squashed. The food took forever to arrive. The Philly sandwich and truffle fries were yummy but the other dishes were not that great. The place was too noisy and we could barely hear each other. Overall meh experience!

Sunday brunch is your peak day. Why was the kitchen so slow? I put an online order in and it took a good 50min for a chicken and waffles order. The folks working the bar was preoccupied and it was like 10 min before anyone acknowledged me after I sat down. I love hip hop brunch but I've had better experiences in the past

Good good and great location! Service - meh... Messed up an order of wings and instead of changing them, they just tossed different sauce on top... Unfortunately the music is terrible and loud! They can do better!!

Atmosphere appears to be nice but the service was AWFUL from multiple wait staff. I joined 2 other people for a late lunch and a beverage. They all acted as if it was a real problem to give us service. We were 3 of the 5 ppl at the bar. I will NOT be back. Dallas has too many other options to deal w subpar service.
