We came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is great, it’s smaller and feels intimate and classy. You can also watch them making the various chocolate components in the kitchen! The service was amazing, our waiter was knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic and I loved the twist of adding chocolate in to the dishes in every way. The cocktail and drink menu is extensive with a great non-alcoholic selection! My partners smoked Manhattan was quite the presentation. We started with crispy brussel sprouts and calamari, both were delicious and well prepared. We got the braised short rib and braised lamb shank for dinner which were both tender and rich in flavor. With it being a broth celebration we had to try the fancy dessert, complete with a fiery flare, to top it off. It was a perfect finish for three people to split! Overall this was a delicious meal with great ambience and service. We will definitely be back and I’d highly recommend for any special occasion or treat yourself night out!

Highly recommended! This is hands down the best dessert I’ve had this year! The level of craftsmanship in the desserts even surpasses what I’ve experienced at Michelin-starred French restaurants in Kyoto. It’s truly the most refined dessert I’ve had in the DMV area—and at an affordable price! If you’re a chocolate lover, this is the place to go. Every dish was impressively delicious and full of delightful surprises. The service was also top-notch, comparable to that of fine dining establishments. Absolutely fell in love with this place!

27FEB.2025 My first visit here and won’t be my last. No wonder this is on Loudon County:Top List. The customer service of B & Zuleka was superb, the chocolatier(Solstices) is marvelous. Soulstices has (Michelin star skill and natural eye like no other)impeccably crafted, authentic dishes of delectable food that is served, has my tastebuds wanting more. Your pallet can get wonderfully lost in the explosion💥 of flavors and herbs in any dish. The brussel sprouts 🌱 were prepared to perfection. The sauce and seeds as the entire dish flowed together and (in its own way)melted into my mouth having all senses telling my mind to go back for more, only to realize I ate it all in a flash. Exquisite food. The extraordinary cocktails and signature drinks are AMAZING. Z(Zuleka)is a fantabulous mixologist. She prepared me two outstanding drinks that had beautiful stories that came along with them. The chocolarang was fascinating due everything in that drink was consumable. The crispness of the liquor/alcohol in this drink was so smooth(reminds me of my blue martini 🍸 in NY @ The Blue Box Cafe inside of Tiffany’s)that the after affects will body slam you if your not careful. So many delicious flavors having a romantic experience with my tastebuds…the citrus, chocolate, and the crispness of the liquor was so intoxicatingly inviting.🍊 🍫Exceptional experience. My other drink was a Peru 🇵🇪 inspired drink from Z’s home. Now, this was so smooth, delicious, and invigorating..the rosemary(burnt in order to have the herb 🌿collide and enhance the drink aromatically)and the citrus 🍊 had a smooth tag team on my tastebuds and I couldn’t stop smelling the rosemary. This superbly crafted drink drew me in like a moth to a flame. Thank you to Soulstice, Z, & B for the recommendations. AMAZING & exquisite night!!🧡The Conche, see you next time. A must stop in and try any dish and their delicious and beautiful looking chocolate. You will be happy you did. 23JULY2025 I made my way back for a 3-Course meal and it was superb. From the Harissa sizzler to the gorgeously prepared, handcrafted dessert(I barely made it through). I miss the mgr Bisham who wasn’t on duty, Zuleka and chefs ✨Soulstice✨ and Diego took great care of me. It was great night. My drink and meal was beyond measure and always outstanding. Michelin star creativity being served here. My pictures again will speak volumes.

Absolutely fantastic service. I think Salvador was the only waiter but he was on point; as was the rest of the staff! The food was excellent and unique. Sriracha fries, burger, short rib pasta, pork belly bun, and avocado toast were all amazing. My wife commented that this was the first time in a while where we couldn't think of a single negative thing. Well done!

Google
The Conche has been a long-time favorite since they opened in Leesburg. Chef/owner Santosh really sets the bar high for their food and desserts, most of which have chocolate intertwined in their ingredients. I love everything from the decor to the staff to the quality of the food, and I definitely recommend it to any clients.

Google
This is a very upscale restaurant and specialty chocolate shop. They get busy early, and reservations are suggested! The food is top quality, and they offer multi-course dining and wine pairing. Not on the cheap side, but worth the additional cost! I'd come here again.

Google
Overall awesome experience. Went for our anniversary and received a nice handwritten note from the restaurant. Food, drinks and service were all tremendous. Calamari and fried burrata appetizers were both delicious. Calamari was lightly breaded which is just the way I like it. Braised short rib was incredible and my wife’s chicken sizzler was also very tasty, as well. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Been here twice, once for a dinner and this time for a Mother’s Day Brunch. Very nice restaurant and cool food designs. They did a $65*/person event that came with baked goodies being offered by a server going around and 1 free Mimosa. They had some stellar pastries and scones that were delicious. Sadly the Mimosa was a pre-made batch type thing, and so no allowance for altering mimosa flavors. Everyone’s Food was great, but found the brisket flatbread was layered way too much with hash browns and became a giant potato sandwich with some pork, and wouldn’t recommend. The dessert buffet was a great selection of various sweets and looked nice. Overall it’s a nice spot for some cool experiences, the cost is a little pricey and the restaurant is rather snug, but a cool experience overall.

Yelp
This was easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! Absolutely the perfect way to celebrate my birthday! From start to finish, everything was exceptional including the service, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the food. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and found a handwritten card with birthday messages at the table. It was such a thoughtful touch that instantly made the evening feel special. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to share the story behind the restaurant. We learned that many of their dishes are chocolate-inspired, which added a unique and playful twist to the menu. Although we hadn't selected a course meal when making our reservation, the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. We ended up choosing the chef's three-course menu, which they mentioned is one of their most popular offerings and it did not disappoint. For drinks, my husband went with an espresso martini while I opted for the wine pairing, which was perfectly curated to complement each dish. We were also treated to a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and again, I just really appreciate their service! For the first course, I had the Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and full of flavor, while my husband enjoyed the calamari. Both were excellent, and the white wine paired beautifully with the salad. For our main course, we both chose the braised short ribs. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, it practically melted in my mouth. This dish was paired with a full-bodied California Cabernet, which ended up being my favorite wine of the evening. For the dessert, we ordered the Conche Entremet, as recommended. It featured a chocolate sphere that was set aflame tableside, and blue flames gently melting the chocolate to reveal a hidden cake inside. We truly enjoyed every moment of this dinner and can't wait to return for another special occasion!

Yelp
Have been here few times but never got a chance to write a review, I mainly come here to get my sweet-tooth fix. I love their dessert called Jivara. When I saw Souffle in the menu, I decided to make a trip. N it did not disappoint!!! This time I had the Salmon dish with came with Cannellini beans and an Apple salad with some sause. It was amazzzzing. It was one of the few dishes on the menu that didnt have any "sweet" ingredient in it - the way I prefer it. Not only was the Salmon cooked perfectly, each component of the dish worked so well together. I relished every bite. N then came the Soufflé. So pretty! N so yummy. It was really nice n delicate. It came with some sweet cream and choose vanilla ice cream. The other choices were chocolate or caramel. I thought vanilla will go well with chocolate Souffle n it did!! Hope they keep it on the re

Yelp
Fantastic! Can't recommend high enough. We hosted a 28 person family reunion/birthday. The food and drinks were outstanding. But what was most notable was the owner and his staff. The entire team was so welcoming and supportive. Can't thank them enough for a truly special evening.

Yelp
Huge Letdown: Disjointed Service, Alarming Oversights, and Overpriced, Average Food We dined here to celebrate a special occasion--a teen's birthday--which was communicated to the restaurant twice in advance, yet our waiter arrived with no prior knowledge of why we chose The Conche. What followed was a deeply disappointing and, at times, alarming experience that showed a complete lack of attention to detail or care for guest safety and hospitality. 1. Alcohol Served to a Minor A prix-fixe menu was ordered by a teenager at our table, which we later learned includes a glass of prosecco. Without any clarification from our server (Salvatore), prosecco was sent out--by a different server. The moment my son ordered the coursed meal, Salvatore should have: 1. Advised us that alcohol was included. 2. Offered a non-alcoholic alternative. This restaurant hosts chocolate-making events for children--surely a chocolate-infused, kid-friendly beverage could have been substituted? This goes beyond poor service, it's a serious safety issue. 2. Food Allergy We informed the staff that an elderly guest in our party has a severe food allergy. Still, an amuse-bouche was dropped off by yet another server, without any explanation of its ingredients. This kind of oversight is unacceptable in any dining setting. 3. Lack of Recognition for the Special Occasion We made it abundantly clear that we were celebrating a birthday. After spending over $500 (mostly on food and soda, with no alcohol aside from the bubbly mentioned above), we were given a single plate with "HBD" written in chocolate--only after reminding our server twice. There was no note, no celebratory touch, not even a single truffle. Meanwhile tables around us were receiving the restaurant's signature dessert that's lit on fire to reveal a layered cake. We would have gladly paid for this had it been suggested or recommended. 4. Disjointed and Inattentive Service Multiple servers (plus a robot) contributed to a chaotic and inconsistent experience. Nobody took clear ownership of the table. Basic attentiveness was lacking, and no one explained the role of the robot--which only added to the confusion. 5. Inconsistent Food Quality While a few dishes were flavorful, others were nearly inedible: soggy, fishing tasting calamari, undercooked "crispy" Brussels sprouts, dry monkey bread, and watered-down frozen hot chocolate filled with bits of ice. At this price point, you expect consistency, quality, and care in food preparation--none of which were present. Poor Response from Management When I called the manager the following day to share my concerns, no meaningful gesture was offered. There was no attempt by him to make things right. Later, when I posted a similar review on OpenTable, the manager responded by saying it was "unfortunate" that I chose to escalate the situation by leaving a review--defensive and completely missing yet another opportunity to demonstrate accountability. Bottom line: This was a special evening for our family that ended up marred by negligence, and poor and painfully slow service. And zero accountability from Conche staff. Based on our experience, I would caution others expecting a thoughtful or celebratory dining experience to consider other options.

Yelp
This is my go-to place when I want to celebrate, and they outdid themselves tonight with a custom tasting menu. Everything was delicious (as it always is) and I'm already looking forward to my next

Yelp
Great place for a date night. The food is always good and the deserts are outstanding. Additionally they have a great little bar with the exception of the bar tender the night we went his service was awful. Good ambiance and noise level as well.

Yelp
Good sizes are comically small. Skrinkflation must have hit hard. However the food is amazingly good. Service was fast, and attentive. The host offered a variety of seating options for us despite it being a busy Saturday night, because I'm a big guy, he wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Could do with the plastic screen that was between our table and those waiting to be seated. Something less liable to swaying would make the ambience more comfortable. Happy to go back.

Yelp
La Conche is the idyllic restaurant perfect for a Valentine's Day celebration. Their exquisite chocolates and enchanting chocolate theme menu offer a divine experience for all the senses. From rich chocolate cocktails to decadent chocolate desserts. unfortunately, we dined in between lunch and dinner so the menu options were limited to Caesar salad, cheeseburgers and fries, kinda like McDonald's. Despite this, the attentive service and romantic ambience made the experience enjoyable. I look forward to returning out a more optimal time to fully in indulge and all their chocolate inspired offerings

Yelp
My friend and I went here for the first time for dinner on Saturday and had an amazing experience!! Allison was our server and she was wonderful!! We could've not asked for anyone better! I ordered the lamb shank with no peppercorn sauce and no jam with a crispy side of EXTRA CRISPY BACON and a side of creamed spinach. Absolutely amazing and delicious!! Oh my goodness!!!! Also with a glass of Skye Bubbles Sauvignon Blanc, which I ended up getting two glasses of! ;-) Yes, I had my DD with me! My friend ordered the Campanella pasta with beef, short ribs, and those were absolutely amazing!! We also ordered a tomato soup and grilled cheese with extra crispy bacon added to it, of course!! I mean, duh!!! And that was absolutely amazing as well!!! The ambience of the restaurant was amazing as well!! Very, very clean and very modern. We will definitely be coming back here again and again!! Would definitely like to come back and try the Sunday brunch!!

Yelp
A chocolate specialty restaurant! It's nicely decorated and dim. Our waiter was super friendly and provided a wonderful overview of the restaurant and how they make their chocolates from scratch and incorporate it in unexpected ways. The food is a bit slow to come out and slow in between our appetizer and main. Although service was amazing and food was very good, for the price I'm not sure it felt truly worth it. Steamed pork buns - 4/5 not too fatty, super soft bread, I really loved the cherry sauce! Prob best pork bun I've had so far Braised short rib - 3/5 heavy but good. I appreciate that the meat actually still has some moisture and falls apart Campanella pasta - 3.75/5 nice flavorful but not too heavy mushroom cream sauce, meat was very tender and pasta cooked well but not too special! Passionfruit chocolate - 3/5 very smooth and rich chocolate and passionfruit flavor! Good blend

Yelp
Overall, love the idea of chocolate in everything and not sweet. Service was good. Pretty attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Everything in the restaurant feels pretty comfortable. The food was good but not mind blowing. We also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was 18 dollars. The most expensive grilled cheese I paid for in my life lol. It was good but not 18 dollars good lol The short ribs were ok. The tenderloins and shrimps and grits were my fav. The burger was pretty juicy as well.

Yelp
Lovely meals with each visit and the chocolate offerings are delectable. Ambiance and service are spot on! Add The Conche to your list of "must dines."!

Yelp
If you're looking for a little gem in Leesburg, come to this place. Went for dinner and Edvin, our server took great care of us. He was attentive and had great recommendations. It was a bit packed but not overwhelming and noise level was fine for dinner time. The best for last and the food was amazing. I got the pasta with short rib and it was amazing. My party also got the clams, the short rib and the chicken veggie platter and all were amazing.

Yelp
Yet another amazing experience with the food and ambiance. Went in to celebrate our anniversary. The server was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk too. The food as always was impeccably served and taste was amazing . One could taste the micro greens in the Salmon dish. What didn't go well with us this was with the servers response to one of an issue we found in one of the appetizers ; the Lamb Cigars, my husband found a piece of plastic in it and we asked the server 'Salvador' to see what it was and If it was harmful. He came back saying to us that the Chef didn't know what it was and it was nothing and we should not even think about it ! Also, they would take it out of the bill. Well... that was not our intention or concern ... we needed to know what was it and if it was harmful to us. Finding a Piece of plastic in the appetizer and wanted an assurance that it was not harmful to us was the main point. This should have been taken care more emphatically. We love this place and have always recommended to lots of our friends to visit this amazing retro cruise restaurant. This time round we tried the Lamb Cigars and the Sweet and sour Cauliflower, both were amazing. For dinner we tried the Chicken Vindaloo Sizzlers and Salmon Grill.... Ordered the warm Soufflé for dessert .They treated us with a writing anniversary wishes and dark chocolate with chai and pumpkin fillings. That was a sweet gesture. All in all a sure visit for the holidays for their scrumptious food and delectable chocolate!!

Yelp
So, I've lived in the Village Market Plaza for a year and a half and just visited the this really hyped up place called the Conche. Went for brunch and started out with a Spicy Bloody Mary. It was quite tasty but, not spicy at all. Had the Huevos Rancheros, which was really tasty. Two stuffed jalapeños on top of three side up eggs followed by a layer of crispy tortillas all sitting on a bed of a cocoa infused black bean purée (really tasty). We also had the Chicken and Biscuit, which was really good. There was a raspberry peppercorn jam drizzled around the biscuit.... It tasted really well with the chicken. The wait staff were really great which made the experience great. Was it worth the hype ... well, I enjoyed the place the food and the customer service so I'll be back.

Yelp
Always a great meal at the conches and lovely atmosphere. Really appreciated the Grinch showing up and keeping the little ones entertained. My favorite was the spiced hot apple cider. Incredibly delicious and refreshing. Was looking forward to the butternut squash but sadly they didn't have it this time. I had the Caesar salad and my daughter loved the croutons. Shrimp and grits always a great choice. Sausage was the scene stealer and cheesy grits were tasty. Husband got the chicken and biscuits and the biscuit was buttery and flaky. Our servers were so attentive with refilling water and getting plates out for new ones to come. Before I forget, a must is the hot chocolate with their toasted homemade marshmallow. A meal worth it in every aspect.

Yelp
Truly a bummer...I went back through old reviews and decided to give the Conche another try due to my raving review. I LOVE braised short rib and was thrilled to see it was added as a regular menu item. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the same. Very small portion, lacked flavor, and didn't melt in your mouth. Old Fashion was OK. Espresso Martini and salad was fantastic! Brussels sprouts were just odd...don't even know how to explain. Waiter was sweet and attentive. I don't love the seating arrangement in the front of the restaurant...odd table placement and it feels like you're eating with everyone and part of their conversations. Back if the restaurant is much better. I'm sure we'll return but most likely just for cocktails.

Yelp
I love the food here. Great variety and original dishes. And excellent desserts. Recommend for special ocassions.

Yelp
The food is so delicious here! I have been here two times and both times the service has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a place for special occasions. While the portions are on the "fancy small" side, the flavor packs a punch. Each dish I believe has some sort of chocolate element in it. The ambiance is cozy romantic. Towards the back of the restaurant they have a flower wall that is super pretty. You won't be disappointed if you dine here!

Yelp
First time coming here, hearing that they're known for their desserts, so that's all I was expecting. But I am very impressed with everything about this restaurant! Firstly, a big shoutout to our waiter Kinsey, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items. He really helped make our customer experience amazing and definitely a reason to come back to the restaurant as well. Also was able to try out some of their sweet/chocolate offerings, which were all so great - probably the best smores I've had in my life too honestly. The drinks and food were amazing as well. I got two berry fizz drinks, which were both tasty with the hints of chocolate on the rim and on the tip of the drink. The drink was a good blend of sweet and sour. I got the lamb cigars which were crispy and tasty, alongside the given sauce. I got the try the butternut squash soup and pork belly buns, which were both so delicious. I got the raspberry chocolate cake for dessert and it was an amazing way to end the night; not too sweet for the cake, and the other elements on the plate had their own unique tastes and bits as well. The interior is nice and decorated elegantly. I really enjoyed this place and definitely would make a trip to the Ashburn area again to try out more of their foods and actually get an entree, since I was too full to have one this day. Definitely worth the 5/5 score!

Yelp
Me and my husband went there for our anniversary And starting with the concept of the place are inspiration with chocolate is quite impress more delicate than that is every beverage drink and food they are add on some element with chocolate in it which I'm more surprised because it's somehow chocolate in entree has blend it together so well. and of course the finale, we are getting ( Manjari ) guess we don't need to say how wonderful it is ! Perfect dinner night , thanks to the chef

Yelp
Amazing!!! Such a unique experience and so delicious. They specialize in chocolate and ALL of their menu items have some form of chocolate in it. So cool!!! I did the three course meal and ordered a drink as well. I had a cocktail named "Fetish", tasted like a chocolate strawberry! It was not too strong and honestly pretty refreshing. For the appetizer I had a Caesar salad; a staple. What made this one different than the others was that it had some bitter shards of chocolate that surprisingly worked very well. For my entree I had the Braised Short Rib, the highlight of the night for sure. It was so tender and savory. I ate the whole thing up with nothing left on the plate! Lastly, for dessert I had the Jivara which was a chocolate cake. It was good but a little too chocolatey for me (I know lol). Overall, a great time and would like to go back to try their brunch menu!

We had a really nice dinner at the conche! The food was excellent and our server was really sweet and hospitable.

Yelp
The concept was intriguing and the food was very good, but sometimes cocoa nibs didn't add anything to the dish - it was just there to be in there. Regardless, a really good meal. We went for our anniversary in January.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and overall it was a pleasant experience! The ambiance of the place feels more upscale. There's indoor and outdoor dinning options. If you sit outdoors just know you're right on the very small sidewalks of Leesburg village so folks will constantly be walking right next to you as you eat. Also, there aren't umbrellas and obviously flies and bugs you'll have to worry about. We did the 5 course dining experience for $110. Each course had two options to select from so we both selected one so we could try it all. The five course surprised me entirely! Everything tasted phenomenal!! My only complaint was the slow cooked brisket was VERY FATTY! They gave me a chunk of the fat so I only had two bites of actual meat which was disappointing. The five course felt more like a 7 course. They brought out a palette opener and closer which were both perfect ways to start and close out the meal. I would highly recommend the multi-course dinning experience. They're delicious, filling, and it's a great way to step outside your comfort zone and try something new. My favorite on the prix fixed menu was the: -pork bun -Baby Arugula &6 Manchego Cheese Salad -Asparagus and Prosciutto -crispy calamari -verlasso salmon -both the flat iron steak and the braised short rib (as long as they don't give only fat for the braised short rib) - Maniari Drinks we ordered the $25 shooter flight and the conch old fashioned as well as an "experience style" Soot and rye drink. The scoot and rye was my favorite it was more like a Manhattan and they bring out the smoker. The old fashioned had chocolate bitters which to me made it feel like a watered down less strong old fashion. The scoot and rye was super good and was a little sweeter, smoky, and still held true to its bolder characteristics. It had chocolate and a cherry at the bottom. I would deff get the soot and rye again as well as the Moussetache. The moussetache is for all my chocolate indulgers. It's sweet and I save The service was good! Most of the servers were well educated on both the restaurant and menu items. They worked good as a team as well. They also accommodated to additional needs. I really appreciated the experience and service. I highly recommend a reservation because it's a smaller restaurant and it does get busy. Also, the experience dinning like multi-courses take a while. Our 5 course took about an hour and a half close to two hours.

Yelp
I called ahead to have a hot chocolate ready. manager said they would have it ready. Got there no drink ready. after waiting some time for them to make it and bring it out to me I gave her a $20 bill which she said give me a few minutes because she could not give me from the. Fast-forward 7 to 10 minutes later I have to go to the back and hunt her down to get. Then I didn't even get all the change. I had to go to all three different people working there to get to the lady who runs the place and then ask her to give me the correct change. She did not apologize or anything after I told her, I was running to a movie and I was going to be late etc...

Yelp
Poor Service...good food. It was the Saturday before Halloween, so our waitress was dressed like a dark angel with black wings and a halo and slightly spooky make up. When my mother-in-law asked for extra spoons so we could taste her soup she never brought them. We had to ask a man who is probably a manager and he brought them right away. When we asked for something, it took a long, long time. Also, she an attitude that seem like we were bothering her or she was superior to us maybe. We were kind and courteous and didn't ask for much. Very surprised at subpar service at such a nice high-end restaurant. Unfortunately, it took away from having a pleasant experience. The brave short ribs were delicious. The four scallops were small, but had great elevated flavors. The risotto was good. It is French style cuisine.

Yelp
My wife and I were so looking forward to dining here; we've lived in Loudoun County for 15 years, and while we thought the place seemed interesting, we never really prioritized it as an option. Meh, at the end of the day for us. Overall, The food wasn't good. Certainly not as good as Tuskie's (as a local reference). Ceasar salad was okay but a little soggy. Brussel sprouts were okay but drenched in sauce and way too sweet. Calamari was gross; way too breaded and half the plate was breaded red peppers. My wife's steak was okay but it was way to saucey and heavy. My scallops were just okay, but half of the plate were breaded brussel sprouts or some sort of vegetiable, and I couldn't even see what was what in the dark. Their celebreated dessert was just okay; way too rich way too heavy. Some of their ensembles seemed a bit too experimental for us. We did enoy the playful nuances that they did here and there -- for example, a chocalate stick on an Old Fashioned, etc. We sort of liked the ambiance, and we sort of didn't like the ambiance. Think casual cafe meets night club meets boudoir sort of vibe. The open kitchen was sort of cool, but the space down the row of seats was a little too dark. Needed the IPhone flashlight to read the menu in the booth seating. The service was bad. The waiter accidently dropped food on my wife's lap, and while he was apologetic and cleaned things up fast, he suprisingly didn't offer us anything as a kind gesture to make up for the mishap. I guess we could send Conche the dry cleaning bill ;-) Over the course of the evening we had three different waiters serving us because we kept losing our main waiter or we'd be waiting for him and then we'd finally ask for something from a different waiter. Even though the restaurant was only half full our main waiter was also the bartender, and he seemed to be overstreched and pulled in different directions. All the waiters were accommodating and jumped in to help when we asked for something (like more water, or an additional glass of wine or our check), but there wasn't that attention to detail and top shelf service that you'd expect at a place that charges $300+ for dinner for two. There's also a bit of a trying too hard kind of feel to the place. I get that they're going for cool and upscale and they have their concept approach with chocolate, but I would recommend less of a focus on pomp and circumstance and cool and more of a focus on quality. We're in Loudoun County and not NYC, Paris or Dubai, so there's no need to try that hard to be something you're not. As the French say, "Essayer trop fort ou collant." We went on a weeknight, and maybe the place excels on weekends and that's the problem? We aren't upset that we tried this place, but we also aren't thrilled. We won't be back for more.

Yelp
Overall great experience. Randy was a very lively which made the experience great. Very knowledgeable of the menu. Didn't like the seating we got (basic tables up front) requested booth but none were available. A little overpriced Scallops were dry....not much flavor Poke was amazing- chocolate bits Siracacha fries were okay wish they added chocolate flakes

Yelp
What a great brunch experience this was! Salvador's service made it even better! He explained the background of The conche as well as being able to deliver incredible service throughout our brunch! My husband and I both had The Brunch experience. For appetizers we ordered both the squash soup and the sweet and sour cauliflower. For the main entree I ordered the chicken and biscuit. For my desert I ordered the manjari. I had the spiced cider and bubbles to drink. From the presentation to the taste of the food, everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back in the future!

Yelp
This restaurant had INCREDIBLE service. As soon as we were done eating, they cleared plates immediately. The waiter came by at the perfect time intervals and was cognizant of our every need. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I wish we could've stayed and eaten more, but everything was so filling because the portions were gigantic! We took some chocolates to go. All chocolates are made in store. I highly recommend trying the weekend brunch menu - huevos rancheros was perfect! Lots of seating inside and public parking (a no payment garage).

Yelp
Been here several times and always very happy with the quality of food. My friends also threw me a bridal shower here (small party, not private) and we had a great time. The espresso tinis are the absolute best here and you can't go wrong with any of the chocolate choices. I mainly come for brunch, but also enjoyed a delicious pasta for lunch before. Nice staff, very low key, and great food.

Yelp
Wow, the difference maker here is really the staff. We had Wendi, who explained the history, the chocolate, and the chefs vision, really helpful. The fixed priced menu seems the way to go if you do the math. Appetizer, main course, and dessert. I had the rib buns, salmon, and monkey bread. Including pics that really don't do it justice, just and incredible meal. Bigger inside than it looks from the outside, great place to celebrate anything.

Yelp
Took my dad here on a Friday night for his birthday. (Make sure to make a reservation, they tend to get pretty filled up especially on the weekends) I made reservation so we were sat right away. Everyone here was very friendly, from the host to our server taking care of us. For appetizer we ordered the Merguez Lamb Cigars and the Steamed Pork Buns. The Merguez Lamb Cigars was an interesting take, I actually was not expecting it to come out deep fried but it was very good. It came like a thin eggrolls with chermoula spiced labneh and drizzled with Tupelo honey. The Steamed Pork Buns was something I've ordered before and loved. It came with Spiced Cripsy Pork Belly. The pork belly was so nice and tender. It came with cherry thyme compote, gochujang aioli, and furikake. Definitely messy if you try and pick it up and eat by hand, best way is just a knife and fork! For entree my dad ordered the Flat Iron Steak. Unfortunately, for that order they were unable to do it medrare, I'm guessing because it was sous vide. The temperature definitely came out to be a medium to medium well.It was a Cocoa-Rubbed Flat Iron, Red wine bacon and mushroom sauce, garlic infused goat cheese potato purée, with herb butter and seasonal vegetable medley. I got to try a bite of it and all the flavors came together so nicely. I ordered the Spiced Crusted Rouen Duck. I absolutely loved this dish. I was hoping to order the Lamb Rack that I got last time, unfortunately they didn't have it on the menu but the Duck was just as good. It came with a really good creamy coconut grits and sweet curry scented baby carrots. It came with a zesty orange honey glaze and topped with pomegranate seeds. Very flavorful dish and the duck was cooked perfectly to medrare. For dessert, we ordered the Match Made in Heaven for my dad's birthday dessert. They decorated the plate and bought out a candle to celebrate. I have come here three times now, and everytime, the dessert never disappoints. I love how all the flavors are always so incorporated together so nicely. This desert came with white chocolate mousse, coconut cake, dark chocolate & raspberry, rose Bavarian cream, raspberry caramel and lychee sorbet. This was such an amazing dessert and not overly sweet. This is an awesome and unique restaurant and I always have an amazing time. I love how they incorporate the "chocolate" theme into many of their dishes as well as mixed certain ingredients you wouldn't think would go well together. There's also a large variety of chocolate showcased when you walk in the restaurant to purchase as well, great gifting idea!!

Yelp
This is my favorite dessert place in the area. First off, the service was amazing! I brought my friend here for the first time and our waiter, Kinsey made a really great impression! He was very engaged in conversation, attentive, and we could tell he really enjoys giving customers a great experience. For drinks we both got the non alcoholic berry fizz and passionfruit drink that was very tasty. For appetizer we shared the lamb cigars that were crispy and very flavorful especially with the sauce. I also got the pork belly buns and love how unique the sauce is! The butternut squash soup with bacon was also amazing. I love how it comes with ravioli. Of course we had to save room for dessert and I got the passionfruit one while my friend got the raspberry chocolate cake. The ambiance is beautiful with lots of decorations on the walls and clean. The high ratings here are very well deserved!

Yelp
My friend and I came on a Friday night for dinner. When I first arrived, the hostess seemed confused and kept asking me for the gender of my other party. I am not sure why that was important in seating placement. I had made a reservation beforehand so I got seated relatively quick. The server was nice and prompt. She answered our questions and gave good recommendations. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke and Campanelle Pasta along with our flights. Although the ahi tuna poke is an appetizer, it was a full portion. Both our orders were very yummy and the flights were also very well made. It's a little tight inside and we had to sit right next to another couple on the same couch which I didn't enjoy too much. Especially in this time of age, I would expect more space between each tables. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Whiel visiting my daughter she has been dying to take me to this restaurant so we went tonight. It has a very neat appearance from the curbside. We had reservations and when we ride we were seated immediately. The restaurant is actually a lot larger than it appears from the outside. It is very deep. We set in the front of the restaurant by the windows. Our waitress greeted us upon sitting and offer three different menus why menu, dinner menu, chocolate's menu. We opted also for salads I inquired about any additional salads maybe not on menu was advised that they have a green salad and that turned out to be very nice with hints of citrus dressing. I ordered the sizzling chicken and had the couscous on the side. It is supposed to be more of a spicy dish however it wasn't spicy but it was very good and a very decent portion for the surving.

Yelp
As always the best restaurant in Leesburg. Every meal has been perfect in taste, appearance and portions. This is one restaurant I can eat everything on the menu and enjoy. Service is top notch.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we received curtious, speedy service. The food is delicious! The interior is warm and welcoming. We had been by the area for other reasons and never recognized it was there until it was referred by a friend. A hidden gem. My family and I will be back!

Yelp
The conche has wonderful food! But this review is more about their brunch with the grinch event! This is our second year going and it has become our favorite holiday meal! I've done 'the experience' both times and every course is better than the last. My husband said his Apple French toast was amazing. I had the chicken biscuit and it was delicious. While the food is truly noteworthy- the Grinch brunch is our favorite because of this Grinch! Whoever is in that costume is fantastic! Engaging, but not pushy when a kid needs time to warm up. (Like my kid does) Once you're ready, the grinch is always jumping in for pics, dancing around, playing jokes- truly the best character meal of our holiday both years!

Yelp
This place has been on my radar for quite some time. Now that I'm a regular in Loudoun County, we had a chance to give their happy hour a visit. The location sits between the bike shop and another restaurant. When you walk in you're greeted by a small chocolate bar. Lots of their drinks are infused with chocolate. We tried a variety of their happy hour cocktails. I highly recommend the Fetish. This drink tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry. So tasty but packs a big punch! I wasn't a fan of the beach drink, too much citrus for my taste. Hubby had some fun whiskey cocktails. We ordered 2 food apps from their happy hour menu. The calamari was lacking, and I mean lacking in calamari. The 3-4 rings were supplemented with plenty of jalapeño rings. The best food item was their basket of truffle fries($5). Food took way too long to arrive. Bar service was excellent. Bar server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely come back to him.

Yelp
The Conche has been on my list of places to try for a while so I was looking forward to our visit. We had dinner reservations and we were seated in a reasonable time after our arrival. After ordering our cocktails, the waitress stopped back a little bit later to take our dinner order and let us know that the bartenders were backed up so our drinks would be a while. Eventually, our cocktails came out and the Oh My 'Rita was fine, but nothing extraordinary that I'd order again. The calamari was tasty, good flavoring in the batter. I had the salmon which was a little overcooked. The accompanying beans were flavorful. My date had the risotto and the serving portion was barely enough for a kids meal. Also had a glass of wine which was a little light on the pour. After finishing our meal we waited and waited for service. The waitress and servers were all friendly but service throughout was slow. We were interested in trying a dessert, but we sat there long enough that it was easy to mull it over and decide to take a pass. We left a little disappointed and hungry. There are other nice Leesburg restaurants where we can get great service and delicious food for a similar price point. The Conche misses the mark.

Yelp
The attention from weight staff was so appreciated on an evening where four of us were celebrating our birthdays. The ambience and food only complemented the staff conscientiousness. Three of us had the butternut squash soup, braised short ribs, and ended our meal with the amazing Manjari. Absolutely recommend the conch for a special evening.

Yelp
4.5 stars. My first visit here was the best, 5 stars. And consecutive visits have gotten progressively worse a bit by bit. 1. Reservation is absolutely necessary. they very busy 2. food: very good Their pasta was amazing. Drinks shots are very unique and good Cauliflower dish was amazing and they didn't have it when I came back for it! They know how to cook meat well! Just get whatever they're offering whether it is a steak or a t bone. 3. service: slow and last time it felt like a trainee who had no idea 4. ambience: quite dark inside. but outside they have a little seating area which is very nice. naturally due to the natural light it's beautiful especially when it's not a hot day 4. nearby there are many stores and enough area you could walk around so it's a great place to be. all in all it's a really good place.

Yelp
A friend and I had dinner and drinks at The Conche one evening for a Girl's Night Out. We made reservations so there would be no issues getting seated. But when we got there it wasn't too crazy. When you first walk in there is a display counter with specialty chocolates that are available for purchase. On another visit I definitely might have to try some. The interior is dim but not too bad. Though you should definitely bring your glasses (if you need them, haha) to see the menu! A lot do the menu items are made with chocolate and/or cacao but it's not overpowering. They claim their braised short ribs and scallops are a couple of the highlights of the menu. My friend ordered the scallops and I had the Asaparagus and Pancetta Risotto (added chicken). I was underwhelmed by the chicken... it came out pale and unseasoned... but the risotto was tasty so I would probably just get it without the additional chicken next time. As for the scallops, they were good, but it was t clear what was truly spectacular about them. The highlights weee our drinks and desserts. We both ordered one of their specialty cocktails.. the "Fetish" and it was yummy! I also had the Espressotini... also pretty tasty. For dessert we split the Monkey Breas Sundae and oh my goodness it was so good I wanted to lick the bowl! Seriously you have to try it! The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and able to provide recommendations. As for the environment... this is family friendly but not family-centric. I'd probably reserve it for date night or a night out with friends. They also do have a pretty decent bar area. Overall, definitely recommend. Next time I'll try the short ribs
