Watch: Leesburg’s Conche Folds Chocolate Into Everything | Eater DC

"Opened in May 2017 in Leesburg, Virginia, this family-friendly restaurant showcases Santosh Tiptur's practice of weaving imported Valrhona chocolate into everyday dining: both the kitchen and the bar tuck chocolate into everything they serve, using chocolate to punch up cocktails, French fries, and seafood. The site also operates a glass-enclosed chocolate lab on-site at 1605 Village Market Boulevard, reinforcing the restaurant's chocolate-focused identity." - Warren Rojas

What a fun dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting and unique. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal—creative, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. We loved that every dish on the menu incorporated a thoughtful cocoa-inspired element. On top of all that, the service was outstanding. Zuleyka took such wonderful care of us, offering great recommendations and making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. The manager, Bishon, was fantastic as well—warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about ensuring guests have an amazing time. Overall, it was an experience we enjoyed from start to finish, and we can’t wait to return!

I took my wife and I here for our third anniversary and it was an amazing experience. The welcome staff were so nice to us, and our waitress Kat was very attentive and kind. She gave us on the house celebratory champagne which was just awesome! The food is absolutely delectable, almost all the dishes infuses chocolate or cocoa into it which makes for very unique flavors and textures. We did the three course dinner which was a great value and you won't be disappointed. My wife and I definitely will be coming back here again.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and romantic, and the service was outstanding. A special shout-out to our waiter, Jason, who went above and beyond to make our evening extra special — he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly celebrated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Google
This is a 10 star place. Staff is very friendly, it felt like we were dining at a family event vs a restaurant. Carolina our server was amazing, Bishan (sp?) the manager was very attentive and approachable, the bartender Zuleica (sp?) made fantastic drinks. I recommend the espresso Negroni, not on the menu but ask Bishan for the Galileo Negroni, trust me. Next you have to try the burger, I knew at first bite it was by far the best burger I've ever tried. The bacon wrapped tenderloin was cooked to perfection, the short rib pasta was to die for. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be coming back for sure. The chocolate desserts were also amazing fyi. You just have to try this place....

Google
We absolutely love Conche. The food is consistently outstanding — beautifully curated flavors, always served at the perfect temperature, and a menu that offers great variety while staying true to what they do best. Every dish feels intentional and expertly executed. The service truly sets Conche apart. The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Tonight, we had Maria as our server, and she was exceptional — kind, poised, and confident, with thoughtful menu recommendations that enhanced our experience. We were genuinely surprised to learn she’s only been serving for two weeks; her professionalism and demeanor suggest far more experience. During our visit, our previous server Jason also stopped by to say hello. He was new when we first met him months ago, and it was encouraging to see how much he has grown and how well he’s thriving. It speaks volumes about Conche’s commitment to training and developing their team. In a time when service standards often decline while prices rise, it’s refreshing — and reassuring — to see a restaurant that refuses to compromise on either food or service. As a bonus, they’re part of the inKind app network, but honestly, we’d keep coming back regardless. We can’t wait to return and finally try brunch! Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem!!! The food is amazing and the service is phenomenal. Jason was our server and he was literally the best server we've ever had. I had the burger (top notch) and my wife has the braised short rib. Both were great. The Caesar salad was the best we've ever had.

Carolina was our server, and set the tone for a wonderful dining experience! We each got the price fixe three course, and everything was perfect, from presentation to preparation, this is a foodie’s dream. Just trust me, go with your server’s recommendation, and have a great time! Mocktails are wonderful too, and dessert is not to be missed!

Google
I love this place! The menu is innovative and delicious, that staff is amazing and helpful, and the chocolate! Dishes are tasty and infused with chocolate. You won’t taste cocoa, but there is a complexity and thoughtfulness in the dishes that is so enjoyable! And my god, the desserts are amazing!!!

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Conche in Leesburg, and wow....just wow! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back to this gorgeous restaurant. The food was outstanding, and every detail from the presentation to the service was excellent. Everything was spot on....And the food is delicious! The staff were warm and personable, making it a truly perfect evening! I would have to say, I would pick Conche over Tuskies or Lightfoot.

Yelp
As soon as you step foot in The Conche you are introduced to the concept. Look to the left and you see a tantalizing display of chocolates. Look to the right and you see a display with a conche machine demonstrating how their chocolate is processed. I can't tell you if a conche truly produces better chocolate, but the sweet side of the menu really gets the job the done. I'm a bit unsure about everything else. I almost visited this restaurant a month ago during the lunch hour and it was completely empty. It made me hesitate, and when I walked in the door for my eventual dining experience the tables were still sparsely populated. This did not translate to particularly attentive service. Our waiter, though very kind when he came to the table, seemed to have his attention split three ways between the front counter, the kitchen, and the tables. Perhaps this a necessity given the light lunch crowd. I ordered The Conche Burger, which was recommended to me by the waiter. It was a mixed experience. The burger patty itself was decadent: braised short rib, cooked a perfect medium rare, and it had a nice bite from the sharp Vermont cheddar. It was really quite good overall, but I couldn't help but wonder where the other flavors were. The one thin slice of tomato was doing no work. The chocolate BBQ sauce, one of the only things on the lunch menu that leans into the concept, was inperceptible. The burger could really use a leafy, bitter green to offset the fattiness. My daughter got parm crusted chicken strips with fries from the kids menu. It was solid and she loved it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of paying $14 for a kids meal with no drink. The chocolate though . . . First of all, I don't know if this is a regular happening at the restaurant, but our waiter brought us two chocolates flavored with Pomegranate on the house. All of the balance the burger might have been lacking was present in these bites. But the star of the entire show was clear: the Manjari. This was one of the 3-5 best desserts I have had all year. It's a chocolate mousse filled with vanilla crème Brûlée, dark chocolate brownie, and accompanied by salted caramel as well as salted caramel ice cream. On paper, it sounds like too much. It sounds overwhelming for someone who doesn't eat a lot of sweets anymore, and especially very little chocolate. Throw away the paper - every bite was near perfection. Even if you don't want the whole thing, that salted caramel ice cream was special in a way that I didn't expect. I still have a lot of questions about The Conche but I think it's fair to say that they are a chocolateria first. Looking at it through that lens, I can't go any lower than four stars.

Yelp
Entrees were ok. The scallop were tasty. The salads and other items were average and the chocolate soufflé was outstanding. Jason our server was very friendly but service did not meet expectations. I had to ask for my same beverage 3 times before I received it. Also they never brought out the appetizer I ordered as well. Bottom line Jason and the others wait staff left much to be desired. We expected a more festive Xmas eve but it was not delivered.

Yelp
Always enjoy coming here. Great friendly service. My fave is short ribs companelle pasta which vines with generous amounts of braised short ribs, mushrooms and creamy mushroom sauce. A-la-carte sides such as rosemary truffle fries are also delicious... and then there are some real decadent chocolates for all palates. Ample free parking on streets and garages.

Yelp
This is a pretty unique place located all the way in Leesburg, VA, as most of the menu sweet or savory emphasize some element of chocolate. Expensive but worthwhile splurge. I went here on a Friday dinner and reservations are fairly easy to get last minute. As I arrived on the earlier side, I was able to request specific seats, and they accommodated. I made a note in the reservations to sub the 3-course prix fixe menu dessert to the Conche Entremet, and they were able to for a $15 supplement, still cheaper than buying all the entrees a la carte for a solo diner. However, do note that even for a 3 course meal, it is a lot of food and I ended up only able to finish a quarter of the dessert. It may be better to order a la carte and share the dinner as a party of 2 or 3. I got the Conche caesar salad which had cocoa nibs. It otherwise tasted like a caesar salad but with a little bit of flair to it. I wished there were more cocoa nibs to savor the uniqueness of the dish. For main course, I had the braised short rib that was pretty solid - fairly tender beef and delicious accompaniments. It was hard to extract out the chocolate flavor here. For dessert, of course I got the Conche Entremet. It is a whole show and the dessert lights up the chocolate shell on fire and it melts to open up the actual dessert inside. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, the presentation, and the actual dessert, which is a cake with ice cream inside. I got the wine pairing and the wines, although not of the fanciest quality, pairs very well so they did a pretty good job with the pairing with the flavor profile. Service is good as water refills were present and each dish came out at a good cadence without feeling too rushed.

Yelp
We had a family birthday party (approximately 30 guests) here and the food and service were amazing. They were very helpful in the planning process and the day of the event everything was perfect. I had not dined there before but will definitely be back to try all the yummy looking food I saw being served!

Yelp
Absolutely delightful staff who greeted us enthusiastically at the door and kept a very positive experience throughout the entire meal. The food is very well thought out and executed, incorporating chocolate in every dish providing that amazing savory flavor that is so unique. The ambiance is great and although not large amount of seating inside it feels very intimate for each table. Each course was better than the next. What an amazing restaurant.

Yelp
Although I don't live in the area, I always visit the Conche when I do find myself in Leesburg. The food is fantastic and innovative, the ambience is modern yet warm, and the service is top notch.

Yelp
I visited Conche for the first time and was absolutely blown away! The restaurant felt very cozy and intimate without feeling crowded. Everyone was so kind and helpful and we truly felt like we were treated like family. We both got the holiday 3 course meal option an everything was DELICIOUS. The caesar salad with chocolate was an unexpected pairing that I ended up loving. The harissa chicken sizzler was flavorful, hearty, and incredibly tender. We were ready to tap out after the 2nd course but when dessert came we got a second wind!! The dessert was fantastic - rich and decadent but not overwhelmingly sweet. Conche was an amazing experience and I definitely will be going back!!!!

Yelp
Was looking forward to going here. I wanted to take my parents out to a nice meal since they do not get to much. We were greeted by our waitress Maria and she took our drink order. Brought my wife's wine, but forgot the rest of the order. Make this short, we tried to order beef tenderloin for main course and was told they were out, Maria said she forgot to tell us they were out. We spent about ten minutes to decide on another entree. Luckily found out owner went out and got more. Great, ordered beef tenderloin and I ordered fried barrata for appetizer. That came out and it was cold on inside, I mean refrigerator cold. Thought with how this experience was going, a manager would come by to discuss. Nobody came by to apologize or anything. We enjoyed Maria's personality, I think she just needs more training. Just disappointed that at the price point the quality of service and barrata was not up to expectations. The flavors were great though, just diminished due to the prior statements above. Was originally going to give a 2, but the flavors got the rating to a 3.

Yelp
Have been here few times but never got a chance to write a review, I mainly come here to get my sweet-tooth fix. I love their dessert called Jivara. When I saw Souffle in the menu, I decided to make a trip. N it did not disappoint!!! This time I had the Salmon dish with came with Cannellini beans and an Apple salad with some sause. It was amazzzzing. It was one of the few dishes on the menu that didnt have any "sweet" ingredient in it - the way I prefer it. Not only was the Salmon cooked perfectly, each component of the dish worked so well together. I relished every bite. N then came the Soufflé. So pretty! N so yummy. It was really nice n delicate. It came with some sweet cream and choose vanilla ice cream. The other choices were chocolate or caramel. I thought vanilla will go well with chocolate Souffle n it did!! Hope they keep it on the re

Yelp
Fantastic! Can't recommend high enough. We hosted a 28 person family reunion/birthday. The food and drinks were outstanding. But what was most notable was the owner and his staff. The entire team was so welcoming and supportive. Can't thank them enough for a truly special evening.

Yelp
This was easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! Absolutely the perfect way to celebrate my birthday! From start to finish, everything was exceptional including the service, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the food. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and found a handwritten card with birthday messages at the table. It was such a thoughtful touch that instantly made the evening feel special. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to share the story behind the restaurant. We learned that many of their dishes are chocolate-inspired, which added a unique and playful twist to the menu. Although we hadn't selected a course meal when making our reservation, the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. We ended up choosing the chef's three-course menu, which they mentioned is one of their most popular offerings and it did not disappoint. For drinks, my husband went with an espresso martini while I opted for the wine pairing, which was perfectly curated to complement each dish. We were also treated to a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and again, I just really appreciate their service! For the first course, I had the Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and full of flavor, while my husband enjoyed the calamari. Both were excellent, and the white wine paired beautifully with the salad. For our main course, we both chose the braised short ribs. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, it practically melted in my mouth. This dish was paired with a full-bodied California Cabernet, which ended up being my favorite wine of the evening. For the dessert, we ordered the Conche Entremet, as recommended. It featured a chocolate sphere that was set aflame tableside, and blue flames gently melting the chocolate to reveal a hidden cake inside. We truly enjoyed every moment of this dinner and can't wait to return for another special occasion!

Yelp
This restaurant used to be my favorite in Leesburg, but my most recent visit really soured me. Our party made a 5:30 reservation on New Year's Eve. We showed up on time and were seated. What followed was the worst service I've experienced dinning out in my LIFE, especially for an upscale restaurant such as The Conche. We had to call our server over multiple times to ask for things (drink menu, forgot our drinks, napkins, silverware), she hardly checked on us. We waited almost 40 minutes between dishes and it would've been longer if we didn't speak to the manager (he did give us a 25% discount for the extremely long wait but this place also charges a 2% credit card fee....). I saw other tables experiencing the same thing, VERY slow service (seemingly from the kitchen being backed up) but the servers also seemed to not be on the ball either. It seemed like no one was working as a team. The staff used to care about the customer and the experience. I thought this was just because of the holiday but after seeing other recent reviews, it looks like this place is just declining overall. The food is still amazing, but we sat at our booth for 3.5 HOURS!!! When the 5 course meal said it would be served in 90 minutes. I really hope management hires more seasoned, detail oriented staff, because that was what I loved about this restaurant, how much the staff would dote on you and make sure everything was great. Sadly, this might be my last time visiting The Conche.

Yelp
Good sizes are comically small. Skrinkflation must have hit hard. However the food is amazingly good. Service was fast, and attentive. The host offered a variety of seating options for us despite it being a busy Saturday night, because I'm a big guy, he wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Could do with the plastic screen that was between our table and those waiting to be seated. Something less liable to swaying would make the ambience more comfortable. Happy to go back.

Yelp
We went tonight for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday , our server was Salvador and I can't tell you how amazing he was. The best service we have had in a very long time. The food was amazing I did the 3 course meal and my husband did the 5. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our celebration so special.

Yelp
La Conche is the idyllic restaurant perfect for a Valentine's Day celebration. Their exquisite chocolates and enchanting chocolate theme menu offer a divine experience for all the senses. From rich chocolate cocktails to decadent chocolate desserts. unfortunately, we dined in between lunch and dinner so the menu options were limited to Caesar salad, cheeseburgers and fries, kinda like McDonald's. Despite this, the attentive service and romantic ambience made the experience enjoyable. I look forward to returning out a more optimal time to fully in indulge and all their chocolate inspired offerings

Yelp
A chocolate specialty restaurant! It's nicely decorated and dim. Our waiter was super friendly and provided a wonderful overview of the restaurant and how they make their chocolates from scratch and incorporate it in unexpected ways. The food is a bit slow to come out and slow in between our appetizer and main. Although service was amazing and food was very good, for the price I'm not sure it felt truly worth it. Steamed pork buns - 4/5 not too fatty, super soft bread, I really loved the cherry sauce! Prob best pork bun I've had so far Braised short rib - 3/5 heavy but good. I appreciate that the meat actually still has some moisture and falls apart Campanella pasta - 3.75/5 nice flavorful but not too heavy mushroom cream sauce, meat was very tender and pasta cooked well but not too special! Passionfruit chocolate - 3/5 very smooth and rich chocolate and passionfruit flavor! Good blend

Yelp
Overall, love the idea of chocolate in everything and not sweet. Service was good. Pretty attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Everything in the restaurant feels pretty comfortable. The food was good but not mind blowing. We also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was 18 dollars. The most expensive grilled cheese I paid for in my life lol. It was good but not 18 dollars good lol The short ribs were ok. The tenderloins and shrimps and grits were my fav. The burger was pretty juicy as well.

Yelp
Yet another amazing experience with the food and ambiance. Went in to celebrate our anniversary. The server was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk too. The food as always was impeccably served and taste was amazing . One could taste the micro greens in the Salmon dish. What didn't go well with us this was with the servers response to one of an issue we found in one of the appetizers ; the Lamb Cigars, my husband found a piece of plastic in it and we asked the server 'Salvador' to see what it was and If it was harmful. He came back saying to us that the Chef didn't know what it was and it was nothing and we should not even think about it ! Also, they would take it out of the bill. Well... that was not our intention or concern ... we needed to know what was it and if it was harmful to us. Finding a Piece of plastic in the appetizer and wanted an assurance that it was not harmful to us was the main point. This should have been taken care more emphatically. We love this place and have always recommended to lots of our friends to visit this amazing retro cruise restaurant. This time round we tried the Lamb Cigars and the Sweet and sour Cauliflower, both were amazing. For dinner we tried the Chicken Vindaloo Sizzlers and Salmon Grill.... Ordered the warm Soufflé for dessert .They treated us with a writing anniversary wishes and dark chocolate with chai and pumpkin fillings. That was a sweet gesture. All in all a sure visit for the holidays for their scrumptious food and delectable chocolate!!

Yelp
If you're looking for a little gem in Leesburg, come to this place. Went for dinner and Edvin, our server took great care of us. He was attentive and had great recommendations. It was a bit packed but not overwhelming and noise level was fine for dinner time. The best for last and the food was amazing. I got the pasta with short rib and it was amazing. My party also got the clams, the short rib and the chicken veggie platter and all were amazing.

Yelp
So, I've lived in the Village Market Plaza for a year and a half and just visited the this really hyped up place called the Conche. Went for brunch and started out with a Spicy Bloody Mary. It was quite tasty but, not spicy at all. Had the Huevos Rancheros, which was really tasty. Two stuffed jalapeños on top of three side up eggs followed by a layer of crispy tortillas all sitting on a bed of a cocoa infused black bean purée (really tasty). We also had the Chicken and Biscuit, which was really good. There was a raspberry peppercorn jam drizzled around the biscuit.... It tasted really well with the chicken. The wait staff were really great which made the experience great. Was it worth the hype ... well, I enjoyed the place the food and the customer service so I'll be back.

Yelp
Always a great meal at the conches and lovely atmosphere. Really appreciated the Grinch showing up and keeping the little ones entertained. My favorite was the spiced hot apple cider. Incredibly delicious and refreshing. Was looking forward to the butternut squash but sadly they didn't have it this time. I had the Caesar salad and my daughter loved the croutons. Shrimp and grits always a great choice. Sausage was the scene stealer and cheesy grits were tasty. Husband got the chicken and biscuits and the biscuit was buttery and flaky. Our servers were so attentive with refilling water and getting plates out for new ones to come. Before I forget, a must is the hot chocolate with their toasted homemade marshmallow. A meal worth it in every aspect.

Yelp
My friend and I went here for the first time for dinner on Saturday and had an amazing experience!! Allison was our server and she was wonderful!! We could've not asked for anyone better! I ordered the lamb shank with no peppercorn sauce and no jam with a crispy side of EXTRA CRISPY BACON and a side of creamed spinach. Absolutely amazing and delicious!! Oh my goodness!!!! Also with a glass of Skye Bubbles Sauvignon Blanc, which I ended up getting two glasses of! ;-) Yes, I had my DD with me! My friend ordered the Campanella pasta with beef, short ribs, and those were absolutely amazing!! We also ordered a tomato soup and grilled cheese with extra crispy bacon added to it, of course!! I mean, duh!!! And that was absolutely amazing as well!!! The ambience of the restaurant was amazing as well!! Very, very clean and very modern. We will definitely be coming back here again and again!! Would definitely like to come back and try the Sunday brunch!!

Yelp
Huge Letdown: Disjointed Service, Alarming Oversights, and Overpriced, Average Food We dined here to celebrate a special occasion--a teen's birthday--which was communicated to the restaurant twice in advance. Our waiter, Salvatore, arrived with no knowledge of the special occasion. What then followed was a deeply disappointing and, at times, alarming experience that showed a complete lack of attention to detail, hospitality, and care for guest safety. 1. Alcohol Served to a Minor A prix-fixe menu was ordered by a teenager at our table. Later we learned this includes a glass of prosecco. Without any clarification from our server (Salvatore), prosecco was sent out -- by a different server. The moment my son ordered the coursed meal, Salvatore should have: 1. Advised us that alcohol was included. 2. Offered a non-alcoholic alternative. This restaurant hosts chocolate-making events for kids -- surely a chocolate-infused, kid-friendly beverage could have been substituted. 2. Food Allergy We informed our server of a severe food allergy in our party. Still, an amuse-bouche was dropped off by yet another server, without any explanation of its ingredients. This oversight is unacceptable in any dining setting. 3. Lack of Recognition for Special Occasion The Conche made no effort to acknowledge the birthday we were celebrating -- there was zero celebratory touch, aside from a plate with HBD written in chocolate, which was brought to the table after I asked our server to please bring something special for my son. We would have gladly paid extra for any dessert had it been suggested or recommended. 4. Disjointed and Inattentive Service Multiple servers (plus a robot) contributed to a chaotic and inconsistent experience. Nobody took clear ownership of the table. Basic attentiveness was lacking, and no one explained the role of the robot--which only added to the confusion. 5. Inconsistent Food Quality While a few dishes were flavorful, others were nearly inedible: fishing tasting calamari, undercooked "crispy" Brussels sprouts, dry monkey bread, and watered-down frozen hot chocolate filled with bits of ice. At this restaurant's price point, you expect a consistent, high-quality, fine dining experience, and The Conche did not deliver that. Poor Response from Management Despite a call made the next day sharing these concerns, the manager at no point offered any meaningful gesture. He made no attempt to make things right. Later, when I posted a similar review on OpenTable, the manager responded by saying it was "unfortunate" that I chose to escalate the situation -- missing yet another opportunity to demonstrate accountability. Our bill for a party of six, with no alcohol (minus the bubbly mentioned above) ordered, was more than $500. Bottom line: Based on our experience, I would caution others expecting a thoughtful or celebratory dining experience to consider other options.

Yelp
Truly a bummer...I went back through old reviews and decided to give the Conche another try due to my raving review. I LOVE braised short rib and was thrilled to see it was added as a regular menu item. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the same. Very small portion, lacked flavor, and didn't melt in your mouth. Old Fashion was OK. Espresso Martini and salad was fantastic! Brussels sprouts were just odd...don't even know how to explain. Waiter was sweet and attentive. I don't love the seating arrangement in the front of the restaurant...odd table placement and it feels like you're eating with everyone and part of their conversations. Back if the restaurant is much better. I'm sure we'll return but most likely just for cocktails.

Yelp
I came here for dinner tonight with a group of 6 adults and 5 kids after making a reservation for 5:15 PM. Unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing. We didn't leave until around 7:45 PM because everything moved extremely slowly. From the start, our server seemed uninterested and even a bit rude, giving us attitude instead of hospitality. Despite having a reservation and being promised a table that would accommodate our full party, things felt disorganized. The appetizer took far too long to arrive, and the main dishes were just as delayed. By the time dessert finally came out, we were already frustrated and tired of waiting. For a dinner that was supposed to be smooth and enjoyable, the pacing really ruined the experience for everyon. especially with kids involved. To make things worse, we noticed a surplus charge on the credit card, which was disappointing on top of everything else. Overall, this visit was far from what we expected. I hope the restaurant improves their service, communication, and billing so future guests don't have the same experience

Yelp
First time coming here, hearing that they're known for their desserts, so that's all I was expecting. But I am very impressed with everything about this restaurant! Firstly, a big shoutout to our waiter Kinsey, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items. He really helped make our customer experience amazing and definitely a reason to come back to the restaurant as well. Also was able to try out some of their sweet/chocolate offerings, which were all so great - probably the best smores I've had in my life too honestly. The drinks and food were amazing as well. I got two berry fizz drinks, which were both tasty with the hints of chocolate on the rim and on the tip of the drink. The drink was a good blend of sweet and sour. I got the lamb cigars which were crispy and tasty, alongside the given sauce. I got the try the butternut squash soup and pork belly buns, which were both so delicious. I got the raspberry chocolate cake for dessert and it was an amazing way to end the night; not too sweet for the cake, and the other elements on the plate had their own unique tastes and bits as well. The interior is nice and decorated elegantly. I really enjoyed this place and definitely would make a trip to the Ashburn area again to try out more of their foods and actually get an entree, since I was too full to have one this day. Definitely worth the 5/5 score!

Yelp
The food is so delicious here! I have been here two times and both times the service has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a place for special occasions. While the portions are on the "fancy small" side, the flavor packs a punch. Each dish I believe has some sort of chocolate element in it. The ambiance is cozy romantic. Towards the back of the restaurant they have a flower wall that is super pretty. You won't be disappointed if you dine here!

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and overall it was a pleasant experience! The ambiance of the place feels more upscale. There's indoor and outdoor dinning options. If you sit outdoors just know you're right on the very small sidewalks of Leesburg village so folks will constantly be walking right next to you as you eat. Also, there aren't umbrellas and obviously flies and bugs you'll have to worry about. We did the 5 course dining experience for $110. Each course had two options to select from so we both selected one so we could try it all. The five course surprised me entirely! Everything tasted phenomenal!! My only complaint was the slow cooked brisket was VERY FATTY! They gave me a chunk of the fat so I only had two bites of actual meat which was disappointing. The five course felt more like a 7 course. They brought out a palette opener and closer which were both perfect ways to start and close out the meal. I would highly recommend the multi-course dinning experience. They're delicious, filling, and it's a great way to step outside your comfort zone and try something new. My favorite on the prix fixed menu was the: -pork bun -Baby Arugula &6 Manchego Cheese Salad -Asparagus and Prosciutto -crispy calamari -verlasso salmon -both the flat iron steak and the braised short rib (as long as they don't give only fat for the braised short rib) - Maniari Drinks we ordered the $25 shooter flight and the conch old fashioned as well as an "experience style" Soot and rye drink. The scoot and rye was my favorite it was more like a Manhattan and they bring out the smoker. The old fashioned had chocolate bitters which to me made it feel like a watered down less strong old fashion. The scoot and rye was super good and was a little sweeter, smoky, and still held true to its bolder characteristics. It had chocolate and a cherry at the bottom. I would deff get the soot and rye again as well as the Moussetache. The moussetache is for all my chocolate indulgers. It's sweet and I save The service was good! Most of the servers were well educated on both the restaurant and menu items. They worked good as a team as well. They also accommodated to additional needs. I really appreciated the experience and service. I highly recommend a reservation because it's a smaller restaurant and it does get busy. Also, the experience dinning like multi-courses take a while. Our 5 course took about an hour and a half close to two hours.

Yelp
Me and my husband went there for our anniversary And starting with the concept of the place are inspiration with chocolate is quite impress more delicate than that is every beverage drink and food they are add on some element with chocolate in it which I'm more surprised because it's somehow chocolate in entree has blend it together so well. and of course the finale, we are getting ( Manjari ) guess we don't need to say how wonderful it is ! Perfect dinner night , thanks to the chef

Yelp
Amazing!!! Such a unique experience and so delicious. They specialize in chocolate and ALL of their menu items have some form of chocolate in it. So cool!!! I did the three course meal and ordered a drink as well. I had a cocktail named "Fetish", tasted like a chocolate strawberry! It was not too strong and honestly pretty refreshing. For the appetizer I had a Caesar salad; a staple. What made this one different than the others was that it had some bitter shards of chocolate that surprisingly worked very well. For my entree I had the Braised Short Rib, the highlight of the night for sure. It was so tender and savory. I ate the whole thing up with nothing left on the plate! Lastly, for dessert I had the Jivara which was a chocolate cake. It was good but a little too chocolatey for me (I know lol). Overall, a great time and would like to go back to try their brunch menu!

Yelp
The Conche restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. The shrimp & grits were incredibly flavorful, and the "Only Fashion" cocktail was amazing. Our food arrived hot and fresh, enhancing the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend for a unique and satisfying meal!

Yelp
Very disappointing. This place went from one of my favorites to not a chance I would return. Bubbles and chocolate consisted of three shot type glasses and dots of chocolate... a far cry from what I have experienced previously at this location. I don't know if the burger was picked up in the frozen section of the grocery store, but if it was, it was from the sale section; I've certainly had better frozen burgers. As a matter of fact, I consider Wendy's to be gourmet compared to what I was served. The flat iron steak was more fat than meat and my happy hour fries were three times the size of the fries served with the steak. It was just an overall huge disappointment. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star is because I am ever the optimist that they can turn things around. And to add insult to injury, we walked into an empty restaurant with a reservation and we were seated at the smallest table there. When we left, only 5-6 tables were occupied, so glad our early reservation afforded us the opportunity to sit at a tiny table in the back near the bathrooms.

Yelp
This restaurant had INCREDIBLE service. As soon as we were done eating, they cleared plates immediately. The waiter came by at the perfect time intervals and was cognizant of our every need. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I wish we could've stayed and eaten more, but everything was so filling because the portions were gigantic! We took some chocolates to go. All chocolates are made in store. I highly recommend trying the weekend brunch menu - huevos rancheros was perfect! Lots of seating inside and public parking (a no payment garage).

Yelp
The concept was intriguing and the food was very good, but sometimes cocoa nibs didn't add anything to the dish - it was just there to be in there. Regardless, a really good meal. We went for our anniversary in January.

Yelp
I called ahead to have a hot chocolate ready. manager said they would have it ready. Got there no drink ready. after waiting some time for them to make it and bring it out to me I gave her a $20 bill which she said give me a few minutes because she could not give me from the. Fast-forward 7 to 10 minutes later I have to go to the back and hunt her down to get. Then I didn't even get all the change. I had to go to all three different people working there to get to the lady who runs the place and then ask her to give me the correct change. She did not apologize or anything after I told her, I was running to a movie and I was going to be late etc...

Yelp
Wow, the difference maker here is really the staff. We had Wendi, who explained the history, the chocolate, and the chefs vision, really helpful. The fixed priced menu seems the way to go if you do the math. Appetizer, main course, and dessert. I had the rib buns, salmon, and monkey bread. Including pics that really don't do it justice, just and incredible meal. Bigger inside than it looks from the outside, great place to celebrate anything.

Yelp
Took my dad here on a Friday night for his birthday. (Make sure to make a reservation, they tend to get pretty filled up especially on the weekends) I made reservation so we were sat right away. Everyone here was very friendly, from the host to our server taking care of us. For appetizer we ordered the Merguez Lamb Cigars and the Steamed Pork Buns. The Merguez Lamb Cigars was an interesting take, I actually was not expecting it to come out deep fried but it was very good. It came like a thin eggrolls with chermoula spiced labneh and drizzled with Tupelo honey. The Steamed Pork Buns was something I've ordered before and loved. It came with Spiced Cripsy Pork Belly. The pork belly was so nice and tender. It came with cherry thyme compote, gochujang aioli, and furikake. Definitely messy if you try and pick it up and eat by hand, best way is just a knife and fork! For entree my dad ordered the Flat Iron Steak. Unfortunately, for that order they were unable to do it medrare, I'm guessing because it was sous vide. The temperature definitely came out to be a medium to medium well.It was a Cocoa-Rubbed Flat Iron, Red wine bacon and mushroom sauce, garlic infused goat cheese potato purée, with herb butter and seasonal vegetable medley. I got to try a bite of it and all the flavors came together so nicely. I ordered the Spiced Crusted Rouen Duck. I absolutely loved this dish. I was hoping to order the Lamb Rack that I got last time, unfortunately they didn't have it on the menu but the Duck was just as good. It came with a really good creamy coconut grits and sweet curry scented baby carrots. It came with a zesty orange honey glaze and topped with pomegranate seeds. Very flavorful dish and the duck was cooked perfectly to medrare. For dessert, we ordered the Match Made in Heaven for my dad's birthday dessert. They decorated the plate and bought out a candle to celebrate. I have come here three times now, and everytime, the dessert never disappoints. I love how all the flavors are always so incorporated together so nicely. This desert came with white chocolate mousse, coconut cake, dark chocolate & raspberry, rose Bavarian cream, raspberry caramel and lychee sorbet. This was such an amazing dessert and not overly sweet. This is an awesome and unique restaurant and I always have an amazing time. I love how they incorporate the "chocolate" theme into many of their dishes as well as mixed certain ingredients you wouldn't think would go well together. There's also a large variety of chocolate showcased when you walk in the restaurant to purchase as well, great gifting idea!!

Yelp
Poor Service...good food. It was the Saturday before Halloween, so our waitress was dressed like a dark angel with black wings and a halo and slightly spooky make up. When my mother-in-law asked for extra spoons so we could taste her soup she never brought them. We had to ask a man who is probably a manager and he brought them right away. When we asked for something, it took a long, long time. Also, she an attitude that seem like we were bothering her or she was superior to us maybe. We were kind and courteous and didn't ask for much. Very surprised at subpar service at such a nice high-end restaurant. Unfortunately, it took away from having a pleasant experience. The brave short ribs were delicious. The four scallops were small, but had great elevated flavors. The risotto was good. It is French style cuisine.

Yelp
My friend and I came on a Friday night for dinner. When I first arrived, the hostess seemed confused and kept asking me for the gender of my other party. I am not sure why that was important in seating placement. I had made a reservation beforehand so I got seated relatively quick. The server was nice and prompt. She answered our questions and gave good recommendations. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke and Campanelle Pasta along with our flights. Although the ahi tuna poke is an appetizer, it was a full portion. Both our orders were very yummy and the flights were also very well made. It's a little tight inside and we had to sit right next to another couple on the same couch which I didn't enjoy too much. Especially in this time of age, I would expect more space between each tables. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I went with my boyfriend and we got a bunch of different drinks and a dessert (no food) and it was so fun. It's pricey but the drinks were so unique and fun and I liked almost everything I got!
