The State Room Will Be Capitol Hill’s New Private Party Zone - Eater DC

"Management says its next incarnation — the State Room — is inspired by the name of the middle (and largest) room inside now-defunct 201 Bar. Unlike its former function as a place for interns and cash-strapped government workers to blow off steam while adhering to a budget, the State Room will be a “strictly private space,” the team tells Eater." - Tierney Plumb

This place is so Janky! Came here for a drug test and tell me why these people have set up shop in a club. Only 1 person working! Crazy! With multiple people ready to take a drug test. The same lady doing drug testing is doing the fingerprinting; she could barely work that equipment for that as i patiently wait to darn near piss myself. Highly don’t recommend this facility.

Great place with great staff. I went in for my drug test and it was over very quick. I stuck around to learn more about all the programs inside of the building.

The place is unreliable, Please it’s a request never ever schedule your exam here. It’s rubbish it was so noisy, someone was talking out loud, someone is listening songs on high volume, and the room is so small you will be able to get distracted verryyy easily.

Once a bar until the pandemic, the basement space is now a center for fingerprinting, drug testing, and youth center. They also rent their space out for events. I went for my fingerprints and the process was quick and smooth. The staff were friendly too!

I visited this location to have work verification. Upon entering I wasn’t sure who was who. Indivduals( young) standing and walking around. After forwarding my information to the young lady at the front door, I was informed that the young people were there for trying in-house. Also had a chance to order some food, which was good, especially the grits. A few suggestions could be made to make the visit a better one. Also, I observed a couple of young men behind the counter preparing breakfast sandwiches with no gloves or and also arranging them in the warmer without gloves on. Mr. apollos, the cook was very professional in his service…. I will be visiting again for an appointment to conduct a possible service agreement. Much success to All of you. J.Jones

The woman there is not familiar with system and she behaves terrible with clients. She literally shouted at me because she didn’t know how to fix the system issue. I just can’t understand why she was upset because it was me who missed the appointment and then I had to make another appointment.

Went for a preemployment drug screen (it says they are open on saturdays), but no one was there. They need to update their hours and their website.
