The Container Store at the HBA shopping center is one of my favorite stores in Sacramento. They carry almost every type of storage in their big store. I got many new containers or other storage from this store with some new ideas too! The store is very clean and the workers are very attractive and helpful. They're happy to answer the questions you may have related to the product there or give me a new idea sometimes!

This is a beautiful store. They have a wonderful selection but oddly enough they are lacking many sizes of plastic storage containers. The closet design section looks outstanding and has very helpful people staffing the area. They carry hangers for clothes, balls, and bicycles. Oh yeah, the restrooms are clean and will kept.

The lady who worked there kept following us and after 3 times of saying I didn’t need any help. She proceeded to stare at us from afar. Won’t be back shame because I was here on Sunday completely different experience wasn’t bothered at all.

Ordered a Sterilite 7.5 gallon kitchen trash can. The price was incredible, about 1/3 of the price at Walmart and 1/2 the price of Amazon. I placed the online order for store pickup at this location and it was ready for pickup 25 minutes later. Parked in a designated curbside pickup place, called the store and a associate was hanging it to me in 3 minutes or less. Incredible price and customer service.

This is a fantastic store. There are so many incredible storage ideas. I just wandered through the store and brainstormed, thinking of ways to make my life simpler and more organized. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I highly suggest taking a moment to stop in and see what wonderful ideas they have in store for you.

Found these awesome lightsaber display holders!! 🤣 Technically they are meant for a broom, but how awesome was this idea? Also got the acrylic corner shelves for display. I’m just proud as a parent my kid loves Star Wars, so I feel like I’ve won at this parenting gig and I will be returning to the Container Store for more Star Wars display supplies. The staff at the store were amazing and helped me find everything I was looking for.

I shop at many Container Stores for my job with The Home Edit, but Brianna at the Arden Way location was so incredibly helpful that I had to write a review. She made sure my shop was as smooth as possible and made sure I was helped to the car with my carts full of product. Thank you Brianna!

One of my favorite stores in Los Angeles is the Container Store. I was pleasantly surprised to see a location while Sacramento. This store was much bigger in size as compared to the stores in LA. This store was well-stocked, clean, prices on most items were reasonable and the male employee who assisted my family and I (I did not get his name :( my bad ) was very polite, friendly and professional. Thank you

My husband needed some odd-sized containers for his gear. We couldn't find the right size at all the usual stores. Shopping at the Container Store was like a trip back in time. We were immediately greeted and a couple of helpful employees helped him find just what he needed. There were several other customers and all were offered friendly help if needed. Best of all nothing in the store was under lock and key or tied down. It made it very easy to browse.

I love everything about this store. I am the crazy person who takes pantry items out of a box, and then put some into a clear plastic box in my pantry! Everything in this store is my love language. I've purchased alpha closet systems, I've purchased fun desk items. I've purchased home office supplies. It doesn't matter if I'm spending $5, or $5,000, the staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Never knew what this place was for and had imagined it sold boxes and shipping services like a UPS store. Well it's actually sort of cool with storage and organization solutions for every room of your home or office. We picked up some items to help make room in our kitchen and they worked wonders. This is the place to come to if you are fighting for some space in your place lol.

The hype is REAL. I have only been to a store once, and it was back in the Bay Area. I am happy that there is one that is closer to where we currently live, and I love that there are so many options for everything you may want. I love that everyone was ready and willing to help, our checkout was quick and painless, the store is bright and clean, and there was plenty of parking. We will definitely make our way back soon and be there often.

Feel like I could spend a good chunk of time here just looking around and spending a lot of money here too. Kinda dangerous. But came here for an online pick up and got distracted and bought a couple of other items. Shelves are well stocked. Clean. And customer service is helpful and friendly.

I walked in the store and thought what was a nice store. It looked really good and had interesting products but at the end I and my mother was being tracked by three of there workers. I presume because I was wearing sweats and a tank top. Worst because i wasn't there normal "demographic". I know this is the case because when i was pay for my items one of there employees was just staring at me wait for me to leave the store. Im never shopping here again.

I LOVE This store. And I am sooo OCD. Need a new container?? Where do you go??? To the Container Store!! I haven't been to a Container Store for a few years now. I got a new dog and needed a container for his doggie treats. Of Course they have every possible container and I found what I was looking for very quickly. But I strolled about for a couple of minutes and remembered that I needed some more hangers. So I found some sturdy PURPLE Ones - only $6.99 for a dozen. I grabbed 2 packs and went to the counter. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady, who welcomed me, and asked for my phone number to look me up in the system. I gave it to her, but also noted that I haven't been to this store in years and that was in L.A. She entered my number and - well I'll be darned!!! I had a 15% off in my account. So, I found EXACTLY what I wanted and then some. I got great customer service, AND I got 15% off my total purchase. What more can one ask for??

We recently purchased our first home which had 3 closets with no organization system inside. It was one of our first must-do projects to make our house a "home". However, it felt daunting with all the closet organization products out there and the practically endless customization options. After a little research, we decided we wanted to look further into the Elfa system from Container Store. We stopped in this store and had no idea where to start. Kaitlyn greeted us and offered her help - and we are SO GLAD she did. She made the whole process understandable, easy, and provided good recommendations to make the most of our closet spaces. She also offered us a great deal which helped to make the project affordable. The whole project took several iterations on the designs, phone calls back and forth with Kaitlyn and the store. Frankly it was all worth it, and every step of the way we felt we were taken care of and treated with patience and respect. I can't say enough good things about Kaitlyn and I'm so glad we had her help along the way. Our master bedroom closet will eventually need a system closet system after we do some much needed renovations. And when that time comes, we are absolutely coming back to this store and hope to work with Kaitlyn again. Also a note about Elfa - it's great! If you are even slightly handy you should have no problem installing these systems. We love the finished product - and now have more closet space than we ever dreamed. :-)

Tingles my OCD heart with delight! I think my obsession with this place has more to do with my extreme excitement to organize my home(s), versus the actual store. But every time I walk through the sliding doors, I allow this place to tell me what I need. Very akin to Target. And I always leave giddy, ready to organize my humble home. Seriously, everything this store offers is quality, despite being pricey. I stay. I pay their prices. And I have a well-organized home. I love their rewards program, because it also allows me to return items without bringing an actual receipt, becuase their system has all of that embedded in it. It's such an added bonus. I love that they now have less-expensive store-branded organizing items OR you can pay for the name-brand ones. Your choice. they literally have every single thing one could need to settle into a new home, organize chaos, or make life a little easier by keeping spaces organized and/or clean. The staff seems to have a high turnover, but they also are always helpful. Except when they are really strict about borrowing their rolling cart to take your purchases outside. It seems as if at one point someone might have stolen it, or multiple times, but with a litter persuasion, they will let you. Random tidbit, but good to know if you have a large purchase. It'll always be a love-hate relationship...

8/23/2022: I desperately needed purchasing more Container Store's rubber/steel hangers which after several years' usage-the hangers never bent, are undoubtedly reliable, the hangers never damaged my designer dresses, and also, are heavy duty lasting for DECADES whereas five years ago, I regrettably purchased ninety-six Costco's disintegratingly weak, felt hangers which sadly, all Costco's hangers are now unusably broken! In 2017, I purchased the same rubber and steel type hangers at the Sacramento Container Store but, the steel hangers I purchased included heavy duty, rubber clips attached to the hangers in order, hanging matching pants or skirts. To present date, NONE of the steel hangers' rubber have disintegrated nor have the hangers lost their tensile strength, i.e., the rubber attached to the hangers still appear brand new! I know these hangers may cost more than other hangers available on online or other stores; however, investing purchasing Container Store's steel hangers means I won't spend more money purchasing worthless hangers such as the worthless hangers I regrettably purchased at Costco which are now thrown into the recycling bin!

The name says it and they mean it! LOCATION: In the Howe Bout Arden shopping center near Michaels. DECOR: Very modern and minimalistic color palette. Organized and open. PRICE: You're going to get what you pay for. These products are quality and they last. I think the drawer sets (depending on how you build it and the size) are going to be about $70-$120 STAFF: Always ready to help. They know a lost customer when they see one. Lol. I've had nothing, but good service. Scratch that. Great service. EXPERIENCE: Every time I come in here, I got to come in and stick strictly to the list with room for no more than three not on the list items because I can go in here and buy my whole life. They have a container for a lot of things, but not everything. They're kind of like Target. They have some really good products, but they don't have everything you would think they would have considering some of the other products they carry that may be similar or even part of a set. This is unusual for The container Store, but I'm very specific and picky about some of the products I use and if it were me, I would have arranged arrive products differently. Also, they change out products quickly so good luck on trying to get a matching drawer set for the dress that you bought last month. They're doing away with natural woods and pretty much any color in some of their sections. Overall, great place to shop.

I didn't think to shop here until I got my own place. The prices can be on the higher side, but they do have niche and quality things you can't otherwise get anywhere else. So far my favorite purchases have been this countertop composting bin. It's silicone so that you can easily clean it. It also has a tab where you can invert the bin to get scraps out rather than slapping the bottom of a container. They also do sales pretty frequently, like purchasing a certain amount and then getting a discount from that amount. Seems like the purchase minimum would be about $100-$150. They seem to frequently get new stock here. Staff are pretty friendly. Exchanges/returns also seem relatively easy.

OCD Gal's heaven! I can spend all day here. I would LOVE to work here! Arranging these beautiful bins all day long , heavenly! The staff here are super helpful and the store is nice and organized well. $200 later and I know I'll be back for more.

I have spent thousands of dollars here over the past 5 years. I "created" four large closets. But their service has gone downhill. It is now hard to find help to reach items or answer a question. I will only order online and not shop in the store. I ordered an item online, to be picked up in the store, that showed they had 5 in the store when I ordered it. Then I received an email an hour later saying they had none in the store and they would let me know when it would be in. I did not hear anything for a week. When I called the store I was told that their inventory doesn't update daily and my item should take another 3 weeks to arrive. I received an email yesterday that my item was in the store and ready for pick up. And I had 4 days to pick it up! So their website shows false information with inventory; it takes 4 weeks for my order to arrive; but I only have 4 days to pick it up. This used to be one of my favorite stores, but they have lost a customer.

This is a very special store. They're focused on all the storage items. Boxes, cups, cabinets, cans, anything that can hold things. They have it. The quality of the products that are available in the store is very good. Of course, the price is based on the quality of items. You get what you pay for is always true. The employees are very helpful in this location. They will always give you some idea or subjection if you needed some professional opinions! The parking lot of this store is big and clean. They're far away from the other stores in the same shipping center. I have no problem getting a parking space in front of the store whenever I'm there. If you're looking for good quality storage items that you have a hard time finding somewhere else. This is the store you should try. I think you'll not be disappointed!

The store miss advertising the sale price. The label said bogo on the items but when check out at the counter they said 25% off each item. Never comeback again

I had a great experience at the Container Store. Bob and Cedric both went out of their way to help me figure out a complex Elfa problem, and they were both exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful.

After attending a nearby Yelp event I happened to notice this Container Store located in the same shopping center. I couldn't wait to return on my day off to explore this place in detail! The day finally arrived when I urged Joe K to come with me to check out this store of intrigue! I am all for organization and decluttering my home environment, which can be a daunting task to say the least. The moment we entered the store, I could feel the ideas flowing through my brain synapses. In fact Joe and I could barely "contain" ourselves as we closely inspected every type of storage container ever created. It's not often when we find ourselves in deep discussion on what would work best for keeping our home neat and tidy. There is so much merchandise to choose from in size, colors, and shapes to help fit in with your needs. But there is a lot more than containers here. There is shelving, kitchen stuff, gadgets, pet supplies, gift wrap, bathroom decor, garage storage, cabinetry, etc.... If you have a room or rooms in need of organization, you just might find that great idea here! Even though we only came to see the store, we made several purchases that were very reasonably priced! I was so impressed with this store that I signed up for their "POP" program (Perfectly Organized Perks), to receive email offers, specials and discounts. I look forward to returning with my updated shopping list in hand and discounts automatically waiting in my account!

I found out about this store from Pinterest when every women mentioned about this store. I figured let's check it out! Arrived there very early around 10am when they're just open. Already 2 customers inside. When I walked in, it felt like I was in my playground!! I was so excited to check everything out! Spent about more than 2hours here, yes without you realized and then cha Ching!! This store is a specialty store that just carries everything about containers! It's all for the home, from kitchen ( food containers such as OXO ), bathroom, closet, office storages and for the fur babies food containers! From plastic, aluminum to bamboo storages. They're also have trash cans. They're also have every cool gadget for the kitchen such as for the kitchen drawers, under the sink stuff. I was looking for more containers to keep everything neat. It's hard to find everything at other retail stores but here, sure thing I found everything that I really need. Some of the price are not quite cheap and I think a bit over price especially something that I can get from a dollar store. Sure maybe the quality is way much better but no, I won't spend about $8 just for one plastic container that I'd put under my kitchen sink. They're also have section special clearance, but that day, it was all just for kids stuff. They also have member ID thing that you can get the first discount when you join the membership. It's all free! Service were great! Very friendly and helpful associates. I'll be back!! Wish in the future, they will considering to open in Reno/ Sparks area, it'd be awesome!!! The store located in the strip mall near with every other big retail stores like Homegoods, Burlington!

I've been to a container store about 5 times over the last 20 years. 3X in the pandemic trying to organize. They never have what I'd want. Clear 12x12" ish boxes. Never. They do have other things that are interesting that you wouldn't know you might want, but could totally live without. For me it's a waste of a 30 minute drive. Empty shelves and reorganizing always going on. I kept coming recently thinking I've got to hit it on a completely restock set up store. Nope. Today it was the most disorganized and empty spots I've ever seen. Last time they had nothing I went to the dollartree and got 12X12"ish baskets that are working out well. I'm thinking I won't ever need to come back here.

$300 dollar later, but I for sure found what I wanted. So I'm not made at what I spent here on my first visit ever in the "container store". It was nice to be acknowledged within our first 5 -10 mins of walking in to this location. So that alone calls for a possible visit again in the near future. I'm all about customer aero when I'm shopping. I didn't have to look for Ana assess they found us first. Decent sized location. Shopping here gave me so many ideas as well as made me aware of what's out there to make our home life sooo much more easier and organized. This trip we purchased a pantry wall shelf, which worked out great! For spending the amount we did and signed up for the loyalty program we saved $10 right away and was sent another email coupon for our next visit. I also noticed that at the front of the store they offer a "pick up in store" option too. They only interference that we had was after everything was rung up the register froze up , had to wait for a reboot only to be told to move to the next available register to be rung up all over again piece by piece. But as mentioned a cool place to get your organizational skills started.

Our cashier was so patient and helpful. She allowed me to join their club and use the discount on my first transaction!

This store is pretty big. They have a lot of containers to chose from, as suggested by the store's name. There's a lot of storage containers for clothes, jewelry, school supplies, etc. the store has several different section such as laundry, or office.

I LOVE this store! Went to the one in Las Vegas a few years ago and was happy to discover this one. It is located in the same center as the new Century theater. What makes them special is that they have ALL things for organization. Things you don't even think about or knew existed. I usually spend hours browsing. Downside is that it is pricey. While some items are worth it, some are not that you can find elsewhere so do your homework. For example, they had a small nothing special ottoman for $299. Huh? But I also like the high quality Elfa standards you can get for a customized wall and did one for my pantry. Lots of shelving in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and materials. The people here are SUPER nice and helpful each time I have gone in. I walked out spending $200 for my new home. It won't be an everyday trip but if you need that odd thing to fill X- space, you might find it here.

Wow everything you could want in storage! Lots of ideas and some cool Christmas stocking stuffers! Will be back to get more stuff I don't need but until then Yelp long Yelp loud!

Sooooooo after being at other locations like Santana Row and esp SF, I was pretty dismayed of the customer service and vibe I picked up. There wasn't that much helpfulness and friendliness as I witnessed my husband receive in comparison to myself lol. In SF and elsewhere, the workers were SO friendly and accommodating. This location did not have many items in stock, not all prices were listed and still felt largely disorganized although there were signs but the categories didn't flow as well as in other locations. For instance why are hooks all the way at the end away from shelving units and closet/storage space? I'm glad social distancing is largely observed. It's great there's a location in Sacramento but agh, we need progressive and inclusive vibes, please.

Come here for all your storage needs! They have everything for home to kitchen to office storage! I came in to find a container for my gift wrap for birthdays and holiday and the young lady helped me find it and I even found storage for my sons room for his legos!

"The Container Store" (at the popular Howe Bout Arden shopping center) was the first of many new retail establishments to vacate the area where the old Century Theaters and (the less than inspiring) Motel 6 once stood. And considering I don't frequent this area that much anymore, I just had to check this place out since I have never stepped foot into one. I had first heard of "The Container Store" several years back and have always been curious of what types of merchandise they specialize in. As I had mentioned, this place shares the same parking lot as HomeGoods, Nordstrom Rack, and the all-new Century Theaters. Parking is actually very spacious and was not an issue, even when I came on a Sunday afternoon in December. As far as the inside goes, they are very spacious with large aisles while there is are upscale restrooms in the back of the building. Its hard to compare The Container Store to anything else out there but it reminds me of an IKEA/Staples/Home Depot setup. The main focus here is primarily storage; closet containers, trash bins (of all sizes), and organizers for every room of the house. Additionally, the store itself carries a generous amount of kitchen, bath, laundry, travel, and even pet products that go above and beyond what I've seen from any other major retailer. For those who might have an office or work space that are looking for a specific theme or color, this place will have you covered. Here you can customize your workstation in all colors of the rainbow. All of the merchandise is however, very trendy and modern meaning that if you're looking for any vintage one-of-a-kind storage items, I would avoid coming here. One thing I do want to point out is that many (if not all) of the items here are overpriced! Especially when comparing some of the same things that sell for a few bucks less at a Target or even Staples. I was actually pricing a bistro lunch box here; The Container Store was selling it for $9.99 while HomeGoods (which is coincidentally in the same parking lot) was selling the same exact product for only $6.99. So a word to all, do your research! Overall, The Container Store is a great addition to the Arden-Arcade neighborhood while being its first location to debut in the greater Sacramento area. As wonderfully stocked and organized as this place is, I probably won't frequent it very often. But if you are looking for a very specific home organizational item, then this place is a wonderful alternative to the more well-known retail establishments!

The line was a bit long to get in, and the products weren't well stocked, but we know there's a lot of changes going on right now... but overall this place is great for getting organized. I would rate customer service a 4/5.

Just looking until... Came here for the first time this weekend with the intent to just look around and check it out since my daughter and I were already here at the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping plaza. But we didn't come for this... we came to the plaza for some ice cream at CREAM! LoL We walked inside and immediately I was fascinated with the colorful plastic hangers to the left... walked around some more, checking out each aisle starting on the left side of the store... looking... looking... hmm, closet shelvings, containers of all shapes and sizes and flat ones that go underneath the bed, a whole aisle dedicated to organizing jewelry (I don't own that many trinkets and blings to even fill up the organizers they sell on this row), then we came across more than one way to organize shoes! I got excited! and, no, it's not for me... it's for my teen! She owns more shoes than former Philippine First Lady, Imelda Marcos! Plus the original one we purchased from IKEA last week didn't really work for her because it doesn't hang properly on the door unless I use nails or something to hold the weight of all the shoes. Bam! first item on our cart... moving along, looking... looking... there's a travel section, then next aisle are items for the bathroom, then the next... acrylic organizers for makeup stuff! and, once again, not for me. All the make up and accessories I need fit in one drawer: hair brush, blow dryer, lipstick and eyeliner. My teen, on the other hand, needs an organizer -sigh- drop in the second item inside our cart. By this time we have almost reached the end of the left part so we cross over the other side and brought us to the Office section. Just looked around that whole area... looking... looking and we are now somewhere in the middle of the store and came across some colorful plastic organizers that you can purchase small additional nesting parts to make little compartments. Teen wanted this instead for her make up stuff... and this one is much bigger!! Whaaa?? So out goes the original item and add two more. By this time I just wanted to pay for the items and leave before she wanted more stuff. We just zipped through looking at the kitchen aisles and headed straight to the cashier. The store has a lot to offer and fun to see different colors on the shelves while shopping for practical storage containers and organizers. Review #1050

This is an update on my review because it just got BETTER!!! I entered a raffle and I actually WON a $25.00 gift card!! It was so cool! Leah called me and informed me I won and I can pick it up at the store and spend it on anything! I finally got the chance to go back and Leah was the first to greet me she even remembers talking to me on the phone! Leah then informs Paul about the gift card and shortly after Paul comes out congratulating me! The staff here is so GREAT and they seem like they have so much fun at work! They have so much fun, it makes me want to work there!!! Wow! The container store is legit! If you love organizing your closet, bathroom, kitchen, office, or bedroom, this is a DREAM store for you!! They finally opened in January and I'm so glad I got the chance to check it out! This place is HUGE with every aisle with so many things to organize your needs! From shelving units, to shoe racks, to hampers, to hangers, to toilet cleaners, to gift boxes, to drawer compartments.... It has it ALL! You will want to spend a WHILE here because this place gives you numerous ideas of your home, room, bathroom or office! It makes you want to upgrade your organization! The employees are SUPER nice and helpful! I believe at least 4 employees came up to us asking us if we need help or just asking how we are! They have good customer service which is a huge plus! The location is good because it's right in the heart of Arden... Near the mall, next to many restaurants, and rumor has it... They are building a movie theater next door as well as a home goods!!! Prices are okay I guess... They have hit and miss sales but some things are real pricey.... Like a toilet cleaner doe $40!!! I know it looks nice but $40???? Also, I saw a nice hamper for $130!!!! Wow!!! Dirty clothes going into a $130 container!! Wow!!! But overall, I picked up some knick knacks for the house which I enjoyed putting up!! I look forward to our next visits!! I just love this place! What's not to love?! I could buy everything in sight! The store is doing a great job keeping things clean and sanitized. Right as you walk in there are spray cleaners for the shopping baskets and form sanitizer for customer hands. The store offers everything for organizing every room in the house. I came for large bins- I was able to buy 8 30-liter bins solid black, with lids for $9.99 a piece, such a deal! Plus in the laundry section I got a really cute felt dinosaur basket- perfect for storing my young child's dinosaur toys. I did come back the next day to get my bids, but before coming I called to see if they had anymore. This really amazing employee, DANIELLE answered the call and not only was she super friendly and helpful, but she also went out of her way to put my bins aside to make it easy and convenient when I arrived. I really appreciated her customer service. I also loved that this place had lots of curbside and pick up orders- that makes times like this better to shop.

Dont " contain" yourselves! This is the place to take that home "bucket" list and fill your "bins" with some pretty cool "receptacles"and other such wardrobe needs. Sacramento is growing up! Its been a long time in coming for us to have a store that will help us "store" our various home goods. This new and exciting store is going to change how you keep your home and work space neatly organized. Ive been shopping at their other locations for years, and LOVE so many things about this place. The grand opening (1/30/2016) brought hundreds of shoppers, eager to get organized, and a fully staffed store that cheered their new customers on, and made sure that everyone had a shopping cart! The Container store offers everything from some awesome scarf hangers, to a multitude of ways to re-do your inner sanctum, better known as your closet. The designers are able to look at your closet space and come up with a variety of ways to help you re-do the space. The pull out shoe racks, are AMAZING!! Don't stop with your closet, the bins, trash baskets, and even the travel rolls are well priced, well made, and OMG go check it out!! They offer so many cool and often unique items (check out the wall hooks) that will work with almost any decor. The under the counter bins are calling my name! MY FIRST TIME EVER SHOPPING HERE AND IM SOOOO DISAPPOINTED, ANNOYED, AND ANGRY. I recently had a house fire and am still recovering our furniture. I Ordered in May 1st (Closet dresser and toothbrush holder). May 13th I still heard nothing so I tried calling repeatedly and was hung up on every time. I've called in the day time, evening, on work breaks, lunch, first thing in the morning etc.. They have no email to reach them only a phone number that prompts you to push 2 for them to hang up. It's now coming up on a month and my stuff still hasn't been shipped! I understand the pandemic but I feel they as a business if knowing they weren't going to produce what is being bought should not be taking peoples money! Everyone who has shopped here knows they aren't not cheap.

I've been to this store a few times now. I love it. The shelves are neat and each section of the store is organized based on what you might need ( bathroom, kitchen,garage etc). The store has plenty of parking and the inside is spacious with lots of natural light. I always find what I need and so far it has held up after use. The lines can be long but they move quickly. I also like that they have s loyalty program and send coupons via email.

Love this place so much! I always end up with extra items. I just wish I can afford to get all the things I need for organizing my entire home. It will someday get done. I'm doing it a little at a time

The closet organizer I ordered is excellent and is very efficient. The only hurdle was the installation instructions. They are not "complete" as I was told they were. I had a challenge checking off each part to be sure everything was there, because the Items' numbers did not match the packing slip numbers. Then the instructions were vague for those not familiar with construction. I had to look up the instructions for installing sheet rock screws and since it is an unusual design I had to figure out part of it myslf. Also, the distance between mounting the vertical bars is not 12" or 18" unless you're sure to measure between the centers of the bars. (A question the customer service person answered incorrectly when I called.) Their 18" template for spacing is actually around 16 3/4" because it's made to be placed between the vertical bars. In other words: Clear and complete instructions would have saved me a couple of hours of figuring out how the installation is really supposed to be done. After we figured out how it was supposed to go together, everything snapped into place nicely. However, if you have weak arms you may want to have someone with muscle as backup for the tighter spots. I'm still glad I did it myself. A few hours putting everything into place saved me over $500 installation fee.

I went here only for two old-style milk crates, the store's main item. 9-bucks. Not bad. But the rest of the merchandise? Overpriced! At first I thought perhaps I was looking at stuff not made in China, understanding that US, Euro, or even Japanese merchandise may command a price premium. No. Same Made in China junk that proliferates everywhere else. And at premium prices! Sorry, I'll pay extra for US products and avoid this place.

First time here. Not sure what all the hype was about. Clerk at check out very polite, no other interaction with employees so didn't get all I came in for because I could find. Store was stocked haphazardly with stuff piled every which way.

I've been looking and looking for desk. It's been hard to find one I like at a reasonable price because of the pandemic and everyone working from home and or going to school virtually. I was so excited I found a desk at this store and it was ready for pick up a week later. Well a few days before I was due to pick up my desk, I received an email telling me my desk was now back ordered until October! I called in to cancel my order and the gentleman I spoke with said an employee gave the only desk left to another person and the employee didn't realize it was for an order placed the week before. Are you f'kin kidding me?! Wow, I used to love your store but this was just terrible service.

Terrible customer service. I walked around the store looking for an item as 3 people who worked there stood at the registers including a lead or manager chatting. I finally found what I needed as I could hear them still standing around the registers talking and socializing. As I walked to the registers, 2 the checkers clocked out w people in queue. They both looked up at me and said. Just way for the first register. Really??? Not a shocker why the storefront is disappearing. It's better customer service to type in a search engine what I need and it's delivered to my home... And I receive an email that says "Thank you" for your purchase. Here's a tip. Look up, greet people coming in and offer to assist. Leadership... start by leading by example. So disappointing!

This is my HAPPY PLACE!!! I waited for years for "My" Container Store to open. After driving to the bay area all the time to get my Container Store fix, it is open and awesome. I love that I can now just come here for 1-2 items for a specific project. The employees are always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Lots of parking, Easy in and out now that they put in an extra traffic light on Arden Way. I mostly come here for items to organize my art studio and my kitchen. This place is amaaaaaazzzziiinnnnnnng.

Want to get an estimate to redo a closet. Filled out their form online, they sent me an email to call them. Cakes, they transferred me...lady took my information and informed me that an in home consultation is $100. What the hell???? I'm getting other quotes for no charge...what kind of business is this::.waisted apt me my time.

Don't think you're gonna walk in to grab one item because you will miss out on something. My 2nd visit and I had more time to browse around the store and started filling up my basket with containers not on my list haha, but yes they have all sorts or containers for your home ,office, kitchen , closets , organize your jewelry , makeup and much more. I love walking down the aisles and looking at the smallest container to large ones for huge storage ideas. For the animal lover I did see some great food containers small and large. Staff are helpful and will come up to you and ask if you need any help looking an item. I purchased stacking bins that were on sale and also joined their POP Star for tips, perks and free shipping if you spend certain amount online shopping GREAT!
