This location has amazing ice cream. Im a big ice cream guy and have tried tons of places in the north shore but this place is my #1. They package everything nice always spoons and napkins always included.

What more could you ask for? Fresh baked cookies and huge scoops of yummy ice cream that is enough for 2 people for only $5! The first time we got 2 double chocolate cookies and the peanut butter cup ice cream. The second time (pictured) we got a salted caramel cookie, double chocolate cookie and peanut butter cup ice cream. Next time I am trying the cinnamon bun cookies with dino crunch ice cream!

Ice Cream overload (in the best way)! Had the ice cream sandwich at SOWA market with chocolate chip cookies and mint chocolate chip ice cream. I usually don't eat dessert but I had to when I saw this truck. I ate the whole thing myself (which was a little much) so I would recommend sharing or getting something smaller if you aren't planning on sharing.

A huge thanks to Cookie Monstah for the ability to rent out one of their trucks for our daughter’s and son-in-law’s Welcome Party the night before their wedding, Memorial Day weekend. They allowed for them to make their own combinations of ice cream cups/cookies and to name them - the names were based on the neighborhoods where they had lived in the North End. The service was great and the ice cream and cookies were top-notch! Thanks to Janelle for all her help in making this such a special occasion!

They were just on the Harvard campus with their food truck, very good fresh cookies and mint ice cream. Highly recommend!

The concept is fantastic. The fresh cookies and the unique ice creams make this place a must.

Summary: A bit expensive, but incredibly tasty! Great variety of flavors of cookies and ice cream respectively.

Cookies are good , Prices are reasonable, people are friendly enough. Excellent choices year round. Certainly a better pound for pound value than the flashier place down the street.

So let me tell you about the best ice cream sandwich I ever had... I was in the mood for something sweet and found this place through Instagram. We were greeted by Ryan and Jillian who were very polite and patient while we all figured out what we wanted. I ended up with the salted caramel cookie with totally turtle ice cream. The ice cream was good but the star of the show was the cookie. It was crispy on the outside but soft in the middle and it had the perfect amount of salt to balance out the sweetness. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Seriously... what's wrong with you guys? Why are your cookies/cookie sandwiches so damn good? JEEZ. I was taking a bite out of it and shaking my head like this should be illegal. Ordered the chocolate chip/cookies and cream ice sandwich and it was elite status. From the presentation (wrapped up in aluminum foil like a five guys burger sandwich) down to the texture/flavor. It's also dope that there is both a brick and mortar bake shop and separate food truck. Dope customer service as well. Absolutely zero complaints here.

Today I want to cookie monster and I asked for cookies and cream milkshake but instead I got a cookies and cream ice cream then I asked for a Eminem cookie and got an Oreo cookie.

Some, if not the best, cookies I've ever had in my entire life. They are unbelievably chewy despite being so huge! The chocolate chip cookies are my go to, but the salted caramel, m&m, and chocolate ones are so delicious. The ice cream sandwiches are incredible. I shipped myself a 6 pack of cookies the other day from the shop, and they came within 2 days and were so fresh and chewy. This place is incredible. The poor reviews are from people who'd rather eat crunchy chips ahoy from a Walgreens.

Great except if you show up at 8:55pm they will not make you a cookie quake because they close in 5 minutes and it takes them not even 5 minutes to make

Best cookies in town. Great gift for someone special. Sent Christmas gifts to family all over the country. They loved it!

Whoever thought of selling cookie ice cream sandwiches is a genius. A wide selection of cookies and ice creams together to make a classic treat... just such a great idea. There were probably 10 or so cookies, ranging from chocolate chunk to smores. All of which looked SO good! Then there are various ice creams to put between the cookies on the sandwich. Nomnomnom. I got a classic chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was so good!! My only gripe is the price. $5 for the sandwich or $5 for two cookies and a glass of milk. Seems steep. If I lived in the area this would be a rare treat to myself. The cookies are also sold individually and by the half or full dozen (which are boxes up nicely). The two women working there when I came in were VERY friendly! Seems like they have a great staff and great desserts. Definitely recommend.

After a long night of drinking and a little smoke my girlfriend and I wandered over to this amazing find. The cookies were like something out of a dream. And the ice cream was top notch. Definitely don't pass up if your in the area.

We came after a successful surgery for my daughter on her discharge day and we grabbed ice cream sandwiches to toast. These things are HUGE. I got the chocolate and coffee ice cream sandwich and it was way too big to eat at once so I got to save the other half for the next day. My husband got the Beach Bum which is a snickerdoodle sandwich with coconut ice cream. Totally amazing.

Amazing cookie sandwich!! Love it! A must try if you're in the area!! This is their store location, they have trucks all over Boston. Heard you have to check out their website to determine where the trucks are as they change from day to day. Worth trying to find one!

The sugar cookies were incredible!! And the ice cream is from Richardson's. I got a half dozen and my girlfriend got ice cream with a cookie on the side. We were at the Swampscott location and drove into Salem to eat everything. It made for a perfect little date night.

We hired the ice cream truck for a big event and it could not have been more perfect. The delicious ice cream cookies were enjoyed by everyone and amazing service by the driver and his coworker couldn't be better.

Best cookies ever! The cookies are homemade at the store, and while other cookie stores come close, they'll never achieve the care put into these cookies and the tastiness of the final product that Cookie Monstah achieves (Insomnia, I'm looking at you). My personal favorite is the cookie sandwich with peanut butter cookies and chocolate ice cream. While it's a little too big to put in my mouth, it's the best. Different from the trucks, which we've visited on previous visits to Boston, the bake shop has some bake treats, such as pound cake, some cake that smelled sweet and had strawberries in it, and others that rotate on, apparently, a consistent basis. And apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this place is the best. We visited at 2-2:30 and people just kept coming! As we were about to leave the line was practically out the door.

Leave the baking to the experts on this one! Nothing beats these cookies. Each of my family members has a favorite! Mine is the Oreo stuffed chocolate chip, my son loves the brookie, my daughter digs the M&M, and my husband lives for the PB cookies. Add in some ice cream and you have a little slice of heaven on earth!

Love their treats - especially ice cream sandwiches! If you haven't tried them, do it! I love the basic chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream but have tried other options too and all are fresh and delicious!

So yummy, such a big menu, safe way to have a date night and these dudes were super nice and patient even though we took forever to figure out our order!

Cookie Monstah opened a new location in my hometown of Needham Massachusetts. Their ice cream is solid. They serve Richardson's which is hard to find in my area. However, from a pure flavor standpoint, the cookie was extremely subpar. I would prefer a toll house cookie that I can simply buy at my local grocery store and heat up in 10 minutes in the comfort of my own home. I'm addition to the underwhelming taste of the cookie, it was too hard for my liking. For example, I ordered an ice cream sandwich and when I took my first bite the cookie was too firm and the ice cream slid out the back. I then had to transfer my ice cream sandwich into a bowl and eat it with a spoon. It is honestly a disgrace to have such average cookies when the word cookie is in the name of the establishment.

Best dessert shop if you are craving a unique and delicious ice cream sandwich! You can choose two different types of cookies from a variety of flavors plus an ice cream of your choice to make your sandwich. The cookies are amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids loved it as did my husband and myself! We will be back for sure.

As always, the cookies and ice cream were delicious. I've come here a couple other times and have had great experiences. Today, the usual, super nice lady was busy so a guy waited on my sister and me. If you don't want to deal with customers and you can't hide it, you shouldn't work with customers. Rather than asking for "one double chocolate cookie with coffee Oreo ice cream" I asked for "The-Cup-O-Joe with one cookie". His response should have been, "sure". Instead he said something that I couldn't hear but I could tell from the set of his face and his overall demeanor that there was some sass. When he repeated I found out he was basically scolding me for not using the correct "Cookie Monstah lingo". I'm aware I'm not getting a sandwich and so was he because I asked for one cookie. When my sister ordered she asked for the cookies on the side and it was like didn't know what "on the side meant," so it was her turn to be scolded. Again, completely aware that cookies on the side doesn't technically make a sandwich but it also doesn't the things she's asking for. His whole attitude was unnecessary and not at all appreciated. Maybe one day I'll go back again and get waited on by someone else so I can try and forget about this terrible experience, but for today, all set with Cookie Monstah!

They have the best cookies. The cookies are so thick, warm and chewy. They taste the best with ice cream! Nice people and environment there. Would go there again!

Fantastic selection of cookies - any flavor you're in the mood for they will have it. They also sell ice cream treats and coffees. We went with a S'mores cookie and an Oreo stuffed cookie. Both were good although not sure if it was mislabeled but the Oreo stuffed wasn't stuffed with Oreos but with chocolate chips. Still delicious though. We also tried the coffee Oreo ice cream between two cookies sandwich. The ice cream was amazing. I think it's from Richardson's as I've seen that listed on their flavor board. The two cookies were just okay. Trying to eat it as an ice cream sandwich really didn't work but the flavors together were decadent. Prices are good - we didn't pay more than we expected for three quality items. Service was nice - the woman behind the counter was able to recommend some cookie choices. If I'm in the mood for a home made cookie that's big and rich then I will definitely be back.

1st time here we both got ice cream sandwiches n they were great. My wife got mint chocolate chip ice cream between chocolate chip cookies. I got vanilla ice cream between Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies. Will definitely be back. I also got 1/2 dozen cookies to take home 2 peanut butter 2 chocolate chip & my new favorite cookie 2 Oreo stuffed chocolate chip. Cookies r so soft & filling. Think I should've gotten a dozen

Everything looks good, but they bake the cookies with lard. We could have had the one vegan option, but that's ok. Definitely check the ingredients if you don't eat lard.

Amazing cookies. I'm glad I found this place. Their cookies are delicious as they look on their Instagram! They have a wide variety of choices and all of them are so good! The smell of the cookies in the shop is something to die for!

So, I walked into trying this place knowing it was not the original. But I decided to give it an open mind and give it a chance. First, basically every cookie I tried was soft. That tells you they are doing something right. The snickerdoodle cookie was actually decent, despite the fact I don't even like snickerdoodle. Overall, it was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. I would probably come back.

Great cookies. Stopped there for a cup of coffee and a sweat treat and this place did not disappoint. Had a s'mores cookie and a peanut butter cookie and they were both very good. The also make a nice cup of coffee. Looking forward to trying to some more varieties in the future. Update: My go to place for an afternoon pick me up. All their cookie varieties are great. Their Brownie/cookie crossover the "Brookie" is excellent. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop by. Great cookies and super nice people.

Received a delivery of cookies as a gift from friends in Boston and they were amazing! Large, soft and chewy cookies that arrived fresh and yummy here in the Midwest. A great gift or special treat for a cookie lover!

So delicious! Freshly baked cookies and a wide variety of ice cream flavors. You can pick any cookie/ice cream combo, they have seasonal flavors too. Beware though, the ice cream sandwiches are huge and worth splitting!

Stopped in today. It is delicious I really need to forget about this place. Salted caramel cookie with the Milky Way ice cream was so good. It is a must try! I won't forget about this place I need to I just can't it's so good. I take this over a hut fudge sundae any day. If you love or line ice cream GO and Go fast!

Cookies & ice cream were amazing but the service was absolutely terrible! I ordered what I usually do, the "wicked good sandwich"with the cookies on the side. Seems pretty simple right? Ice cream and two cookies on the side. The man that waited on my sister and I was dry as hell and rude. He completely disagreed with what I wanted and rudely went on to tell me "well that's not a sandwich" after going back and forth with him over my order my sister took over because she could see I was visibly getting irritated. We originally ordered our ice cream to have there but after we got it I wish we got it to go. Our order wasn't enjoyable anymore. While we sat and had our ice cream we got to witness the same guy being rude to some more customers. Idk what his name is or what his position is but maybe he should stay in the back away from the people. Just a thought!

Wow!! This place is super delicious and so dangerous!!! The cookies are so incredibly fresh. My husband and I went in this afternoon and were so impressed by everything that this little shop had to offer. We each made a cookie sandwich, my only complaint would be the limited ice cream flavors. My two favorites are cookie dough and chocolate chip and they did not have either. But don't get me wrong this did not take away from how delicious my treat was! I highly highly recommend the salted caramel cookies. Next time I plan to try the sugar cookies as I overheard some customers discussing how great that was too! Great addition to the town of Danvers, we will be back!

OMG! I walked in and the aroma made my mouth water. The peanut butter and the salted caramel were my final decision. Soft, warm and perfection in every way. Oh and they have ice cream too!!!!

Hands down the best way to treat yourself or someone you love, is to come here. You won't find better baked cookies anywhere. Combine that with Richardson's ice cream and it's heaven on earth. Been eating off their food truck for years and the store front is a 2 minute ride. Wow I now eat from the truck 3 days a week and 2 days a week here. Simply the best!!!!

This place just makes me so happy. It smells great, friendly staff, and of course, you can't beat delicious cookies with yummy ice cream. Wish they would open a shop in downtown Salem so I could go all the time!

They have amazing cookies. Better if you eat them right away while they are still warm. Only complaint: they keep changing the store hours and NEVER UPDATE THEM ONLINE. Wicked annoying.

Neat , clean environment. Staff was friendly. Easy to figure which and how to order ur cookies. Price was reasonable. Selection was nicely varied but not overwhelming. Packaging for ur cookie ice cream sandwiches if u dare to live on the wild side was cute n easy to carry. Oh yeah...... cookies we're delicious, nice size, great chew n texture . It was worth the short drive to visit the new Danver's location.

I just went today for the first time and got a dozen. The interior is really cute and the employees were nice. The chocolate chunk and birthday cake cookies were unbelievable. Seriously, the best of those two varieties I've ever had. The double chocolate was a bit dry, m&m tasted a bit off, and the oatmeal raisin was a little disappointing, but all still edible. Maybe it was an off day. I'll definitely be giving them a second shot because the chocolate chunk was phenomenal

Forget Disney World, this is actually the happiest place on earth. My boyfriend brought me here as a surprise this summer, after I said I was craving a basic chipwich. It was truly one of the highlights of my summer. When you walk in, you're greeted with a huge variety of freshly baked cookies, as well as a menu full of ice cream flavors. You get to choose any combination of cookies and ice cream that you want, and they make you an ice cream cookie sandwich to order. I love cookies, I love ice cream, and I love customizing things. This is literally my heaven. Every detail of this place, from the cute to-go packaging, to the perfectly weighted for-here spoons, is well thought out and delightful.
