"Executive chef Philip Lewis offers an eclectic and diverse menu at this popular Palm Beach Gardens restaurant. Amid Korean, Greek, and Middle Eastern choices, the Cooper Burger is served with aged Vermont cheese on challah bread. Enjoy the burger with a beer from a local brewery while sitting out on its large patio area." - J. Miller

Had a great lunch here the other day. 4 out of 5 of us were absolutely raving about what we ordered and everything I tried was delicious. I had the lobster dumplings (the sauce was incredible) and the ahi poke bowl (tasted so fresh) and would order both again in a heartbeat. I also had a mock tail I would order over an alcoholic drink again in a heartbeat. The only food that was just ok were the fish tacos, the person who ordered them thought the fish was a tad on the dry side. We sat outside and there is tons of patio seating with a very fun and comfy vibe, and some cool local art and a giant chess game nearby. The inside of the restaurant also looked very inviting.

Went for brunch after church on Sunday. They had live music outside and inside and outside seating available. Service was excellent, didn't mind switch the bread on my chicken sandwich for naan instead (which was totally the move btw.) The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was good, but not better than others I've tried before. Overall it was a cute little spot.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food, service abd atmosphere here is very relaxing. Mike Ward and I love going here for our date nights. 💯

We had our company Christmas party at The Cooper, and it was our best party to date! As always, the food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. Cheryl was so helpful in planning our party. She took great care of us and made sure that all of our guests had the absolute best experience possible. We really appreciate all of her hard work and dedication! I highly recommend The Cooper for lunch, dinner, and any celebration you may have!!

Sat at the bar with my son to catch up and watch a play off game. Paul is the bartender and he served us excellent old-fashioneds, very friendly too. I ate the octopus and was perfect. Delicious. Nice atmosphere, formal but laid back.

Delicious lunch here today. We were seated outside in a perfect location since we’re traveling with a dog. Covered outside area with fans. It was great. Very nice lunch. Delicious cole slaw. Husband really liked his burger giving it and 8 out of 10. Fish and chips — the fish was flaky and great, just like our server said it would be. Real standout here for us was the Bang Bang Shrimp. Delicious!!! Server very nice and friendly and she brought cold water for our dog. Very sweet of her. We will return if back in this area!

We went to The Cooper for the first time for Father’s Day brunch at 2pm and we all enjoyed our meals. The food was good & the ambiance was really cool with an eclectic & artistic vibe! Our server Sophia was lovely also. We really had a great time and will come for dinner to see it that way, as it has great light fixtures & furnishings that will show off nicely during the evening hours. Outside of the restaurant, in the plaza, has a beautiful art gallery and cool art installations around the grounds too. Thanks:-)

Yelp
Wow. Over the top again. Ava our server very attentive and personable Had the waygu burger. Over the top Shrimp scampi. Best in ages Will be back Hey. Happy hour all day on Wednesday Ambiance good Service good Portions big Prices fair Great every day Be sure to hit the weekend brunch Crème brûlée to be served warm. Not cold

Yelp
Came here with a former coworker of mine for one of our weekly lunches. She had been here before but I had not. We were seated right away and our waiter came right over. The atmosphere was very nice and the weather was great. Whoever the bartender was that day made an EXCELLENT skinny margarita. I had 3 lol! We both ordered the burgers and they were A1 prob the best burger I've ever had. Whatever the butchers blend meat is.. it's amazing. I order truffle fries and they were made the right way! With truffle oil. Not that cheap mayo truffle sauce mess. I ordered a To go meal for my grandmother and they were out of the fish and chips I wanted for her so that was disappointing but I got her the bbq pulled chicken (or pork I can't remember). Either way she LOVED it. All in all great service and food.

Yelp
We heard that The Cooper had new management so we decided to give it a try. Parking is normally a problem at PGA Commons, but we had no problem finding a spot. It was a Wednesday night and the spacious outside bar and dining area had a lot of customers but the live music was very loud, so we decided to eat inside. The Black Grouper was excellent, but my wife's file was overcooked. When the server came to our table she gave us menus, took our drink orders and took away the empty water glasses. One of our guests was very thirsty so she asked for water. When the server brought our drinks, there was no water and our guest pleaded for water, but it still didn't come for a long time. Most of the tables had a bottle of water to use with the glasses that were originally on the table when the customers were seated. For some reason our server removed those glasses but kept forgetting to bring us water. Despite my excellent seafood dish, I don't think we will return to The Cooper.

Yelp
Although I live in West Palm, I had an appointment right off PGA and the turnpike. As it was a beautiful day, I decided to take myself to lunch afterwards and sit outside. I drove past La Masseria and Rocco's Tacos and decided on The Cooper. Very nice outdoor seating in the shade. My server was quite nice, but she sort of abandoned me after my order. I'm not going to call her out as I liked her, despite not being able to get her back for some period of time. In the meantime I ordered water from another server and drink number two from the outside bartender. Then I asked my server for ice for the water (it came in a small glass with NO ice!), and she said ok, but never brought it. In the beginning my server recommended the cucumber cocktail (I had asked her opinion) and I ordered it. Good, but too sweet, so I ordered a classic margarita when I went directly to the bartender. The Caesar salad was very good, and best of all it came with two white anchovies. Far too many restaurants refuse to include anchovies these days. It has house-made croutons and a lovely big Parmesan crisp on top. I also asked for an opinion on a side of fries vs side of mac and cheese, vs sweet potato fries, and she said regular fries. Good call! Good fries! Great atmosphere on the patio, and nice employees, if a bit distracted.

Yelp
Came for some dinner on a Wednesday... they had an all night happy hour special going, which was a delight to hear! I got the chopped salad. My boyfriend got the salmon dish. Both were fantastic!

Adam J.

Yelp
I went here for the second time after a few years for an early dinner. The service was easy-going, pleasant, and timely. We were seated outside away from the bar area and closer to PGA blvd which was a little unfortunate. The atmosphere around the bar was much nicer than being close to the busy road. I ordered the meatloaf and it came out quickly and was delicious. The meatloaf and bacon were very tender and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes and veggies were a great accompaniment.

Gerrie S.

Yelp
We returned again to the Cooper after a previously great meal. We order Caeser salad to split, which was a very generous portion! We all ordered diff dishes, chopped salad with salmon, wagyu burger , swordfish steak and steak. All were prepared beautifully and delicious! For dessert we ordered the chocolate chip cookie with I e cream and hot fudge and whipped cream. Huge portion, easily shared by 4 people! Our waiter was very attentive! We will definitely be back!

Maureen B.

Yelp
So happy to be back at The Cooper! Travis took very good care of us and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. The Green Curry with Tofu was delicious. Filled with large chunks of tofu and plenty of vegetables. The broth was smooth with just the right amount of warmth to satisfy. My friend's Lobster Bucatini a la Amatriciana was beautiful, and both of our leftovers tasted even better the next day. The Flourless Chocolate Cake had just the right amount of saltiness to complement the chocolate - delightful! And the side of whipped cream was very generous. Happy to spend time with my friend at our favorite place and Travis was a big part of our joy in being there.

Patty W.

Yelp
I met a fellow Yelper friend of mine for brunch and it was a solid visit. I thought the restaurant had bottomless mimosas and it doesn't. Oh well, it's not a big deal since I got two of them anyway...lol! We got the carrot muffins to share and we weren't shy about putting the butter on them. The Cooper's Max breakfast consists of two eggs, home fries, and multigrain toast. I got the eggs scrambled with cheese and it was alright. The flavors were good on the dish and it balanced out nicely with the mimosas. Our server came to our table periodically and we got what needed as time went on. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't mind returning and trying something else or even go for happy hour or dinner.

Layla L.

Yelp
The service was so bad, I mean they screwed up so many times it seemed like a joke. I thought my scallops with mushrooms were good though I didn't care for the risotto it came with. The desserts were terrible. Everyone I was with decided they never want to return but I've had 2 solid entrees here so I would return. I also like the noisy busy atmosphere and sitting outside.

Beth P.

Yelp
Ambiance and vibe is great but the food is inedible. We shared the mussels appetizer and it was so bland, zero flavor. The General Tsos cauliflower had way too much sauce on it. For our entrees we ordered the roasted chicken which was tasteless and not even roasted nicely on the outside. The truffle as jus was like water. I ordered grilled mahi which had an extra fishy taste and definitely not fresh like other local places. The coconut risotto served with it also bland. Took forever for our entrees to come out but I have to say the bartender, Tibbons, kept checking for us. Apparently you're allowed to smoke at the outside bar which I've never experienced in PBG so we had to deal with a chain smoker near us. This place claims to get food from locally sourced places but they need a chef that knows how to prepare these dishes.

Yelp
The Cooper Sunday Brunch.... I haven't seen a Bloody Mary Bar until yesterday but all I can say is I only want brunch if this is available There are 4 different kinds of Vodka to choose from, Regular, Sun Dried Tomato infused with Jalapeno, Bacon Vodka and GF.... the bacon vodka... just We were seated promptly upon arrival and were given a quick tour of the BM bar prior to sitting. We shared the whipped ricotta toast, honey and sourdough toasted bread. I had shrimp and grits which had huge chunks of chorizo mixed in. Hubby had the avocado toast. We took a carrot cake to go...........The drink that got me, besides the bloody Mary's was the "Kind of a Big Dill" .. Titos Vodka, cucumber, simple syrup, lime and pickle juice. WHAAAT. The Cooper is a definite addition to your Brunch plans!!!

Noah R.

Yelp
Ok so we only got salad but either I was hungry or it was just that good but I ate every ounce of my chicken pillard. We sat outside and it was the perfect day. Cool and 72°. I even fought off a pigeon for the last olive. Granted that's on us for not sitting under the covered patio. Regardless the outside seating also had heat lamps for my cold blooded friends and a large bar for my party goers. The Cobb looked amazing and my friend said it was delicious. The presentation on the Cobb looks better when it comes out but we started eating before I remembered to take pictures. Service was quick and attentive. Well done coop. Well done!

Brad G.

Yelp
We haven't been back to the Cooper since before the pandemic and decided to go have lunch. Nothing has changed. Great service and delicious farm to table food. Brunch is the bomb there but we opted for a quiet lunch on Saturday instead.

Julie F.

Yelp
Based on my meal alone, I'd give them five stars. It was excellent. But our friends and my husband's meal? Probably 4+ stars. I'd made reservations online. Got a confirmation and a couple reminders. No problems when we checked in at the hostess desk. We were seated right away. We sat inside -- as requested -- but the patio doors were wide open at first. And it was a cool evening. There are a couple outdoor seating areas with the one by the bar being the noisiest area. They were packed on a Friday night. But in our location, we could still have a conversation with our friends. I had their skirt steak. Done churrasco style, it came with two colors of fingerling potatoes. It was very flavorful. I loved it. My husband had a Caesar salad with added shrimp. Our friends had the chicken paillard -- a flattened chicken breast under a salad; and the Cioppino (fish stew). They said they liked their meals -- but mine was better. For dessert, we shared two flourless chocolate cakes. They were rich, dense, and fudge like. Yummy for chocoholics! They have valet parking, but we were lucky enough to find a self-parking space nearby. Parking is at a premium here as there are several other restaurants in the complex. And yes, I'd come back. But maybe wait -- until "off" season...

Grisel A.

Yelp
Came back to town and wanted a outside restaurant for lunch with my family. Great outside seating. The salmon was fantastic The salad portion is great and they allow you to substitute which is nice. The drinks are okay. Great presentation. Service is a little slow, but gave me time to catch up. The guac could use some salt and lime. Overall great place for lunch and catch up.

Yelp
Alright so here's a story. We were in WPB for a friend's bachelorette weekend (don't ask why we were in WPB aka retirement central). One of her cousins who is a tik toker came across Cooper on Tik Tok and it showed these Don Julio drinks they had, which looked cool. They even had a DJ so we decided to go for happy hour (which is 3-6pm btw). When we got there, it was NOTHING like we imagined. It was very much a "seasoned" crowd and of course, we were the only melanated people there. Safe to say that tik tok video looked nothing like the real thing. Either way, we got seated outside and tried to make the best of it. While the girls took their seats, I stayed standing as I was waiting for our waitress to come over so I could order a round of shots for our table. I saw the waitress who was assigned to our table keep looking over at us and looking away. I picked up from her disposition and demeanor that she didn't want to serve our table. It was not lost upon me that we were in FL AND also the only Black people at this establishment. She approached us rather tepid, lethargic and half-hazardly. She took half the table's order then walked away and didn't take the rest. We had to wait for 10 mins for her to come back to place the rest of our orders. We asked for water and extra plates and never got those. I could tell some of the other staff noticed how agitated we were because two of them, I'm assuming were managers, came over with a much more pleasant energy and provided us with water and plates. Even the bartender came over and chatted with us. They were able to turn things around for us but that waitress was definitely rude and full of bias. Anyway, they have a great happy hour menu, amazing gin drinks and great staff (besides our waitress)! Worth giving them a shot.

Vanessa O.

Yelp
I love this spot. I've been there a couple times. Today, I invited my girls out for a night out of chatter, laughter, and good food. They loved it. The food was amazing, from appetizers to our dinner. The passion punch and mojito drinks were also good. But I know a couple of the ladies had issues with the drinks and sent them back for replacements. Overall, everyone left raving about how great of a meal we just had. We made reservations so there was no wait for our group of four. Our waiter was busy but friendly and considerate. Outside had a nice breeze so glad we booked for that. There are inside dining options as well. Parking lot is available. If in the area, I'd say don't miss this spot.

Charles Z.

Yelp
I haven't been there for probably for a year or more. Only because of personal medical conditions. Was in the hospital most of the year. I was there every day when I was able. The staff was the best as was the menus. I will be back as soon as I can.

Debra S.

Yelp
Great place for lunch or dinner. Loved my mojito and chicken salad. I would definitely go back! It had the cutest atmosphere and the nicest staff.

Corey G.

Yelp
Shoutout to Trever for being a great waiter and accommodating for GF food. This place has a nice cute ambiance and good food. Great service as well. Can't go wrong here!

Christopher R.

Yelp
Ate here before the Pandemic and it was fantastic. Great food and a super selection of beer. After the pandemic we came back and it was ok but not the same. Last night we were told it was sold. That makes sense. Service was ok nice people but food was bland at best. Would not return, to many great options in this area.

Joanie A.

Yelp
Great Burgers!!! Awesome Brunch! Nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Worth a try!

Robert S.

Yelp
Ate here with another couple this evening. Great space inside and out with a nice bar. We arrived a little early , but were seated right away. My wife and I shared a chopped salad which was plenty for two and really good. Our friends shared the grilled octopus appetizer and said great as well. For dinner two of us had the black grouper and two in our party had the skirt steak. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Meagan our server was terrific and attentive. If I have one complaint it's they are a bit pricey, but definitely a place to check out.

Spencer W.

Yelp
Food has been consistently good for 5 years of visits. See prior review. That said, refusing to honor years of loyalty points following a change in ownership is an objectively horrible business decision. Will not be returning.

sandy k.

Yelp
Had an absolutely extremely successful family dinner at The Cooper with 13 of my family members. The lobster dumplings were definitely some of the best I've had in a long time. My only complaint is there weren't enough of them! My main course was atlantic scallops a la plancha, chorizo, corn, roasted pepper, chipotle butter, scallions. I strongly recommend this dish if seafood is your taste of the evening. The Chef is to be congratulated for one of the better meals I've had in ages!

Austin N.

Yelp
The sundae is the best thing here. Honestly now I just go for that. The restaurant is nice and so are the staff. Just make sure you get the sundae. It comes with a side of hot fudge and it's just so good. Easily can share with 3-4 people

Greg Ortega C.

Yelp
Just not what it used to be. Tried the Sunday brunch. It was extremely slow and not very crowded. 12:15pm reservation and by 1:30pm had not even seen our entrees. This place is a hard pass going forward

Kim L.

Yelp
Had a great tasty lunch but service left a lot to be desired. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather and ambience. Salad was super fresh and really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. But our waitress was not at all attentive, never got drink refills and took 15 minutes to get our bill after asking for it.

Brett C.

Yelp
Food was very good, especially the dark truffle mushroom risotto. The hostess was a little persnickety when we asked to change to a different booth(larger), and the waitress was pleasant, but we had to flag her down every time we wanted to order additional menu, items, or refills of drinks. We were going to mention it to a manager, who we saw go up to a table, and ask how they were enjoying their meal, but out of the 12 other tables in our dining area, the manager did not ask any of the others (including me).

Jamie R.

Yelp
Went for brunch. Although it is pricey, it's a great experience. The Bloody Mary bar is impressive!

Franco C.

Yelp
American I'm going to go with a solid 3-start experience. We tend to hit it after work so we end up catching some part of the happy hour experience. For the happy hour, there is a selection of H.H. priced drinks and apps. We opted to just go with what we normally drink- I'm not much of a bargain hunter when it comes to my libations and if my brand is not included in a H.H. offering, I will just skip the H.H. part, and pay full price. We found the bar guys a bit interesting: very helpful at first, then they pretty much ignored us. Not sure what that was about but we had to flag them down when we needed refills (and we were sitting at the bar). We ordered three different H.H. apps and well, tow made an appearance and again, the guys behind the bar never came over to check on us - and naturally the missing app was on the check. There really was no excuse for that - the place was not all that busy to begin with. The apps that did make an appearance were actually pretty good so -5 for them due to the sad bartenders working there. Crowd appears to be on the older side and we met some new friends sitting there. All in all, I doubt I would go back - there are WAY too many place in the PBG / Jupiter area for me to spend my coins at where I get great service. Parking in the back.

Larry F.

Yelp
I arrived earlier than my date at 1pm today and was promised by the maitre d' a certain table. Just one minute later, she took a person to that table. When I asked, she simply said "I had to." When my date arrived, I asked for another table which needed cleaning and asked her if it could be cleaned and she replied that she was not in charge of cleaning tables. She made no effort to contact someone to do so. Finally, I saw a waitress and asked if we could use the table she was removing the payment from. She was very nice and cleaned it for us. The food was very good and the waitress exceptional. I cannot say the same for the maitre d'.

Elena V.

Yelp
Great Sunday brunch experience at The Cooper. The restaurant wasn't too busy, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The food, especially the recommended shakshuka, was exceptional, and the service was outstanding.

Alivia G.

Yelp
Love coming here for happy hour. The service is always fast and friendly. Got a pickle martini the last time off their summer specials and it went beyond my expectations.

Toni F.

Yelp
We went to The Cooper and it just wasn't as good as last year . Not at all. Food or service .New menu and the food was rather blah! The scallops were unseasoned and the farro with mushrooms was mushy and tasteless. Salads were fresh with quality ingredients but not as good as other places where the salads were extraordinary. A member of our group was there for brunch a few weeks before and said it was not good at all. Last year the dishes were seasoned with fresh dynamic spices and the food was very good . This time not so good . Our waitress was abrasive and never around . I am sure it will turn around but not going back for a while.

Lee L.

Yelp
We enjoy dinning at the Cooper. Our food was delicious and no complaints on timing. The waitstaff are professional and attentive. No complaints about service. The atmosphere is comfortable and there is always enjoyable people watching. The clientele is always a mixed crowd including families, young professionals and retirees.

Tom B.

Yelp
Good food drinks and dessert Takes reservations Service and hostess were really good and knowledgeable I would recommend

Tracy C.

Yelp
Wowwww We went for a group dinner with a bunch of girlfriends for Valentine's Day and the service was incredible. The food was outstanding and ridiculous portions. It is a great place to sit both inside or outside as they have heat lamps when it gets a little chilly. The bartender was on point with all of the drinks. And our server. Chase was the MVP. Wine bottles are half off on Mondays which makes it a popular night! There is ample parking and really close to 95 All of the food was delicious. We shared empanadas, salads, and some of our entrees. The half chicken is a huge portion. The salmon was another winner of the night. The penne pasta was decent but not noteworthy. The flourless chocolate cake was more like a fudge brownie, which was amazing. If you order the Sundae, one of those comes in the bottom of it! The sundaes were amazing, just not if you are lactose intolerant. I've been to this place before for happy hour, now. I will be there for so many other things!

Don B.

Yelp
Just a week or two under new management and they have a few kinks to work out BUT the food was delicious, drinks were tasty ( recommend the blackberry bourbon cocktail) But will definitely go back next time I'm in town

Ellen L.

Yelp
We were so lucky to have Marissa as our server! It was her first night, but you'd never know that. She was delightful and added to our dining experience. We were out shopping and wanted a quick but decent burger and we picked the right place. Restaurant was busy but the overall ambiance was upbeat and we were both pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere.

Mirko P.

Yelp
Popular place for sure. Very busy, specially later in the evening. Waited for server a bit longer when we arrived and be seated. Once we got our server, it was a excellent experience. It was a great service. Be outside on gorgeous evening make you feel great. That to say about ambience. There is a value for a money spent during a happy hour. Food selection is OK, but not any special. Better than average were General TSO's Cauliflower and Korean Pork Ribs. Beer-Braised Mussels and Traditional Caesar Salad not so.

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Kylie was our server tonight and she was 5 stars worthy. She checked in periodically and we never felt like we were waiting for her. Her energy was so contagiously positive and she was truly fun to be around and a reason to come back. If anyone comes often request Kylie! Amazing experience and food was excellent. Had the chicken paillard salad. The manager also came over to ask about our experience and we sincerely appreciated that as well.

Jean H.

Yelp
Bad business practice , New owners . They don't honors Gift Card that was purchased with the old owners. Not sure how this is legal but never again will me or my family go there.

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
The food was excellent. My wife and I loved the establishment's ambiance. The mood was perfect. The staff was fast, patient, and efficient. This is a place we could attend again.

Ashley V.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place!! Ambiance and service was awesome. Food was delicious. We sat at the bar and had lots of laughs with the bartenders! Wonderful experience both times I have gone. Can't wait to go back

Michael M.

Yelp
Tried eating here again this week after a bad experience last year. Waited 15 min after being seated for a waitress and had to go to the hostess to get someone to come to our table. We ordered a drink and 10 min later still had not been served anything-water bread drink nothing. We walked out. Would not recommend this place to anyone based on the service!

Joan C.

Yelp
Great spot on PGA Blvd. delicious food. Wonderful Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary bar you won't forget. Nice outside dining area. Service has varied but usually good.

Marcie E.

Yelp
The huevos rancheros were horrible. Husbands eggs were raw after he asked for well done. Rice & beans rolled up in a flour tortilla. 1 teaspoon of chili sauce, and 1 teaspoon of pico de gallo, and 1 teaspoon of guacamole. No Bueno

Jennifer G.

Yelp
We had a 6:30 reservation. They texted us at 6:10 that the table was ready. We didn'tit get water until 6:50. It went down hill from there. We were inundated with fruit flies. At 8:00 we still had no appetizers. After complaints we were seated in the no insect section and were served. After 3 hours, we finally concluded our meal. Delicious and fully comped. We left a $60 tip, but really, this is as a frustrating meal. If I wanted to wait 3 hours for a meal, I could have gone through Publix and ordered a sub and a bottle of wine. I expect more from a restaurant that emits this reputation.
