"The Copper Q is a coffee shop/cafe/trinket store that should be completely abysmal but is actually not. It’s clear that this place caters to Big Bear tourists, but you’re a tourist, so just go with it. There’s a giant fire pit outside, some sort of cooking class situation in the back, and lots and lots of moms holding house-brewed mochas while getting really early starts on Christmas shopping." - Brant Cox

They have iced drinks and frappe options available here. ☕️: I ordered an iced cinnamon swirl latte- it was just okay. Atmosphere: I loved the decor! This place had a rustic vibe. They also had cookbooks and miscellaneous items for sale. There were even painted game boards on a forgotten counter. I wonder if they used to have games available for customers when this place was more cozy. Service: barista had an indifferent attitude. We weren’t greeted when we entered and waited at the cash register for a while before someone acknowledged us.

Fantastic experience at Copper Q! The line was quite long but the owner (I presume) was handing out free treats to everyone. He was so hospitable and cared about his customers. My iced toffee nut macchiato was delicious and the scone and pumpkin pie cheesecake were so yummy!!

We were in the town for several days and found this place right away. It has a great location! But that’s about it. We were there 3 times and I thought the first time was just not their day. Nope, it was bad all the way. Their lack of pastry and food in general wasn’t a one time thing, it was on daily basis. The display was pretty much empty each day (I’ll attach pictures). They were 20% full and it took them exactly 12 minutes to make me flat white coffee. They provided service to all other customers behind me first and then they started to make coffee for me, there were 3 employees behind the counter. They definitely take their time. Second time we were there, they forgot part of my order. The third time we came before 10 am and they were still close…… no note, nothing (they supposed to open at 7 am). So people outside were pretty angry about the lack of service. The coffee is pricey for what you get. The only good thing about this place is location. Management can definitely do better. It’s very badly managed.

All of the food was delicious! Great atmosphere and place for a light breakfast, bakery items, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The breakfast croissant was the perfect amount of crunch too. The staff was also very friendly.

June 2024 Only purchased coffee {nothing special, just their house brew} & it was only likeable, {weakish for me} because it seems using less water 💧 in the brewing process would make it enjoyable! & a little pricey $$$ Lots of outdoor seating Very clean Pleasant employees They were currently out of the Quiche but were happy to make more andAndAND any way we wanted but unfortunately didn't have the time.

Their hot chocolate is great for a cold windy afternoon/evening in the town. The service is a little slow. The cakes were a little dry for our liking but the drinks were good.

Great People! Great Food! My husband and I were on our way out of big bear headed back out of town. I suggested making 1 more stop for coffee at a shop other than starbucks. I found Copper Q on google and headed straight there. Upon our arrival we noticed the place was actually closed. As we peered in the window the owner, Mike came and explained that he was closed but then kindly asked us what type of drink we wanted. We said an iced coffee, then he surprisingly opened up for us and had his staff make us 2 drinks. How thoughtful.! That was the sweetest gesture. Upon getting ready to leave my husband thanked him for his generosity and exclaimed that this was a nice way to top off my bday weekend. Once Mike learned it was my bday he so kindly surprised us with some baked treats. We were blown away w/ the hospitality and thoughtfulness. The Copper Q and its staff made our trip to Big Bear that much more special. Thanks for the delicious muffins and drinks. We cannot wait to return♡

Manager was there with a baby casually chilling while a rush formed. Wait times were over 30 minutes for any food items. Only one cook and over 20 customers. I ordered a coffee and a burrito. They forgot my burrito and gave food to customers after me. They were not checking receipts and the orders had no names so anyone could literally get the orders that were coming out. Something's not right here! 8/3/24
