The food is a three, the service is a five, so I'll assign four stars.
No-frills pub with pub staples like fish n chips, shepherds pie, hot chicken sliders, crab dip, tater tots, fries, burgers, and other types of sammies.
I had the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese (wish I had remembered to ask for bacon). It was hot and creamy, but I think it could have used some seasoning. I also had the Nashville hot chicken sliders. I understand what they were trying to go for with the breading, but my patties weren't terribly cohesive, and the breading fell off after a couple bites.
I had the cucumber cooler, the Paloma, and another drink at the recommendation of my server. All of them were pretty good, especially at 15 dollars, but none were breathtaking.
My server was understated, but very attentive. She gave me recommendations on the menu. And when a large 10 top was sat right next to my single table, she astutely noticed how that might diminish my dining experience and moved me right away.
Prices were very fair, especially given the area. Most things were 12-15 dollars. The most expensive thing is the fish n chips at 23 dollars.
Would I got back here again and again? Nah. It's basic bar food and decent drinks. But the service was excellent and it was a convenient snack on a long day out. I definitely don't regret stopping in.
