I love that they've kept up the Leon painting up. Also, even though this is no longer Stay Gold, the stage has stayed with the golden streamers. I mean, the bar looks pretty much the same as it used to except for the addition of all the vinyl, per the Long Play theme. Bar staff is as chill as ever and there is still a great cocktail selection, and a decent beer selection. The biggest draw for me though is the patio. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's spacious yet somehow intimate at the same time. Plus, there's usually a delicious food truck there on the weekends.

love LOVE this bar! Such a great vibe, and the drinks were all delicious. We came when there was live music, and it was so much fun. We had such a blast here, and the staff were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

I was walking down the street and lured in by the music of @residue.atx The doorman was fantastic, only $5 cover on a Tuesday. Wonderful! I asked what his favorite drink at the bar was and he said Busch... cause it's $2. Nice Came in, and Greg was the best bartender! (Please check out his food truck Muy Yum). He made my partner a delicious cocktail. His bar back was in a crop top. Made the experience so much better. Would come back!

Parking is tricky but the lounge is comfortable and the music is great. Not too loud.

A great vibe and really good drinks. When I'm a cool ass home owner I want a basement lounge I'm decorating it exactly like this lol. The taco truck outside in the patio was also very tasty and the guy there was so nice. Great place to grab a drink, I'll be back.

I hope they've worked out some early stuff but our experience, during their first week of operating, was quite bumpy. And opening a new establishment in this post pandemic world is of course challenging enough already. They were "out of" a lot of stuff. We got something that was quite watered down - we left after one round. The bartender was unfriendly and cold. The staff generally were only focused on their own friends (couldn't be regulars yet) and not much on people they didn't already know. Nice basic patio.

This is my first go to chill stop for downtown gigs. Incredible service and a good old East side feel. I didn't try the taco truck out back but I've got good vibes. I might have to make my way there more often to really take in the music flow. Friday swing is dope.

Such a sick little neighborhood spot. The spacious indoor seating area has the sickest vibey atmosphere and a huuuuge vinyl collection. Great beer selection and the cocktails were great. The outside patio has SO much room, bring your pups!! We went to catch some live music and had the best time, can't wait to go back!

Very cute bar and the tacos outside were good but the bartender was rude to my girlfriend and I. For one they didn't have the Vodka I asked for and wasn't the nicest about it but i didn't mind, but he gave my girlfriend a very hot dos xx and wouldn't give her a different one. He also used table salt instead of beer salt to dress her beer and when she asked for tajin he said he didn't have any when we clearly saw the tajin bottle behind the bar. Not the greatest experience, left after the first round just because of the bartender. Two stars only because Jonny's Tacos was excellent!

A hidden gem! Small but mighty dive bar with friendly staff, lots of seating indoors and outdoors, and a parking lot. The best part? Live music ALL the time. Such a great spot if you're looking for an authentic Austin experience.

Ive been visiting Austin when ever i get a chance .. This not so divebar divebar will be forever in my rotation. Cant go wrong with Vinyls, live music , and cold drinks.. Its either the bar layout, hammock, or service that have me wanting to go back. A must stop ..

stopped in because I was in the area. this place is gorgeous! the chairs, tables and stage are beautiful. it was empty on a sunday afternoon, but I sat at the bar, had a couple of drinks, and listened to the lovely bartender talk about her plans to travel to cuba with her friend. the bartender, I wish I remembered her name, was pleasant and funny, and as a couple other customers trickled in, she quickly made cocktails that made me jealous I chose a lone star. next time you're on the east side, stop in this hidden little place. it is stunning.
