If you’re craving a solid chicken sandwich on Atlanta’s Westside, The Corner Grill is worth a stop. The sandwich hit the mark—crispy, hot, and piled high with slaw—and the fries came out well-seasoned and fresh.
I came in for lunch and ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The plate was generous, and the food came out looking just like the photo: golden, straightforward, and ready to eat. The sandwich had a great crunch and didn’t fall apart mid-bite. The slaw added just enough texture without soaking the bun.
The fries had visible seasoning and stayed hot the whole time. Nothing soggy, nothing cold. You get a decent portion too.
Service was polite, nothing over the top. The space was quiet enough for conversation even during lunch, which I appreciated. Easy parking nearby.
This isn’t a trendy or experimental spot—it’s a clean, casual lunch with food that tastes like it was made fresh, not fussy. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size.
If you’re in the area and want something filling without the wait or scene, this place gets the job done.
