"NW 11th Street is generally a place you head to if you’re trying to go clubbing for 11 hours straight, but The Corner is a great spot for people who’d like to stay away from those loud dance floors and offensively priced beers just down the street. This neighborhood standby works for a solid cocktail at 4am or a Happy Hour beer and hot dog as the sun sets over Downtown. But The Corner - open till 8am on Friday and Saturday - is undoubtedly a late-night spot and generally the best choice for anyone out in the middle of the night who doesn’t want to go home yet and would like to be around other people who feel the same way." - Ryan Pfeffer

We visited this café for Sunday brunch, and although we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated, the layout of the place was not ideal. We were assigned a shared table with 6 people in total, which felt very uncomfortable having to share space and especially since we were seated right in front of the door, where the freezing draft hit us directly when a lot of people were coming in all the time. That being said, the food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was fast and friendly. I would consider coming back, but only if they improve the floor plan.

Google
A local staple for sure! Always good vibes and great food! Always busy but service is prompt and tables turn over relatively fast, either way it’s worth the wait always! Grab a juice or a coffee while you wait if needed. Cozy place, family friendly and the owner is the man! He makes sure that everything is running efficiently at all times! Love this place!

Google
So good! We went there on a Saturday morning early enough to have a table right away. It gets really busy around 9am especially during the weekend. The place is so cute and the vibe is so cool and fun. Great music, feel good atmosphere. We got the Belgian hot chocolate and that was delicious! Real thick chocolaty as we love it! My husband got the smoked brisket cornbread… it was to die for!! I got the avocado toast and that was very good, fresh and tasty. If you’re really hungry I’d get something else on the side. We got the homemade biscuit and jam and that was incredible! Will definitely come back!

Google
I havnt had good brunch food in a long time. It’s hard to find a place that doesn’t serve so much frozen food. The corner cafe was the opposite, great food, fresh homemade and great service. I can’t believe I never came here before! Can’t wait to come again. The food was delicious and service was great!

Google
One of our favorite breakfast spots in NJ. Few things that I recommend are their fresh juice (orange or green juice). They have some amazing coffee and for food they have a variety of vegetarian and meat options. Recommend the blueberry pancakes, deviled eggs, avocado toast, BLT sandwich and you must order their shoe string fries. They have quick service and always a pleasant experience. Be prepared for a wait but usually they get you a table before the wait time they tell you. Also on a good weather day get their outdoor seating.

Google
A nice cafe that has good breakfast options. Went on Saturday, the place has good outdoor seating options. As advertised, the coffee is really good. The food tasted okay, nothing bad, but it was not the best. From what we ordered, pancakes stood out as the best. Service was really good. The server was attentive and friendly. Will go there again, mostly for ambience and coffee.

Google
This place would get a full 5 stars but i shouldn’t have ordered the egg in a hole which felt very lackluster. It was egg yolk in a slice of bread with cheese and asparagus but felt like it was something I would throw together before grocery shopping. Besides that everything was delicious. Boyfriend got the pulled pork Benedict and loved it. I loved the seasonal horchata latte. The breakfast potatoes w ají was really good

Google
Great food! Finally made it here and was well worth it. Delicious creative and impressive menu. The toast sampler was amazing! The best avocado toast and chicken livers. The prosciutto with ricotta and marmalade is a combo that always works well and on their toast was yummy. The quiche was melt in your mouth perfection. Great coffee as well. Great staff all around. So glad this is close to home so looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Today the music was very loud but not a deal breaker. Great vibes!

Yelp
We were lucky enough to be seated right away on a Saturday afternoon at pm. The vibe is lovely with loud music playing. The place was very busy. The Fluffy baked sweet pancakes, juicy burger with crispy, shoe string fries and the quiche special were all very good. Everything was served piping hot. There are plenty of hot and iced drinks to choose from. I had the iced green mint tea, all come unsweetened, which I prefer.

Yelp
When I look up hugely popular, busy restaurants that do not take reservations like The Corner on Yelp, the thing of utmost importance to me is my expected wait time. So: The wait for 5 people on a cloudy, brisk fall Sunday at noon - 1 hour. The wait for 2 people on a freezing winter Tuesday at 11:45 AM - No wait for the counter, 5-10 minutes for a table. By the time we left around 12:45 PM, there were free tables. The menu is overall very simple, but the preparations are very well done. I ordered the brisket taco which I felt was the wrong thing to order. It tasted good but very standard. Seriously, I should have gotten the salmon toast, the breakfast sandwich, or those huge fluffy pancakes. My wife ordered the Corner burger with shoestring fries - that was juicy and delicious. I added on a Kouign-amann pastry to our order at the end which was delicious and just the right level of sweetness, and partially made up for it. We will probably be back on another cold Tuesday at 12:30 so I can order those pancakes.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great breakfast at The Corner! We both got the avocado toast--his with eggs, mine without--and it was absolutely delicious. The lemon olive oil drizzle on top added such a bright, fresh flavor. Everything was high-quality and reasonably priced, making it an easy favorite for breakfast. The only downside was that I skipped ordering a matcha because their powder is sweetened, which was a bit disappointing. Pro tip: get there early, as this popular spot can get busy and there might be a wait. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I have been dying to try this place forever, and sadly it didn't live up to the hype. While the staff was friendly and accommodating the place is extremely small. I always thought the food would be to die far but it left much to be desired sadly. My tomato bisque was delicious but my grilled cheese was too oily, causing a strange taste. The homemade chips were amazing but the bbq sandwich itself was missing something? Maybe like a slaw to be added in to balance it out. Every dish had potential but was missing an extra something. However the natural juices on the other hand were high quality and thrust quenching. I feel that perhaps the menu items just need a few more components added to bring the meals together.

Cathi C.

Yelp
Street parking available. The perfect brunch spot especially after a 5K. The turnaround time was great. We were able to hang around the coffee bar area, enjoyed a dirty chai while we waited for a table. We were able to look at the menu while we waited and ordered the smoked brisket and a juice. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly !

Chantel V.

Yelp
I was in town for work and saw this as a prime spot to grab brekky. I was most impressed by the pancakes which are, in fact, as thick as they appear but also maintain the crisp edges that I absolutely love. I asked for extra crispy bacon and they delivered. I also had a chai latte although my colleague ordered the seasonal cider and I kind of wished I had tried that. This spot is cozy and even has a number of fresh juices you can order. And the display was full of pastries that looked yummy but I just had to resist. My sole qualm with this place was that I was told I would have to wait to be seated until my full party of two arrived. I had been standing and was wearing my work bag. I get it, but lord let me sit down. Not much will change between a party of 1 vs 2 and also the other options (bar seating) wouldn't have been very comfortable for me anyway. Just my own personal feeling and experience. But I do understand why they have policies like this. That said, this place is def worth a try!

Yuna C.

Yelp
A very cute and lively spot for brunch! There's a couple of booths, a long table, and counter seating available - but also outdoor tables. Definitely bustling but the service is still great and prompt - would love to visit again for their sweeter options and fun drinks like the Matcha Colada! I got the Grilled Taleggio with tomato soup, which is like an upgraded version of grilled cheese - swapping with sourdough and some Brie cheese and truffle oil in the tomato soup. Everything was delicious and warming - would recommend for a cold weather lunch!

Kate B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come to this local spot for awhile and I'm so glad I finally have! It's such a cute little spot, the decor is super homey and I like the mix of booths, tables, and high tops. The food exceeded my expectations, my friend and I got the corner burger and the breakfast tacos. For the burger the double patty and the dipping sauce was phenomenal, and the breaded hot pepper used in the breakfast taco was perfectly breaded and just the right amount of spice. The one con of the place was that my friend and I were rushed when we were eating. I worked in service so I completely understand needing to turn tables quickly, but the waitress kept coming up asking us if we were ready to order when we had just sat and the busser cleared our half eaten plates when we weren't done yet. We ended up eating for less than 30 minutes because of the wait staff pushing us out, even though the lunch rush had ended and there were at least 3 tables that were empty with no patrons waiting to eat. I'll come back again for the food, but hopefully we have some more time to sit and eat!

Troy B.

Yelp
This place is A1. I've been twice and both times were exceptional. The last time the food was soo good I wanted to run thru the kitchen, steal the chef, and our server and pay them handsomely to come make food at my house Incredible ambiance and everything here is just incredible.

Anthony M.

Yelp
Everything was great but the size and seating should be something that is considered for the future. We got different coffee and types of food and it was all wonderful! Again just wish it was bigger inside and more seating options (also not directly next to strangers at the same table)

Rajni D.

Yelp
Fantastic food options and great neighborhood brunch spot. Is quite small, gets crowded and loud. Not ideal for large groups but did see a few groups while there, including small kids (stroller, etc.) Best for parties of 2-3, max 4. Menu has all the usual suspects of brunch but in very yummy recipes! Oh- beware the restrooms lol - I got stuck in there because I couldn't figure out the faucet situation. There are CLEAR signs in there btw.

Rebekah M.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and they are packed on a random weekday for a reason. Fresh juice and great coffee always hits. There menu options are solid as well and in general the service always pleasantly smooth for such a small local cafe. I will say the Japanese toilets are fantastic (I know tmi but seriously) you need to experience it. Also never pass up on the pastry board! It's always fantastic.

Biannely M.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years since I've moved to New Jersey. This restaurant never disappoints food is always so delicious if you're in town, definitely come and enjoy some brunch at the corner.

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Amazing food! There was a 15min wait, but it honestly didn't feel like that long. The food was INCREDIBLE. We got a side of pancakes that were so fluffy and incredibly delicious. I got the chicken quinoa bowl that was unforgettable. Also paired that with an horchata latte while my husband got a burger. Everything was truly amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Shirley E.

Yelp
Delicious food, yummy coffee/cappucino and excellent services. My hubby's favorite breakfast place. Definitely recommend.

Ognjenka Z.

Yelp
I stopped by here to meet my friend for lunch, it is a small place but surprisingly full for a Wednesday. The host was very nice and didn't have us wait very long. We were seated and both ordered the crispy chicken sandwich along with a cappuccino and a pot of tea. The sandwich was amazing, very fresh, and generous portions! The waiter was very friendly and came around frequently to fill our water and to ask us if we needed anything else . The coffee was great as well as the tea! We ended up splitting the lemon olive oil cake for dessert and it was soft, moist and delicious. A cool spot with great coffee and breakfast / brunch ! I can understand why it is so packed. I'm definitely coming back here again !

Shanell M.

Yelp
Easily one of my favorite breakfast spots in New Jersey! The coffee is always great as well as the fresh juices. They always have great menu staples as well as the specials! I was craving something savory and sweet and got the pancakes as well as eggs and bacon. Seating can be limited so make sure you get there early or are prepared to wait a little bit. However, I can guarantee that it's worth the wait. When the weather is nice outside, it can be beautiful to sit on the picnic tables. The staff is always lovely and makes great recommendations.

Jordan C.

Yelp
On the corner in Montclair is the cutest little café with the fluffiest pancakes in New Jersey! Incredible Foods, Coffeeee giant take neon signs what more could you asked for? Deviled eggs are a triumph && I came for the pancakes, but I stayed for the absolutely best burger !!!

Teesha W.

Yelp
Really good food but make sure you have time to prepare to wait a bit for a table as space is limited. We had the pancakes, one plain and one as shown on the menu, and the both options did not disappoint! We also ordered avocado toast with egg to share as I saw it on someone else's table and it looked so good and I had to try it. The coffee was good. I had the mocha and it was excellent. Definitely a place worth eating at time and time again.

Laura V.

Yelp
For a cafe this place is great. The food here is very natural and fresh, you can taste its goodness. They have natural juices with vegetables and they are a must. I had the sunset which has carrots, oranges and apples (I asked for some pineapple as well) and it was sooo refreshing. I had their croissant and it was flaky on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. It comes with a sweet raspberry jam but you can eat the croissant all by itself it's that good. As my entree I tried the baked eggs and it's their take on huevos rancheros and all I left was the crumbs. The only downside of this place is the wait. You do need to wait a while before getting seated but it's worth the wait, the place is also small so you may feel crammed.

Anumeha T.

Yelp
They have the most amazing pancake I have ever had - so fluffy, moist and cutest which is why it is not that heavy on stomach as well. Definitely this is a must have item at this cafe! I loved the sunrise juice - such a great addition to your brunch. My husband got the glow juice which was quite an average one. We ordered the baked eggs which was super nice with tortilla and black beans. It was baked to perfection. The tomato flavor was not overpowering. We also had the regular omelette with some veggies and it was amazingly perfect! The only drawback is they didn't serve any toast with this omelette - so weird as I have never had omelette without toast at any brunch place. There is toast available in Sides but you have to order it separately. The only reason to take off one star. This place is quite busy so be prepared with the wait times, especially over the weekend. But this is located a bit away from Montclair downtown so parking is not usually an issue. The service is great - they keep clearing out the dishes quickly and maintain a neat place. The cafe setting is cute - they have some outdoor seatings too! Bonus on a summer day.

Marcela L.

Yelp
Love this place! Today we sat outside because the weather was perfect. The service is always top notch. The ham and cheese croissant was perfectly toasted. The salmon Benedict is also hubby's usual and he loves it every time. Our son had toast with butter and jelly and he ate it all including his chicken and apple sausage. This spot is worth checking out every time we are in the area.

Wilkin T.

Yelp
The pancakes are fluffy and delicious. The service was pretty good. This restaurant is small, but I would recommend it.

Matthew J.

Yelp
All the categories the Corner excels in: food (taste, portions, and presentation), service (friendly and super punctual staff), and atmosphere (cozy with a ton of natural lighting on the inside and a nice open view of the outside). The food ingredients are obviously fresh and the kitchen knows what they're doing. I was stuffed and absolutely satisfied by the end of this meal. The Corner honestly has no setbacks. This is a must-have breakfast/ brunch experience. 10/10

Bessie T.

Yelp
This brunch spot is so cute and away from the busier part of Montclair. It's on the smaller side, but there's still a good amount of seating. The wait isn't terrible if you go earlier in the morning, just make sure your whole party is present. The food is also pretty good! I got the baked eggs and they were tasty, but definitely a smaller portion than what I was expecting. My friends got the daily quiche and a fried chicken platter, and they both enjoyed their dishes. I would definitely come back to try their other menu items!

Jenny R.

Yelp
This place is always packed. No matter the date or time. It's small but packed with flavor. They have lunch options too but breakfast is my reason to come here. The omelettes are fresh and fluffy. The berry scone is my favorite. It's the right texture and full of flavor. The coffee is good and their fresh juices are delicious and refreshing. It's a bit noisy because of the space but doable. The service is always quick and with a smile.

Heather L.

Yelp
This place is brunch at its finest - great menu of brunch classics (sweet and savory), bakery, and tons of coffee options. This place seems to always have a wait but they do keep it moving. Good news - the wait moves quickly. Bad news- you can't linger over your coffee as they will want the table. Service is prompt and attentive but not overly fast so that was nice. We got a table outside as it was better for our kids but inside it is cute and cozy which just a nice bright feel though a bit cramped. I tried the biscuit and the butternut quiche special. The biscuit was warm, flakey, delicious and not dry at all. All of the baked goods we tried including the croissant and scone were amazing. My quiche was good though not amazing but it was good portion at fair $9.50 price. My husbands chicken and waffles looked and tasted amazing! They have tons of coffee options but their standard drip was honestly great. We also got my kids a chocolate chip cookie to take home which was warm and delicious- a great way to end a meal.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
We were running errands in the area and needed breakfast, so decided to stop by on a whim. So glad we did! Now that I know about this place, we'll definitely be going out of our way just to come here. We enjoyed everything we had for breakfast. The stand-outs were the rosemary shoestring fries, the hot chocolate (with the wonderful marshmallow!), and the breakfast pastries. The scones and buttermilk biscuits were just perfection! The servers were also very nice and on top of everything, and we got our food very fast. The place was bustling overall, so it could be hard to get a spot on a weekend, but we were seated immediately. I definitely recommend grabbing food here and will be back!

Jodi H.

Yelp
What a great random find! We each had a delicious burger and the shoe string fries (a personal favorite) came out crunchy and yummy.

Lauren H.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot. Has lots of natural light which really sets a brunch atmosphere. They have a variety of juices as well as classic brunch items. I very much enjoyed the pancakes - hefty serving and perfectly fluffy with good flavor. I would come back again.

Jp C.

Yelp
We were looking for a neighborhood eatery brunch and tried this great quaint place. Great food, service was very friendly. Avocado toast with poached eggs "awesome" Smoked Brisket with cornbread and poached eggs "awesome" Pancakes were delicious! Much better food than chit chat dinner!!

Kimberly R.

Yelp
The Corner is CONSISTENT. My first review was supposed to five years ago. We make it a point to go as often as we can! The food is delicious and all the drinks are phenomenal. The staff is INCREDIBLE. We love The Corner and will continue to recommend it to literally everyone!

Sara S.

Yelp
I arrived nice and hungry. Parking was easy to find as there's a lot just down from the establishment. The restaurant is actually on a corner so inside isn't all that big. I was greeted warmly just inside the door and directed to bar/window seating. I ordered the Panettone French toast as I read a review that sang its praises, plus I love French toast. So, trying different versions has become a hobby of mine. Now for some reason I didn't realize that the Italian Panettone is the fruit cake version of bread. I'm not a fan of raisins and nuts in my cake or bread. My food came and at first bite it was good. Only issue I had (which is big to me) is that it was cold. After the 3rd bite in 3 different locations of the toast, I had to send it back. The wait staff was gracious and quickly brought me back a new order, well heated. I must say that although I don't like fruit and nuts in my French toast, however this one was surprisingly good. They would have gotten 4 stars if food came out hot first time.

Alyssa S.

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots. Every time I've eaten here, I've never been disappointed and I can be a bit critical (admittedly). This is an above average cafe and an absolute must try. Anything you decide to order will be excellent. It's worth the wait and slightly tight spaced seating. Oh, and if you weren't already convinced, their bathroom has a bidet and they're BYOB.

Angela L.

Yelp
The service was simply amazing from the moment we walked in the manager greeted us. We were seated less than 5 minutes since the time we checked in. Their natural juice called Sunrise was amazing! Our server Ariel told me to add the ginger and it still tasted as amazing and healthy. The iced chai tasted very chaish so that's a bonus. I had the roadside burger which was cooked to perfection it was juicy and accompanied by potato fries which were also yummy! The ambiance is very chill. We ate outdoors which was a pleasant experience . The inside is also very well kept and cute . I like going places where there's photo opportunities and there def is. Def coming back! FYI if Ariel is your server get ready for a simply amazing experience !

Travis T.

Yelp
The Corner in Montclair is my go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. This place is consistent and serves up amazing food from a small yet simple menu. It has a timeless feel and look that makes every visit enjoyable. The crowds and lines are a clear indication of how good it is. If you're looking for a spot that delivers every time, The Corner is it. Highly recommend!

Cee C.

Yelp
this place is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!! The food absolutely amazing. The servers are very prompt, cordial and friendly. And the ambiance is very chill. No wonder the line is always out the door! But just perfectly warm for a cold day.

Ambika S.

Yelp
Went here again 2 weeks back.. food here is always so good! We ordered huevos rancheros, vegetable hash with eggs, cappuccino and abc juice.. there vegetable hash was so good!! And even huevos rancheros. We also always order deviled eggs here and love it

Madeleine A.

Yelp
Stopped by here with a group of people after an exam this morning. I knew the restaurant was small but it was packed at 12:30 on a non holiday weekend Friday. Sometimes that's how you know a place is good. But for us it was a bit of a hassle as our 10-15 minute wait turned into a 35 minute one. The waitstaff did everything they could (at least what they could politely and subtly do) to usher the previous party of 2 out of a table that could seat all six of us, but that previous group did not get the memo. This is not the fault of the waitstaff or the establishment itself, but I've never seen a group of people that truly did not get the hint about when it was time to go. Anyway, onto the food. Since it had taken so long to get to our table we were starving. Ordered the rosemary matchstick fries and some pancakes for the table. Then three of us got the hash special, two got the burrata toast, and another got the omelette. Food in general was amazing, with unique flavors. The Burrata & Prosciutto Toast was prettily presented but difficult to eat. The wild bounty juice was good. Espresso drinks were pretty good all around. The hot chocolate was good, but arrived with the whipped cream already melted, disappointing especially since it was an extra 50 cents. The matchstick fries were difficult to eat but the flavor was good; we would have liked them a little bit thicker (thereby defeating the definition of a matchstick fry, but definitely more practical.) Overall though our favorite was, hands down, the Fresh Berry Pancakes. As a baker I'm in awe of how they got such a rise on the pancakes without sacrificing flavor. I don't know what they put in that syrup but it was unlike anything I've tasted before. Honestly I would come back here just for the pancakes. One diner even said the pancakes were worth the long wait! Overall I think this is a great spot if you're meeting one person (emphasis on the singular individual.) it's also great if you want something off the beaten path of Bloomfield Avenue. Also great if you're shopping or visiting and want to pick up a bit of coffee and/or a pastry. Otherwise the space is too small for bigger groups of people and I would recommend going to another restaurant.

Ed R.

Yelp
Visited here for an early afternoon lunch while driving through Montclair. It small inside but also had seating outside. It was busy but we only had to wait a couple minutes for a table. The service was polite and the menu was small with mostly brunch type items. We ended up deciding on a ham/cheese croissant, deviled eggs, and the avocado toast. We also ordered iced tea and coffee. Everything was good, the deviled eggs were above average. The menu had the feel of tapas so I would just be looking for a quick bite to eat if I stopped in here. Prices were what you would expect for Montclair. A solid eatery for just a quick bite.

Neelam P.

Yelp
The wait can get bad on weekends, luckily my family and I only had to wait ~35/40 min on a Sunday. The place was completely packed for brunch. Service was fine, not too friendly, but the restaurant was really busy so ... My kids loved the pancakes. They take a while to make but are incredibly fluffy and moist and almost felt like a biscuit pancake. The breakfast tacos were super flavorful, I loved them. The crispy poblano was so good and provided a great texture, I wanted more. And the poblano sauce was perfect with the eggs. The omelette with mushrooms and onions was delicious. The onions were sautéed perfectly, so flavorful.

Emilee S.

Yelp
Sixth time is a charm! But sadly, wasn't a charm. I see we are the minority that we didn't love this place. It took us six visits to finally get a seat here, over a year, that didn't have an hour to two hour wait. We found if you go before 9:30am your shot at getting a seat is pretty good. We see why there is an appeal and all the raving reviews; upscale modern breakfast menu, fresh pressed juices, creative specials, cute neighborhood digs, but we didn't think The Corner was that impressive and here's why... 1. Almost Everything is ala cart and small. $14 omelette plus and extra $5 for a side and $3 if you want toast. We are NOT and I repeat not cheap people and will pay for a good meal but $28-30 if you want a full hearty breakfast, an omelette, potatoes, bacon and maybe toast. That's outrageous! 2. Sides come out first, there is no negotiating that, so if you want to eat your potatoes or bacon with your meal, consider them cold once your food arrives. Ours was. 3. Food was just not memorable, we found it very regular in comparison to a traditional diner ! Sorry not sorry. Our breakfast potatoes were fridge temp cold, not room temp, I mean really cold and so overcooked - nearly dry inside. We didn't enjoy them. The bacon was a thick cut, looked quality, but the taste was just not there for me. I took one bite and no! I had an omelette, again nothing special. My husband had the pulled pork Benedict special. We also ordered prosciutto and ricotta that we didn't finish, two fresh pressed juices that were good but I guess you can't go wrong there. We won't be back and will save this place for the regulars. $95 that just wasn't worth it for an overhyped and underwhelming breakfast meal.

Marc G.

Yelp
Everything about this place is wonderful. The staff is attentive without overdoing it and they are always there for whatever you need. And the food is delicious. Portions are big and everything is fresh and tasty. Their omelettes are perfection. The space is clean and comfortable and just so welcoming. A great local Spot for sure. Wish I lived in Jersey again!!!

Stephen B.

Yelp
Ok restaurant, nothing really stands out. Lukewarm food and services didn't help either.

Suzette G.

Yelp
Still my favorite place. The Corner never fails to either be consistent or so darn creative with their Specials. So worth the wait when you want simply delicious food and great service. Today was just a lucky day and there was no wait! I decided to go out of my comfort zone for once and try one of the specials they were offering. Best decision I could've made. I had the "Roasted Vegetable Hash" - $15. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor that wasn't overpowering or even salty. I asked for my eggs to be medium over easy. I didn't want it too runny and they cooked It to perfection. The macchiato was not the macchiato you think you would get at those other chain coffee shops. The waiter was thoughtful enough to mention that to me since it was just a shot of espresso with a dollop of milk foam. I'm glad he told me. I laughed how small my coffee was when it arrived because I usually start my day with a much larger serving of coffee. It was perfect either way. Loved it. As always, I will be back soon. Thank you for yet another fantastic breakfast.

Chris C.

Yelp
I can't believe I never reviewed this place. So let me begin by saying this place has been my favorite place for a few years. Their Corner burger is mouthwatering and the fries??? Out of this world! Hands down my favorite. Everything is fresh and the baked goods tasted like they were made in a French bakery. With that said, I have been disappointed multiple times within the past year. There has been an issue each time I've gone and keep going back because mistakes or bad days happen. Everyone is allowed some grace. Their cream puffs are to die for. Today they tasted eggy and soggy. The burger was overcooked. The infamous chocolate chip cookie that people would flock to the cafe at 12 & 2 to buy before they ran out was a lackluster treat today. I truly hope you like the place and hope they bring back what made them extraordinary.

Yelp
Love the ever fresh menu and the great wait staff. The burgers are amazing! Great pastries too.

Yelp
Wife and I decided to take my brother in law to eat for his birthday. We traveled 40 minutes to Montclair because we've been going to the corner for years. We waited around an hour for a table for four, then another group came in 40 minutes after us and were readily seated. My brother in law felt discriminated and we decided to leave. Disappointed to say the least, won't be back.

Yelp
The food was good here but the vibe was even better. The staff was extremely sweet and helpful. The biscuits here are one of the best I have ever had. The avocado toast and the egg were pretty standard. I would def go back here!
