Comerica Park 2024: Where to Eat at the Detroit Tigers Stadium - Eater Detroit

"Perhaps the biggest change to come to Comerica’s stadium food offerings this year is the revamp of the menu at the Corner Taproom. Eater Award-winning Marrow has taken over the space and with it, a unique way to enjoy some of its butcher shop classics." - Serena Maria Daniels

Just got a nice craft beer before the start of a tiger game. Friendly bar tender and fast service. Nice sized craft and standard beer menu. Low top, booth and bar seating. I liked the environment that made it feel like you were at a pub and not inside a baseball park. Pricey but I would return.

Best bloody Mary’s - perfect toppings. Best in or around Comerica Park!! The girls behind the bar are super friendly, and know how to make a drink!!

This is my go-to bar in Comerica Park. They have local beer, local spirits, and local food from Marrow.

We went there 7/30/24. It was absolutely the best food I've had at a ballpark. Service and drinks were great.

Krystal was amazing. So friendly and hospitable. The food was amazing but she went above and beyond in her service. Will make this my permanent pit stop at Comerica!

First time at Commerica Park. Decided to have lunch at the Tap Room. Staff was friendly. We had chicken strips with fries and pretzel bites. Food was great. Portions were a good size. And the food was delicious. Waitress was friendly and not pushy. Gave ya time to read the menu and decide. Would deffinantly eat there again

Sat for 10 minutes before we got served. Waitress said there was no mountain dew?? Asked her about the menu, she said "I dont know, I'm new, whatever sounds good is what you should order" Obviously we left. Got better service at the walk up counters in the stadium.

One of the worst service experiences we've ever had at a sporting event and/or restaurant bar. We came in for a 7:10 game at 5:45 and had to go to the bar to order food 45 minutes later because we could not locate our waitress! When we put in our food order (pretzel bites and footlong chili dog) we waited another 40 minutes, and I requested to cancel the food order because the game was starting. They delivered our food almost immediately after my request. There is definitely a lack of communication or structure at this restaurant. The game keep in kind was at best half full! We purposely came in early to enjoy a pre game meal and drink(s) but had to wait almost 90 minutes for "1" drink and what should be very quick food items is beyond unacceptable. They either need to restructure or close because on a slow September meaningless half full game night they could barely provide service. We also witnessed several people walk out as no one waited on them. Just poor service and very disappointed, I hope the stadium does something to improve for 2018.

Yelp
Thank god for The Corner! If you're looking for fun drinks, a great beer list and creative food while at Comerica Park, look no further! I highly recommend all the drinks (which include some locally disliked booze, yay!), the fried green tomato sandwich and the beer battered mushrooms.

Yelp
The service was awful. Party of 4 and we all received our drinks separately as he took and made other orders in between each of ours and we were sitting right in front of him at the bar. The bar wasn't even half full. I had to ask 3 times for the garnishment for my drink. Then the wrong drink was made and the drinks were not made consistent. Otha never apologized. I can't imagine if they were busy.

Yelp
The fish and chips were so fresh and flavorful and the asparagus was huge and cooked perfectly!!!! Up and coming? Should be right now!

Yelp
If you come to Comerica, and want someplace to eat before the game, to sit down and enjoy great food... eat here. The service is amazing and the employees are very friendly and helpful and the service comes in a timely faction. If you want you can even take the food out to watch the game!

Yelp
Stopped in to have dinner and drinks before the Tiger/Blue Jays game last night. There were 4 of us. We sat down looked over the menu and waited to get waited on. Nice waitress comes over and well this is where it all began... we ask a couple of questions and she admits she's new. Ok that's no problem. She takes our order then takes another tables order and we wait and wait and wait. We were about to leave and she comes back to take our food order. As we each order she asks what do we want to drink. WHAT? We tell her we already ordered drinks and she says oh sorry I don't know what happened. I zoned out. You ZONED OUT? She leaves and again we wait. This time we don't wait as long we leave. Who tells a customer they don't know what happened and that they zoned out? No one! It seemed as if most of the staff wasn't with it. We went to the street taco vendor and ordered. The nachos were great. Not sure if I would try the Corner Tap Room any time soon.

Yelp
So I bought a draft beer at the Tigers Tap Room in the park. It was an IPA from founders called 4 giants. It came in a 7 oz glass and I still had to pay the full draft price of $10.75! It was good, but not that good! I think there should have been a warning about the size when I expected a 16 oz pour!

Yelp
The service on the patio is awful. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were sitting there! Two tables walked out. When you are paying $10+ for a beer I expect very good service. This was our second bad experience with service here. We won't be back and will discourage others to not eat here. Bring Leos back!!!! Good prices, and even when they were packed the service was fast and pleasant. This place is a big FAIL!

Yelp
We went there Saturday and Sunday. Both days, we asked for one television to be switched to watch something other than the Tiger's pregame show. Without any problems, they switched it over for us. The staff was amazingly nice and the food is delicious. We tried switching it up and going to the Pitcher's Pub. What a mistake... I will stick with The Corner Taproom every time.

Yelp
Came here on 08/06/16 before the Tigers vs. Mets game with my dad. Got there about 5:15-5:30pm. Seat yourself, so we grabbed a couple of bar top seats. Dad got a Miller Lite (same cans they serve in the stadium) and I got a Jack & Coke. The J&C was perfect. Absolutely perfect whiskey to cola ratio for my tastings. Then he ordered the Corner Burger (basic cheese burger with normal trimmings, plus 1000 island dressing) and I got the fish and chips. For an extra $3, Pop upgraded from potato chips to fries. Food came in a timely enough fashion considering how many people were there. Food itself was delicious. Dad said his burger was very good and my fish and chips were awesome. Fish had a great flavor and were a perfect consistency. Fries were delicious too. Prices weren't anything crazy considering at a ballpark. Fish and chips was $10 (fries included). Burger was $10-ish also, plus $3 for fries. Jack and Coke was $10 and Miller Lite was $8.50. Expensive compared to average bars, yes. Expensive for a ballpark, nah. If you are eating at any MLB ballpark, it won't be cheap. All in all, very happy. Will definitely be back.
