New York Lifts Curfew For Gyms, Movie Theaters, but Not Restaurants | Eater NY

"I note that the longtime beloved Upper West Side Chinese restaurant the Cottage, which closed last year, may be planning a comeback in the neighborhood." - Tanay Warerkar

Refined, but not stuffy, atmosphere at this farm-to-table Greenwich Avenue restaurant by Chef Brian Lewis. Love the creative cocktail menu (try the Japanese Vesper). Food menu suggests sharing with lots of small plates and some larger items. Truffled deviled eggs, lobster spaghetti and the mushroom agnolotti were great. Will repeat

If you seek an elevated / trendy yet super cozy place for date night or girls’ night out, head to The Cottage, which is located in the heart of downtown Greenwich, Connecticut. Here, the cottage-coastal vibes are so strong, the service is a 10/10, and the food is absolutely delicious! (We snagged a cute little booth by the front windows—one of the best seats in the house.) Highly recommend kicking your meal off with “Turn the Lights On” cocktail (mezcal, St. Germain, pineapple, and Rockey’s) and the Kusshi oysters on the half shell, which has a citrusy yuzu mignonette. For mains, I had my eye on the sweet street corn tortelloni, and it did not disappoint.

If you’re looking for a refined dining experience in Greenwich with creative modern American cuisine, The Cottage is a very solid choice. The atmosphere and food combine nicely for special occasions or when you want something a bit elevated. Just be aware of the price point and that the menu leans more towards inventive dishes than traditional comfort fare

The Cottage is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm yet upscale ambiance sets the tone for an incredible dining experience. The service was attentive and welcoming. I started with an espresso martini, which was perfectly balanced. The crab toast was a standout appetizer—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For mains, the Cottage burger was cooked to perfection, and the lobster spaghetti was rich. To end the meal on a sweet note, the cookies and milk dessert was a nostalgic yet elevated treat.

I had a reservation but decided to stay at the bar for my full dining experience. The bartenders were attentive and helpful when it came for recommendations. The food was tasty and amazing, the highlight of my dinner was their mushroom risotto, followed by their beef tartare. My favorite drink was the Apres Ski!

Went last night with a few friends with no reservation. So we waited about twenty minutes and we’re able to get seats at the bar, but only two of three seats. Not the end of the world. The hostess was able to accommodate our party of three a few minutes later at the bar facing the kitchen. That’s when we met Christian the Executive Chef. Had great conversation with him throughout the night! What a great first time experience!! Can’t wait to go back!

Delicious and upscale restaurant in Greenwich! Pricey menu and smaller serving sizes, but perfect for special occasions and date nights. Loved their unique appetizers and cocktails! Will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

We love it here! Only ever been to the Westport location before this visit but this one holds up. Honestly one of our favorite restaurants in Connecticut. You can't go wrong with anything in the menu, but you may need to be a little adventurous. The Waygu Bao Buns and Deviled Eggs are must orders imo. I had to stop paying attention to the conversation when I first ate the Bao Buns. Cocktails are solid, they have an Amaro flight that's AMAZING. Desserts are similarly unique (mostly). Honestly, check out the menu and if anything seems even mildly interesting you owe to to yourself too go here. One note - Dress here is somewhat upscale. Jeans and a polo are a minimum for guys. Button downs and nice jeans are in the middle. You won't get turned away or anything, but you might stand out. Wanted to mention this so other people might avoid my mistake. Last thing - I'm obsessed with the bathrooms here. I took pictures for a potential future remodel, lol. Love the tiles and the walls.

Yelp
We loved our brunch at The Cottage! We made a reservation around 11:30 and were seated right away. The ambiance inside is so nice- very coastal chic- and even though it was crowded, it wasn't too loud. The starters are all really pricey- the deviled farm eggs were $8 each (!), and the spicy scallop tartare $9 each. I was tempted by the Waygu brisket bao buns, but we just could not stomach it for $12 each. However, the deviled farm eggs were incredible- the texture with the potato crunch on top so good, and it was the perfect light touch of truffle. I would absolutely get these again. The scallop tartare was good, but not outstanding, and we didn't get any spice from them. I was reluctant to get the sausage egg and cheese at first- my thought was, how special can a breakfast sandwich really be? I am so glad to be wrong, because this one knocks it out of the park- I love breakfast sandwiches and this is one of the best I've ever had. The sausage is so flavorful and really well-made, and the sandwich is pretty hefty. The crispy potatoes it came with were so good, and even the side salad was delicious. I was still thinking about this days later. My friend got the pastrami Reuben and really liked it, but we weren't expecting the presentation- it is definitely a more deconstructed take on a sandwich. Overall, a really nice brunch with some excellent food!

Yelp
We love this place!! The seasonal hummus is to die for! (Right now the season being pumpkin!!! Holy yum!). The burger! The pasta! The shrimp fried rice! The menu is versatile and fabulous! Every bite of anything you order will be a 10+++. And the amazing staff. And the cocktails!!!!

Yelp
We landed in Connecticut on a sat morning and my daughter insisted our first stop be shopping on Greenwich Ave. However, we first needed to fill our stomachs so that we had energy to shop! I saw the stellar reviews and menu for The Cottage. It was pretty busy on a Sat afternoon, but they found room for our party of 3. My kids wanted to get appetizers, but the kids brunch entrees looked pretty large so I discouraged them. My daughter ordered the grilled chicken paillard caesar salad (she gave it 4 stars) I ordered the wild mushroom fritata (5 stars) and my son went with the buttered crab eggs benedict (5 stars). It was a little pricey for brunch, but probably normal for Greenwich standards. The service was good and we left with plenty of energy to make our way down the adorable Avenue for some shopping!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Wonderful drinks and a seasonal menu. Beautiful restaurant. Greenwich prices. I had dinner there, not sure about going back at that time, but am definitely interested in going back for brunch!

Yelp
I have been to the cottage for dinner many many times and I would have said it was one of my favorite restaurants. However, I had a very bad experience going to brunch there. So I decided to be fair and do two reviews five star for dinner one star for brunch. Dinner: I love this place. I usually skip the entrées and just have appetizers but that's no dis to the entrées, which are great. My husband loves the burgers. Drinks are great. Stand out appetizers are the bao buns, carrot humus, deviled eggs. I usually order a sampling. Food is inventive and tasty. Service is great as well. Brunch: bad service AND bad food. Basic brunch food. My daughter wanted to replace the potatoes that came with the eggs with spinach or salad. She also asked for some grilled chicken. Waiter told us chef doesn't do substitutions, but he'd ask . Keep in mind we're not talking about anything elaborate. We ordered sunny side up eggs. Waiter ended up, bringing us the eggs with potatoes and a full entrée of chicken Paillard with spinach. Never asked, but charged us for the extra entrée. Also, they told us they didn't have any fruit in the restaurant. No fruit. The worst thing is the food wasn't very good. So we paid for three mediocre brunches instead of two. I was shocked because I have raved about it as a dinner place many times. I had the salmon teriyaki bowl, which was fine but nothing special. Bottom line: go for dinner skip brunch, but I'm so annoyed about the brunch that's I'm not sure when I'll be back for dinner.

Yelp
Good food, nice atmosphere and great service... the menu is interesting and well-prepared. My raw tuna poke bowl was perfect and everyone was more than satisfied with whatever they ordered.

Yelp
My husband and I made a reservation for our anniversary. We were immediately greeted, sat down and welcomed by a complimentary glass of champagne each. The waiter was attentive. I ordered a non alcoholic guava drink that was very tasty and refreshing and my husband had a pear drink/ can't remember the name but I tasted it and it was very good. My husband ordered the spicy pork belly and octopus and the flavor was incredible. It was served with lettuce to make a wrap and it was a good portion as well. I had the fish crudo app that was so fresh and citrusy! He had the lobster pasta fish that has been on the menu since created and I know why! It had a slight spice and was so flavorful. Pasta was freshly made. I had the halibut dish and it had a curry flavor that was memorable. We shared the peaches and cream dessert and it was heaven on a plate! I absolutely loved The cottage and hope to return again! @date_night_craves on instagram

Yelp
The Bao wagyu was amazing but I forgot to take a photo! It was my favorite thing that I tried worth all the accolades. The brisket was so tender.

Yelp
My friends and I really loved this place. We shared a bunch of dishes and everything was super delicious. There is some Asian flavor in all the dishes here and it was well done. This place is pretty new and I liked how bright and modern the restaurant is. Service was decent as well. I think this is probably my favorite restaurant in Fairfield county so far.

Yelp
Met a friend there for lunch and we both loved it. Top of the avenue so parking not bad, lol. I had the burger which lived up to the hype. My friend had the avocado tuna poke bowl which was super too. Service was super and good vibe in the place. Good lunchtime crowd, nice mix. Would definitely head back there!

Yelp
We LOVED our meal at the Cottage. The lasagna was exquisite, soft and fluffy. The pot pie was so flakey and heavenly, gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. We also had the Spicy scallop tartare on delicious crispy sushi rice and the hot honey english muffin pizza. WILEM (from the Greenwich location) - was the sweetest. We were late to our reservation because our toddler was napping and he accommodated us and was even kinder as we frantically unloaded all of our gear in the restaurant. Thank you for being such an upstanding guy to tired parents who just wanted a date night (with their kid).

Yelp
Just had the pleasure of dining here and what an absolutely spectacular meal. We ordered the Spicy Scallop Tartare which you order by piece and I could have had these all night. Warm crunchy rice against the fresh cold scallop with a bit of spice was a great combination. We also had the Wagyu Brisket Bao Buns which were a "build your own" and the fried rice. Both were delicious. For entrees we had the Black Bass and Mushroom risotto. The risotto was very traditional which I loved. No truffle on it which meant you could really taste the complexity of the mushrooms. For dessert we had the dark and stormy which was ginger beer sorbet with pineapple and it was amazing. Not sure what I was expecting but it exceeded that. We can't wait to come back! Staff was also super attentive and friendly, great ambiance, beautiful bar. Everything you want for a night out.

Yelp
Karen is was very unfriendly to people in front of the store and kept saying something about her plants needing peace and quiet. Someone must've missed their meds that day. The staff was very nice and clearly fears Karen especially after she's been drinking.

Yelp
My family and I love the cottage, always go out of our way to have any celebrations here. Would definitely recommend for any one looking for exceptional service and food.

Vera V.

Yelp
customer service is horrible. their system to pay by credit card didn't work (which they didn't tell us about before ordering). they demanded to pay cash or leave them a credit card number- so they can run it later. Write down the actual credit card #!!! thank goodness we had enough cash. when asked to reduce a bill for incredible inconvenience, their attitude was- you don't have to be back.

Yelp
My husband and I had such a great night and meal here!! We sat at the bar because we were walk-ins and the place was packed but had really good energy. The hostess was fabulous and raved about the place, the food, and the sister location in Rye called Oko. We have been to Oko so we knew this place would be great too. The bartender was cool and quite busy training another staff member along with managing all the drink orders. We had the Fresno way, island boy, and Japanese vesper martini. All were delicious and strong. For food we had the wagyu brisket bao buns (delish with a lot of filling so a little hard to maneuver), chioggia beet salad, miso black cod crepe (interesting twist having a savory crepe and my least favorite dish), duck fried rice (yummy and rich), and a pasta dish that was also very rich and filling. We ended the dinner with the buttermilk panna cotta. We were stuffed, satisfied, and buzzed! We look forward to going again to give some of the other menu items a taste!!

Yelp
The Cottage is an eatery that is hard to put into words. It's fusion, it's fine dining, and it's combinations of flavors I haven't experienced before. And I say that as a compliment. For appetizers, we ordered two Wagyu Brisket Bao Buns ($12 each = $24). These were deliciously flavored, melted in your mouth, and you assemble them yourself so you can build the perfect bite. It was served with black garlic sauce, and kimchi, which I am admittedly, not a huge fan of, so I used it sparingly. I did build the perfect bite, though the ratios were a bit off. They gave a huge mass of kimchi, and if we had used it all, it would have resulted in a product where the actual meat was undetectable. The buns were served with duck fat potato tempura, which was crisp and delicious, and even as a standalone appetizer, this tempura would have been a winner. Our other appetizer was Spicy Pork Fried Rice ($23), which was the size of an entree! It had a stellar kick, crispy pork belly pieces, mushrooms, and scallions, a sunny side-up egg, and an incredible depth of flavor. For entrees, we got both pasta and meat. For pasta, we got Handcut Papardelle ($35), with a duck confit, dukka spices, and a hint of cinnamon. I was shocked at how well these flavors played together, and the confit duck was melt-in-your-mouth tender. I also ordered the Roasted Pork Loin ($40 that seems to have had seasoning piped into it with a syringe, creating some of the most deliciously flavored pork I've ever ordered in a restaurant. This was served with sauteed spinach and crispy potatoes, both of which were seasoned very richly. For dessert, we ordered the Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse ($15) which was our one miss of the night. Too much was done to try to "elevate" a classic, and it fell flat. The little pieces of orange in it disrupted the smooth texture I was anticipating, it was an example of "less is more" not being adhered to. Holistically though, The Cottage is a beautiful eatery with rich, bold, and creative flavors that we would recommend wholeheartedly.

Yelp
The food at this Greenwich, CT. newcomer is awesome! (And I used to work at Gourmet Magazine in NYC.) Best tasting burger ever! Their carrot/hummus appetizer looked pretty but the combination of flavors was unusual and extraordinary!!! Their chef is very creative and aims to please and please he/she does!!!! My only disappointment was that the service was spotty. No menu brought to table, no drinks offered, so had to flag waiters down. Once things got going, meal came fast & service did improve.

Yelp
Already hitting its stride with exquisite food and good service. We came on the first Saturday after opening, the fifth night overall. We secured a reservation with Nadia, who made the experience a pleasure. The restaurant was hopping as the host showed us to a small but comfortable two top in the back near the kitchen. Started with a glass of Piper for me and a glass of Sancerre for La Portena. After consulting with our server, I settled on one piece of the Scallop Toast and one of the Brisket Bao, and a lobster salad for my date. The fresh scallop was topped with a truffle flavored mushroom topping, sort of a tartuffata. The bao came disassembled, one steamed bun, a chunk of moist wagyu brisket, and a log of potato tempura. There were three condiments, a sort of black garlic hoisin, kimchi, and sriracha aioli. Both of these apps are priced by the piece, so you can build your own plate. The lobster salad came with ribbons of burrata - hence the straciatella in the description. Two slices of well buttered toast came alongside. Portion size was adequate, but left us wanting more. Ordered a glass of Nebbiolo to go with the mains. The cedar roasted king salmon was melt in your mouth, with a bit of rhubarb on the side. The perfectly cooked saddle of lamb came with a bit of creamy puree, a sort of chimichurri, and a small meat filled pastry. Both dishes were excellent, but on the small side. Perhaps it was just as well that we were not full, because you don't want to skip dessert. The sticky toffee pudding was light and delicious, in a pool of salt caramel. The dot of creme fraiche on top added a touch of acidity. The affogato was equally scrumptious, our server pouring an espresso over vanilla gelato at the table. The staff were uniformly friendly and polite, but the attentive maitre d' Ralph deserves a special shout out. Chef also circulated and received our compliments on a meal well done. Overall one of the best meals we have had in Greenwich, and already in good form.

Yelp
Sadly, I am not able to provide a review of the food here. Today, my boss and I planned lunch there. I was waiting for my colleague outside The Cottage when an employee came outside and basically "shooed" me....apparently he assumed I was loitering, avoiding the rain perhaps although I had an umbrella. When I advised that I was simply waiting for someone, he asked for my name so that he could confirm my reservation. I advised that I did not have a reservation at which point he told me that he would need to "see" if they had room for us!! Needless to day, we chose to dine elsewhere.

John M.

Yelp
Today we were standing in front of the restaurant reviewing their menu when someone from the restaurant came out and told us they don't allow loitering in front of their restaurant. We work for a wealth management firm on the avenue, so I'm sure what type of clientele they serve. We went to Moli where the service and food was outstanding. What a joke!

K F.

Yelp
I thought about calling the food simple. But I think thoughtful is a better term. The dishes we had (I sampled them all) did not have a myriad of ingredients thrown together. Instead, they few, carefully selected flavors, thoughtfully selected and cleverly married. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to going back. Service could use a tweak and definitely do not raise the volume on the music.

Yelp
I love The Cottage in Westport and so happy it's now in Greenwich on the Ave. The night we dined a few weeks ago we sat at the counter next to the kitchen. Such a fun show with Christian and his team. So great to talk with him, and hear how menu items spring from his creative mind. We started with the spicy scallop tartare with crispy rice after seeing this dish leave the kitchen many times. So delicious. Just the right amount of silky scallop mixture perched atop the crunchy and chewy rice. I loved the salad with puffed rice- simple yet elevated, and the wagyu bao buns are decadent and fun. The beef just melts in your mouth. The English pea sachetti pasta is reminiscent of a pasta dish from Westport, where every bite is succulent and the crunch of the crumbs is that texture element you didn't realize you were craving. Ricotta ravioli also yummy. For dessert we dove into a layer cake that consisted of caramel with some type of crunch folded into the batter. The cake was spectacularly good. The Cottage is a very welcome addition to the dining scene in Greenwich. Something fresh and unique- and excellent.

Yelp
Excellent cocktails - not a wine place. Phenomenal menu. Manages to pull off eclectic without being odd. Great atmosphere - always lively, somewhat upscale, but not formal.

Yelp
My first visit. Dropped in solo on a whim around 7pm on a Friday. Dining room full but they accommodated me at the chefs bar. I'll cut to the chase - before leaving, I already made rezies to return tomoro night with my wife! This place rocks. Staff was warm and best of all I got to meet the chef who is also zen like and very friendly. He told me he just created the crudo dish which was a no brainer along with the burger. Chef even brought out a scallop on crispy rice on the house which was a super thoughtful touch and the kind of gesture behind why this guy and this restaurant has such a fan base. Living in OG, I get annoyed by Westport having the better restaurants and rubbing it in our faces, but now we have our own outpost of cottage so take that Westport! The crudo was excellent - a yuzu interpreted leche de Tigre and the knifework on the bass was awesome, all the cubes symmetrical and of equal size and these delicately placed onions. The burger medium rare was excellent but the star was clearly the comte in all its sweet and salty glory. Never seen anyone use that cheese on a burger. I would make the observation that the accompanying portion of fries is disproportionately large. Fries were good, almost great, but who in their right mind would eat all those fries. Here are my pics - hope you enjoy. Really impressive place. Staff was also really nice, dining room contemporary and elegant and nice music selection.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Food was bland and nothing special. The service started well but we waited almost 30 minutes trying to track someone down for a check. The wait staff were also unable to tell me exactly what ingredients are in their food which I find very strange and especially not helpful when you have food allergies.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
They turned a former Chipotle into a wonderful restaurant with food considerably better than a Chipotle...and the drinks are really tasty, too. Highly recommend this place.

Emma I.

Yelp
Like having this option on the Ave but it never quite hits the spot the way I wish it would. Some of the dishes are misses and service can sometimes be off or slow.

Robert B.

Yelp
Food is extremely overpriced for the quality. For that money I would rather travel into the city and enjoy a Tom Colicchio crafted meal. The service was polite. The Wagyu buns were totally underwhelming . The pasta ricotta gnocchi was tasty but ridiculously expensive for the puny "full" portion. $55 Black Truffles no where in sight I have personally collected truffles for cooking my own pasta The burger and the chocolate mouse were tasty $300 (including tip) for dinner for two is way too much for an underwhelming meal at this establishment I have no issues paying more if the returns justify

E S.

Yelp
I believe we'll be taking a break. The cocktails: portions are half size. Two tiny cocktails were $19. each. Appetizer: Tempura snap peas were small/okay. Entrée: Three scallops ($44) were gooey. Parsnip purée was pleasant. Dessert menu: Really needs to be revamped. Service: Not fine dining vibe. More like: Place your order now, as we will need your table.

JA N.

Yelp
Horrible time trying to get a reservation- when we got there the place was almost empty! Food was over salty, and service was slow. Expensive for what it was...

Sandra O.

Yelp
I always hate leaving a 2 star review for a restaurant, especially one where I had high expectations. Making a reservation was virtually impossible online so tried calling the restaurant and a lovely Alex answered and was able to give me a table very easily...lesson learned and will call the restaurant in the future if OpenTable or Resy not allowing me to secure the booking at any restaurant. The ambiance was lovely and our waitress as well. But for me, my dining experience is all about the food and not the interior design of the place, the prices, it's reputation or what famous personality I can spot! But 5-star reviews draw me in and I was truly excited to be "privileged" to dine at The Cottage. There were 3 of us and we all had something different...each of us equally dissatisfied. I was so disappointed in the actual flavor of my food. Each of the courses was tasteless and with a bit of a sloppy presentation: my appetizer was the black mission figs, gorgonzola cremificato - walnut crumble & bitter greens and I had ricotta ravioli for the main entrée. The ravioli was not hot and the crème sauce seemed "poured" over the ravioli...both lacked any artistic presentation or flavor. The absolute best part of the meal (and the only reason I did not give the restaurant a one-star) was the panna cotta dessert. Smooth, creamy with large blackberries and sorbet topping...truly worth the meal! I take writing a review on Yelp seriously. Giving a restaurant that has such a positive review makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. But I must say, I was extremely disappointed. Maybe I had expectations that were too high based on reviews I read. Or maybe the chef had a bad night...or the regular chef was off for the evening on summer vacation. For whatever the reason, to me it felt like the "Emperor's New Clothes" ...all hype and no substance.

Sadia S.

Yelp
Good ambience but food was disappointing- pretentious menu that just didn't deliver. Pasta was overcooked and bland and felt like they had been warmed in a microwave. Foie Gras piece was too thick and cold in the middle and accompanied brioche looked grocery bought and blah.

Happi Y.

Yelp
Great service. They've been open for a couple months but it is still a bit hard to get prime reservation times (6-7) through OpenTable but it Is worth giving them a call or reserve to make adjustments. I liked their foie gras and crispy rice.

Kristi W.

Yelp
The Cottage is a rare gem in a town full of overpriced but very average food. We went twice in one week after we tried it. Service and food is perfection.

Rachel G.

Yelp
We had been wanting to try The Cottage in Westport for a while since it had such great reviews and were excited when it opened closer in Greenwich. It was such a disappointment. Honestly, none of the food was great - some things were too salty or greasy and some were totally bland. Our server was terrible. He acted completely annoyed and apathetic. The high points were the decor and the mixed drinks. The host was also very friendly and helpful.

AA A.

Yelp
This restaurant needs a happy hour menu. It would increase their traffic for Earle dinner diners. Nice restaurant

Yelp
Visited the greenwhich location recently.Really fantastic menu, and food. I look forward to going back soon. It's a special treat.

Liza E.

Yelp
The food is excellent and we had no problem with the service. It's very expensive, though. Serving of Chicken Pot Pie is $36.00! Count on at least $100.00 per person for dinner.

Yelp
omg. 2nd time here in a week. staff that is local and knows the dishes. creative food unlike the standard greenwich fare. oko in rye rocks so i'm not surprised chef and owner Brian has done it again. nice decor and vibe. shout out to Rob the bartender and the staff.

Betsy W.

Yelp
This was sadly a disappointing experience. The pros were the decor which was sleek, luxe, and modern. The cocktails were by far the highlight of the meal, notably the cucumber vesper -which was stunning. The hostess was also very attentive at the start of our experience. Unfortunately though, it was downhill from there. The service was very very slow. I had to waive many times to order drinks, then food, then the bill. Overall though the main complaint is the food conceptually sounded ok, but was extremely bland. The fluke crudo was clunky at best and knife work poor with large chunks of fennel, not enough orange and chunky flavorless fish. The spicy squid was not spicy, and it was filled with large chunks of broccoli stems that weren't sauced well. I like broccoli, but I require more flavor and technique for an $18 app. Lastly, the lobster pasta dish ($35) was again flat. No layers or building of flavor. I was left with not subtle lingering unfresh fishy taste kind of like pre-cooked old lobster ....no tomato, no calabrian chili, and soggy bland breadcrumbs. I'm not going back for this at any price point. Par for the course of many restaurants on the ave, which tend to overcharge and way underwhelm. My hope is they're working out early kinks in service...but flavor should not be one of them.

Diane M.

Yelp
We've been to The Cottage in Westport and was very much looking forward to the new Greenwich location. Luckily, we were able to secure a table last minute no resi. The hostess was very accommodating. The food was outstanding and the service e was impeccable. Our server Julia, went above and beyond providing feedback on items, asking our honest opinions to share with the chef and in such a way that we felt humbled letter her know the true details. We ordered mostly small plates to share to get a taste for most of the menu. The plating was superb and the flavor profiles of the various dishes were spectacular. Loved it in Westport and love it even better closer to home. Will be back in August!

Tony B.

Yelp
When we arrived, we asked for a table inside they told us that the tables they were on occupied had reservations, and she was cedar southside, and as soon as one was available, they will let us know, and move us back inside after or appetizers arrived we noticed that all the tables were empty. We didn't notice that a young teenage couple arrived, and they seated them with no reservation then another couple arrives again with a Reservation and we're seated inside. after our appetizers, my wife went inside and asked if they could move us inside they did and we finished our dinner inside. Unfortunately we were left outside and it was freezing. Obviously that ruined most of the dinner and the waiter field to come back out. be honest with you the hostess was the biggest problem. She promised that she would let us know as soon as the table was available, but during the entire night, most tables were empty, and no one Saadat them we just can't understand the best part when my wife went inside, and asked if they could see this inside they did, but then she got upset and then went to the waiter who is helping us, and expressed her being unhappy. We have overheard him tell her don't worry Care of it. Obviously that made us feel very uncomfortable. This place isn't cheap. They could do better. No kids menu either. We all have kids hello
