The food is great, the atmosphere is cozy and they have a decent amount of vegan/plant-based options. You can dine-in or get take out. The pizza is really good, the burgers are good and I love their salads! Their salad serving sizes are fairly generous for the price and there’s many types of toppings to choose from plus all their dressings are vegan. Their roasted cauliflower bowl is one of my favorites and is so good! They offer a good variety of salads, sandwiches and pizzas to choose from but I really like that you can build-your-own if you want to customize your order. I thought their sandwiches were just okay but everything else I’ve had here has been great!

This place is so cute and unassuming. It’s also a great option for those seeking a restaurant with mixed dietary needs. From the outside it looks like just a takeout spot or that they only have bar seating, but they actually have 2 small floors of dining room seating. I sat on the top floor which overlooks the second floor. As the day turns to night they turn the lights down and create a real nice ambiance and atmosphere. For the food, I had the shaved brussels and cauliflower bowl and my friend had the plant based fish tacos and halibut. The shaved brussels were good. There was a mix of brussels with apples, walnuts and a sauce. The sauce was a little overpowering, but not bad. The cauliflower bowl was the star for me. I don’t know what kind of sauce they put on it, but it works. It had a rich taste, but not so that it wasn’t enjoyable. The fish tacos were tasty. They had a good avocado sauce on them. My friend said the halibut was flavorful, but it was smaller than what he thought he would get and as pictured. Oh and I almost forgot they have us complementary tomato soup shots. They were so cute and tasty. I would definitely eat here again.

What a great place to meet friends for lunch. It's upstairs on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and the service is outstanding!! The food was amazing! Got a complimentary mini mug of tomato soup, and then I enjoyed salmon everything bagel salad with spring mixed greens. So yummy!!!!!! Saw old friends today, they took a Lyft! Haven't seen them in 15 years, and we had such a great lunch today. Parking is tight, and I had to parallel park!! But what a great meal.

This place is the best. The vibe is super casual but the food is AMAZING! The gluten free pizza is incredible. They definitely have something for everyone. It's a go to for our friends who are a mix of gluten free, vegan, and meat and potatoes people.

First time We ordered the bella Napoli which was absolutely amazing (slightly cold tho). The crust is thin and crispy, sauce and cheese were in perfect proportions. We also got the pearfection salad, the salad was okay, the candied pecan, cranberry and the pear combination was too sweet for My liking but gotta say the pears were really fresh. Second time It didn’t disappoint. I got the wagayu burger with fries and their infamous food pyramid. Still consistent with freshness and quality.

Ever since having to cut out gluten, it’s been such a struggle to find places that not only have GF options, but also taste good! This place has been a life saver. Most of the menu items can be made GF, including the sides like cheesy bread and cinnamon sugar bread! The GF pizza is super tasty and doesn’t feel like I’m eating GF. Plus, they put a GF Sticker on the box so you know it’s truly GF, which is super appreciated. All the workers are super kind and attentive. I’d love to see some GF pasta added to the menu, but I know that’s not always possible (and to be fair I’ve only ever done take-out so not sure if they have those options upstairs in the bistro). Super yummy food whether you’re GF or not, highly recommend!

Solid 4/5. From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, everything flowed as one cohesive piece. It serves as a great casual date spot. Not too loud with dim lighting and you could certainly hear each other without shouting. Everything tasted great. My two gripes with the entire meal was that the wings were a bit small and the turkey sandwich was overly toasted to the point it was hard.

Great food! Club was amazing sandwich The portions were crazy big which is great so I recommend sharing. Grilled clubwich is now on my favorite list.

Y'allllll, buckle up. I love this place, and I reeeeeally enjoyed my first experience here!! 1) The service was great! Our waitress rocked, and she was so helpful with our questions. 2) The space is laid back and perfect for a cozy meal! Also, the allergen information and options are incredible. I was super impressed. 3) The food SLAPS. We had several things, and we all really enjoyed our food! My gluten free pizza was excellent, and it paired nicely with the tomato soup. They also give you a little sample of the soup once you order - it's adorable! My friends all really enjoyed their food as well.

I stopped by The Couch Tomato in Philly on a quiet Wednesday and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Sitting upstairs was a great choice--it was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Service: The service was excellent. My waitress had an intuitive sense of timing, always refilling my water or clearing plates without interrupting the flow of my meal. Food: The edamame potstickers were the standout--such a creative twist that left a lasting impression. The tomato soup was solid but tasted like a classic, no-frills tomato soup. The goat cheese salad, with its pecans and cranberries, was delicious and well-balanced. I also tried the shrimp tacos and the heart of palm tacos. Both were flavorful, filling, and left me satisfied. Ambiance: The relaxed and cozy vibe upstairs made this spot feel like a hidden gem for a midweek visit. Overall, The Couch Tomato is a charming place with good food, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere. I'd happily come back to explore more of their menu!

The dining area upstairs is super cute, we were sat all the way up on the third floor, which felt more intimate and calm than the second floor dining area. Our server was great, and we got little cups of tomato soup as a free treat! I loved the soup, and honestly wish I ordered that instead of the eggplant dip. The food was alright. I think a little pricy for the quality. I wouldn't go back for a date night, but might if a friend wanted to get some sit down pizza. They also have a typical pizza takeout stand on the first level.

Had a casual business lunch. I liked the atmosphere which felt warm and cozy matching the name well. Unfortunately I wish I felt the same about the food. Everything salmon salad felt like everything dressing with a side of salad. Completely drenched. Requested to add avocado and waitress forgot. Shaved ribeye sandwich was very dry. Not sure if this area knows good food. Was completely disappointed to the point where I can't bring myself to give them a second chance and try something else. Service and food were very mediocre.

I've only ordered through DoorDash, and was quite pleased both times. I'm dairy intolerant so was excited about their nondairy cheese - very good - and loved the selection of gourmet veggie toppings like artichoke hearts, portobellos, roasted peppers and balsamic glaze. Wish you could get goat cheese on the individual pizzas, and that pineapple was a topping option, but I still give it five stars!

The food is always on point here. The ambience is nice upstairs. The service is always impeccable I definitely recommend this restaurant 10 out of 10!!

Nice location and tons of seating available. Available for walk up take out or dine in. Outside dining available that's dog friendly. Super friendly and attentive staff. They work well together to support each others tables. Sodas- meh cause it's Maine Root brand. Not much flavor and a bit pricy. Each table gets a complimentary soup shooter- gluten and dairy free tomato bisque. It was really good but a bit bitter. Coach Tony pizza- hot honey pairs well with the other flavors. Not too sweet or too hot. Personal pizza- mushroom chunks good flavor. Sauce is a bit sweet. Fries- fresh homemade comes with a cool chipotle sauce. The sauce is thin with a slight kick.

Everything was delicious. Fast and friendly service too! Sat upstairs in a window seat and liked the view. The shaved Brussel sprouts were yummy. The burger was big and juicy. Cousin Sam pizza had lots of flavor and tasted so fresh. We will be back.

Grandson, daughter, wife and I dined here on Thursday evening. We all had a marvelous meal, Ambiance was lovely, waitress was top notch. Food was superb and prices were reasonable given the inflated environment we all live in these days. I had the chicken chipotle soup as a starter and it was chunky, chicken, spicy delicious. We all shared the fried avocado which was 4 pieces so each had one. My wife (vegetarian) had faux crab cake which tastily mimicked the real thing, grandson had pizza which he enjoyed, and daughter (vegetarian) got Buffalo chicken quesadilla with Seitan that she loved and my entree was Everything Salmon salad which I enjoyed. Great selection of beers and ciders. We will go again!

Ordered for takeout from here and it was amazing. As someone who is always looking for good gluten free options, this place hit the nail on the head. I got a salad and pizza. The personal Bella Napoli with gluten free crust was so amazing! I ate half for lunch- and saved half for dinner. It was even better after being in the refrigerator. I can't wait to come back again next time I'm in town.

Got lunch here with friends. Ali B was the most incredible server, so kind and fun and had the best recommendations. Sweet Potato fries here are a MUST!!! Can't wait to come back!

Wow, an unexpected find in Manayunk Philly. We scratched the surface with our lunch selection while exploring Main Street on a hot day. We sat outside with our dog under their red umbrellas shielding ourselves from the sun's rays. Our server was super attentive. My wife had the Waygu beef burger med-well with sweet potato fries, both were cooked to her perfection. I had their quinoa gain salad and added grilled chicken, was fantastic, the flavor and size really hit the spot. Their house lemonade was delightful on this hot summer day. Will need to come back to check out their extensive beer menu and fabulous-looking pizza options. See my food pics (apologize, as the red umbrellas killed the color)

I am very particular about my vegan pizza. Coach Tomato passed my test. Fresh ingredients, ready on-time and reasonably priced. I have nothing but good things to say about Coach Tomato!!

We came here because of all the good reviews but I think I am not that into American food so it wasn't my favorite. It seems like it would be a good lunch spot for sandwiches. If you love typical American food like salads, pizza, etc then I think you would enjoy this place. The servers are very friendly. They gave us tomato soup to try which was nice, however the soup was quite sweet... and tasted a bit like sweet pasta sauce.

Couch tomato is a favorite of mine and I find myself coming back again and again. There's great variety of food and it's all good. What do I recommend? A place that serves pizza, cheesy bread, wings, sandwiches? I recommend salad! The fried goat cheese salad. Seriously, thank me later.

So I am kind of mad at myself for not trying this place earlier. For at least 2 years we have enjoyed boxed lunches from here at work during catering events. Finally on a beautiful Friday afternoon, we sat outside, got a little app (the asparagus) and 2 sandwiches. They gave us complimentary tomato soup which was oh so so so delicious! And the sandwiches were absolutely fresh, light and perfect amount of savory . I really can't wait to go back and try their pizzas a d pastas.

Quaint, multi-leveled cafe located in Manayuck , PA. Is a great go to for organic, locally-sourced food that is both fresh and delicious. There's a little something for everyone with it's menu. While we waited for our meals, our server provided us with a sampling of their signature tomato basil soup. It was a nice warm welcome. We all opted for sandwiches. Serving size seemed perfect. We all enjoyed our meals. Looking forward to coming back and trying something else from their extensive menu.

Food was variable in quality (ok sandwich, extremely disappointing pizza with cheap tasting pepperoni). Could have been an off day since so many reviews are high. Very clean establishment. Clean bathroom.

I first had this when it was catered for a lunch and was very impressed. I'm not usually a salad girl or a cold pizza girl, but both were really good. This time we dined in. Kind staff and good food presentation but I didn't love the food as much this time. Was hoping for more sweetness with the shaved brussel sprouts for the sweet and savory profile that was described. I enjoyed the balsamic on the pizza but the crust was very lacking. More on the flat, dry side.

We landed on spot on a Sunday afternoon after walking through a street festival full of vendors and natural wares. It started to rain pretty hard so we ducked in here and what a great decision! I ordered a roasted eggplant flatbread that was like a super healthy pizza with this light tomato sauce base, thin and fluffy crust, and roasted eggplant crumbles with sliced basil. I also got an everything salmon salad- mixed spring lettuce base, a nicely grilled sliver of salmon, fresh veggies like red onion and diced cucumber...they have these AMAZING wings. Get the wings! This is a great place for kids and adults. We had a few hiccups with our orders- Malcolm doesn't eat cheese, so we had to get his order re-done. Our waitstaff was pleasant and very accommodating. Food came out VERY quickly, and e didn't realize how much we ordered until our table was full of plates. Five stars!

Comfort food in a casual setting! Ok first things first - food was bomb! I went for a Saturday lunch and got the southwest burger (crispy chicken, provolone, lettuce, chipotle aioli). I'm a picky eater so I got this but it was actually really delicious. The best part is that they gave complimentary tomato soup that came in cute little espresso cups anyway the price came out to just about $31 including tip for two lunches! Service was also good and the waitress was nice. We sat outside so I can't comment on the indoor seating situation. Overall the vibes are casual and the food was yummy!

Great food, using quality ingredients. The restaurant in manayunk is cute. I like that there is a choice to either pop in to grab a quick bite to eat or the option to have a sit down meal upstairs. Service is good too.

This place is a place worth coming back to thats for sure. I loved the service. We were greeting almost immediately and sat down around brunch time. Our waitress even brought us complimentary tomato soup in mini cups. Thay tomato soup was definitely delicious! I ordered the Baja chicken sandwich and the partner in crime ordered the burger. We both cleaned our plates lol. I just wish the chicken had a touch more seasoning but it was still pretty good. They have a nice little Italian vibe there that I like and I want to come back for the pizza!

A solid spot for good pizza and soups, The Couch Tomato is a pleaser. I'm a big fan of the tomato bisque shooters for sure! I just kinda wish management could find some way to be a bit more on top of seating, but they do a great job with catering and takeout. I don't know if it's really management's fault though - the building's geometry prevents there being a good place to put a host stand or allow for waiting room. Other than that, good vegan, solid vegetarian, and nice drinks!

They have some nice outdoor seating and a bar like indoor seating. Service was quick and good. Ancho-Agave Buffalo Wings: 4/5 pretty good wings. A bit misleading with the buffalo part but the creamy agave sauce was the star of the dish. The wings themselves could've been juicier and a better crust but not bad. Grilled Cheese Combo: 4/5 Great tomato bisque! Love the crust on the grilled cheese. You better make sure to dunk that into the tomato bisque thought otherwise it is pretty hard. The cheese choices could have been better, but decent. Would've a more flavorful blend. Wagyu Burger: 4/5 Absolute beast of a burger. Great cook on the burger. Could've used a bit more seasoning and better placement as the bottom bun got really soggy. It was juicy and delicious nonetheless paired with some solid fried. Overall: Pretty solid place with reasonable prices! It was a good eat with good food with an experience that you should try if you're in the are.

The service was great. We had a very kind and polite waitress. But the food was just "meh.." not terrible but not particularly good either. Pretty much middle of the road bar food. We got the mushroom arancini for the starter. It was very greasy and overall bland. I got a wagyu burger which came out well done (I ordered medium rare) and it lacked any seasoning. No salt, no pepper so it was bland. They were kind enough to make another one for me and even though it was cooked properly, it still lacked flavor. This is an average place at best.

Best gluten-free vegan pizza I ever had! But their whole menu is phenomenal. Service is great, restaurant location is optimal. Right off Main st in Manayunk, with 3 stories, top two being indoor seating. I really enjoy dining here every time I go!

This place is always kinda busy when I go and I suspect it's due to a consistently delightful product. I've tried a variety of items and they've all been fantastic. The inside is fairly small but they have a good deal of outside seating.

I'm in love with the fried goat cheese salad. It is so simple and so good!! I also always get a tomato soup with every order, even if I don't eat it that day, it's a wonderful heater-upper!!

We received a gift certificate in December and decided to use it in May. They have options for all including vegetarians. My husband the vegetarian was delighted to see the array of choices. I chose the build your own burger which was phenomenal, the beef was very tasteful and the portion was extremely generous. They may specialize in pizza but the burger was the star to me!

My husband and I had an impromptu dinner here after having ordered delivery many times. There were so many more offerings, including a really well- spiced and smoky eggplant dip and a host of additional dinner plates, salads and sandwiches. My black bean burger and sweet potato fries were scrumptious and my husband loved his pulled pork barbecue sandwich with delicious caramelized onions. Well worth the pain of looking for a parking spot. Want to give a shoutout as well to our server, Noah, who was attentive and fun.

Couch Tomato is the best! the staff is so friendly, the food is consistently tasty, the happy hour deals are great quality and size. It's always my go to for to-go salads, grilled cheeses and soup, or eat in for great quality comfort food. So good!!

The Couch Tomato is one of our favorite spots in Manayunk. Consistent, delicious, relatively affordable, and great vegetarian options. Really appreciate how they can make so many items vegetarian or even vegan! They have a great happy hour too. Some of my favorite items are their sandwiches (buffalo, with seitan instead of chicken is the best) and pizzas (mushroom pizza). Also, who wouldn't love a place that gives you complimentary tomato soup samples?

I went for brunch with my friend, and it was absolutely delicious. What I love about this place is that a good majority of the food is vegetarian or completely plant-based. As more and more people adopt this lifestyle, I think it's great that there are more options. I had the veggie sandwich and subbed in regular cheese for the vegan cheese. It was delicious. I would love to go back sometime, and I think it's a cute little gem in the area.
