The Best Restaurant Patios and Outdoor Dining in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"A go-to for weddings and private parties, the Court of Two Sisters is also known for its ample jazz buffet and stunning outdoor dining area. Its Creole Louisiana fare, while not reinventing the wheel, is solid, as the old-school cocktails are solid. There are seemingly endless nooks and crannies to discover in the courtyard, a lovely setting. Did we mention it’s haunted? Plus, wisteria blooms surround the place during springtime." - Missy Frederick

New Orleans’s Haunted Bars and Restaurants - Eater New Orleans

"Rumored to be the location of at least three of Jean Lafitte’s bloody duels and the location of Marie Laveau’s voodoo incantations, the Court of Two Sisters is known for more than just an ample jazz buffet. The site of at least one unsolved murder, the touched have reported seeing fairies and sprites partying in the courtyard. We chose the Court of Two Sisters for one of our few treasured meals during our brief two-day stay in New Orleans over Memorial Day 2025. The restaurant caught our attention for its rich history and the fascinating story behind the building, as well as the opportunity to sample a wide variety of New Orleans cuisine thanks to the buffet-style setup. In the end, we found ourselves appreciating the ambiance, history, and warm hospitality even more than the food. The buffet fare was good, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. That said, we’re still glad we had the experience—it’s a beautiful venue with undeniable charm. Next time, we hope to return for dinner and order from the à la carte menu in hopes of a more memorable meal. If you're a foodie who enjoys historic dining spots, it’s definitely worth a try.

Really cool restaurant with rich history and a beautiful ambience! Service and staff were really kind and attentive. However, the food was such a disappointment. We went for early brunch (before 11am) and it just seemed like a glorified continental breakfast spread. Very carb-heavy with a few special meats at the end, such as fish, veal, and duck, which was pretty overcooked and dry. This was accompanied by a basic selection of cut fruits, and a whole section of raw ingredients for a salad bar - not the spread we expected for the price. Not worth the brunch buffet price at all. However, it may serve as a good spot to stop by in the evening with the overhanging lights on and a better selection from the a la carte menu! I would recommend sitting outside, indoor seating looks like an old diner - nothing special.

After 6 days of visiting New Orleans, this was the best among my trip. The atmosphere was beautiful in the courtyard. Kudos to our waiter, Conrad, for making us feel welcome and for taking some pictures for us. I definitely recommend getting reservations. Turtle soup was absolutely amazing! Complete with a splash of sherry. Fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly. Crab cakes were 6/10. (However, please note, I get a crab cake wherever I go, so I'm snooty with my crab cakes and have a lot to compare them to. I prefer them without a lot of outer breading /panko). Blacked redfish entree was also great. It was an interesting pineapple sauce.

Amazing jazz music making the perfect ambiance. Effortless service with the buffet and delicious food and drinks! Server Mark B attended us with the upmost efficiency and even gave us great recommendations as a local! Super attentive and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place! Vegetarian options included!

Google
Great food and great service. Our server, Joe, was on point. Was wonderful to experience such fine dining experience at such a storied establishment. The brunch was a class above. Cannot say enough to give due credit. Highly recommended if you’re in The ‘Big Easy’.

We had a wonderful time yesterday evening. Our waiter was fantastic! This was the only time in the US where we had some culture in a restaurant. Erwing was amazing. Chef's menu was brilliant! Atmosphere is magical. Prices affordable. For those who love to have a good time not just a quick dinner, this is perfect.

Google
We had a fantastic brunch experience, made even better by our amazing server, MIKE. He was warm, attentive, and took the time to share the heartfelt story behind the restaurant, which truly added a special touch to our visit. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed dining with a lovely backyard view, soaking in the peaceful ambiance. The live jazz music added just the right vibe to make the brunch feel both relaxed and elegant. Huge thanks to MIKE for his outstanding service and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Google
I've been on a recommendation tour of New Orleans dining, and this one was on the list. The food was outstanding. It's not a fast joint so if you go, be ready to enjoy the experience for a while. The crab cakes are an absolute must! The horseradish sauce on top is something I wish I had in my fridge for all sort of stuff. It's so good. The table side made Cesar salad was amazing! They make the dressing from scratch right there. I got the veal Oscar for the main dish and it was really good. My buddy got the crawfish and shrimp Cajun pasta and it looked fantastic! All in all, I highly recommend this place! The outside seating is really cool, we just missed the wisteria being in bloom though.

Rachel C.

Yelp
The ambiance is lovely. But the food is hit or miss. The crawfish pasta lacked seasoning entirely, and the bacon on the jalapeño appetizer was underdone. But the crab cake & corn was pretty good.

Yelp
This restaurant has beautiful ambiance! The courtyard seating is beautiful, although a bit hard to navigate between the crowded tables and uneven floors. We enjoyed dinner in the courtyard and our service was excellent! We very much enjoyed the friendly staff and their knowledge of the menu and area. We all had the Chef's tasting menu, highly recommend! It's an excellent value for the quality of food and everything was delicious. All of the cocktails we had were great and reasonably priced. The banana's foster is prepared table side, which was a wonderful show and very tasty! Definitely want to go back to try their brunch!!

Yelp
We made a reservation for a 1 pm brunch. We were super excited and arrived. We got checked in. Then we instructed to wait at the bar area to be seated. The decors is amazing here. We finally got seated and we got in our drink order. There is so much to choose from. My hubby got coke and I have an invest 90 L (virgin hurricane). Then we went out to get our food. There is a lot to choose from. I went to get ribeyes, shrimps, wild rice, cream spinach, paella, chicken gumbo, orange duck, etc. they are all good. The rib eye is a little overcooked in my opinion. It is chewy. The orange duck however was super yummy. Same for cream spinach. Then I have some red bean and rice and quiche. To me the quiche is more like just steamed egg but it could be better I think. Then I went to try the dessert. I have lemon cake, white chocolate cake, pecan pie, and bread pudding with the fresh whipped cream. They were very good. Overall choices for food are plenty and overall the good are yummy and delicious and staff are all friendly and attentive. The outside patio area is beautiful unfortunately today was rainy day and at the same time maybe lucky so I got to take all the pictures I want. There was also live band playing at our dining area!

Yelp
This place is conveniently located in the French Quarter. It's an easy walk from popular attractions in the area. We were able to get brunch reservations 48 hours out via online booking. You can see the history in this place and it had a nice charm to it. However, the experience was dampened by the quality of the food and service. Although the selection had much variety and offered some traditional New Orleans staples, I believe it was poorly executed. The grits were so dry, the duck was tough, the salad bar had brown/wilted lettuce, the red beans and rice was way too salty, and the jambalaya was dry and bland. I don't think I found anything in the buffet selection that I really really enjoyed or that I would return for. The service was also very lacking. Our server couldn't be bothered to give us any type of drink menu or even take our drink orders for that matter. I had to keep stopping him as he kept walking past us, just to ask for something that took 20-30 minutes to come. I also asked staff where the baby changing station was, because on the bathroom sign, it clearly said to ask staff if you needed it. The hostess barely looked up at me to tell me they don't have one. I honestly would not return. We were so disappointed. This was our first dining experience in New Orleans and it left us with a sour taste. We did enjoy the live music, which was honestly only played for a short time we were there, but I'm sure there are better places to go for brunch.

Yelp
A local friend recommended this place as well and we happened to be walking by it and decided to try out the jazz brunch. It. was. awesome. So glad we did it because we almost didn't. Jazz band was cool and you are seated in the back in a really cute courtyard. You can order stuff a la carte as well as the buffet. The buffet is great because you can try all sorts of New Orleans food all in one meal. It was so great! Even the desert area. The three of us absolutely loved this place and would go again. Great service as well and such a great setting.
google avatar

Yelp
Very fun, regal, old timey French feel to this place. The brunch food options were amazing and the jazz music sounded great. The musicians could've been more consistent with their play time, but nonetheless, it was an amazing experience. If I come back to NOLA, I'll be stopping in again for sure.

Yelp
The lunch buffet was amazing, and worth the $36/person. We enjoyed trying the creole cuisines- our favorite was the rice, rib eye roast, jambalaya, okra and tomatoes. We also truly enjoyed the creamed spinach, and banana fosters with ice cream. We also enjoyed the Hurricane cocktail, it was a creeper drink because I couldn't taste the alcohol at all- it was perfect! Mark took good care of us, and cleared our plates and refilled our drinks in a blink! There was a live jazz band which added to the ambiance of the beautiful restaurant. When you see the restaurant from outside, you'll never guess the restaurant and courtyard is hiding inside! We would definitely come back again! Happy Eats

Yelp
I was invited for a work event. The space is enormous and full of charm and history. They have a wonderful outdoor courtyard that many folks were enjoying for dinner. We were put in a private space off the courtyard and it was charming. We were treated with some delicious appetizers, none of which I took photos of. I really enjoyed the mozzarella and tomatoes, the bacon wrapped duck, the mini beef Wellington were amazing and finally a puff pastry wrapped goat cheese. All the folks working our event were wonderful, attentive and provided great service. For dinner we had a menu of gumbo, salad choice of entree and bread pudding. All was delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great waitress she was a little quirky and off with memory. Drinks and food took long because waitress said kitchen was "acting a fool" to last night. But you must try the chefs menu. The alligator sausage is delicious a sweet and tangy (not spicy) it's. Big portion. Try the duck breast it's in a fried dark rice bed with a sweet sauce. Perfectly cooked and tender. All entrees are $28-40 and don't bring any sides. You just get the bananas foster dessert Try the sazerac here.

Yelp
This place was recommended for brunch by several people. We were able to get an inside table overlooking the courtyard. They offer an extensive buffet with traditional brunch items and New Orleans dishes. There is a live jazz band that played most of the time that we were there. They have bottomless mimosas with various flavors. I had the pineapple mimosa which was very good. The food was delicious. I loved everything that I ate. Our server Ashae took care of us.

Yelp
I highly recommend planning ahead for brunch at this restaurant, as reservations fill up quickly! The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the garden and the live jazz. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including both traditional American and Cajun options. While I wasn't completely wowed by the food, I did enjoy the bottomless mimosas and learning about the restaurant's history. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxed brunch ans worth experiencing it at least once!

Yelp
My wife went here for dinner almost 2 decades ago & it left an impression. So when we came for my first trip to New Orleans, we had to check it out. The setting is exactly as described, on old brick courtyard with overhanging ivy & lights which almost make you feel like you travelled back in time to what you imagine old New Orleans was like. Very good seafood (not like that comes as a shock), & when they do table side Bananas Foster, it's a sight. Great atmosphere, especially at night.

Yelp
Wow! This place was great! Perfect ambiance. We wanted to sit out in the courtyard but due to the weather we couldn't. Our waitress was the absolute best! She was very friendly and personable. I ordered the French 75 to drink. It is a classic. It's made with gin, sweet and sour, simple syrup, and brut champagne. It is served chilled. So delicious and light! For my meal, I ordered the Veal Oscar, which is pan fried baby white veal cutlets, new potato mash, steamed asparagus, jumbo lump crabmeat, and Tasso hollandaise. This was incredible! So much flavor! It was exactly what I wanted and expected. For my dessert, I ordered the Bananas Foster. It is flambéed table-side with brandy and banana liqueur. It is served with vanilla ice cream. Fantastic! Would definitely go back and recommend!

Yelp
Great location for a jazz brunch. They have music everyday and the outdoor seating area is very shaded and comfortable. You do have to watch out for the bird but other than that it's a wonderful experience. Buffet style but all the server were super attentive to get you any drinks or clear plates as needed. Didn't feel rushed and was allowed to seat for as long as we wanted to enjoy the music.
google avatar

Yelp
The court of two sisters may be iconic but their brunch buffet was anything but that. Drinks were way overpriced (28 for a Bloody Mary double) Hollendase sauce was so watery there was practically no flavor. English muffin was so stale I couldn't cut it with a knife. Eggs were perfect. The prime rib was so salty I couldn't take a second bite. Shrimp was small and bland. We were placed at a table inside that was wet due to the air conditioner dripping, and weren't allowed to move. The waiter hovered over while paying the which was uncomfortable to say the least. Had very high expectations. The restaurant, courtyard and jazz were incredible. Spend your time and money elsewhere. Not worth $150 for 2 drinks and a sub par buffet.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots during my trip to New Orleans. I made reservations for two well in advance, but I think I could have walked right in. It was noon on a Wednesday. It was an all you can eat buffet that covered all the New Orleans essentials! And every taste I had was better than the last, my goal was to try ALL the things. Etouffe, jambalaya, local cornbread, bananas foster, mimosas of course. It was all SO good. The patio too was magnificent; there are fans and ample trees and even on a hot day it was quite comfortable to sit outside. Service is great, live music was great, food was magnificent and I can't wait to go back again.

Yelp
The main draw of this restaurant is undoubtedly its ambiance, which deserves a five-star rating. However, the service can be inconsistent, varying greatly depending on your server. While we encountered a particularly unremarkable waiter, we were also assisted by one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and helpful restaurant employees I've met in a long time. As for the food, it's quite mediocre. While the menu offers the typical New Orleans dishes, the quality and taste leave much to be desired. The food often sits around and congeals, making it difficult to recommend anything other than the basics like the salad bar and dessert bar. I regret not opting for the freshly made eggs or omelettes from the station, despite the long line; instead, I chose the pre-prepared food, which was a major mistake.

Yelp
Many people recommended this place when I said I was going to New Orleans for the first time. While I appreciate the history behind how this restaurant started, I was not that impressed with the buffet. If you plan on coming here, make reservations ahead of time. They fill up quickly but I was able to make one around 2 weeks in advance. They have a separate dining room if you're ordering a la carte and a separate area for the brunch buffet. The brunch buffet is $36 per person. Although it's advertised as a "live jazz brunch buffet" we only heard live music for less than 20 minutes. I don't believe their brunch menu changes so you can see everything that will be served on their website. My initial impression of the menu was that there were way more side dishes than meats/protein. The ones that I ended up liking were the fried catfish and ribs. I was excited about the prime rib but it ended being bland and overcooked. It also took a while for food to be refilled so I went back and forth to the buffet around 4 times but only brought plates back twice. The dessert section was also underwhelming. I tried the bananas foster and some chiffon cake my mom brought which was way too sweet and overpowered by butter. This place is probably advertised as one of those "must do" attractions but I'd recommend skipping out and dining elsewhere.
google avatar

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
Meh a buffet. It had a huge selection. There were a few highlights; the corn salad, the bacon and andouille, the quiche. The music didn't play enough. The roast was well done. Um no. The ham seems processed. The service was good. The birds that flew around while you are eating were cute.
google avatar

Bill J.

Yelp
I always love to dine here. The atmosphere is charming and the food and service is outstanding. The restaurant has been in operation since 1832, so it's one of the oldest eateries still in existence in New Orleans. They have a nice menu with plenty of options to choose from, and no matter what I've selected, I've never had a bad meal here!
google avatar

Cassy B.

Yelp
The court of two sisters is a good place to go to get your very first taste of New Orleans cuisine. Is it touristy? Yes. Is the food the best I've ever had? No. BUT - it's a good place to sample a little of everything and kind of get a feel for different items that you're not familiar with then get those dishes at other restaurants while you're in New Orleans. I loved the outdoor seating and the live jazz is very nice and perfect to listen to while you enjoy your food. The service is great too. Absolutely get the biscuits - they were one of my favorite things here. As for the buffet - some things were a hit and others were not. Again, it's all to get a feel for some gumbo, some wild rice, some fish dishes. Get a little taste and see what you like, then go from there! I don't think this is a must-do when in the French quarter but if it's on your list absolutely go for it.
google avatar

Helen M.

Yelp
I had the best New Orleans dinner with my friends here at The Court of Two Sisters. It was a lovely ambiance with the largest green space in the French Quarters. We ate in the beautiful courtyard and I wouldn't have it any other way. The waitress brought us fresh baked bread and butter. The butter became spreadable fast with the heat. I felt like a Disney Princess with all the little birds around waiting for some bread crumbs. The drinks were devine a cucumber lemonade. For dinner I ordered the Louisiana Crawfish and Shrimp Pasta. The pasta was perfect with the heat blend of seafood was tasty. I would highly recommend this place. I can't wait to come back and enjoy some great New Orleans Food in the near future.
google avatar

Samantha H.

Yelp
The food tasted amazing & the southern hospitality was so incredible from all the staff. They even took our group pictures in the outside patio and the area was just beautiful. There were some food items I wasn't really feeling, such as the turtle soup, but only because it was too different of taste for myself but it still wasn't terrible. All the food tasted amazing for sure and it's so worth the experience.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for the brunch buffet. It was delicious! I also loved the historic atmosphere. Definitely will be returning!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
The Court of Two Sisters was a wonderful spot to finish out my first full day of conferences in NOLA. I had been to their brunch as a kid but never for dinner. Service was top notch and you can't go wrong with the atmosphere! The food was definitely on the pricier side but portion sizes were pretty good. I enjoyed my Veal Oscar (though the veal was a bit stringy) and my cocktail was delightful. I can't remember its name but it was their take on a hurricane so it had a slight twist!
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
We visited for the jazz brunch and were glad for that decision. It's hard to find a place in New Orleans that can accommodate both a vegetarian (who does eat eggs) and an avid carnivore but this did it for us. The buffet was plentiful and the staff was frequently cleaning and refilling as trays emptied. Our server Merlin was kind and attentive along with another gentleman who kept our waters topped off all morning. The omelette station was efficient, there was a large variety of foods to choose from and it was nice to be able to try some Cajun dishes without committing to a full meal. The atmosphere was beautiful with the treetop canopy over the courtyard outside and the jazz band sounded great. Highly recommend this wonderful brunch spot!
google avatar

Chloe C.

Yelp
This place was beautiful and had a lot of options but I was beyond disappointed. First off our server didn't tell us drinks weren't included in brunch price which is fine but she brought us refills of juice without asking and a carafe of juice but didn't tell us it costs an additional price. The food was mediocre. The fruit, grits and ribs were good but everything else was not. And the worst part.. the jazz band played for all of ten minutes we were there. Please trust me and don't go.
google avatar

Pat I.

Yelp
It's an overrated- expensive buffet. I'll take the blame for not looking into it before we strolled in for lunch. But it was by far, the Worst food I've had in New Orleans hands down. My Benedict was disgusting. They had pre-cooked the egg & then just dropped it into hot water for a few seconds before it was put on my plate in a puddle. The bernaise sauce looked like snack shack nacho cheese. Barely any fruit options and the bacon was super thin & all fat. The guy at the omelette station was great- but he was alone & the line was really backed up. The worst part- 4 people, with tip it was over $160 and we didn't even get cocktails, just one Diet Coke, that they charge separately for. The courtyard was just meh. Plenty of nice courtyards in the quarter with much better food. Really disappointed in this over-hyped restaurant.
google avatar

Ricardo J.

Yelp
We came here on our first morning in NOLA for the Jazz Brunch. Luckily we had reservations, which I suggest getting. This beautiful historic restaurant fills up very quickly with people. The food selections can be a bit overwhelming. I didn't eat a single bad thing here, and I wish I had come here with a bigger appetite. I highly suggest getting a custom made omelet with the house made seafood stuffing. The stuffing is comprised of shrimp and crawfish along with a rich sauce. Delicious. There is a wide variety of traditional brunch dishes as well as plenty of unique local offerings. The crawfish pasta salad at the cold bar was a nice surprisingly spicy hit. Take your time after you eat or while you wait for your table to take in the historic setting and the amazing courtyard. The French Quarter prides itself on its courtyards, and this one is magnificent.

Yelp
This place was suggested by our Uber Driver. *It's A Buffett* I don't usually do buffets, but since we were already there I gave them a try. Our waitress was very sweet and welcoming. There's a wide variety of food options, but I'm a picky eater and don't feel I got my money's worth. The atmosphere is nice. There's inside and outside dining. We chose inside because it was way too hot during Essence Fest. Weekend. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and glad I went, but I don't think I'd go back.
google avatar

Bianca E.

Yelp
Our first night in the French Quarter my husband and I dined here for dinner. While I enjoyed the food the service and interior of the restaurant was lacking. The interior is outdated and service is very slow. Our server went missing for long periods of time and often left trays of glasses or dirty dishes at the side of tables in service. While making the table side caesar salad instead of using the egg yolk of the egg he used the white. I assumed this was how this restaurant made theirs but I doubt it because it was quite gross. Our actual dinner however was good, I got the seafood pasta and my husband got the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were rich and buttery. If I were to try this place again I think I would have better luck with brunch because that's what they're most popular for.
google avatar

Christopher A.

Yelp
Came here from suggestion of our Uber driver for buffet brunch made reservation for 1130 am and was seated immediately. Lots of options in the buffet hot and cold dishes and desserts. Live jazz music was great. The boiled shrimp was overcooked and dry and cornbread really dry and chicken salad dry with no flavor along with the 3 bean salad .Other than that everything was good
google avatar

Gary D.

Yelp
This place is living on its past laurels in my opinion. The facility is very tired. We went for the brunch buffet which is over priced at $36 per person before any drinks. The food was plentiful but pretty bland overall. The service was pretty good but on the slow side. Wouldn't go back to be honest.
google avatar

Yelp
Great for people out of town to try a bunch of New Orleans food all in one place! Great atmosphere also! Jazz brunch is a must!
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
After eating food from different restaurants the previous 3 days, I expected the food to be better. Perk is all the options at the buffet. The best item was the sweet potato dish. The outdoor patio was delightful but unfortunately another large party was there celebrating the day after a wedding & we were subject to the most obnoxious father of the bride speech. It was terrible. Anyways, that should have been private. The mic was unnecessary. Our server was great. Loved his personality & his hair.
google avatar

Lizzie D.

Yelp
We had a pleasant dinner here and enjoyed the table side bananas foster with the flambé experience. Food was good but certainly not the best meal we enjoyed in NOLA. We were in the main dining room and our server disappeared on us for a while. We saw another table walk out when the server went missing. The dining room is elegant but I think the experience in the courtyard for brunch is better than the dining room dinner experience. I love the details in the courtyard, showcasing the best of NOLA charm.

Yelp
Had a fine dining evening at this establishment. This place was built for me. It's cozy and intimate but still can accommodate large groups and everyone can have a good time. The shrimp and Grits are to absolutely die for! The lemonade and cucumber drink a cooling I never knew I needed. Will be back! The service was great! I was attended to in excellent fashion!
google avatar

Kellie D.

Yelp
While I didn't get the chance to eat here, I was able to squeeze in a quick Kir Royale at the carriage bar. Delicious! This place has so much ambience and history- worth coming in just for a peek.

Yelp
Had the brunch buffet on weekend afternoon and enjoyed it! The hostess was extremely nice when we walked in, and the workers serving the food were also nice. It was a busy time, as most the tables were full and the lines for food were long, but well worth the 5-10min wait. Our waitress was nice and funny. The buffet has so many options, but our favorites were the ribs, which were sweet, flavorful, tender, and fell off the bone. The duck was good, as was the rice and beans, sweet potatoes, grits, and dessert. They were running low on a few dessert so we had to wait for them to restock. They also had an omelette and eggs benedict line. The salad bar had great options, and there were biscuits and cornbread too. There was a live band playing inside, and the tables had white cloths. The floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings allowed for a lot of natural light that elevated ghe experience. The areas were very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean; women's had 2 stalls and a small mirror in the hallway. Overall, a great place to have jazz brunch and listen to live music. It is pretty pricey though, and they tack on an automatic gratuity fee.

Yelp
I love this place! The last two visits to New Orleans included a visit to The Court of Two Sisters. Reservations are pretty tough to get here so highly recommend trying to snag one before you make the trek. You may get lucky and catch one the day of but be prepared there are no guarantees. Service has been friendly both visits and the buffet spread has been wonderful. They offer a pretty large variety of eats from an omelet/egg Benedict station to all the must have traditional New Orleans and all the must have yummy creole and cajun cuisine like gumbo, jambalaya, rice & beans, shrimp etouffee, turtle soup, and more like the salad bar, some lunch dishes, and an assortment of desserts. I highly recommend the buffet if you like a variety of goodies on to choose from. You can also come for dinner. No dinner buffet but you can order off the menu. The menu looks tasty. Need to check out the dinner service during my next visit. They have a lovely outdoor courtyard seating available as well as interior seating. You can catch the live jazz band playing if you're inside during the brunch buffet timeframe. Makes a whole vibe of an experience! This is a great spot to come on a date, with a few of your girlfriends, or a special occasion. Definitely tough to come with a big group in my opinion. Definitely a must visit spot when you're in New Orleans! Service is great which I appreciate so much.

Yelp
I came to The Court of Two Sisters with very high expectations. Other reviews have been superb online and I expected to feel the same after eating here. This was my first food stop in New Orleans and oddly I didn't feel amazed after my meal. The array of options were wonderful, please don't get me wrong. It's definitely a great way to sample all of the city's most popular cuisines in one place. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing either. My favorites were the eggs Benedict, chicken salad and pecan pie. Staff was friendly and the court itself was beautiful! To be a "jazz brunch" it definitely needed a bit more jazz. The musician only played a few spots of music and that was it. I felt a bit let down honestly but beautiful place.

Yelp
We had dinner here tonight. First of all, the service was great. I have nothing but great things to say about the employees, thus the 2 stars. Everyone was nice and courteous. The food, on the other hand, do not waste your time or money here. The location is nice but the food was terrible. The portions are small for the price. I spent $140 on food that tasted awful! $31 for a scoop of grits and a few shrimp in the exact same appalling sauce as the BBQ shrimp. The BBQ shrimp was not good. The seafood pasta was bland mac n cheese with a few shrimp sprinkled in. The bathrooms were clean.

Yelp
E X P E R I E N C E i made a reservation for 5, a few weeks ago for 130pm. we came around 120pm and waited in the bar area until 130-135pm and then got a text saying they're ready to seat us. we went up the hostess stand; they immediately walked us to our seat and sat us. D R I N K S are at an additional cost. not included in the buffet price. bayou bash: southern comfort, orange cherry and pineapple juice, grenadine, sweet and sour mix, splash of red wine ghostbuster: chilled peach schnapps, midori lemon liquor, bailey's irish cream pineapple mint mojito mocktail: virgin mojito, with sugar sub and pineapple juice for flavor black cat: dark creme cacao, kahlua, amaretto coke and malibu rum drinks are light but tasty. beware the black cat is very very sugary sweet. B U F F E T ample selections. some pieces are drier than others. most were flavorful. our favorites were the ribeye roast, ribeye ribs, mashed potatoes, omelet. choc cake, pecan pie and red velvet was amazing. so good especially considering a buffet. it's smooth, flavorful and moist. overall the food here is tasty. there are definitely options that are better than others but definitely enough for you to like and make you full. we all went back for thirds and fourths. S E R V I C E fantastic. attentive. helpful. quick to check up on us. so friendly. Trenika was the bomb.com. she was quick to help us move the umbrella as well bc the sun was moving and she was so quick to do so. jerry was also fantastic to clean up our table. he's friendly. E N T E R T A I N M E N T phenomenal. great pep and relaxing feeling. happy atmosphere. sweet and elegant. id definitely come back even just for this. al bernard big three were so professional. you can feel their passion and their expertise, truly. very jazzy. the bass player was such a gentleman and came over to interact with us, which was extremely kind of him. he even played a song we requested. we did tip them for their amazing musicality. Yelp
Based on the reviews, we were really excited to eat here. Overall, it was pretty underwhelming. The food was okay (jambalaya was good, everything else was pretty standard, mediocre buffet food). The courtyard ambiance is nice. The jazz trio was sleepy. The saving factor for our experience was Jerry, our server. He was great, we really appreciated his hospitality and personality. We probably won't go back but it wasn't a bad experience.

Yelp
Went for Jazz Brunch yesterday. Ambiance was great, band was great, waiter was great, food was great. However, the folks who worked there other than the wait staff were rude to say the least. Gentleman making omelets told a customer (the customer had a question) - can't you read the sign and never answered the question. We were seated outside and it started sprinkling and one of the bus boys walked by and said in a not nice manner, "yeah it's raining, time for ya'll to leave." Realize folks can get tired of tourists but hey, it's the business. Checked off the tourist list but don't think I would go back, you sort of don't feel welcome.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful location on Royal Street. The buffet was amazing and the staff were absolutely incredible. Obviously food is everything when you go to New Orleans, but there's not enough said about how amazing the people who live there are. I met an amazing lady, Chante, who was so kind and went above and beyond. I'll never forget her! The food was incredible and the courtyard was absolutely beautiful. The staff were all very kind considering how busy they were. Will definitely be back when I visit again.

Yelp
Made reservations for their jazz brunch, and we were able to be sat outside which was so pleasant. Their courtyard is absolutely beautiful, highly recommend being seated there. It's a buffet, so expect a bit of the line, but it was nice to not have to wait on service staff. I really enjoyed the apple cider mimosa as well. Food was okay, some things better than others. Eggs benny was probably the biggest disappointment to be honest, over hard and the english muffin was a bit stale. I wouldn't rate any of the food 5 stars, but it's nice to a get a taste of everything. The wait staff was so kind and personable, they made our early afternoon nice.
