The Cove Restaurant and Lounge

Had an amazing night with my girls. Service wasn’t fantastic but I mean it’s a “bar.” Other than that, people were so nice and same with the service which is why I didn’t mind. Thank you guys :)

Ordered a Mango Smoothie. Wonderful blend of mango puree, coconut rum and a little pineapple juice. The bartender, Caleb, was super friendly, helpful and great for a drink recommendation. Dan is also great. He switched the biggest TV to show the Mariner's for my Mom and her sister. (Good team of guys.) I went 4-6pm on a Friday evening. Also ordered: Huckleberry cocktail, Chicken Ceasar Salad, Cheeseburger, wings and French Dip. All fantastic!

The first 2 times we went here the food & drinks were so-so and service as well. The 3-5th time there was a guy and his wife there and the food&drinks were amazing and service was on point. The 6th and 7th time we went those 2 people were not there and food&drinks were still good but service was lacking. We went Sunday and food&drinks had gone downhill again along with the service. We weren't ready to order yet so the server said no problem I will be back. And as they were walking away oh i didn't see them come in to a couple that was sitting across the room at a table. This is what I mean service is lacking they are too busy chit chatting to each other then focusing on customers. The drink i got was way to sour and tasted off, food was okay but my husband's tater tots were cold and service again was lacking. The server never came over at all to ask how things were tasting. I got the worst heartburn from the food and drinks that night and yesterday to today feel off. Maybe this place needs to bring back the guy and his wife because everything was on point. Will not be going back.

Fun place. Dan (bartender) is very witty and has great food recommendations. I recommend (like he did) the broccoli appetizer with meat added (carne asada) which turns it into a full meal easily. Great people, great food (best in the area IMO), good drinks, easy going atmosphere, and good music. They do trivia on a certain day of the week but I don't recall when. You should go!

I have been coming to the cove for years and have told so many people about this place! The staff is SO friendly and sweet. The food is INCREDIBLE. I cannot order a French dip anywhere else. Seriously, theirs is simply the BEST. And their drinks are YUMMY. I LOVE THE COVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also shoutout CALEB <3

Watched the hawks beat the rams here for conference title and the energy was amazing! Service is fast even with a full restaurant. The food and drinks were all decent except for the seared broccoli, which in hindsight should have been an obvious thing to avoid at a bar...

The team at Cove Restaurant was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. To be honest, I wasn't expecting the food to be this good, but it was absolutely delicious and far exceeded my expectations. We'll be honestly coming back again soon!

Overall experience is not great!! I happy with the service provided. But I am not at all happy with food and products they used for cleaning tables!! Initially when they cleaned tables the liquid they used have a strong bleach smell which stayed for so much time!! After that, I spilled water by mistakenly and they helped us cleaning the table with a white cloth!! But the smell of cloth is not at all good!! So that smell added up to the table!! So we changed our table and sat in a different place!! Drinks: Both of the drinks are good!! Food: I liked only broccoli vegetarian dish other than that everything is not good !! We ordered panini chicken, fish and fries, black bean veggie burger, chicken quesadilla: not good!! Fish is almost burnt, and others doesn’t taste good !! My overall experience is ok!! One good thing it’s a late night open restaurant and bar!

Simple local bar and restaurant and everyone was so nice! Even during trivia night when we went! The service was quick and the food was so good! We were surprised of the Fettuccine and how rich and flavorful it was! And the steak in the salad was so tender and was delicious! Great portions also! Will be coming back for the good food and great service!

Love this place. Sports are always on. They show the ufc. Happy hour is great and the food is really good for bar food. One of our favorite local spots on the area.

We drive by the business park where the Cove is located all the time but have never stopped in until this morning. They were serving a brunch menu until noon on weekends and my hubs got the chicken fried steak and I had the classic breakfast. Both were delicious! Gravy was outstanding and Bloody Mary was on point. Great service and atmosphere. We will be back for their lunch/dinner in the future.

The food is good. But it's overpriced. $48 bucks for 8 wings, tots, soda and tax and tip is high. First they charge for refills on soda. Nobody does that. Next a side of tots is 10 bucks. Then they charge 50 cents for a dipping sauce. Plus another 50 cents for dipping sauce for the wings. There are many cheaper options with good food.

First meal ever in washington as my girlfriend and I just moved here. Customer service was awesome. All servers checked on us regularly. All had smiles on their faces. Ambiance was good. Music was good. We have to come back for karaoke night. Drinks were great and fair priced. We recommend the watermelon lemon drops. The food was amazing! Mac&Cheese was by far the best we've ever had. The Cove burger was cooked just right. The bacon was super crispy which is a plus. Garlic fries didn't have much garlic. The ranch could easily be compared to wingstop ranch which is easily the best ranch out there! The standard is set very high for our future visits at other spots in the area. We will for sure be back!

Drink service could be quicker, but decent menu and drinks are good. Tater tots were perfectly crisp without being too crunchy!

The food was so freakin good and the live band was awesome. The overall atmosphere was great. Friendly service, definitely a place you can take your family or just hang out with friends. Wish I lived closer! I would be here all the time. Definitely on my list to visit again

I ate dinner there with a friend on Wednesday, February 20th and ordered the cuban panini and I got food poisoning and violently threw up for 7 hours. I called the restaurant and they said they were sorry to hear about it. I have eaten there twice before with no problems but I will never go back and I don't think I can ever eat a cubano sandwich again. Sandi

The best macaroni and cheese I've ever had, delicious chicken and waffles, and of course the drinks are very nice. I'm always happy to come here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It was absolutely amazing having your toes in the sand in big adirondack chairs with the wind blowing your hair. The place itself is elevated but not pretentious and the staff is very accommodating and polite. This is a must stop every time.

This is my 2nd post for the Cove. Great food and tonight they had Seahawks party and after karaoke, which was fun! Service is always great with a smile.

The food is not special. Lots of frozen stuff deep fried or reheated. Staff do not keep clean hands and lick their fingers etc. dirty floors and the owner is hateful.

I love this place! I love the staff, super friendly! My girl loves the mussels!! We like eggs Benedict for brunch with mimosas Tasty French dip, can't go wrong with their burgers :) nice size menu

I miss the good old days, pre COVID-19, when one had lots of options of places to dine at late night. We tried 3 places prior to arriving at The Cove Restaurant and Lounge. The restaurant was quite empty and they were prepping to close for the night. I must say that I was impressed on how large the restaurant/bar was. They seated us and we were told that we can only order stuff from the fryer. We went there for the Country Fried Steak but apparently that wasn't an option. Too bad though as we really wanted Country Fried Steak. We took a look at their menu and ordered Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños and their Scotch Egg. Nothing else struck our interest. It took awhile for the food to come out but we were enjoying a beer while waiting. The restaurant was a little chilly so the alcohol definitely helped. When the food did come out, we dug in. It tasted like how you would expect and did the trick of putting some food in our stomachs. Customer service was friendly and we appreciated the staff taking us as their last customers for the night. I definitely think this is a great spot to catch some games though. Nice late night find in Lynnwood.

The Cove is so special! Great little bar tucked away, with yummy food! Seriously, can't go wrong with many of their food options! Awesome wait staff and great tasting cocktails. The Cove rocks!

Went for the drag show! It's a small place but has a great atmosphere. I didn't eat but my girlfriend loved the salad. Service was great, didn't get in the way of the entertainment but didn't feel ignored either.

The cove is one of those places where I feel welcomed even when it was my first time there. I hate when I go to a bar and it's like everyone is staring at you and you just don't fit in. They're friendly, fast, energetic and fun! They have taco Tuesdays, trivia, karaoke, and other fun events. The drinks are consistently good. I haven't tried much of their food but I can tell you that the stuffed jalapeños are AMAZING. They put this spicy cheese sauce in the middle of them and then wrap them in bacon. Their tacos are our if this world! I recommend coming on a taco Tuesday forsure ! One of their bartenders also has an amazing voice and killed it with karaoke!!! I will continue to spread the word about this place and I really wish more people knew about it so the trivia nights could be a bit more poppin!

Update, we took a chance and went in. All servers were masked up. Thank you! We have been coming here for quite some time! I will say the food is amazing. HOWEVER, I am a healthcare worker and I am highly disappointed that the majority staff has decided to no longer follow mandates. Not do they require customers to wear them through the front door or as they move about from their table to other areas. At this point we will not return to this establishment. Nor will we recommend them to our friends, clients, and patients as we have in the past.

One of our favorite places to go! Fun events, great food, and friendly service. Must visit!!!

Good food except I have one recommendation on the burgers. Make em one size smaller. 1 half to third or whatever it is. They're all little to big to get into the mouth. Leave em marinated and awesome. Thanks

Mark and co do a great job for Saturday and Sunday breakfasts. I've had several of their food choices and keep coming back.

Great place to watch a football or a baseball game. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I've been here for a taco Tuesday, a happy hour, and now breakfast. The food is always really good.

First time in and the thing we immediately liked was that it seems to be an adult-only establishment (no booths/kids/etc.) Our first waitress visited our table to take our order, and to bring the garlic bread (after our meals already arrived), but otherwise we were tended to by another waitress who was friendly, efficient and attentive. The drinks were good, and the watermelon isn't overpowering in the lemon drop. The garlic cheese bread was pretty average, and the two tacos left quite a bit to be desired (shells were stale, bland flavor of the tacos with not much meat, very spicy salsa, small portion for price.) The Kim Jong-Un cheesesteak was very flavorful (and spicy) and I appreciated the fact that they switched the meat to the black bean patty. Unfortunately the salad had quite a few wilted/slimy greens, but otherwise it would have been a good salad. Several things on the menu sound good, so we'll be back to give those a try (and definitely for another cheesesteak sandwich!)

Gave it 2 stars for the beer as far as the food don't bother chicken wings 12 for $18 were over cooked with hardly no meat and no sauce on them then they charge you .50 for sauce to dip them in should be included. I had there Happy hour salad $10, nothing to write home about pretty plain and also got charged for the dressing (.50). Over charged on HH beers should of been $4.75 got charged $5.75. This is the first and last time I'll ever go there. Beware...

Great food, potions were more then filling. Service was good, kept out glasses full and everyone enjoyed all we had, paninis and burgers. The only disappointment were The Cove fries We will be back

We came here maybe 2 weekends ago? We have never been so one of us called ahead and asked how busy breakfast on the weekend is, the lady on the phone said it just depends but she could put our name down for an outdoor table.. perfect! We came in and guy (owner?) was a reaaaaal... gem. We told him we had reservations and he laughed and said "here? I don't think so" and I said yep yep we sure do and we go back and forth for a sec. Anyways, he looks at his cute little notepad/book and realizes that someone DID indeed write this down and he says "I didn't look at the book" (not my problem) and then tells us "you don't have to stand inside to eat outside".. you could tell he doesn't handle being "wrong" in front of other people. Instead of just saying sorry about the misunderstanding, he was all hot and bothered. I have never seen someone act so childish about something so small.

Great food. Quick service and friendly staff. Love the Scotch Eggs and the on-tap ciders.

Good food and service. We were there near closing time and received good service. Only thing I would change is lowering the volume of the TV playing just a little bit. Otherwise, it's a solid place.

My husband and I have been in a couple of times and we were impressed both times. Drinks are good, servers are attentive and helpful and the food we have tried hasn't missed! French dip, Buffalo wings, pulled pork nachos, pulled pork tacos and their burgers are amazing. We recommend stopping in.

I highly recommend the California Burger. I order mine with chicken. It's excellent. Fries are good too. The Fully Monty also a great sandwich. Fish and Chips are also outstanding. I have been disappointed with the French Dip, however. Seemed like packaged sandwich meat. I appreciate their rotating selection of really good local beers and ESPECIALLY enjoy that they feature local lagers and pilsners and not just IPAs. The service is top notch and the place is all around inviting.

My go-to for Sunday morning NFL football games. They play every game you could want with multiple tv screens. They serve an amazing bloody mary. Breakfast menu is cheap but limited. I want to try their taco night. Service is always prompt and there's always a few spaces to sit.

One of my favorite places to stop by for a drink and late night food. The bartenders are great, and the wings are always a must try. I also recommend the scotch egg and poutine.

I think I'm going to have to come by post-COVID to get a better idea. One waitress did not cover her nose with her mask and the tables are definitely not spaced enough. We had to ask for waters for half our table and never were offered coffee refills. Also once we got our food we were completely forgotten about and when we grabbed the not covering nose waitress and requested box and checks she never returned with either. I'm hoping this is not typical and future visits will allow me to update this post-pandemic.

There's really nothing negative to say about The Cove. The Food: YUMMY with a Capital YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! This place has VERY good Pub Grub! I'm not a fry person but I believe I could just about live off of their fries, and the rest of the menu is delicious as well. My go to is the California Burger. Don't miss it, it's fantastic. I also love the Chicken Panini. Yummy! Drinks are good and priced friendly. If you're looking for a good place to watch sports with friends, this is definitely a good candidate, if you're just looking for food and drink it's a great place too. Also really nice staff.

Beautiful location and food is amazing. The only issue I have had when making reservations months in advance for window table for two special birthdays. The hostess's seem rude when you arrive and mention you have reservations for a window seat for four. They say they can't guarantee a table with view and make no attempt to try to fit you into one. Waitress's the last two times have been rude about ordering a $27.00 appetizer then getting a cup or bowl of chowder for smaller appetites. When my 81 year old mother ordered the seafood fondue appetizer and cup of chowder the waitress was like that's it no entree? Then brings her a bowl of chowder and my mom mentioned she had ordered a cup and was basically sneered at. They really push the drinks and higher priced dinner specials.

Decided to go out for food and drinks last night somewhere in Lynwood and ended up at The Cove. Surprisingly I came on a great night because there was live music being played from some great guys from Arizona. This place was pretty packed on a Friday night, with all TV's on with a half sports bar vibe and half a lounge vibe with every table full. I ended up ordering a Moscow Mule which was really good, and the BBQ Pork Nachos and Chicken Flatbread. The Nachos were pretty good, flatbread was average. This place is great for a group of friends to meet up on a Friday/Saturday night or I'm guessing it would be pretty fun to watch a Sunday football game. Drinks are good, food was like bar food. I could see myself coming back here if a group of friends want to come.

Wanted to have burgers very late in the evening and found this place is open. Ordered cove burger and chicken sandwich. Both of them comes with a side, fries by default. We selected one fry and one Caesar salad. When we went to pick up the food, it was not ready and felt like chef just came to know about the order. After a while got the food and went back home. But we found both of the sides are fries, didn't get the Caesar salad. It would be ok if the fries tasted good. All the fries tasted old and didn't taste good at all. Fries were soft, soft means when you microwave the fries, that kinda soft. My beef patty was also kinda cold in the middle. Not acceptable at all. Paid 36$ in total, but we were not satisfied at all. My expectation was high seeing good ratings, but they failed. Not going back may be.

Perfect little hole in the wall with one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Bring a bib and an empty stomach cause you're gonna need both.

Ordered a burger, jalapeño poppers and the pulled pork sliders. Almost all of it was inedible. The burger was completely raw.... like disgustingly raw. The pulled pork sliders were not marinated and very tasteless. The poppers were COATED in a thick layer of grease. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one. You're better off at Red Robin.

Love love the environment of this place it's vibes are on point. Employees Are always helpful and on point. Buttt my only gripe is the menu hasn't changed in a minute. Maybe recommend nightly specials or adding a nice steak or fish dinner! Steve please upgrade your menu 2022 new vibes!

Decided to go here Because we got recommended here by lots of friends. Checked out the menu seems decent enough for a pub! Figured I'd get something that was quick and easy because my work time frame. Simple and east chicken quesadilla right ? Why did it take 25 mins for such an easy meal? Maybe next time Taco Bell will be more fitting for time frame wise plus it'll be cheaper. Maybe will give it another go sometime later ‍. Also the bartender was super amazing so nothing against her.

This place is great! They have a very cheap happy hour with a huge variety of choices, including multiple different types of Fries. The chicken wings are the best around and their scotch egg is delicious. Excellent rotating beer selections too. Very stylish decorations and art. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too!
