"The Crack Shack is a famous fried chicken place in San Diego, and their first LA location is in the Century City mall. This mall seems to get busier every time we visit, so it’s not where we’d ideally like to spend time eating a fried chicken sandwich, but we will say the ones here are pretty great, and they have a full bar. The classic Coop Deville is good, but we especially like the Firebird, with a just-spicy-enough fried thigh, crispy onions, pickles, and ranch sauce. Don’t try and keep things healthy-ish by skipping the fries either - they’re fried in duck and chicken fat here, which means they’re fantastic. And because this is Century City (office worker capital of the world) there’s a solid Happy Hour too." - Jess Basser Sanders

A fancy bar with jidori chicken. The breading on the chicken is as hard as a rock, so it's almost like biting into a cement. The all you can eat sauce bar was okay, but there was no single sauce that really stood out. I liked the big screen TV, but it was split in four. I liked the paper towel on the table, but the quality of the paper was cheap. I thought the prices were pretty steep. Miso healthy portions were tiny. The spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy enough. Chicken oyster was interesting, but it's too oily. G bird sandwich was good but the chicken was a bit bland. I don't know if I want to go back considering that I don't drink, and the chicken sandwich was not as good and affordable as Chick-fil-A.

Stopped by The Crack Shack because some friends had good things to say. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries, deviled eggs and a beer and couldn't have been happier. The chicken was fresh and juicy and there was just the right amount of heat...just enough to make you sweat. The deviled eggs were fantastic and the fries were solid. Nice to see local brews on tap as well!

Some of the best chicken I've had since I been in LA! Order the 5 piece chicken and mini biscuits. I could not eat it all! My wife ordered the Bae sandwich followed by the Cookie Monster Shake. Let me tell you everything was delicious. That shake was phenomenal! Great atmosphere and bar. Definitely give this spot a shot!

Update 12.15.19: The service is always great here. I have to give a s/o to Phil at the bar, excellent customer service. Thank you! If you like fried chicken this is great spot to come to. Located at the Westfield Century City mall they have Fried Chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, bowls, champagne and sides. There is a full bar area and a Moët vending machine inside. Service was great and I'll be back.

I ordered the firebird sandwich and it was delicious! The chicken itself was nicely crisp on the outside and tender in the inside with great spices. The restaurant also provides a ton of dipping sauces for your food. I tried all of them and my favorite one turned out to be the sweet heat. If you’re ever shopping in Century City Mall.. I would recommend trying The Crack Shack.

Stars based on gluten free. Yes, I know going to a fried chicken place when you're gluten free is downright dumb, 😂 but the website says there are plenty of gluten free options and I like a challenge. Cashier seemed pretty clueless when I asked about gluten free options, so I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich without the bun and an order of fries. Only shake options contained gluten (cookies N cream and cheesecake). Really nice guy came to the table and made sure I was aware of cross contamination in the kitchen due to it being a, helloooo, fried chicken joint. 🐔 They're grilled chicken ain't half bad. Friend loved their fried chicken and ordered extra to go. Their fries are awesome. Was probably gluten poisoned but I was in a mood and mad I couldn't eat fried chicken so it was worth it. Edited to add: So appreciative of the response. I didn't feel gluten poisoned after I left, so all was good. 😂 Will definitely be back.

This place e just opened. I decided to try it and didn't know I was stepping Into heaven. This place is truly divine. I've never been more impressed with a chicken restaurant chain and chicken is my favorite food. This place puts chick fil a in the dirt. Still love chic fil a though. I decided to get the Firebird. A spicy chicken sandwich with pickles and slaw. It wasn't very hot but it was delicious. The chicken was chick and juicy. The breading was so good I thought it could only be made at home. I really enjoyed this sandwich. The setting was really nice and open. They had a sauce fountain with 6 sauces to try. Although there are no seats cushions this place is still a great place to sit and eat. It is a restaurant not just a bar .Or hybrid. And it was a great setting for a date or friends. The owners did a great job, but here's the problem. It's not big enough to sway my 5 star review, but.... The French fries. They came soft. Crispy for a lot of people but for my taste not nearly enough. Fresh but hot crispy. This place was still heaven tho. Loved the food and the environment.

I LIKE THIS PLACE! For sure, Westfield Century City is super nice and fancy, but this Fried Chicken Place is really a Golden found! The big chicken/rooster prop is the first thing you see in the restaurant and that’s very fun already. They have a relatively big menu for a fried chicken place. I ordered the 5-piece fried chicken—-very juicy:) Def a must! Also, the stylish bar is cool, with all the chicken head sport-men photos. Highly recommended!
