What a fabulous dining experience. The food was so very scrumptious and delicious. The atmosphere of the dining room was lovely, however it was a little crowded and therefore very noisy. I think there were a few too many tables in the dining area. The food was fabulous, so very scrumptious and delicious. The food was beautifully presented. The service was average and I think that may have been because of how very busy it was and how many patrons there were dining.

Every part of Crafers Motel is amazing. Beautifully decorated and styles. We were in the heritage suite; gas fireplace. Beautiful chandelier, controls for everything next to the bed. Bathroom is spacious and styled well. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Easy to get to all the amazing places in the adeliade Hills as it's right by the freeway and you wouldn't even know when you're inside.

Never disappoints! Be it a lunch, dinner, special occasion, or simply a glass of superlative wine be the fire. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming. The menu is varied and interesting, from pub favourites to Chefs enticing dishes, all with added flair and quality. Service is professional, friendly and always attentive. If you enjoy your wine then you are in for a treat. Allow yourself some time to enjoy the Wine Room and be guided on a journey be the resident Sommelier, Seth. The Crafers Hotel is not just a destination - its an experience to relax and enjoy. Thank you to Jo and the whole team for looking after us and making our day memorable as always.

Only went to the restaurant this time. Very impressive. A great range of pub tucker and others, plenty of food and helpful staff despite it being very busy. Well worth checking out.

Everything about our 3-day stay was beyond amazing.||Let's start with the greeting from Jo...we felt like we were important, Jo greeted us like old friends and gave us the tour of the hotel (jaw-dropping) and ended with showing us our room. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! the balcony, the Tim tams in the fridge, the bathroom, just all stunning, not to forget a gas fireplace in our room! Nothing during our stay was a problem, we ate in the restaurant 2 of of the 3 nights there and the meals were incredible. Then there was Jess, our waitress for both nights...what an asset to the establishment this young lady is. Polite, on point, and beautiful energy to be in the presence of. Jess made our dinners an even more enjoyable experience, along with all her colleagues including the lovely bearded fellow that I cannot recall his name. The housekeeping team, now that's the icing on the cake....our room was pristine, they were so polite, so humble....we felt looked after and cared for like we were family staying in the hotel. I also was given a private tour of the extensive and incredible wine cellar...the owners own collection and it blew my mind. The last thing is the use of the quality products such as Sheridan Towels and linen, top notch pillows, a beautiful bath which I popped some locally sourced bath salts in to have a little relaxation spa session of my own whilst the hubbard sampled the local beers at the bar! We cannot recommend this hotel with enough stars and would even go as far as saying if you're staying in Adelaide, don't bother with accommodation down the hill, just stay at the Crafers Hotel and use it as your base. We explored Mt Lofty (what a hike), Hahndorf, Macclesfield, Longview Vineyard and Day Spa, Victor Harbor, Encounter Bay, Stirling, and even did the Adelaide Oval Roof Walk all in the 3 days of our stay. Even the lady who checked us out at 7:30am was so accomodating and lovely. ||Thank you Crafers Hotel....bringing back old school courtesy, kindness and sense of family to your hotel guests. ||We will be back||Thank you from the bottom of our hearts||Michelle & Glenn Fitzgerald

We loved our one-night stay at the Crafers Hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower with Aesop products felt like such a treat. The fireplace in the room made it feel cozy and special, and it was so nice to have coffee and fresh croissants available in the kitchenette. Everything was thoughtful, stylish, and relaxing - a perfect base to enjoy the Adelaide Hills. Highly recommend!

visited last week for a casual meal and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a classic chicken schnitzel paired with a beer — nothing extravagant, yet perfectly executed. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection, complemented by a fresh and vibrant side salad featuring cucumber, radish, and pickled apple. Every element was well-balanced, and I couldn’t find a single aspect to improve upon. The pricing was very reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality provided. I particularly recommend securing a table by the open fire on a winter evening — it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that elevates the dining experience. Overall, an exceptional visit. I would confidently rate it 9/10 and look forward to returning.

An amazing meal with even better service to match. The food was faultless, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service — especially from David. If he’s not already the restaurant manager, he absolutely should be. I’ve never had a waiter ask which hand I prefer to hold my drink with — such a small detail, but it shows incredible attentiveness. My water glass was never empty, and every detail was taken care of. David went above and beyond and genuinely deserves a promotion. He made the experience unforgettable. If I could give more than five stars for service, I would.
