On the Grid : The Craft Brasserie & Grille

"West Queen West may be home to the city's trendiest bars, but Liberty Village's growing population is not to be ignored. The Craft makes a serious statement with its industrial-loft-meets-sports-bar vibe, smart-casual clientele, and extensive menu. An astonishing 120 beers are on tap here (and that's not counting the seasonal guest taps), all stored lovingly at 4°C in what amounts to a giant fridge. If that sounds intimidating, grab a tasting flight. Don't be afraid to ask the staff for guidance—their knowledge of the menu is borderline encyclopedic. Wine, cocktails, whisky and coffee (courtesy of Jimmy's) are also available, as is a full dining menu (this is a restaurant, after all), but beer is clearly the star of the show." - NUFF

The Craft experience was great. Service was quick and consistent. They even allowed us to keep a menu to order more things, which is in contrast to many other establishments of the same ilk. Unfortunately I do not remember the server's name but she was great. Made sure our table never had empty glasses for those who were drinking beer but also was very deligent in ensuring everyone's dietary restrictions were adhered to. I had the hot wings, and fish tacos and they were both great! Others had jerk chicken wings and burgers. I look forward to going back and trying other items on their menu.

I came here for a date night and loved this place. We ordered the Souvlaki plate and a Poke Bowl. The portions were wonderful and the food quality was great. I was impressed with the souvlakis flavour as it tasted authentic. The mojitos we got were fabulous as well, I will be going back for date night

Went last night before an event and it was great! Service was fast and friendly, food was excellent and drinks were very good. Had the Ahi Tuna Poke bowl and a margarita, others had burgers, wings and chicken bites. Will be back for sure.

Came to eat here before a concert and were offered seating at the bar because it was busy and we didn’t have a reservation. Initial service took some time but once we placed our order, everything came really really fast! Everyone working at the bar was really friendly. We ordered a flight of beer (to share), fish tacos, and Cobb salad. Fish tacos size was small and could have come with a side or perhaps be listed as an appetizer. Cobb salad was decent and the flight of beers was tasty and priced great. The selection of beers and ciders is vast. I’d go back again!

It's was a classic Sunday brunch on the Craft's patio. It was so simple yet so delicious! Perfectly made with buttered multigrain toast, two strips of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and scrambled eggs (reasonably priced at $13.50 plus taxes). Paired it with a pinapple Mimosa (not shown), which was very refreshing. Brunch was a 10/10 gor me. 😋

Another hidden gem in liberty village. It’s easy to not notice during the daytime. Food was delish, service was good, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was very spacious inside.

Not a fan of the brisket poutine and the chicken club. The brisket poutine fries were overly salty and you had to really go digging for the brisket bits. Cheese was sparse on this poutine …which was both unexpected and undesired. You could build your next house with the sturdy brick that was the chicken club. That being said, the service was 5/5. Altogether a disappointing experience for the taste buds but on an aside I hope all the best for our lovely waitress tonight

We bumped into this place looking for brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were delicious, big portions and looked great too. Highly recommend this place. Probably one of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. I’ll be back.

Yelp
Yesterday I stopped by The Craft with a friend after we visited another venue in LV. It was fairly barren inside upon our arrival and although their patio was open (it was a relatively gorgeous day for early Spring) and a small no. of customers were on it, we chose to sit inside. My friend and I both decided to order flights, and our very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Server offered us the option of sampling tentative choices we were interested in prior to making our final decisions as to which beverages to order. Our Server informed us that fortunately the venue is now back up to offering their regular 120 beers on tap, therefore the option of sampling beforehand was all the more welcomed by us. We each chose 2 beers to sample (I chose Godspeed's Scotch Lager and Wilda Dry Hopped Honey Brew) and we even tried each other's samples; all of them were quite good. For my flight I chose 4 beers from their Rotating Taps: my Godspeed sample selection, Mascot's Cocoa Beware, Calabogie's Horizon NEIPA, and Flying Monkeys' Velvet Bubble Lord (Copy). All were outstanding and encompassed a very wide variety of flavours; in fact, I can't recall ordering a more enjoyable flight anywhere. My friend also ordered 2 of my choices and again we let each other try the other 2 beers we ordered. Considering the overall quality of my choices, I definitely consider it worth the price. This was undoubtedly by far my most enjoyable visit to The Craft so far, and I hope to make it back again - maybe on their patio for my 2nd time - later in the Spring and/or during the Summer.

Yelp
The food is pretty basic bar fare- majority of options are fries and quite heavy especially if you're looking for a veggie options beyond a salad. My bf got the chicken gyro plate and it had a lot of sides with it, the salad was mediocre as were the potatoes, I had the tofu tacos which were delicious but definitely gave me heartburn. We did end with the brownie which is a classic that we appreciated- it's nice to see a simple dessert on a menu as restaurants are often trying to elevate them these days with options that are not better. The patio is DOG friendly- and the service was lovely!

Yelp
The best poutine I've ever had! I had the FTF (From The Field) poutine, which is vegetarian and has roasted mushrooms, scallions, cheese curds, truffle white gravy, and fried Taro garnish. I've never had poutine before that wasn't drenched in gravy. This dish had the gravy mixed in subtly and was not the dominant ingredient. The presentation was lovely. The mushrooms were delicious and the dish was very well balanced. To drink, I had a non alcoholic cocktail. I loved the raspberry mojito. I love the fresh raspberries inside. It was a lovely evening to sit outside on the patio. We received excellent service too. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant!

Yelp
This place is interesting. I walked in and first thing I think of the place is that it is a bar. Well yes and no. It is a bar but it doesn't just have just bar food on the menu. It has some really interesting dishes. Well, I would say 80% of the items on the menu are not what you would find at a typical bar. So we got the following items to share Nachos Ssamjan Bussels Spout LA Kalbi Shortribs Hot Smoked Wings BBQ Smoked Wings Sweet Potato Fries For my entree, I got the Jimbaran Fish Curry I also got a few mocktail drinks to try: the ginger beer, raspberry mojito, and the hibiscus flavored lemonade. First off, all the drinks were very refreshing. My entree was very filling and it felt very heavy to the stomach. The cod was cooked very well. I have to say my entree was really the star of my dinner through my eyes. The rice soaked up all the greese from the cod fish was super yummy. I liked the appetizers (but they were nothing out of the ordinary) with the exception of the nachos. The nacho was too mushy and was my least favorite. The LA Kalbi Shortribs were a bit tasteless. Hot smoked wings, sweet potato fries and brussel spout were very average. Overall, food was quite tasty. The decor was not too bad. The restaurant is located in Liberty Village. I do recommend coming here if you have not been. I was told that their menu changes from time to time.

Yelp
My friend had a birthday party here recently and invited a large group for drop ins. They have a large back area that he was able to reserve without having to pay a big fee. I understand they put a hold on his credit card for $10/person if he didn't show up. But there was no requirement for a minimum spend, or a fixed price meal. We were able to get separate bills with ease and could move around and talk to people. I would highly recommend this place for big get togethers like this. The drinks were good, and the service was good. Of course there were times were it was a bit slower, but we were there on a Saturday night. No real complaints, our server was organized and friendly. After some drinks we were hungry and ordered the mac and cheese and burger. Both were delicious. I love mac and cheese, an this was a really good one. Nice texture, loved the scallions. I love anything with queso. The burger was really good too. Freshly made in house, no frozen patties. I don't usually come out to Liberty Village, but this would definitely be a spot I'd check out again. I want some more queso!

Yelp
Gord and I had supper this evening at The Craft Brasserie & Grille. There was lots going on in the area and the place was jammed so we sat at the bar. Gord ordered beer batter fish tacos. I ordered Mediterranean chicken. Both our meals were good and we'd get them again.

Yelp
April 23/2022: Dinner w Mark/Cara, Jason/Diane & the Al. Great experience at this restaurant. Our server "Jessica" was excellent. She was polite, funny & efficient! The place was busy but not crazy so. It was a very limited menu I found & only available online through a QR Code. I ordered the Greek salad that was served with a fantastic whipped feta cheese (that was amazing) & the Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. The server got everything right! Even thought to add extra Buffalo sauce! Very tasty. The only issue was the size of the food. Sandwich was small & the fries were very small. That's why the 4-star versus a 5-star. This is a definite do over.

Yelp
Great craft beer. Good food. Prefer the large square bar area to the restaurant part.

Yelp
As of now (Feb 15 2021) they are temporarily closed, but when the lockdowns were on in 2020 they pivoted with amazing $10 select meals for pickup. Seen in these photos was the chicken souvlaki with roasted potatoes and rice. Each day of the week was a different meal, highlighted on their instagram and it was a win-win. On their side, they only had to make a certain meal each day (although you could order other items off the menu) and on the customers sides you got an amazing deal! When this place was fully open, I was a huge fan as the massive taps selection covered all the unique tastes from large parties. The amount of craft beer is huge and I hope they reopen soon!

Yelp
The craft has really cute ambiance. I ordered a Chicken club sandwich with fries on the side, it was delicious!! It looks intensely Stacked, but it's a perfect portion and delicious!

Yelp
If I could give zeros stars I would. We were sat on the patio and two different waitresses came to the area and never acknowledged our table. Every other table in the patio area was served but ours. The restaurant was extremely empty but for the 5 small parties on the patio (including my table) so they weren't overwhelmed and I'm not sure how the oversight could have been anything but intentional. Even watching the other tables the service was extremely slow. Finally, the brunch menu is very limited with very few options. In closing, I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Yelp
The hostess is very condescending, incompetent and rude. Literally, what other task does a hostess have, except to welcome guests and seat them. This tiny evil girl did neither. Conversely, our server, Francois, was delightful. But the whole experience had been sullied by aforementioned hostess. Food was okay, and even though we sat in the back, it was really loud. Bathrooms were clean.

Yelp
Actually it was in mai, 2019 We came over there twice to watch the playoffs, it was completely booked but twice we got lucky Nice place to watch a game and laugh with your friends. The food is good and the drink too. Love the Moscow mule.

Yelp
Beef tacos and craft burger were good. Was not a fan of the chef's mixed dip (even had to ask for our pita to be reheated as it came to us completely cold). We waited over 30 minutes for our food on a Monday night at 6:30PM

Yelp
Nothing special about this place - maybe trying to be something its not. It relies on a big event, but without that it's really dead and lacks a vibe. The servers are all friendly, but the services takes so long, which I blame the managers/ supervisors for not scheduling properly not the individual server. The food is overpriced for what it is, but it tastes good. Just an okay spot.

Maddie B.

Yelp
Food is so good. Carla, glasses and a French accent, our "server" refused to serve us because we ordered at the bar and got moved to her table. She proceeded to be condescending and passive aggressive. making sure to let every other waitress know what happened. told us she wouldn't get us water until we told her how we shouldnt be refused service for the RESTAURANTS mistake. i'm guessing she wanted the tips? before she even served us i asked if we had to pay at the bar for the drinks and she rudely added "well they aren't free". Also never once made eye contact while passing us multiple times. pettiness in the work place is weird. Karmas comin for Carla

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch early dinner after a Toronto Wolfpack game. The place was busy but not packed thankfully. So we were able to get a table without too much waiting time. There were six of us. I got a burger & salad. Can't remember what everyone else got. I confess I'm writing this review about a month after we went. I remember one of my friends who is a vegetarian got a tofu sandwich which she liked but thought the tofu was really thick. The waitstaff were nice & attentive. We got our food pretty quickly. I thought the food quality was good & I left the restaurant with a satisfied belly. I thought the decor was fine. Your basic pub style decor. Dark wood, booths, dim lighting. It's also very convenient in location as it's just across from the Lamport Stadium. Great place to have food before or after the event.

Yelp
Came here as part of a group on a Friday night; the place can get pretty busy. Feels trendy. They quickly switched to the Raptor's game when it came on. The beer menu here is huge, like 4 pages. It would have been a bit better if the menu was better organized I think.. In any case, they have these pre-set flight options or you can make your own. Being indecisive I just choose one that samples the different types. All were quite good. For food, I got the Chipotle Lime Cauliflower starter, and the Pork Belly Rice Bowl. The cauliflower was alright, not too memorable. The Rice Bowl was very flavourful. Had lots of ingredients, but it got a little greasy eating it. Which maybe should be understandable with the pork belly but still. Service was great. Very friendly and helpful, especially when selecting the drinks.

Yelp
Very disappointing!! my husband and I were waiting at our table for an hour before anyone even took our order. when we got our food, it was not cooked properly. service is not good and all the staff members are visibly stressed and often yell. would not recommend and would not come back
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to go here when we had a big group looking for food in the liberty village area. They seated the 16 of us right near a projector to watch the raptors game, and our server was pretty nice. We we're served in a decent time for the amount of people in the restaurant, but they did delay 3/16 of our orders for about 10 minutes which was awkward. I ordered the Cashew Chicken Bowl ($16.50) which came with some bean sprouts, crispy chicken, soy sauce, rice, and sweet peppers. The highlight of the dish were the cashews which tasted really nice with the rice and beans. The chicken was a bit disappointing as it wasn't really crispy. More just soggy. I'm happy they were able to seat all of us, but we did get served at awkwardly spaced times. I would rather try something else in the area besides this place again. Was happy with the game seating and serving the lord.

Yelp
Came here for a holiday work party for the first time. Since it was a private event, I didn't have the option to choose whatever I wanted from the menu (as it was a fixed menu) but we definitely had a full bar service which I am definitely OK with, lol. there were a few appetizers going around that I tried and honestly I did not enjoy any of them with the exception of dessert. There was a very bland mac & cheese that was super dry, a tomato and cheese skewer (which I didn't mind), and probably one of the worst veggie slide burgers I've ever had. To drink I got a beer (I wish I remembered the name because I loved it) and a few mojitos. Although it was a lot of people, service was pretty decent. If one of the waiters saw me standing around, they always made sure to ask if I was served. The wait time for drinks I would say was probably up to 10 minutes (which I expected considering the amount of people present at the event). Overall this place definitely seems like a cool spot to lounge and have some drinks. I do hear lot of people at my work talking about The Craft so I think I would give it another try so I can fairly judge items off their regular menu.

Yelp
Update: after a second visit, can confirm that the beer continues to be excellent (great selection, clean tasting). Poutine is also good (although I would ask for extra gravy next time!). But don't bother with the kimchi tofu tacos - very one-dimensional and (somehow, despite containing kimchi) not very flavourful. Just a bit of heat and nothing else.

Yelp
If you are a fan of beer, you won't be disappointed by the plethora of choice. They have a book for you hoppers to choose from. It's quite an impressive tap sight. As a non-beer drinker, my focus then turns to the food. This place is a solid 3. Filling and definitely not boring. It definitely has some Filipino influences! I appreciated the lumpia spring rolls with its dipping sauce. A spicy version of banana ketchup which from our large table felt like the banana flavour was lost in the seasoning which was disappointing for first timers. The fried chicken sandwich was alright. Well seasoned, moist sandwich but I felt it lacked a good compliment to accessorize it. County general's version, is a hard example to beat. So, I would have to order something different. The white brownie with chai tea ice cream was okay but it really tasted more like yellow cake with vanilla ice cream which was what one person thought it was. It wasn't bad just fell flat on the expectations we had on the flavour and pastry itself. I definitely would return. It's promising and the space is comfortable.

Yelp
There is not much to recommend this place from the outside, but this semi-underground restaurant is deceptively spacious and is basically a vault of endless choices in beer. I'm not kidding, the food menu is one page... while the beer list is several pages in a booklet with small font. It takes a while to scan through but there are definitely a lot to choose from and you are bound to find something you like. The servers are very helpful if you need any help deciding between two choices or explaining a beer you've never seen/heard/thought existed before. I particularly like that you can order a flight of 4 beers from anywhere in the menu, and aren't restricted to one particular section. The food is a second thought for me at this place, cus beer is the main attraction here. Nevertheless, the food was pretty good also. I had the short ribs empanadas as a side to my beer, it was packed full off flavorful meat and the pastry was short but flaky at the same time. I will definitely be back in the near future to work my way through the beer selection.

Yelp

Yelp
This is a great place to hang out. Great selection of beers and the servers are amazing, our server's name was Erika. She knew her beers very well, she was quick to cater us with food and drinks. She was absolutely amazing. We ordered popcorn chicken with three sauces and sweet potato fries. Both were very good.

Yelp
Just tried this place for the first time. The food came out in a timely manner, hot and delicious. The fish tacos were filling and had the perfect ratio of ingredients. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Good place for a first date or watching the game with your friends. over 100 different beers to choose from and Chicken wings are 10/10

Yelp
Nice spot in Liberty Village with a decent patio. Was heading to the Local but decided to try something different. It wasn't super busy when we walked in and we got a nice seat on the patio. The server took awhile to take our drink and food orders and when I asked if instead of a 2oz Moscow Mule to just get a 1oz, the waitress said 2oz wasn't that strong and that if I wanted 1oz it would be the same price. I decided to just get a 2oz and it was strong and a bit much for a weekday evening low key drink. Food was mediocre and I thought pretty pricey for what we got. My friend loved his burger though - said it was really good. Service after that got a bit better but other than that my experience was ok.

Yelp
So I wanted to order the BBQ Miso Salmon, and I mentioned that I couldn't have heavy dairy such as coconut milk or butter. I asked for regular rice instead, and they came back later saying that their rice was PRE-MADE so they couldn't make the substitution. Honestly, even if it was tasty, for the price I'm paying and the vibe of the restaurant, I did not expect The Craft to be serving fast food. Furthermore, when I asked for a difference carb like bread instead, they gave me buttered bread. What part of dairy free did they miss? The wait staff were still very patient with me and incredibly courteous, but the mistakes coupled with their questionably (priced/designed) menu mark The Craft as a place I'll probably not come back to.

Yelp
Located in the Liberty Village. This can be a staple drinking place for the local residents. Their flying monkey drink was a blast, 10% alcohol, don't need to buy much to get high. The drink is quite filling as well. Good place to hang out if you live in the village.

Yelp
What a great spot tucked into Liberty Village! This huge semi below ground venue boasts what literally seemed like hundreds of different craft beers, romantic lighting, lots of televisions playing different sports channels and a delicious pub-like menu. To me the best part about The Craft was how big it was inside. There's a large bar section with booths & tables as well as an even larger dining section with massive booths for a more intimate experience. There is a patio up top for those looking to enjoy the views of south central downtown T.O. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't offer much of a review on pretty much the biggest aspect of this restaurant BUT I can tell you that their food is worth returning for. I ordered a Royale because I love Pulp Fiction accompanied with sweet potato fries and my date ordered a Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich with a caesar salad. The Royale (lettuce, pickle, american cheese, russian dressing) was mouth-watering and the sweet potato fries came with a spicy aoli that I couldn't get enough of. My date described his chicken sandwich as being fried perfectly and not too crunchy. The prices were expected of a restaurant of this genre & location (most items between $13-30). This would be a great place to bring a date or watch the game with friends. Check it out!

Yelp
This review is regarding drinks only at The Craft. I absolutely loved the huge selection of craft beer here - 120 of them on tap! There is a nice, chill patio facing a relatively quiet street in Liberty village. The prices for drinks here are really good, considering you can order a set of 4 tasters at 5 oz each for $11, and there is no limitations on what you can select! Would definitely come back here again for drinks.

Yelp
Cute spot in liberty village, and it's also huge. It's an excellent spot for a friendly gathering and for a few drinks or ten - seriously, their beer menu is huuuge and they support local breweries, so it's definitely a go from me. They have a huge variety of food on their menu from a tofu sandwich to a huge rack of ribs. One thing I don't understand though is why they upcharge $1 to change fries to a salad/soup - like, sweet potato fries or something more fancy, I get it.. but salad or soup? C'mon. I upgraded my fries to the soup of the day, cream of mushroom - which wasn't cream of mushroom at all. It was some chunky, brown soup that just stank of "I used too much mushroom in this" ..the texture was way too gritty and chunky AND it wasn't even hot, more like lukewarm. No bueno. The tofu sandwich I had was pretty legit though, with such a thick piece of tofu cut between some veggies and bread. Super filling for a vegetarian meal! Friends all had different meals and most of it was said to be "good, but can be better" or "I've had better" or "they used to be better" - don't get me wrong, the food all looked delectable. Definitely wouldn't mind eating here again. Service is really great too; the waitress messed up my change and cut me short $10 and when brought to her attention, she was super apologetic and friendly about it. This is definitely your neighbourhood friendly pub!

Yelp
We went to Craft for dinner about 2 months ago and really enjoyed it. We decided to go back for lunch today and we're really disappointed. At 2:00pm they were still only serving from their brunch menu. It's really small with very few options. Had we not have ordered drinks before looking at the menu, we would likely have left. We ordered 3 burgers and a chicken sandwich. It took over 45 minutes for our food to get to us. The burgers were really greasy and not very tasty. On a good note, our server was super helpful, friendly and attentive. It's hard to believe that after a really great meal there, we had such a poor one.

Yelp
Been here twice past few months . Both times, food either served fridge cold, burnt or just horrible taste. Will no longer visit this establishment.

Yelp
Food is 5/5 Service 5/5 ..thanks Erica! Beer options 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Server Erica was fantastic. The food seems to always have a little kick (heat, spice - although I'm loving it and really am getting accustomed to it) but I always ask for it on the side just in case and Erica made sure the order came out just right. I also asked for no cashews - and Lo-and behold...there weren't any! =] Little things like this go such a long way for me, as I can't tell you how many times I'll say "please no ____" (preference, not allergy) and I find it in my dish. This evening has the crispy chicken cashew bowl. Thought it was delicious and very filling. Boyfriend had the Buffalo Chicken Sliders (comes with 3) and he ended up ordering a 4th. Loved them!

Yelp
Came on a Friday night for the winterlicious menu. The service was great. Our server made sure to ask us how our food was, gave us our food on time and my friend requested her paella to be remade and they were happy to do so. On to the food. The food was what took the 2 stars away. I had the tomato salsa. It tasted nothing special, in fact it tasted like Torrito's sauce. Also and the seafood paella. The rice was a tad bit hard and I could tell it was just reheated as some parts of the bowl wasn't hot. The brownie fudge with vanilla ice cream was the best. But I felt that was something that's bought in bulk. Over all great service but the food could use a little more work. The decor is also very nice, they have a glass window which you can see all the beers that they offer.

Yelp
I have never attended a beer specialty restaurant before, but this place left a good impression. 6 of us came for 5pm on a Saturday, but did not have seating trouble. The place is pretty large since it's in a basement, it could house at least 10 more groups of our size, excluding the bar seating at the front. The range of available beers was overwhelming, but the staff were helpful in helping us decide when we asked. The highlight would be the the array of beverages and in tuned staff, while food was just average. The price is reasonable for everything though. Overall the ambience and structure of the place is welcoming, and I would come back for their drinks, but maybe not necessarily to eat. Note: This place is accessible by the King streetcar as well as being a minute walk from the 63 bus stop. However, the entrance may not be as accessible since it requires descending stairs after entering through a main door.

Yelp
Went here after a concert in a group of six the other night We were promptly seated, but promptly moved due to the waitress section we were seated in, wanting to close, so we were shifted right as we settled in, better communication with the host would have prevented this. Anyhow, yes there is a large selection of local beer which is a plus, the menu had a varied selection of food, so we took our menus and ordered food and drink. The service was timely, everything seemed to be going well, our drinks arrived and then our food. I had ordered the nachos, in which the description stated there was two types of cheese, I was served a plate of chips with sour cream and shredded lettuce on top, for something that was described with two types of cheese, there was nothing. I signalled our waitress Ceilagh over, and started to explain these nachos were basically cheese less, when she interrupted me and bluntly stated, yes I know there are no tomatoes, smiling I replied, picking up a handful of chips and letting drop loosely back onto my plate, the tomatoes were not the issue, the lack of cheese based upon the item description was the problem. Ceilagh barked at me, THERE IS NO NEED TO BE AGGRESSIVE, I was slightly bewildered and stated I didn't feel I was being aggressive, to which she YES YOU ARE, I CAN REPLACE THESE FOR YOU With her horrible attitude I didn't want a new plate of nachos. Ceilagh walked away, 3 others in my party who all were witness were even shocked, wondering what her problem was, and stating that in no manner was I aggressive. From here, I attempted to order a new drink, as it was about being with friends. And I was completely ignored. Trying to smooth over the situation, I apologized stating I was sorry if my actions came across aggressive, it was not my intention (to which once again the party I was with wondered why I was even apologizing), and my apology was completely blown off. My friends, seeing how my evening was being ruined by our waitress, suggested we move on, and enjoy ourselves elsewhere. I felt completely discriminated against here in this establishment, I'm a fair person and will usually give places a second chance, but I honestly don't feel this place is worth a second chance.

Yelp
The beer selection is 5 star. So many taps! I've never seen anything like it! Super busy on a TFC game night. If you didn't get there before 5pm, you weren't getting a seat. Many people in my group were standing at the bar. We switched around so people who were eating could sit. Service was a little hard to snag since it was so busy. CHECK IN ON THE YELP APP FOR A FREE APP! I got the Spring Rolls, but it was just mini sausages wrapped in wonton wrapper and deep fried. They were pretty bad. I would not order them again. I'd still come back for the beer and to try something else from their menu.

Yelp
This place really got its act together and every time I come back, the items it has to offer, improve. While the beer is still offering the same quality and variety (if you don't find a beer you like here, I'm not sure where else you can go), the food has been drastically improved: less items but much much better quality. So far there hasn't been any item I didn't like and that hasn't been prepared properly. Lots of them you can tell that are made here, so they are fresh and, as a consequence, delicious. My favourite? The daily soup and the burghers. Especially for this last item you are given multiple choice to make a combo for your meal: you can upgrade with either sweet potatoes or soup. And trust me, the way they make the fries here is, in my opinion, the best you can get in Toronto: crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside. And this is coming from someone who's not a big fan of fries. The service also got better and believe when I say that it was already good before. But here, they have managed to get this better too. As per the clientele, it has been always great here: friendly, not excessively loud, down to earth and not pretentious, snobbish or "have-to-show-off" kinda attitude that most likely you'll find in other places here in LV. So, if my start here hasn't been what I would define as a wonderful marriage, now I can surely be a happy returning customer. So, if you want to take my advice, if you're in the area, hop in for a quick bevvy and enjoy a bite. I'm sure you'll like it. ------------------------------------------------ After several months I've decided to come back to give this place another shot since my very first visit left me very disappointed. First thing I have noticed is that the Craft managed to build a patio; small but there's one and it's kinda cute. The place inside remained pretty much intact. I still like a lot the main area since it looks much like a proper pub while the side area/room still making me feel like I'm at Denny's more than a pub. Let's get to the real biz: THE SERVICE. The service has been tremendously improved: nicer (more genuine) and especially more attentive. THE FOOD. I have to admit that the food overall got improved: quality wise (I ordered the same items and it did taste better) and quantity wise (the menu now has fewer items which leads me to believe that they have paid more attention to quality and better cook items than before). I would still consider this place not a 4 or 5 stars but the effort put to get better can not go unnoticed and surely deserves a better rating from the one I originally assigned. If this is what ownership and management were able to put together, I'm looking forward to more improvement for me to bring this place to where I think it belongs: 4 stars. Not quite there yet. Almost. But I'm confident they will make it happen. Good job guys! So, it's hard for me to reverse my

Yelp
Best burgers in Liberty Village, of all the pubs/restaurants in the neighbourhood, this one is the best. Great selection of beers and all of the burgers on the menu are awesome. Cute little patio as well, one of our favourite places to go in Liberty.

Yelp
If you like craft beer and want a selection that will never bore you, this place is the spot to be! The Craft has dozens and dozens of great craft beers from as local to the neighbourhood to across North America. The atmosphere, like many of the restaurants/shops in Liberty Village is modern yet pays homage to the building's heritage. Service is quick, friendly and accurate. I've only had the food here once (assorted appetizers) but they were all well done and aesthetically presented. Overall, this restaurant is a great addition to the ever growing Liberty Village neighbourhood and I will be going back again soon.

Yelp
Came here with a friend because it's close to work. It's a nice place for drinks, the beer selection is top notch (soooooooo many choices). Happy hour special is 4$ for a couple of the cocktails and beers!!!!! (4-7pm). Food was good, the dressed fries were good, steak cooked perfectly, but the fries were underwhelming. Popcorn chicken was delicious (panko style crust), but quite a small portion (order two if you like popcorn chicken!!) Will definitely be coming back for happy hour!!! :D

Yelp
Great beer selection although I get sad sometimes when they run out of my favs. Stefany (not a typo) is a really nice server. Somewhat hipster free which is nice considering I can have a beer without having a beard tainting my pint. Food isn't bad either. Good vegetarians selections. Cheers!

Yelp
They set a table for 22 people at 12. It was empty. They did a great job. The drinks were good food was awesome. I tried the el Diablo and it was a little sour. The fries are great especially with the house sauce. Nachos are tasty, the salsa is a little sweet. The burgers smelt strong but tasted pretty standard. No complaints! Had a good time and they handled our group really well.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Love the beer tasting. 120 different beers on tap. Only con is the shareable meal I got wasn't that shareable. I got the Rib Tacos. There were just 3 medium size tacos - I think that's more of a 1 person meal.

Yelp
Waa there for a VIP Muskoka event which was amazinv. So this is strictly on the food..it was tasty but pretty well standard. Firecrackers fries and ribs. Cream cheese firecrackers just feel a bit well dated I'd love to see some more modern updated shareable plates as the space is beautiful. I will definitely give it another shot for the space alone.
