The Crawfish Pot & Oyster Bar

It was packed, not a big establishment. The wait was around 10 mins. Not to bad, ordered two pounds of crawfish. One with the house sauce mild 🔥. The other with medium house sauce. I loved the mild no spice at all. Tried fried oysters for the first time, they was actually really good. I wasn't expecting the turkey neck to come as a soup. The broth was good it had green onions in it. I should have known it wasn't what I expected when I was asked if I wanted rice with it. It was good I just wasn't use to it in that form. They only have pop and beer for drinks. Calvin was our server, he was amazing, very attentive and helpful while ordering. I'm definitely coming back for some more and to try other items on the menu.

Amazing service, great food - what a hidden gem! I had the pleasure of being waited on by Barbara, who was very nice, friendly, and attentive. She was able to answer all questions that I had about the menu with a smile and joy! I had my eye on the Fried Seafood Platter before I came in, but since fresh crawfish season was coming to a close and it was my first time in, Barbara brought me a sample of their boiled crawfish with their house sauce (which was so tasty!) and with their garlic butter. Since I had quite an appetite, I continue with the Dos Platter with Fried Catfish, Fried Shrimp, and sweet potato fries. All of this was outstanding! Even the shoestring onions rivaled those from steakhouses with how fresh, crisp, and flavorful they were. The catfish and shrimp were also very fresh tasting with a thin batter and cooked to perfection. Then for the last course, what could be better to round out the night than nice hot beignets? The beignets were tasty and very unique. Rather than being bread-y, they are almost a cross between a traditional beignets and a croissant. Crisp and slightly puffy on the outside, but flaky underneath very soft / tender. Great experience overall, and will definitely return when I am in town! Next time if crawfish are not in season, I might have to get some garlic noodles to go along with my fish and shrimp!!!

Great place! Delicious, seasoned and flavorful seafood. Amazing customer service from the time my crew and I walked into the front doors. I ordered the build your own seafood boil mild (w/ a lil' bite) in the house sauce. My seafood boil consisted of 2 clusters of snow crab legs, 1 lb of shrimp (heads on) sausage, egg, potatoes and corn. I also ordered a side of steamed white rice to eat w/ my boil and the "crab puff" aka crab rangoon appetizer that came w/ a delicious sweet/ sour spicy dipping sauce to share. Our CA Cameron ordered the boudin balls for him and myself along w/ our fellow crew member FA "Tan" to share. They both ordered the crawfish (they wanted fresh but the server informed us shortly after we were seated that only frozen crawfish was available due to delivery truck not showing up. Tan also got herself 1 crab cluster, some shrimp, mini corn on the cobb, red potatoes, 1 sausage link, and an egg through the build your own seafood boil choices. The crab legs were delicious and the sizes we were served was impressive and a pleasant surprise for all of us. Definitely recommend stopping by if your looking for some Cajun seasoned delicious seafood boil and other great menu choices. I look forward to the many more visits I'll be having here in HOU. The crawfish pot has been one of my favorite places to eat. If you are willing to wait a little bit, I definitely recommend eating here! The food is always delicious and the staff is supper friendly

cant go wrong with crawfish from here. the flavor and sauce is so thick and garlicy! make sure to choose house seasoning since its the mixture of all worlds. wish this place is bigger, always packed

They were quite rubbery, and I understand it’s not in season, but the quality really suffered. Compared to their previous supplier, even the frozen crawfish tasted much better. I really hope they consider switching back to the old supplier to improve the experience."

Found this place on Yelp and it wasnt crowded... yet. They have a good selection of cajun and seafood here. I love the different genres of music they played. My son ordered the chicken wings and a side of fries. I had a crawfish po'boy with onion strings but they also gave me fries as well. I ordered boudain balls and ended up getting full just from that so we took our food to go. The amount of crawfish they put on the po'boy had me using a fork! Awesome work! Staff are very nice.

The food is really good , crawfish are amazing but to pay $10 a pound for crawfish ..you guys gotta do better ..I get in the past seasons it was high Becuase of the shortage due to the weather ...let's not get greedy ...we can do better

Wings were absolutely disgusting. They had an unappetizing, rubbery texture that felt like chewing on old tires. Completely awful experience - I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs!

Shrimp was very hard to peal. The seasoning was great but they don't thaw out their food.

Let me just say tonight was one of the worst experiences ever here it wasn't the customer service because I ordered online to go but I'm disappointed because the crawfish were so tiny! Since the beginning of 2025 we've been here 4 times 5th made today and we've never had a small crawfish everrrr including the previous years!!! This is me and my kids go to spot and I'll bring my friend as well but it's clear that before I order next time I will have to call ahead to confirm the size of the crawfish that's available because I will never again in life try peeling any baby tails of a crawfish. I didn't even finish my 3lbs off because of the size of them. And I do mean ALL baby crawfish. I understand we recently had a winter storm but the size was unacceptable coming from my go to establishment.

First time I came here was before I had to go to the airport. I didn't expect much since I wanted some decent seafood. They are a good size restaurant with plenty of places to sit and eat. I decided to go with the trio platter and selected fried oysters, fried shrimp, and fried catfish. It came with onion strings and Cajun fries. I also tried crawfish from my family's plates. I don't usually eat a lot of fried seafood but these came out really well. I loved how the moisture was trapped inside of all 3. The batter was crispy and flavorsome. Those Cajun fries reminded me of Popeyes but freshly made. Onion strings were delicious. Service was okay. Prices were very reasonable for the generous portions.

Have been here several times this week, and they never disappoint. They had specials all week for their 10th birthday! Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. We had their raw oyster special, a $7/dozen & $0.50 wings. We also ordered crawfish and boiled shrimp with the house special sauce and it was delicious! They do get busy so prepare to wait a bit if you have a big party, it'll be worth it. Come show your support if you're in the area, can't wait to see what specials they'll have next.

Highly recommend! $16 for dozen oysters, they were the bomb. Didn't care abt the grilled oyster, its the skip for me. We ordered medium spice level on house sauce, it still had a kick to it. Wouldn't get hot spice level bc it was just salty. Fried rice was a surprise tho! Everyone loved it, even me( i never get fried rice... everrrr ) Staff was very pleasant , Barbara was our server. She made sure we were take care of. Decor was cosy too Will be back again

By far the best place to eat Crawfish and Shrimp! Can't go wrong with the House Special Sauce and your Michelada on the side.

I just flew into town and checked in to my hotel. I found The Crawfish Pot doing a search around Houston Hobby Airport. It was a 5 minute walk from Springhill Suites. This place is spot on. Local great Cajun flare with amazing staff. Sat at the bar and was greeted by Barbara. I had the gumbo for lunch and the house beer Crawford Bock. I recommend both. During my time there, Barbara asked if I ever had crawfish, being from Ohio I never had. Barbara asked if I wanted a sample and if I wanted a crash course how to eat them. It was so cool of her to do this. It was fun, messy (gloves provided), delicious and I am thankful for her spending a few moments to provide OUTSTANDING customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone! I would compare it to Cajun craven, I usually go there but they're closed on Wednesdays. I was not disappointed with crawfish pot and I will probably come back! 3 LBS of shrimp house special sauce, hot was enough to get the sinuses clear. For apps I got the crab puffs (crab ragoons) and they were good, try them out when you go! Service was friendly, it was my first time so I had lots of questions but the server knew her menu very well to help me order. Since I went on a Wednesday night I was seated right away, parking is easy, restrooms are clean.

My family and I went there on a Tuesday and EVERYTHING was awesome. The service was immaculate. I ordered oysters, crawfish and an Arnold Palmer. The flavor was very tasty and made to perfection. Everyone was pleased and I will be coming back very soon.

The food the we did get was ok, we did not get half of what we ordered due to our food being given to another table, we waited awhile longer so they could remake our food. The waitress brought us our bill and then said we could pay whenever we were ready, we pointed out we never got 2 of our plates, she apologized and said she never put another order in. We just paid for what we did get and left, maybe we went on a bad day but we will not be returning just due to service.

There's not too many cajun seafood joints in this town of Pasadena, but to find one open during a pandemic was somewhat exciting. When you pull-up in a parking space, an an employee will come out to take your order while you're in the car. Here's what we ordered: Fried Combo (shrimp, oysters, catfish) - Not bad, but I've had better. I like my fried seafood with a little more cornmeal batter. Turkey Neck - This is the first time I've ever had turkey necks "whole". For one, it does not look appealing to eat. Secondly, it lacks flavor. Boudin Balls - Best tasting item ordered. I liked the sauce it came with too. Again, we are facing a pandemic so there's a limited menu (No live crawfish when we came). Takeout service was average. Although employees don't seem very enthused. Sadly, I won't return because the food just didn't do it for me.
