"For a few weekends this summer I watched the patio outside Union Market (1309 Fifth Street NE) transform into an all-you-can-eat, steamed-to-order Chesapeake crab feast seating 50 guests at a time; each $50 ticket covers bottomless crustaceans, corn, and Maryland fried chicken spiced with crab seasoning. Guests can wash down the messy meal with a la carte crushes and mudslides, and non-crab pickers can substitute Lucky Buns burgers or fried chicken sandwiches. The nighttime pop-up (starting Friday, July 17) runs Fridays and Saturdays through August 1 with seatings at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., while Union Market is simultaneously hosting a cookout pop-up on its rooftop." - Tierney Plumb

The worst atmosphere and restaurant service we have ever encountered. We waited for 20/30 minutes and still did not receive any drinks. We placed our orders and waited 1 hour and 35 minutes, but nothing was brought to our table. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't even busy. So we decided to look for other restaurants. We stumbled upon an amazing place called Angie’s Seafood. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend you all to give it a try. The service, food, atmosphere, drinks, parking, and prices were all excellent and very reasonable.

I had the crazy crab bag with crab legs, shrimp, corn and potato. I loved it. Sauce was bomb especially the bmore blend. My crab legs was fresh and corn was amazing. My boyfriend had the fried lobster and shrimp. He loved the breading on the lobster def great seasoning. Worth the price. I will be ordering again.

You don’t get a lot of food for the price. Corn was hard and terrible and the crabs didn’t taste fresh, if that is something that you care about. The sauce was really good though.

EVERY TIME I PLACE ONLINE ORDER THROUGH GRUBHUB, THE ORDER GETS CANCELLED AND REFUNDED, STATING THAT THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY)..THE HOURS LISTED SAYS THAT CLOSING TIME IS 8PM. IF THAT IS NOT THE CASE THEN THE HOURS NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED. I HAVE ATTEMPTED 2 DAYS IN A ROW, BECAUSE SOMEONE ENCOURAGED ME TO TRY THE FOOD, BUT JUST BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE, I WILL PASS.
