My friends and I visited here for the first time two days ago, as we were eager to try it out after seeing the reels on instagram. Needless to say we were all fairly disappointed with our meals.
If I am going to spend around $15-16 dollars for an entree, I expect the quality of the food to match to an extent. I ordered the Fire Chicken Ramen, and at first glance I could tell that nothing was made in house. The noodles themselves looked and tasted like cheap instant ramen and were very dry/undercooked in some parts. The cheese that was sprinkled on top wasn't even melted and was definitely grocery store grade. The side “salad” that was part of the meal tasted unwashed. Usually ramen is served with a marinated, jammy, soft boiled egg on the side. Instead, the egg I received was bland and cold enough to make my teeth sensitive. It was as if the hard boiled egg was sitting in the fridge long before it was brought out with my food. The chicken that complimented the ramen was decent and spiced well, but not enough to save the entire dish. My friends had ordered the carbonara with katsu and tempura options and noted that flavor wise it was very bland. I can’t speak for the drink/ and dessert items, but I feel that eating this meal didn’t make me curious to try them.
Even though the establishment itself provides a welcoming, fresh and modern atmosphere, I can’t say the same for the entrees and the “authenticity” that they claim to advertise.
