The crepes are amazing!! Some reviews complain about the price, but they are made fresh with quality ingredients and are HUGE, plus you're in Aspen/Snowmass, so what do you expect?! The service was very friendly and fast. They have a very large selection of savory and sweet varieties. I can't wait to go back to try something different! We had the red velvet and millennial, and both were fantastic. No seating inside, but there are outdoor tables and wifi. Highly recommend this spot.

stood in store for 5 minutes trying to read menu, could not find the price of the crepe's. could not understand employee's as they were speaking to quickly, all while i'm rushed to make an order. if you have a disability this is the type of service you can expect, while also being berated by owner if you bring up your opinion.

Great place to grab a bite after a tiring day of skiing or snowboarding up the Elk base! Their location is very ideal. We were so tired after a day long skiing and rejuvenated by their crepes! We ordered Mediterranean and Black forest cake crepes. Service is really good and they have nice tables to sit outside. Highly recommend!!

The Crepe Shack is a great place to grab breakfast if you're staying in Snowmass Village. We absolutely loved the breakfast crepes. I also got a dessert crepe for later in the day that my son loved. I'd highly recommend it here if you are staying in the Snowmass Village area and are looking for a tasty, quick bite to eat.

Delicious quick lunch! We enjoyed sweet crepes so we ordered some with berries and whipped cream. So good 👍 The service was fast and we enjoyed the crepes very much.

The Crepe Shack offers a huge variety of crepes, from breakfast crepes with eggs and bacon, to savory crepes, sweet crepes (banana Nutella is classic and the apple strudel is excellent too) and even sine very high end gourmet crepes. If you can think of it, they can make it. Prices generally run $8-12 but for handmade crepes next to the slopes, you can't beat it.

Horrible service. The menu clearly mentioned plant based yogurt and I double confirmed with the staff that it is. When my son had it he got hives since he’s allergic to dairy. I asked them to show me the yogurt they used, it was dairy based yogplait one. When I questions them about this, the guy said he doesn’t know anything and his owner only ordered and said sorry that didn’t even sound genuine. Would not go back. Be safe and avoid this place if you have food restrictions!

We got the Bison Burger, Alaskan, & Boulder crepes -- all very filling! The Alaskan & Boulder crepes were superb, but the bison in the Bison Burger was a bit dry. With no line, it took about 5 minutes from ordering to receiving our crepes. Menu does not disclose the prices, only showing the $9 to get upgraded batter (a little miss leading on prices at a glance). *No seating outside *GF options *Nut-free pesto

Came here completely starved after hiking near Maroon bells. Was glad that they have 2 vegetarian options. I got the avocado spinach crepe and my partner got a salmon based crepe. Service was very quick and food was delicious . Food was a little overpriced for the portion sizes but so is everything in Aspen.

Crepes are always a hit or miss thing for me. If I can sit down and be served a freshly made crepe with butter, sugar, strawberries, and a ton of whipped cream like I used to do at the Grove in LA, then that can be a little bit of heaven. Santa Monica's Millet Crepes has this addictively good crepe filled with custard, strawberries, and topped with a torched creme brulee filling that makes me cry about moving away from SoCal. Still, I have hope in my heart that I'll find an amazing crepe anywhere I go, and this wasn't that. I ordered the Parisienne, a crepe with ham and cheese and it was fine, but I won't be remembering that at all. What I will remember is the hot cocoa. They must make it with Abuelita's because it was thick and had just a tinge of mexican spice in the cocoa. If I come back, I'll have to try the sweet crepes to see how they do with that because the one savory crepe I got made me kinda regret my decision.

Hands down one of my favorite foods I had in Aspen, which is a huge compliment given all the amazing food in the area. It's a grab and go crepe shop right in the Aspen base village - lots of sweet and savory options, as well as breakfast crepes. We tried the Californian crepe, which had so many delicious fillings (avocado, turkey, bacon, truffle oil) but the standout was the Gruyère cheese. Highly recommend for a quick bite before or after hitting the slopes in Aspen Snowmass.

Fantastic. Crepes are delicious. Staff members are friendly and helpful like all of Aspen. The shop is small so no real ambience to speak of but there are tables outside. Prices are resort level. Still, if you're here and in the mood for sweet or savory crepes then you'll be happy here.

If you want a terribly dry, not what you ordered crepe, come here. These are not traditional, soft, fold over crepes served on a plate. They're a hard, crusty almost icecream cone like thing served in a cardboard cone. Hard to tell the difference where the cardboard starts and the "crepe" begins! I ordered a Lemony Snicket crepe, and was handed a cone of sad wilted berries. No "homemade lemon curd" in it as advertised. It was dry and terrible. And for $20, this is one of the biggest ripoff on the plaza. Wound up giving most of it to the birds, they liked it. Will not come here again, no attention to detail to make sure they serve anything edible or a correct order. Sad.

My review is hopefully a counter-weight to the many other mediocre or negative ones with regard to the customer service, as I think they have stepped up their game. On both occasions they were quick and polite. I ordered here twice, once getting the banana Nutella crepe and once getting the grand marnier (latter pictured). They were both good and hot. I could see them chopping Driscolls unfrozen strawberries when I visited early in the morning (7A, just after opening) so I think their fruits are fresh and not frozen and defrosted or mixed into preserves, which is a plus. The grand marnier crepe, though, is filled with coarse sugar, which I thought was in excess. 4 stars (and tempted to 3, honestly) for pricing. $15 a crepe is pretty ridiculous, even for this sizing. In nyc I often get crepes for $7-8, at the most $12. I get aspen pricing somehow excepts itself from what is standard in every other city, but still. Should be lowered to $10-12, imo.

Service is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We were the only customers in the shop and given blank stares the entire time. I asked if I could add an item to the crepe and they looked confused by my request. I thought it might be a language barrier issue but after we sat and waited outside for the crepes (for an extended period of time) I noticed new customers entering and leaving the shop with food in hand. Turns out our food was waiting inside behind the bar just sitting there going cold. As others mentioned some of the things--like marshmallows-- were not even slightly melted or gooey. This place is banking on its location but it's overpriced for less than average quality products and below poor service.

The crepes are great, and they have a selection of crepes. The service is pretty good, and they are good at what they do. It is a great location located right off of snowmass mountain. It is a small place and you wait outside for your food after you order. What I like about it is your able to see them make the crepe right on the spot I would definitely give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. It was about $18 for one Nutella Crepe with strawberries and banana.

Loved the BOOMER! Delicious and sweet. Enjoyable to eat and watch the kids skate! Was a nice late afternoon snack as we waited for our 7:30 dinner reservations elsewhere.

The food is the best I recommend the boomer with strawberrys and Nutella or the brown sugar and if you want some lemon juice on it it's really good!The service is OK.And you don't sit in side because it doesn't have room.

Been here twice now and both times an absolute disaster and a mess. Today whag prompted my review is the fact that I stood in the shop ALONE for 5 minutes staring at 3 employees without being acknowledged. Same terrible service I got yesterday. I would not come back here. Prices are insane and tips on the screen start at 20 percent. I get the resort rip off mentality going on in Aspen but boy other shops have much better service and are worthy the price.

Always nice when you can get a gluten free crepe! Tried a savory and a sweet one. Both delicious. Good variety of options! Friendly service. Definitely recommend!!

Great food and service I received in Aspen even though it is the slow season and not much of the other places are open.

I love that they have a fresh food option, that is fun! I have tried several of the crepes, both savory & sweet, they make them right in front of you, and I have found the crepe makers to be friendly, I did see a few comments about price, but I think reasonable given this is Aspen/Snowmass! ( I had a $42 wagyu cheeseburger last night, so yes prices are high everywhere) Great crepes!

Got the Boulder Crepe and the California Crepe and both were really great. The place has a gluten free option for all crepe orders so that has made it a favorite spot for us. The place would have 5 stars but the kitchen is disorganized and very slow. Tip: order a snack while you wait for your Crepe! I got the chocolate croissant.

I read some reviews complaining about service. My service was fine. But the crepe wasn't. How can a crepe be not good you ask? For me, I got the bacon and Brie crepe. Sounded exciting. But everything was just thrown in and served not hot. Nothing melted together. It was just big blocks of cheese inside a crepe. Meh. 2 stars because there are a lot of crepe options. Maybe a sweet crepe would have been better.

Very overpriced. My crepe was burned and the workers were very unfriendly and rude. No other customers were in there and they acted annoyed that we had entered their business. The $14-$16 you pay for a to go crepe is not worth it for a burned crepe with mostly whipped cream in it. Plus there's is no indoor seating and eating a crepe to go is very messy. Would suggest looking elsewhere!

Best crepes EVER..BUT What the Heck! There is a sign in the window for us to " be patient because English is not their first language"...okay.. but what about customer service?? 3 waitstaff stood talking to eachother, making No Ones order, had to go in and remind them I had an order, they forgot.. then continued talking only to each other...ugh, come on people!

Very disappointed. So many things incorrect with our order. Ordered a Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas and there was no Nutella on the crepe.... Poor quality fruit. Paid $1.95 for "homemade chantilly creme" in my coffee and watched the worker put in canned whipped cream. Definitely not worth the money.

I was so excited to get back to Snowmass this ski season just for the crepes, especially the Italian. What a let down, I just paid over $50 for three crepes that where the worst I have ever had and had hardly any ingredients inside. I tried the Monte Cristo, and the Lemon Snicket along with the Italian. So disappointing that I will not return, however the staff was incredibly nice!

First time trying it, great experience great employees. I got the strawberry and velvet crape. Tasted amazing, didn't take long to make, and the fruit was fresh.

I haven't had crepes this good since the last time I holiday in Europe. If you like savory they got it. If you like sweet, they got it. Whatever you like you will probably find it on the menu.... I had the Boulder which was excellent... Very filling a real mouth full. Very generous portion. I wanted to try the smores crepe but I was too full. It's next on the list. Service is good, they do a good job of managing the line even during coVid. It sits right a the base of Snowmass Mt. and perfect after hitting the slope

these crepes are really good plus i was loving aspen so it may have influenced my love for these crepes but i don't think i've ever had a crepe before so i don't have much to compare it to but i know what i like and these crepes to just walk up and eat - were bomb

We really enjoyed our crepe with Nutella! The gluten free crepe was good too. I haven't had a crepe in a long time but we easily shared 2 amongst our family of 5.

I'm at a resort so of course everything is gonna be overpriced, Which is fine with me. but what is not OK is their customer service here is horrible. It's not busy, they literally had two orders but there's four crepe machines open and it took them 15 minutes to even start my order and only after I had reminded them that I've had been waiting. Lift tickets are expensive and I lost daylight just sitting here waiting when I shouldn't have been. I told him I wanted a refund because it hadn't been made yet and they quickly started the order and told me it would be up soon but it took another 10 minutes after that. And before I got my order, the manager walked out and he had made himself a crepe. Within customer visibility, the manager had the audacity to walk out on his break with a crepe in his hand before I had mine. This happened on Saturday, December 7, around 11:45 Am. If I had names to single out everyone I would, but I don't, so the day and the time is the best I can do. The crepe itself, isnt bad. I wouldn't say it's amazing, i give it a 6/10, but I like that it's handheld and easy to eat. I ordered a savory crepe, the "california", w the vegan crepe batter upcharge option. It didn't have a lot of flavor so I had to pour Cholula all over it. Final verdict: Next time I'm gonna spend my money elsewhere. This place is a joke

Yummy! Perfect après (or midday) ski snack. Great variety of sweet and savory treats and large enough to share (two adults and two young kids, we usually split one savory and one sweet). Quick turn around and portable food walking distance to the gondola. You won't be transported to France, but you will be full, happy and ready to his the slopes (or hot tub).

I've been getting crepes here since they opened, and after the pandemic break I went again and was disappointed. I am not someone that likes too much filling in my crepes, but the amount of Nutella in the crepes I got was microscopic. The crepes are thin and crispy which is ok, and I don't know if they became frugal with everything on the menu but I know I will not be getting the Nutella again as the crepe was as good as plain.

Excellent crepes, which isn't surprising because this place is owned by Mawa and everything she does is A+. I usually get the chicken with pesto. Whatever you get I recommend subbing in the buckwheat crêpe for an extra charge which is a game changer.

We were told they were out of batter 45 minutes before closing time. Good job running this business.

I had the Mawa's green crepe and added an egg - delicious! There was no one in line when I got there, and the ladies at the counter were really nice and quick to get my crepe ready. It's Snowmass, so everything is expensive, but it was a reasonably priced option among the others!

It is inconceivable that in this time, a business would discriminate against people with disabilities that require service animals. Even when those people are protected by the ADA and Colorado law. When brought to their attention, they stated "Its not against the law. Thank you. Let me know your finding or you can call the snowmass police department and the can update you. Thank you for checking in." They obviously didn't want to hear any findings as they blocked any further communication.

Delicious cheesecake crepe next to a fire after our happy hour was such a treat! Can't wait to come by to try the other flavors! They guys who work here are super friendly too. Overall great experience.

Reading some of the more recent reviews are quite shocking. My name is Chris, and a longtime customer of the ppl that own this restaurant along with their other reputable restaurant and catering business in Aspen. I also LOVE their food. The sign alluding to no animals in the Shack was because the restaurant is very small and it's against health code to have animals in an "open-kitchen" restaurant. The employees gladly would take orders and run food to guests on the outside patio so not once that I know did they refuse service to a guest with an animal. The ppl who run and operate the business are kind and if you reach out they do respond promptly. As far as the review about the manager eating in front of guests and slow service. The Shack had no manager on duty until after that weekend, not until the holidays, I know because they were in search of one. I think a review like this is wrong. They also have cameras at The Shack and video footage and can easily look up if their manager did such a thing. If your order was forgotten that's unacceptable and understandable if you're upset, but making up fallacies to critique a small business negatively is not fair. Yelp is important for businesses I get it, but it's a disgusting app sometimes. One horrible review like that can damage a small businesses reputation and its petty to make false claims so you feel better. It's better to reach out to management or email the business yourself and describe your bad experience, then depending on how they react to your claim is how you should perceive the company. Sometimes things go wrong in the restaurant business but how a company responds to disgruntled guests is what's important. Overall I felt unjust letting a couple of negative reviews be a first impression for a possible guest. The Crepe Shack is awesome. Just try for yourself. You'll see a line in the morning and during the afternoon. There's classic options, and I've been to Europe, The Crepe Shack stands true. They also have cool contemporary twists, and healthy options including a vegan batter and a hazelnut spread without preservatives unlike nutella. I've had several sweet crepes and a few savory options, I love this place and their crepes!

Really great crepes, must try. They have both sweet and savory so it's good for a dessert or meal/snack. Its in a really cute square in Snowmass- happy I tried it.

Im very disappointed with the quality and price of the item that I ordered. I ordered a classic Nutella banana and strawberry crepe. I payed $17 for it because it wasn't a crepe on the menu and it was considered a "build you own".... For comparison, a banana cream pie crepe which consists of banana, vanilla bean custard, Chantilly cream, and toasted coconut is $10.95, but I got a CLASSIC crepe with banana, Nutella, and strawberry for $17!!! In other words, it's a fat rip off, and it wasn't even that good. Don't waste your time. And you would think after talking about the ridiculous price with the employees, that they would have provided better customer service to keep me as a customer, but they didn't seem to care.

Yummm! Husband & I shared - 1 savory, the California, & one sweet, the Everything. Fast, friendly customer service. Only downside was the obnoxious, entitled, mafia-life New Yorker chic who insisted she & her gang belonged at the front of the line.

Very good crepes and not insanely overpriced which is surprising for the area and that it's in the brand new section of the village. The girls that work there are very sweet. Recommended for a nice breakfast or afternoon snack. Drinks a little overpriced

This is a great spot to grab something quick to eat. They have a great variety of savory and sweet crepes. My only complaint is there is no seating, so you need to take your food elsewhere once it is made.

"The Vegan" crepe was super delicious!!!! Spinach, caramelized onions, hummus never tasted so good together!!! The service was superb! Nice location! Absolutely recommend!

Hiked for a long time today and made sure to plan in my schedule a crepe at the end of my hike. Their website says they close at 5, so I got there at 3:45. At 3:45 they shut the door in front of me, let the guests in front of me order a crepe, and told me they were out of batter & were closing so I could not have a crepe. After they turned me away, I looked in their window and not only did they have batter in their kitchen, they were making more crepes. The menu looked good and the people were nice but I guess I'll never find out if it's actually tasty. If you want crepes here I recommend going 3 hours before closing because it seems like they just want to close when they want to.

Ate here a few times during my stay. The food is amazing. The coffee is good. The staff is borderline rude.

Lucy This place is right we're I live and I was really excited when I saw it and they do have great crepes and the service is really fast and it has the best savory crepes my favorite is the ham and cheese crepe I get it every time the sweet crepes are good to but I personally prefer the savory ones.I do wish they had outside seating because you can't have lunch or breakfast there but I do recommend trying it.

Half the crepes are great combos others are meh. But way way too much butter. Last time, about 1/4 cup of butter dripped out.

I absolutely love their crepes... I tried almost them all and I recommend this place. They serve expresso coffe drinks and some vegan snacks.
