Really good joint this I tell thee. Great wine selection (mostly, if not all, natural/low intervention) and it's a mere £10 of corkage charge to drink in. There is a list by the glass too, but one feels so much warmer inside when one has the bottle right there. Much nice cheeses are on display, as well as long life, dry-aged meats. Had a few cheeses and they were all delicious and at a fairly optimal level of ripeness. It's really good. Go and enjoy it in my opinion.

The little garden at the back is the best kept secret in Crouch End! It’s a great place to enjoy some delicious natural wine and cheese, tucked away from the business of the high street. The super friendly staff will help you pick want you need, always with the smile on! The range is actually quite wide as well which is super practical.

It’s not about the priciest or rarest bottles you’d find at a place like Hedonism Wines (a different crowd altogether!), but it’s clear each bottle has been carefully selected with true expertise and a love for wine. For those in the know, staying until closing might get you a chance to witness – or even join – a blind tasting of a rare bottle, where the staff’s passion truly shines. They love sharing their enthusiasm, so don’t hesitate to join in if the opportunity arises. Another insider tip: keep an eye on their Instagram, as they sometimes host tasting events for specialty bottles. The night before we visited, they cracked open a 5L bottle of organic wine from Veneto, Italy – a treat for anyone keen to try something extraordinary. It’s true that Crouch End is a bit off the beaten path, which might be a drawback for some. But in many ways, this exclusivity adds to The Cellars’ charm, keeping it a local favourite without compromising on quality. Highly recommended for a relaxed, memorable evening with friends – a true Crouch End experience!

Beautiful little shop in Crouch End with delicious cheeses and great wines! People in there are so helpful and friendly with a lot of knowledge! I would definitely recommend this place, they even do tastings!

Have visited the cellars for two tastings. The knowledge and the hospitality from the staff is great. They never fail to make me laugh with their shining personalities. If you like natural wines this place is a must. Did I mention the cheese? They pair the wines with great cheeses.

I came in to the shop waited 10 mins to be served even though there was someone free I wasn’t acknowledged at all I had asked for 100g but was given 135g and I had to pay the extra too honestly so upsetting worst customer service.
