Great place to get a small and casual brunch or breakfast in Edmonds. I’m glad that they have another location outside of Seattle. I enjoyed both my sweet and savory crumpet, if you never had a crumpet before it taste similar to a scone. Food comes out fast and if you’re pretty hungry, then two would be perfect. I highly recommend and would come back.

Crumpets were a new experience for hubby and me! We happily found out how good they are and especially at The Crumpet Shop in Edmonds. I went for sweet and hubby went for savory. My lemon curd crumpet was jut enough sweet, but not too sweet. Hubby had the savory egg and cheese crumpet that was in his words “very good.” The shop was very clean, the tea was spot on, and had free refills. Hubby enjoyed an Americano. A big thumbs up for crumpets from us! We will be back!

Wow delicious! I didn’t know crumpets were yummy. We got the egg ham and cheese one and the pesto ricotta tomato one which I added jalapeños to. Love it! And have to come back.

A fantastic addition to Edmonds! The Crumpet Shop is a true gem. The crumpets are absolutely delicious—perfect whether you’re in the mood for a casual snack, a fancy treat, or something in between. There’s a great variety to choose from: sweet options, hearty egg-based crumpets, and flavorful savory combinations. It’s an ideal spot for a quick bite, a relaxed family outing, or a catch-up with a friend or colleague. The vibe is super welcoming with friendly staff and great music playing in the background. It’s exactly the kind of spot Edmonds needed—quick, delicious, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

The Crumpets here are very good. The crumpet bottom has a great crunch and the toppings had a fresh and good flavor. I'll definitely be back to try some other options.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and loved it. I chose a lunch item of Ricotta cheese, pesto and tomato on a crumpet. He got a breakfast item of egg and cheese. Both were delicious and a great value for lunch at $7.00 each. I want to go back a try more crumpets from the wide choices and also the scones. Coffee was excellent as well. We enjoyed eating outdoors in the shade of the pavilion but they seem to have a busy take away business as well.

OMG! Edmonds won the lottery with the OG pike place location crumpet shop opening up locally. Life changing food, drinks, customer service. Make sure to check it out! 💖🤓

My lady and I stopped by this morning. I was not a fan of crumpets before now. Maybe I just ran into some bad ones before. I got a crumpet with raspberry jam and my lady got the egg crumpet. Both were excellent. You could tell they were fresh. Also got some coffee which was excellent. Came out quickly. Served nicely. The atmosphere is very clean and roomy. I was surprised to see that they sold both tea and coffee of several different types. Going to have to go back and get a bag of one or the other. The folks there were all good and helpful as well as cheery. So if you're looking for a quality spot to sit and have a very light meal with great coffee, this is a good spot in Edmonds.

Yelp
My sis took me here for brunch when visiting her and it was such a cute special experience! Located in Edmond in a plaza that looks new next to an ice cream place. They have savory as well as sweet crumpets with alot of different flavors to choose from. I really enjoyed my Rob's fav and Strawberry crumpet. My sis got the egg& ham and her bf got the raspberry. All were good but i liked mine the best. There r a few seats inside and outside and they offer coffee and non-ceremonial matcha and lemonade fizz drinks as well. I would def come here again to eat some more crumpets!

Yelp
Adorable little shop that transported me to Europe. Meticulously laid out with only a few seats indoors and outdoors. This was recommend to us by good friend of ours and we left happy and content. Service was friendly and prompt even with the line they drew when we arrived. Am I a crumpet connoisseur? Absolutely not. Is this my preferred breakfast sandwich over a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel? No, no. Was this tasty and worth trying? Heck yes! Crumpets are an English griddle cake. They're soft and delicate and I guess the most comparable to an English muffin? It makes for a good vehicle to add an assortment of sweet or savory toppings. Seattle Crumpet ($11.50) // egg, cheese, jalapeños, and ham on a cream cheese base. Tasty breakfast! Wish there was more heat from the jalapeños, but overall it was solid. If you have a big appetite like me, you might need something after just fyi! Cute and quaint. This is there offshoot location of the one that's been at Pike Place for decades. Give 'em a shot and try a crumpet!

Yelp
The Crumpet Shop at Seattle's Pike Place Market had been a distant pre-Yelp memory. So it was a well anticipated visit on Memorial Day (5/26/25) knowing they opened a second location in downtown Edmonds. Perfect for us northenders and day trippers off the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. This is a welcomed replacement for the former bakeshop that had closed. It is also one of the businesses that shares a vibrant corner location at 5th and Main. This also features other popular adjacent businesses with pizza, ice cream, a cafe, and a tavern spot sharing a courtyard. No surprise there was a line, but this allowed me to check out the menu offerings and gawk at the merch. But thankfully the pleasant counter person helped me decide on what kind of crumpet to order. I decided to go basic and have a fresh buttered crumpet with jam. There were a nice variety of both sweet and savory selections, whether it be a crumpet or scone. I had ordered my crumpet with strawberry jam, but received raspberry jam instead. No worries as it was nevertheless really tasty. I was able to sit at a two top, savor my crumpet and enjoy the onsite vibe. Bright, nicely laid out with the main counter, featured merch, prep and production areas. This was not a pinkies up high tea kind of spot. This is very casual and approachable whether dining onsite or as takeout.

Yelp
I always enjoy stumbling across a new baked good and this was a very pleasant surprise. I ordered the honey crumpet and it far surpassed my expectations. It was a very soft fresh baked. Good with a very nice honey and butter combo. The coffee was basic, but it doesn't matter. The food is so good. The staff was attentive and friendly and you can't beat an Edmonds location.

Yelp
Have wanted to try this shop in Pike Place forever but never made it. So glad they opened a convenient location in downtown Edmonds. I tried one of the Savory options: English Cheese, Pesto & Tomato. OMG. So good! The cheese has a great soft, gooey texture. It tastes like a sharp cheddar and was so delicious! The tomato was fresh and provided good acidity. But the pesto was out of this world. I dare say it was one of the best pestos I've ever had. It had a heavy olive oil consistency which made it feel light and airy. I feel like they use something other than pine nut because it didn't have that overly toasty flavor those bring to pesto. It was a tad sweet and really herbaceous as a result. The crumpet itself was denser than I expected and provided a perfect blank canvas for the amazing toppings. Very friendly employees and adorably cute inside. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This cute little shop offers a warm vibe, wonderful ice latte, and crumpet! The service is great! A good coffee shop for a morning fix!

Yelp
Very nice service and a fun place to meet a friend. I met several "regulars" while I was there who happily gave suggestions for both sweet and savory options.

Yelp
Delicious crumpets. Tried a plethora of them and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. The walrus is definitely a standout. Would come back for sure.

Antonio P.

Yelp
The perfect place to mix up your morning. Some are refreshing yet sweet like The Walrus. Some are savory and powerful like Rob's. The owners are hands on and ensure perfection. Highly recommend, you'll have a nice place to sit with kids or duck off to work with coffee.

Yelp
Love the crumpet shop! Everything to love from their pike place location in Edmonds. Has the same great taste and their tea is wonderful too. Only complaint is that the price has gone up. Parking was available on the surrounding streets. Service was good and lots of seating in the area although the inside seating area could definitely fill up. Only a 5 min walk from Edmonds main downtown area. Cozy and casual vibes

Yelp
Excellent coffee and the crumpet was extra tasty. I am about to go for a second time.

Yelp
So happy that The Crumpet Shop has opened in Edmonds. Now we don't have to go all the way down to Pike Place to enjoy these delicious treats. We got a nutella, a Vermont, a Mickey Rourke, and I asked for a special egg, English cheese with their AMAZING pesto on top. They were all utterly delicious. I even got to compliment the owner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was my first time trying crumpets and I'm a fan! We also got the unlimited tea, which got me thinking that I'm officially a tea girly. We got 3 savory and 2 sweet ones to try and they were all delicious! Of the savory, we tried the egg, ham, and English cheese. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and the ham was flavorful! The salmon cream cheese with cucumber was light and crunchy! The Parmesan, pesto, and tomato was definitely my favorite savory crumpet. No joke, I could've ate 2 more! It was also beautiful to look at, like a little veggie pizza! The 2 sweet ones we tried were the lemon curd and ricotta, which was the perfect combination of tart, tangy, and rich! We also had the Vermont which had maple butter, crumbled walnuts, and cream cheese. That was for sure my favorite sweet crumpet! The service was super friendly! The staff made us feel welcomed in the new space. I can't wait to visit again to try something new!

Yelp
This has long been one of my favorite breakfast places downtown, but I almost never venture downtown. To learn that they had opened their second location, and in Edmonds, no less (where I live), was beyond exciting. I'll be here OFTEN.

Summer S.

Yelp
Seriously yummy! It opened only a couple weeks ago and we've already been back twice. We love the simple, buttered crumpets, Nutella crumpets, and jam and butter. The Vermont has received rave reviews from my family. For a light and delicious brunch option, I recommend the egg, cheese, and jalapeño crumpet or the English cheese and egg. Their tea is also delicious! I especially enjoyed the fragrant, organic Earl Grey. Their lattes are OK, but not their strength. (There is a fabulous coffee shop across the courtyard if you'd like a top notch coffee.) The staff have all been very friendly. We are really grateful for this new and unique brunch and lunch spot in Edmonds! There are a few seats indoors, and if the weather is nice, there is plenty of space just outside in the courtyard as well. Our biggest recommendation is to get a couple crumpets per person, as they are a very light meal. We enjoyed getting one savory and one sweet preparation per person. Also, make sure you check the hours because they are only open earlier in the day and are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Yelp
Sad to write this one.. I knew better than to hit it on Mother's Day. That's what I get for not going with my gut. I'd been craving a crumpet and tea from Crumpet Shop ever since my boyfriend would take me there for a romantic brunch in 2001. I was delighted to hear they'd opened up a shop in Edmonds, because my a$$ could never get down to Pikes early enough. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Issues: No lemon curd. No. Buy a ton of it. You can't not have lemon curd! It literally took 15 minutes to get our 3 crumpets. And we were only one of 3 groups in there. The person making them was friendly, but moved like a snail. One crumpet was over-toasted and dry. Nooooo.. just no. The Earl Grey on "tap" wasn't strong enough. Blasphemy!. Was glad my neurodivergent child brought their headphones because the restaurant next door has a bowling alley. Need I say more about that. There was a sea of flies running circles in the middle of the store. I suggest getting something to help with that. The clanking of dishes being washed provided a comforting ambiance, which was nice. I'm happy with my 6-pack I brought home. Tomorrow I have a date with a couple of those babies, slapped eggs sunny-side up with some feta And I'm buying some lemon curd at the grocery store, so I can stomp my 24-year old craving- along with a strong bit of Earl grey in the form of a London fog. Might return and hope for better

Yelp
The variety of crumpet toppings is extensive. I loved the Vermonter! The service is friendly. It can get crowded quickly in the small but clean and bright eating area. Not really a place to open your computer and work... as I saw one person do. One thing to note is that the shop does not take cash for purchases. Card only.

Yelp
So excited to have this close by! We always visit when we're at Pike Place. The crumpets here are just as tasty as the original location.
