"Over several visits I found that Cultivar, from chef-owner Mary Dumont, is steadily finding its footing: the easy-to-miss — but unmissable — crispy Thai pork belly is tender with contrasting crisp textures and a fragrant South Asian vinaigrette and was singled out as one of the best things the reviewer ate in 2017; the Hubbard squash soup is well-balanced; the squid ink messinesi has become deeper and lustier over time; and the desserts are described as feasts for the eyes.
