It's a very nice boutique hotel right on the water, with great views and the location is really quite good. We didn't know Tampa much before booking, but booked this hotel based on the proximity to water and the fact that is was no more than a 25 minute drive from the various locations we wanted to visit. It worked out great, as we got the views and the pretty decent driving time to our planned locations.||We were expecting it to be a nice hot, and it was, but two things made it really extraordinary: We got the warmest welcome from the staff at the Front Desk, who treated us like we were the only guests in the place. Special shout-out to Keren, who went above and beyond to provide a memorable, comfortable stay. Not that te rest of the staff was any different.||The waiters at Julian's for breakfast were incredible (the breakfast was more than OK, too) and the Barista at the coffee bar was incredibly service-oriented, to the point that she opened the coffee bar after it had already closed because she saw me staring intently at the menu with a face needing espresso.||The room was nice, good size, good beds and linens, cleaned each day, very nice view... that was expected, but so often hotels like this don't deliver. This one did.||Pool area is cozy (yes, I mean small), but not too full of people, expertly tended to, with enough seating options to keep a bunch of guests happy, us included. The little touches, such as waiters just appearing out of nowhere with a little glass of cucumber strawberry juice in the hot sun were very appreciated.||The lobby is nice, with interesting art to enjoy while exploring and parking is just off the entrance. If you're self-parking (I think it was $25 a day), try to avoid the third floor, which is not covered. If you can't, your car will be hotter than the Sun for a while. Second floor is covered, but coveted. Valet is, I think $5 or so more per day, so I guess it could be worth it. Valet staff was amazing as well.||This is a definite "will stay at again" when we're in Tampa... which may happen sooner rather than later. It was a much more charming city, along with St. Pete, than we thought it would be.
