This Indian food is amazing. The portions are generous. Very clean and welcoming restaurant. If you have not tried Indian food, please try the Butter Chicken! That is always a favorite. I am not Indian, but I come from an area with a lot of Indian food. I have tried many Indian restaurants and I have had Indian food in 5 countries. Wooster is so lucky to have this family business. I used to live in Wooster. I am jealous they weren’t there when I lived there. I will still make sure to come back!

Working in the area. Indian food sounded like a good idea for dinner. Ordered Saag Chicken and some Samosas. Samosas came out super hot. We're very good. Chutney sauces excellent. The Saag Chicken came out later. Could tell it was pre cooked chicken chunks in the spinach sauce. It came out warm. Not hot. Had liquid separation. To say it was undercooked would not be accurate. It felt more like not reheated well. Spice and flavor was good. But for the price charged for dish, I'd expect better. Bill was then given..there was no clear way to add a tip and total. It was confusing, and did not make me feel great about this basic transaction. I really do not want to be negative about this place. The people are super nice. But it wouldn't be right if I had not mentioned these issue.

Excellente! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Tandoori Special. It was one of the best kebab entrees I've had in years. It was served on a platter the size of a tennis racket. The aromatic vegetables, sizzling in the succulent sauce was exciting. I was meeting one of my best friends for dinner. He ordered the Joe Rogan Josh, and described it as delightful and abundant. We ordered Kashmiri Naan for an appetizer. I've never had naan made with cashews and coconut. It was fantastic and we enjoyed every bite until there was none (or naan XD) left. Especially paired with the garlic sauce and chutney. The service was phenomenal. Our drinks were never empty, and the waitress was exceptionally helpful.

This place was great, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was delicious!! Will definitely go again.

I'm not as well versed in Indian cuisine as I am Chinese or others, but I already had a good idea of what I wanted before stepping inside. First, let's address the 3 star aspect, the atmosphere. Nothing in the restaurant hinted that it was an Indian restaurant barring a few photographs. No colors, no architectural styles, nothing. That's it, now to the good stuff! I was greeted as I walked in and gestured to sit anywhere. I received my drink quite fast and ordered the Chicken 69 appetizer. Excellent. That simple. Crisp and flavorful. Bright colors with just enough garnish to compliment the dish. Given a choice I prefer goat over lamb as the flavor stands up to the considerable flavors that India has brought to spices and sauces. They offered lamb here so I wasn't too disappointed. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh with garlic and butter na'an. Would divine be too strong a word? I don't think so. From the first bite I was lunched into a flavor expedition. The lamb was tender, the sauce was absolutely packed with flavor, and the na'an was slightly charred and perfectly tender, exactly as a tandoori oven should make them. I cannot wait until my next visit, hopefully they will consider adding shrimp pakorah to the menu. I highly recommend The Curry Pot.

Google
This was a great find on our way to Millers-berg Amish farms and we loved the biriyani, wish the service was a bit quicker but overall great experience. Thank you!

Google
Highly recommend. Food is always fresh, ready quickly, and portions are generous. I thought restaurants could only be “good, fast, and cheap, pick 2,” but this place proves that statement wrong. The Curry Pot also goes above and beyond to accommodate for dietary needs. Give it a try!

Google
Really wonderfully Indain food. I had the Tikki Masala and my wife had the chicken kabobs. We both had a side of rice and an order of naab bread. Everything was perfect. It's been a while since I was able to get good Indian food and was so happy to find this place. The service was really great and the staff was very friendly and prompt. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Stopped by twenty minutes before closing for take out. Had not been here before. Wasn't sure what their attitude would be as it was close to closing time. The girl that took our order was friendly and offered up suggestions on some of her faves. That really helped. Clean and cozy inside dining space with an all you can eat buffet during the lunch hour. May have to stop back for that one day. We ordered some garlic naan, butter chicken and Gobi 65. It was a 15-20 minute drive and the food was still warm when we got home to eat it. I love that the Gobi 65 had stayed crispy and didn't get soggy in the take away container. First time I've had this. My mom was sharing with me and she doesn't like anything spicy so we went mild with these dishes. I loved the crispiness and the flavor on the Gobi. Mom thought it was a bit warm and just had one piece. That's an appetizer you can definitely share and worth trying. I would order it again. The butter chicken was great. Definitely shareable as well. We both ate some of it and had a small portion of leftovers to share the next day. Loved the rice it came with. A perfect bit of flavor added to it. It was nice and fluffy. What's not to love about naan? Especially when you add some garlic! Delicious. Glad we ordered two servings of that. I love dipping it in the butter chicken cream sauce. Mmmm! I'm definitely glad we made the last minute stop and I wouldn't hesitate returning again.

Yelp
A friend and I recently tried their Grand Buffet for lunch and it was pretty good. I think the buffet is around $20/person, and it's not exactly what I'd call grand - 1 appetizer, naan, channa masala, 2 chicken dishes, a lamb dish, fish curry, and 2 dessert options. My mango lassi was close to $6, but good. The food was decent, and I did like their crispy spinach pakoras, but the options were pretty limited, and while it wasn't very busy when we were there, I also didn't really see anything being refreshed. Still, it was clean, the staff are friendly, and they had an accessible restroom. So, a pretty solid lunch option.

Yelp
Firstly, I was very impressed with the food. I grew up in the Scotland and enjoyed "authentic" curries from an early age. The Curry Pot reminded me of home. The Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent. My son ordered the mango chicken curry which was too sweet for my taste, but was flavorful with a rich mango laden sauce. The garlic naan was good, but was a bit thin and not doughy enough.

Jesse L.

Yelp
Ordered Chana masala and garlic naan this time, and again I am impressed. Excellent flavor, excellent service! Very clean restaurant.

Yelp
Well I can understand why they don't do dining room service even there there is nice area for dining but they have it blocked off Well the paneer Manchurian was oily, the paneer wasn't fried and really didn't taste like anything The gobi Manchurian, which is one of my favorite dishes, was very gritty, not fried well, way too saucy and overall not pleasant The naan bread weren't fresh, they are just store bought naan that were microwaved and thrown in foil The butter chicken is the only thing that saves the 2 star Flavorful, with nicely flavored chicken in a good size portion

Yelp
The Curry Pot one and only Indian restaurant in Wooster (formerly running out of Local Roots) is now open but for takeout & delivery only. They expect the dining room to open in 2023. We had the Samosa Chaat & Chicken Tikka Masala. The Samosa Chaat is a nice upgrade to regular Samosa appetizers. I loved it! Very filling and 100% Vegetarian. Their Tikka is staple for us. It's consistently good. Woosh delivery offering 50% off delivery fee. Definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
So glad The Curry Pot is part of the Wooster food scene! I've gotten the Chicken Biriyani before. It was really good. I ordered the Chicken Saag Friday and was really excited to try but my wife got mixed up and thought it was her's. So I ate her Chicken Jalfrezi and it was really good. Not all was lost with the Saag because I had her leftovers the next day. Excellent. My son likes the Chicken Tikka Masala. Can you guess...? It's good! Can't forget the Garlic Tandoori Naan. Yes, good! Keep up the good work Curry Pot! We'll be back again and again...

Yelp
The restaurant is one of a kind in Wayne county! The food and and the ambiance are spectacular!

Yelp
Prior to their formal opening, he had tried their to go service twice. We have been to the restaurant three times to dine in and will happily return. Today we had Lamb Korma and Saag Paneer, which is the best saag paneer I have ever had. The korma is always our favorite. The naan is delicious and tender. My daughter won't order anything else besides butter chicken, which I find on the sweet side and would prefer with chicken thighs over breast. But it is still very good, and my 9 year old just loves it. We've had several dishes there now and they are all very very good, but by far the korma and saag are a standout. We usually drive all the way out to Canton to get Indian but we are so grateful to have Curry Pot in Wooster. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The 2 different orders I've gotten over 4 visits are really good. Menu has good variety. The food's quality & portions match the price quite well. (The portions are generous enough that I have always had leftovers.) I've never had any problems with the service or ambiance. The first time I went, it had just opened for dine-in, and they seemed to be working out some minor kinks in the payment method. That was completely worked out by the next time I came.

Yelp
I came in on the grand opening of their dining room, and I had a fantastic time! I love Indian food, but I was a little hesitant to see what mid-Ohio had to offer. However, I was pleasantly surprised and everything was super flavorful. I have never had such flavorful Indian food in my life. Our server was extremely friendly, and the dine in area is casual but comfortable. Would absolutely come again, and recommend others do the same!

Yelp
Ordered take out tonight and I can't stop eating!! So fragrant and full of amazing spices and flavor. I had the lamb korma and I am in love with this dinner. Samosas are crazy good! All of the dips, I ordered extra and could drink them! lol! The butter chicken was spicey and I did order it mild. The flavors were intense and perfection. I will order extra extra mild next time. The garlic naan is just full of garlic and delight. I forget we have an Indian restaurant in town but my taste buds will keep me going for sure!!

Yelp
Incredibly delicious! I never leave reviews, but after trying The Curry Pot two days in a row, I felt compelled to sing their praises to as many people as I could. The establishment appeared to be very clean and nicely decorated, although I did not dine inside, having ordered carry out. The staff were also very friendly and polite, smiling and efficient. I very much enjoyed the chicken vindaloo, especially on a cold day. So warm and hearty, and so flavorful -- a rich, fragrant combination of spices, with just the right amount of heat. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food, but this was just fine for me. I especially recommend it with their cool, creamy mango lassi! My new favorite would have to be the chicken korma, which I thoroughly enjoyed this evening. Whatever you try, be sure to order some bread to soak up all of that amazing sauce! The poori and bhatura are a perfect addition to any meal! I can't say enough nice things about this place. If you're in the mood for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine, look no further!

Yelp
Tasty food but low value. My first Indian restaurant that does NOT include basmati rice with meals !!!! Really?

Yelp
This spot is absolutely incredible!! I have not tried Indian food before and I was looking for something authentic and full of flavor and I totally got that. The mango curry with paneer was absolutely jam packed with flavor, the rasamalai was the most unique dessert I have ever had the honor of trying. My husband went in to pick up our order and everyone working in there was super nice and super friendly. Absolutely 10/10 recommend and will come back.

Yelp
I recently ordered the Chicken Saag with Regular Rice and the Samosa Chaat. It was all delicious. For those unfamiliar, The Chicken Saag consists of boneless chicken cooked in a creamy spinach sauce with onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, and house made spices. It was particularly delicious. Looking forward to ordering again.

Yelp
First Indian restaurant in Wooster. Family owned. A great variety of Indian dishes. Food carefully prepared. Chicken Korma is delicious. I haven't tried many dishes yet but I will return.

Yelp
We had a great dinner at the Curry Pot! The restaurant is open for dine-in, but we took ours to go. We had samosa, Gobi 65 (spicy cauliflower appetizer), lamb chops from the tandoori, chicken biryani, chicken tikki masala, Chana masala (chickpeas), chicken saag and a couple types of naan. Everything was delicious. I loved the biryani. We ordered the sauced dishes spicy, and they were great (I would put them at about a 3 on a1-5 scale of spice - very flavorful and with spice but not aggressive). Our family loved everything! Can't wait to eat here again!

Yelp
The food was awesome. Definitely adding it to our takeout rotation. The customer service was next level.

Yelp
The curry pot in Indian restaurant in Wooster Ohio and if we can eat when I'm going to the curry pot we were very dissatisfied. My friend Brian ordered Shrimp Mango Soup. We asked if there were large shrimp they said yes however when eating the soup we discovered there were no shrimp. That soup was $12 alone. We also Order two other items on the menu. When it came to us were no longer even in the mood to Currently Stay anymore. We both agreeded just to simply Walk Away from the whole establishment and Never go back again. It is not like me to Some how just to walk away from the whole establishment and yet Agree not to ever go back again. I warn you you are Going to Be Highly Disappointed by far.

Yelp
Did take out. Was good but too sweet for butter chicken. Naan are not naans as made in Indian restaurant, it was more like pita like texture and tiny as pita bread and more like store bought than fresh made. Good for American taste buds as it's not authentic in flavors as Indian, Indian restaurant.

Tina M.

Yelp
This place is delicious! Everything we've had is phenomenal. It's great that they offer vegan options as well.
