It is literally life changing to have access to this meal service! I have multiple severe allergies that make it very difficult to find meals that I can eat without making them myself. Using custom plate has made my life so much easier, it tastes good, and I've never had any reactions to their food, which is much more than I can say for many allergy conscious restaurants I've been to. I also really love that they are local so there's no shipping waste associated with ordering from them.

I have used Custom Plate many times and their food is amazing. It is the best food service I have ever used. Not only is the food super healthy and locally sustainable but it is so delicious. I used them after my surgery it helped me heal quickly and I felt amazing due to the food I was putting in my body. I have a hard time finding delicious food considering I can't have gluten or dairy. They always took such great care to make sure I was getting foods that worked with me body. Oh and the owners are awesome and truly care about the people they are feeding. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking for a food service.

I love love love this place. The daily meals and the wellness meals are phenomenal and not fussy. Everything tastes great. The macro meals are perfect if you are looking to loose weight or are competing in any type of fitness competition - they are not fussy, whole ingredients, real food and not chalked full of salt. They also saved me last summer when my husband was deployed and I lost childcare for 3 months, I was able to keep up my nutrition without the burden of cooking or the mental load of meal planning. Tamara was also kind enough to walk through the wellness meal plan I should get to help with issues I have been having since the birth of my child. I can't say enough about this place!

I have known this business for more than 4 years. The owners Tamara and Keeley are quality and health conscious people. They care for their clientele and go out of way to serve wholesome nutritious food. I have personally used their services and also recommended them to my friends and family and always heard good feedback from people who used their services. As a small women owned local business they always champion the community cause. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS, WHOLESOME FOOD.

If you’re looking for convenience in eating healthy, you’re typically forced into a frozen aisle at a grocery store or a boxed meal at home. If that doesn’t appeal to you, just like it doesn’t appeal to me, then The Custom Plate is your solution. Not only do I appreciate the healthy food, I appreciate the color on the plate, and I appreciate the flavor! Healthy doesn’t have to bland or void of color - The Custom Plate addresses it all! Don’t let negative reviews trick you - I’ve followed this company and the people behind the name for over 10 years now and will continue to do so!

The food delivered by Custom Plate is delicious and healthy. It is so wonderful to have a few of these beautiful dishes on the ready for a busy week. Tamara who is the owner and chef here, is kind and puts absolute love into each dish.

I highly recommended custom plate, the owners are wonderful caring people. They are very fair priced and go above and beyond my expectations! I had our wedding catered and all our guests were very pleased with the food and presentation. I highly recommend custom plate. I am honestly so happy with The Custom Plate, in every way. As a full time small business owner and combat veteran with PTSD and ED, I really have needed help with my meals (especially during COVID). My background is in nutrition, and I generally love to cook, but haven't had the capacity to do so in a genuinely healthy or tasty way over these past months. The folks at The Custom Plate create seriously incredible and nourishing food, and I'm so grateful for it! I've tried many meal services and kits, and never cared for them much; generally there was too much recycling and waste, and the meals themselves tasted pretty meh, or weren't actually very healthy. The Custom Plate definitely stands alone; as a former head chef, I don't offer that feedback without merit! There was a hiccup with an order one week, but Dean was really kind and communicative when I reached out, and remedied it immediately. I ​can attest from personal experience that small businesses *will* run into issues. Just be patient and kind, and know what's coming is going to be really kind to your body-mind, while tasting amazing. I highly recommend giving it a try.
