The Daily

Was stared at and told off by one of their staff members for parking at an open spot that had no visible No Parking sign. My friend and I stopped to get water and coffee. We are not from the area. Upon returning to our parked car, a woman stood in front of our passenger window to stare and make her presence known. Confused, I rolled the window down to ask her what was wrong. She rudely told us they will call a tow and that there is no parking there during certain hours/days. We looked to see if we missed a sign. Turns out the metal sign is completely folded in half. Impossible to see or read. She started arranging the cones which we never moved to gain parking. Just trying to hydrate, did our best to make sure it was okay to park. Just trying to enjoy a day not working in the hospital and getting harassed. Can you do me a favor. Try being considerate. It helps you and it helps others. Lastly, one star because the barista inside was lovely.

As a visitor to Boston this place was weird. Only one employee acknowledged me when I said hello. But she was the friendliness person I think I met in the week I was there. Everything was super expensive. I want to like this place. It's a really neat place.

Great experience here getting coffee and a pastry! The selection of grocery goods seems right up my aisle, as well. Lots of options for dietary restrictions, etc. Thank you!

Trendy modern looking supermarket with a nice variety of hip and health oriented products. They also serve coffee drinks, some pastries and snacks. Minutes away from the Red line station so you can buy some snacks on your way to the city or on your way back, planning your dinner.

An amazing local store that has been a life saver. So grateful we have the Daily in our neighborhood!

Old fashion values meet new wave service. Always a great venture when shopping and just hanging out. Nobody kinder than the Bakers, nobody.

I love this store! They have a little bit of just about everything, all the basics. Also, fresh bread and pastries from local bakeries, a wine and beer selection, seasonal goodies and toys, and great prepared food. I also really appreciate that they try not to directly compete with the beloved local sandwich shop across the street. Such a great place, so glad they set up shop here!

This is like Dorchester's version of Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, but better and local. It's got everything you need, plus a cafe, flowers, and awesome staff!

Words cannot describe the love I have for the Daily Market. I used to live right next door to this fine establishment and it's probably one of the things I miss most about living in Savin Hill. The Daily is a neighborhood safe haven, especially for those days when you forgot to buy a tomato or onion for the red sauce you were planning to make for dinner. I miss the convenience and luxury of living right next to upscale local grocery store. Not only can you find fresh baked goods (e.g. breakfast pastries, desserts), but you can also find a deli, premade lunches like chicken fingers, sushi, or a Cobb salad. I love that the Daily has fine selection of alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages as well as healthy organic snacks that you would find in Whole Foods. I especially love Recess and discovered the refreshing magnesium based drink here. Street parking is super easy to find on a side street or the Savin Hill Avenue.

A lovely upscale market with premium brands, prepared foods and fresh produce. It is an aesthetically pleasing design inside with tall but wide food aisles. The baked goods looked heavenly including specialty cupcakes and torte. They have a coffee bar, with espresso. One can grab a bite a to eat and sit at a counter bar with plenty of plug in capacity. Stylish logo and staff uniform. One downside is coffee area is near door. Brrrrr in winter.

I love the rossieterr bbq chicken Delicious and so good. I shop for fruit and dessert. Good soda. Hot bar and good dinner.

What a great market right across the street from The Savin Hill T! I am so happy this place opened in my neighborhood. There are so many selections of food, and tons of gluten free items which is perfect as my son has celiac disease! In addition, they also have a fresh deli as well as fresh made meals to go. There is even an area to buy some fresh coffee and pastries!!! I also love the fact they mix regular day items with local and unique items that you wouldn't find at a stop and shop or star market. As for price, it is VERY competitive to Star Market, and cheaper than Whole Foods. I am a big proponent in shopping local/small business and this place is now my go to for all my grocery needs.

So grateful to have this place in the neighborhood! Sayonara star market! Great varied selection, and bakery is wonderful. The pain au chocolat (they call it a chocolate croissant) is the best I have had outside of France. It's dangerous living so close, I'm going to get gordita ;). I'm excited to try more items. Owners are sweet people too.

While in the store another customer began using the f word with me, being rude and aggressive. To store workers witnessed the situation and chose to do nothing. Furthermore, their sign says You must wear mask to enter the store but this gentleman was not wearing his mask. The store not only instigates gentrification it does not intercede when needed.

Fantastic new market in Dot across from Savin Hill station. Loads of groceries, fresh produce, prepared foods, meat counter/butcher, small bakery section, and friendly, helpful team members! So happy it's here. Check it out.

I absolutely love this market. They stock Just about everything and the prices are comparable and sometimes less expensive than the 2 supermarkets in our area. It is a real gem for the neighborhood.

Bro I come in here because it's a hidden gem in the hood. Customer service from the most wonderful Sean himself. Family friendly and clean environment with local n farmed goods.

Found this place quite by accident. Great selection for all food preferences. Grocery, prepared foods, deli, bakery. They have it all. Highly recommend

I find myself going to The Daily more and more. Just to avoid the large lines and the large supermarket I find everything I need at The Daily Good prices lots of variety! And so convenient! Love it there!

This is our new favorite grocery store to go to. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the pricing is fair and the options are great.

Would be fine if they did something about the parking situation. There is literally no where to park your car. Let alone a city councilor lives right on the side of the place and he gets a special parking spot reserved for him.

Depending on who waits on you at check out, the price changes. I have bought the same exact item for over a year. Sometimes it's 4.99, sometimes 5.99, sometimes 6.99, Has nothing to do with supply chain issues. It goes up and down depending upon employee. And plenty of attitude from behind the counter. Otherwise, prices are astronomical!. Prices are higher than Whole Foods or Trader Joes, without same selection or quality. I get that this is a smaller mom and pop, but they gouge away on the price tags. On the plus side there are some local made or New England made items which is great to see, but still very pricey. The location is great, but not worth it any more. Market Basket is still worth the trip

Lovely new grocery store in Savin Hill. Large selection of products given the size of the store. The space itself was modern and welcoming, and the staff was warm. Glad to have them in the area now, and looking forward to shopping there again.

Such a great new addition to the neighborhood! I've been a few times now and love all the great products I've found. Went this weekend to stock up on some things for the week but was nervous they might be low on stock due to coronavirus but everything was great. Fully stocked with everything I needed (and some things I didn't but just had to try)! The two working the check out were super friendly and was great seeing them use gloves to protect themselves. I got 2 everything bagels and the cinnamon pop tart for breakfast treats and they were AMAZING. My husband and I can't wait for our next trip for some more goodies. Thank you so much for staying open, well stocked and having a friendly, welcoming environment during this crazy time. We appreciate it more than you know!

Great addition to the neighborhood. Great food choices, reasonably priced. Extremely well stocked for a store with limited space, with a variety of foods, including baked goods, meats, frozen foods, fruits and vegetables.
