Huntington Catering truly stands out amongst other caterers, they care about their food and service - and it shows. We hired HC for our wedding to handle our dinner service, bartending and appetizers during cocktail hour. Our initial tasting with them was actually one of our most treasured memories from the wedding process, they treated us so nicely and served us so many options for drinks and dinner that we could choose from. By the end of the tasting, we felt like we had a dream menu for our wedding - and we really did! Plus, they were QUITE generous with the portions they gave us during the tastings … of both the food AND cocktail options lol. Made for a fun, relaxed and delicious experience. We had a pasta-based menu for the wedding day and it was insanely good. We kept getting raving reviews from our guests about the short rib bolognese, and the service was amazing. HC went out of their way to check on us multiple times throughout dinner and ask if we wanted more of anything, which is made us feel so special and cared for as bride and groom. The chocolate espresso dessert was also a HUGE hit with everyone. The cocktails were also top-notch, I still can’t believe how well they pulled off a pisco sour! Communication during the wedding process was also great, sometimes they were busy but they always made up for any tiny amount of time I had to wait with their kindness and service. I’m so grateful for the role HC played in our wedding, thank you!!! Pictures are from our tastings, they treat everyone so well!

This place is so cute, and bummed that it took me too long to stop by. It is located in a hard to see corner in the same place as Trader Joe’s. The inside is nicely decorated and the menu is simple and filled with nourishing foods. I walked out with the very berry banana smoothie, and it was so refreshing and delicious!

I have wanted to stop in and support this local gem since they opened, and last night made my way in for a smoothie. I'm so glad I chose to support a locally owned place because not only was my smoothie absolutely delicious, the worker was above and beyond kind and really cared not only about where she worked -- but about South Pasadena as a community. This is why I love supporting local business... it really makes a difference and maybe the smoothie tasted even better because of the care put in by the worker.

i think this place is seriously underrated. i was originally skeptical because they replaced the goat grassroots ( rip 💔) but i came in for a bowl and a smoothie and really enjoyed both. the bowls are like a healthier chipotle- you choose a base (salad, quinoa or rice), a protein, and several toppings. i believe you can make the bowls into wraps, too. they also have sandwiches, smoothies, and juices. i think the prices are pretty fair for the quality/ everything tasted super fresh and healthy. also the smoothies are 20 oz for $10-12- and are a healthier and imo tastier alternative to the crazy expensive jamba juice that's in the same parking lot. overall i will be back and i reccomend!

Huntington Catering made our outdoor wedding in Malibu Canyon an incredible event! From start to finish, Justin and his team were knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. We were expertly guided on where to place things for the reception and special moments, and all of Justin's instincts were spot on. It worked out so beautifully. The food was elegantly presented and incredibly delicious--our guests are still raving about the meal! Even the vegans were thrilled with their dinner (which is not an easy feat!) Every detail was handled with care, from rentals to cake cutting, and all with flawless timing. The whole team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to have the most magical day, and really enjoy our party!! We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

So nice that The Daily has opened! I just tried it today for lunch. They have a selection of grab and go salads, sandwiches, and sides, made fresh each day, and they also have made to order juices, smoothies, and bowls. I went along with my husband. He ordered the Spicy Italiano sandwich and a green juice. I ordered a custom bowl ("like Chipotle but better" as they told me) and the green smoothie. The bowl seemed pretty simple but it was such a nice combination of ingredients. I added the chicken which was really good, and I got the harissa ranch sauce to finish it- very tasty, a little spicy. We had to sample each other's choices too. Everything is really fresh with nice high-quality ingredients and the recipes are excellent, more elevated and considered than your typical lunch cafe. The stuff we got was so great, I'm excited to return and try more! We got a side of the Tahini Sweet Potatoes after we finished lunch, to take back home and enjoy with dinner. The employees are super friendly and helpful too. And they are closed on weekends so plan accordingly. This cafe is run by Huntington Catering so you could also have them cater your events and parties. They do their catering tastings here at The Daily too!

Justin and the team at Huntington Catering were absolute delights to work with! From our first meeting at their restaurant, we felt in such good hands talking to their team about the specifics of what we wanted the general vibe to be for the food and bar service. For our tray passed cocktail hour, they were super collaborative and allowed us to continue to try items until we found the options we thought were perfect. The menu was inventive and the bites were super flavorful and a giant crowd pleaser. For the bar service, they went above and beyond in creating two signature cocktails for us, both of which were absolute highlights amongst guests at the reception. The serving and bartending staff were top notch: friendly, accommodating, and incredibly efficient. We used an outside vendor for our dinner and they were professional in their collaboration with the other team, creating a seamless dinner service for us and our guests while also providing a delicious family-style selection of sides to pair perfectly with the main entree. We had a large portion of guests coming in from out of town and many of them said the food was the most interesting and delicious they had ever had at a wedding! Their team made sure everything from alcohol needed to plate rentals was taken care of which was a huge amount of stress off our shoulders. If we ever needed to cater an event again there’s no other company we would go to!

My family (wife and two toddlers) loved the food and juices from here! We got the Green Goddess sandwich, tahini sweet potatoes (absolutely divine), berry oats, a green juice, an immunity juice, and a tropical paradise smoothie. It was all healthy and tasty. The juices and smoothies were freshly made to order. The green juice was amazing, no bitterness at all and the kids loved it. The service and staff were very friendly and fast. Will definitely bring the fam back for more food and juices.

Words cannot do justice to how absolutely bomb this place was, so I made one up. "Synthalicious" (sin-thuh-LISH-us) Definition: (adj.) Incredibly tasty, especially in a high-tech, next-level way; delicious beyond traditional flavor -- like something engineered for maximum pleasure This food was soooooo gooooooood!!! The inside is very cute and green. Me and my mom got the Harissa salad and they have it right there on the side or they can make it for you if your teeth are sensitive. The spicy kick from the sauce is strong but good and the green machine smoothie just adds to the experience, it tastes like you are entering a forest and there are trees everywhere and pine cones it's so synthalicious. Plus the chips are also very good. FYI this place closes later than 4. 11/10

Really enjoyed the bowls and smoothies here!! My husband and I came twice in one week and used a BOGO coupon we had gotten a while back. The food was portioned very generously and felt very healthy and nutritious. We were able to split a bowl and smoothie between us and feel full. We enjoyed the chicken option more than the beef but both were delicious. Both the employees working there were super welcoming and nice. Would definitely go back! Parking: there is a free lot with parking! This restaurant is in the same lot as Trader Joe's, so it can get busy

Food and smoothies are gross and overpriced! Workers are not friendly either. Weird vibes in there. Terrible business. Would give half a star if possible. We deserve a much better quality restaurant/cafe that has respect for the neighborhood.

Cute new healthy food shop! The make fresh salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. The staff were nice. We ordered two smoothies, Green Machine and Tropical Paradise. Both were super filling! The Green Machine was strong on the banana and avocado flavors while Tropical Paradise was strong on its mango and almond butter flavor. These were definitely meals!

Love that I can make my own bowl- chose quinoa as a base added some roasted seasonal veggies, chicken and a few other items and had a delicious satisfying lunch. Pre made sandwiches available. Snack items offered-Smoothies made to order- nice indoor space to sit and eat- friendly staff; free parking but shared with other businesses so can get crowded at times.

Came here after a work out to eat something healthy. This place is new and very clean! the service is exceptional. the guy who helped me out was attentive and informative when i asked for assistance on how to order from the build a bowl or suggestions as for the food, i thought it wasn't bad! i think it could be a little better though. i think i just prefer the cava harissa chicken bowl and i felt like the chicken wasn't seasoned enough / it could be cut a little bigger rather than in small little bits. overall not bad!

I had been meaning to try this place for a while and I am so glad I did! I custom made my bowl with chicken. That chicken has INCREDIBLE flavor. Also, the person helping me with my order was so nice and patient as I perused all the great options. I will definitely be back!

Tasty new place that makes me feel like I'm eating healthy, while still being delicious! I decided to try a few things and the service was very friendly and helpful with choosing a salad and customizing my smoothie. Nice to have a good, fresh grab-and-go with table options as well in this area.

This place is a pleasant surprise. It took over the old health organic mart and the location is great. There is currently some construction at the moment making it a little annoying to visit however that should soon be fixed. Popped in before work to see what this shop was. Its quiet and nicely laid out with a few tables and few grab and go meals. It also looks like they have a hot bar but i was too early to get that. The food is delicious with the spicy italian sandwich and tahini roasted sweet potatoes hitting the right spot between indulgence and health. the italian sandwich had this nice balance of heat and meatiness. The sweet potatoes were roasted until tender and covered with tahini and lemon. It was delightfully tangy and sweet. It really rounded out the spicy sandwich. If ur in the area pop in for a nice sandwich and vibe!

I went to this location yesterday around 3 p.m. I walked up to the doors and they automatically opened, but before I could even step one foot into the establishment a worker came up to me shouting we are closed, why would you come in, we closed an hour ago. Yet when I looked at the doors and windows there was no sign indicating that there were closing early. Which brings up the question of why weren't the doors locked, most restaurants lock their doors when its closed due to legal reasons. This was the first and last time I will be coming here. I was excited to come and try their smoothies as its a healthier alternative to Jamba juice, but after this experience I will try other places instead. Just a fair warning to others who might be looking to visit this establishment, be careful of when you enter or you might be told off.

The Daily by HC is a fantastic spot! From the time I walked into the space, I was impressed. I was greeted by such a friendly employee, I wish I caught his name. Food: For my first foray into their menu, I tried the Spicy Harissa Salad -Chopped chicken, charred corn, avocado, grape tomato, red onion, romaine, crispy chickpeas, feta, and harissa ranch Quinoa Tabouleh Salad -with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, herbs and red wine vinegarette The Green Goddess Sandwich - Sliced chicken, dill green goddess dressing and pickled veggies on ciabatta. My sandwich had pickled green beans which was a new and exotic taste for me. I was so happy with everything I purchased and would definitely have it all again. Ambiance: The staff was so friendly, and I really liked the dine-in space. It was roomy and also a good place to get some work done. Bottom-Line: I absolutely enjoyed everything I ordered and can't pick a favorite. The Sandwich was so generous and tasty. If I had to choose one, the spicy harissa salad was perfect for me. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try fresh, unique, and flavorful restaurant. I will definitely keep them in mind for a catering order!

I ordered The Daily from TGTG and they provided a generous amount of food. What was in my bag? Received one french vanilla cupcake, two rice bowls with chicken and veggies (both were different flavors). Staff was very friendly. Parking is easy and it's right in front of the store. Excited to come back to try more outside of TGTG!

Fantastic smoothies and bowls. You can design your own bowl and they have a lot of healthy ingredients to choose from.

I work up the street from this place and wanted to give it a try based on the photos and I'm glad I did! The sandwiches are premade, but it sounds like they make them daily. This was the goddess and it was so good. I will definitely be coming back to try other things in the menu. Everything looks good and it's fresh.

This review is for their smoothie menu. The pricing for their smoothies is comparable to Erwhon, meaning they are $$$. The menu is limited and ingredients are frozen. The service is good but I was the only person in there. The ambiance is casual, clean but with limited seating. Overall underwhelming and pricey.

This is the spot! Great food & great service! Ive had the spicy Italiano sandwich multiple times and have tried a few different smoothies as well. Always consistently impressive. They also have salads, yogurt & granola parfait as well. And don't forget to grab a bag of their Furikake mix, thank me later! A really good, fresh and healthy alternative in South Pasadena!

Came for the soft opening and was VERY pleasantly surprised!! The Green Goddess chicken salad is so refreshing, and the quinoa tabbouleh salad was great too, the quinoa was perfectly cooked. Not pictured was the spicy Italiano which was SUPERB!!! Oh my gosh, the kick in it is amazing. And you can't not try the Harissa Chicken salad- WOW. We couldn't get enough! So glad south pas has a new lunch spot.

the kids love it AND I can get a delicious/healthy lunch. what more do you need? I guess an indoor play structure would be nice.. maybe stand-by baby sitters and a speak easy tequila shot station? perhaps? we'll see anyhow, will be bringing my monkeys here for lunch. often. chocolate smoothies and ham samiches pls. like Al Green said: "L-O-V-E" it!!

Hooked on The Daily! Build your own salad is phenomenal and healthy! I also love the Carrot juice. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Happy to have the daily in South Pas.

The food was great but the staff were incredibly rude. The woman taking orders was unwelcoming and seemed to not want to be at her job. When asked a question, she responded back coldly. When told to have a nice day, she also did not respond back. I did not get her name, but she was a younger brunette woman. The sandwich was great, but I definitely will not be returning!!

I had a "bowl" at the Daily that was simply amazing! I am a life-long vegetarian and opted for the tofu and pineapple chunks, delicious rice, carrot slivers, black olives, feta cheese and wine vinaigrette dressing. I'm going back asap to try one of their smoothies and the veggie sandwich. Easy five stars

"Shop small" is a form of supporting a number of small businesses, and in this case The Daily. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon them in a pursuit to pledge patronage to a Family owned and operated business. I was certainly not disappointed when I chose them. From the moment I placed my order with the Team to the delivery of the meal, the experience was very "white glove". Great customer service. Great meal preparation. Fantastic "platting" and an overall feeling I did the right choice. Bravo Zulu.

The food and staff here are amazing! My favorite is the Harissa Chicken Salad and the Green Goddess Sandwich. I was also surprised how much I enjoyed their fresh pressed beet juice as I am not usually a fan. Overall great experience and somewhere I will be stopping in more often!

Pasadena, don't walk, run to The Daily for your lunch and smoothie. My first visit was amazing. The ambiance is refreshing, great ac for the summer and good music playing. I optioned to build my own bowl which was soooo tasty and full of nutrients. I picked the very berry banana smoothie, amazing! You can also build your own smoothie but I chose a signature one. Thank you Anthony for your friendly and detailed customer service! I will definitely return. (Too bad I ate my bowl before I remembered to take a picture)

I really want these kind people to succeed, but I fear they won't. I am willing to entertain spending $16 on an exceptional sandwich, but not for a prepackaged refrigerated sandwich or salad that was prepared hours ago. In a big empty dull space. The way I would describe the food is like when you're in a hurry at LAX and you buy the best-looking prepackaged salad/sandwich you can find. It will be a little better than the worst, tiny, anemic looking ones, but in the end you are paying a lot more for just a little better. For a $16 sandwich, I expect the bread to be fabulous. This bread may or not have been good in the morning, but by the time I ate it - maybe the refrigeration had done something to it - but it was terrible, a lot like the rolls you get on an airplane - dry. The salad was just OK. The juices and smoothies looked good and seem to be made fresh - but I did not try them. I wish I had so I might be able to complement them here. This concept is just not going to work. I can't think of anyone who is going to find this to be an OK value. No atmosphere, pre-prepared food, self-service, expensive. What might work is prepared food for busy working South Pasadena families to heat up for dinner on the way back from work. But they are closed after 3:00pm. It's just puzzling. Maybe this is really a ghost kitchen that also has a public element for kicks. I really can't figure it out. I do wish them well and hope they will tinker with the concept to hopefully find their niche. I want all my local businesses to succeed so we don't end up with all franchise stores around. I hope they can get there!!

This place just opened and it absolutely rocks. The chicken sandwich is exceptional- loaded with moist flavor. Love the chill vibe and the half the price of others smoothies and juices. Never thought I'd love what they put in them but they're beyond addicting -in a good way. Super friendly staff too. Perfect great new bfast or lunch option in SoPas

Thank GOD this place opened up in my hood. The space is bright and inviting, the staff is warm and friendly, and the food and smoothies are SO lovely. Will definitely be heading back soon to work my way through the menu!

Um... Yes! I'm thrilled to see The Daily now open in South Pasadena. I believe the community is going to adore this restaurant. I had the chance to visit during their soft opening and sampled a bit of everything that was vegetarian-friendly. The sandwiches, salads, and sweet potatoes all tasted fresh and had a light, satisfying quality. I particularly enjoyed the Asian Sesame Salad. And let me tell you about their shakes! I tried the Cacao Crazy, and it was both delicious and filling. The atmosphere is casual and fosters a sense of community. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu whenever I had questions. I eagerly anticipate watching this space evolve. Oh, and by the way, there's plenty of parking! I'll be telling everyone and their mother about this space.

Got a preview of the spicy Italian sandwich and spicy harissa and chicken salad. The spicy Harrissa and chicken had the perfect balance of freshness and savory elements with a hint of heat. Can't wait to come back!

I used the Huntington Daily for my husband's 40th birthday at our home last month. I had a great experience with them. Gina, the manager, was easy to work with and a pleasure to meet. She was very quick to respond to all emails and phone calls. She was also very flexible in working with my budget and putting together a menu that appealed to all guests which included children. Everyone thought the food was great. If you are looking for fresh, prepared food to be delivered to your doorstep, consider the Huntington Daily Catering!
