Had a nice dinner here tonight. The patio is very clean and beautiful. The staff were attentive and humorous. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the calamari meatballs, and the broccoli along with the clam chowder were above average. I do not recommend the squid pasta. Next time I would stick to only seafood.

Pefect evening to take the ferry back and forth from Hingham to Long Wharf, then a short walk towards the North End. We scheduled our dinner early for an earlier boat back to the South Shore. Our server was great, and a veteran of the original Daily Catch; very smooth, with a hint hint of Willem Dafoe. Started with the Grilled Octopus and Calamari - the octopus was fun to start with, but the Calamari seemed to be fried too long w a tough crunch. For dinner, 3 of our party of 5 went with the signature black pasta dinner that they all raved over. The monkfish masala was amazing! I've cooked with monkfish, but I hadn't thought about having it this way, and it blew me away!

We came here on a Friday night and we made reservations. We had no wait and were seated inside next to the window. We had a beautiful view of the water and sunset. Our waiter was excellent. We started with clam chowder (which had giant oyster crackers in it) and the octopus, both of which were delicious. For our entrees, I had the scallops, shrimp, and broccoli with the squid ink pasta. My boyfriend had the monkfish with the squid ink pasta, which was soft and tasty. The special pasta was so unique! They served my dinner in the pan, which was such a special touch. We would absolutely go back again if we ever have the chance.

We picked the Daily Catch after seeing the long line outside the north end one the night before. After waiting a few minutes we were able to sit at the bar and were glad we did! Valentina and Alejandra took exceptional care of us and were a delight! We had a bottle of Ca dei Frati on their recommendation and loved it! The calamari and shrimp scampi had good flavor although the shrimp were over cooked. We shared the aglio olio with squid ink pasta and scallops. It was delicious and the scallops were like butter!! The pistachio martini was good but Valentina’s espresso martini with baileys was everything! We tried the tiramisu but would recommend just walking up for a cannoli instead.

I cannot overstate how much I enjoy dining at The Daily Catch. While the Brookline location is closest to me, and one I frequent often, I find myself equally—if not more—drawn to the charm of the waterfront establishment. The allure of the waterfront venue lies not only in its scenic ambiance but also in its expanded dessert offerings, which the Brookline branch, currently noted as temporarily closed, does not provide. One particular highlight is the affogato, featuring an exceptionally refined espresso that, on occasion, tempts me to visit for the affogato alone. The cannoli is equally memorable—neither cloyingly sweet nor disappointingly bland, but executed with a delicacy and balance that speak to true pastry craftsmanship. On this visit, I ordered my enduring favorite, the Lobster Fra Diavolo for one. It was prepared to such perfection that I finished it effortlessly. I requested an extra kick of spice, and the kitchen delivered with admirable precision, elevating an already outstanding dish. While many patrons seem to favor the Aglio Olio over the Fra Diavolo, I find the latter to be a more robust and gratifying choice. That said, the Aglio Olio was particularly well-executed on this occasion, showing a level of consistency and flavor that sometimes fluctuates between visits. An added and unexpected convenience is the relative ease of parking, which is no small luxury in this area. All in all, The Daily Catch continues to offer a consistently remarkable dining experience, one that effortlessly blends thoughtful preparation, refined flavors, and an atmosphere that invites both comfort and indulgence. Service was extremely slow this time though

Google
The Lobster Diablo pasta for two and the Alfredo Squid Ink pasta were both absolutely amazing. The Diablo had a nice spicy kick to it, but personally, I loved the Alfredo Squid Ink pasta the most — it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We had made a reservation, but the staff was a bit too strict about the time — they didn’t allow even a 1–2 minute delay, which felt a little rigid, especially since there were empty tables. That part was a bit disappointing. Still, the food made up for it, and we really enjoyed our meal overall.

Great food. Tried their Shrimp, scallops, and broccoli with linguine. A must to have. Today’s weather in Boston was extremely hot. This restaurant has no air conditioning. We were melting inside. Food is great, service is amazing, but needs air conditioning and proper ventilation.

Google
Like many other fans, I love Daily Catch—it never disappoints. Their unique dishes, creative presentation, and, of course, bold flavors always hit the mark. The world-famous Lobster Fra Diavolo is a standout—generous enough to share and packed with seafood. I’m not sure what they do to elevate a simple tomato sauce, but it’s incredibly flavorful. The Black Pasta Aglio Olio was a bit underwhelming—less squid than I expected based on photos—but still enjoyable. Our server was friendly and welcoming. I’d happily go back anytime.

Yelp
Decided to come to The Daily Catch as it was another one of Boston's lobster spots. Also came with a personal recommendation as it was our friend's favorite restaurant when she lived in Boston. Since all I cared about was lobster, my decision was very easy. Ordered a 2 person Lobster Fra Diavolo. This was great! Loaded with seafood and one whole lobster, plus a ton of linguine with a tasty tomato sauce. Absolutely hit the spot. Service was fine here, no complaints. Worth the visit for sure, would come back.

Yelp
Tried going to a restaurant across the street but the wait was an hour so we walked in here instead because there didn't seem to be a wait. It wasn't empty but we also were seated right away so it could have gone either way at that point. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. We ordered the grilled calamari since this place seemed popular for calamari, it did not disappoint. It was nice and tasty, not too chewy. Good portion for an app. Then individually we ordered the fish and chips and mussels marinara. The food was tasty and filling, not the absolute best we've ever eaten but it satisfied us and we were happy. It's definitely a bit on the pricier side for a casual meal. The total of those three dishes plus a gin and tonic came out to $98 before tip. But no regrets, it hit the spot.

Yelp
A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Daily Catch Boston! We celebrated our son's birthday at Daily Catch Boston last month and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We are from out of town visiting him as he goes to school in the city. The ambience was cozy and nice atmosphere. Our server Omar was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations that pleased everyone at the table. Every dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and full of rich, authentic flavors. The black pasta aglio olio, a Daily Catch signature, was a standout, and the calamari was among the best we've ever had. To top it all off, they surprised our son with a birthday dessert, complete with a candle and a cheer from the staff. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made him feel celebrated. Daily Catch Boston gave us a night to remember, filled with laughter, amazing food, and heartfelt hospitality. We're so grateful for the experience and can't wait to return. Highly recommend for any special occasion--or just a fantastic meal out! Thank you to Omar & excellent staff. We will surely visit the other daily catch location at north end as well.

Yelp
Had a good experience here recently. Really good seafood and some great service. A little pricey, but would definitely return.

Yelp
I really love this location because of the open patio. Their oysters and pasta dishes are always amazing. I always get the Aglio Olio and the Mussels Marinara. The staff are always friendly and the service is fast. Can't wait to try more of their pasta dishes.

Yelp
I usually don't enjoy seafood restaurants this much, but this place wowed me!! We came here with a last minute reservation and were seated very easily. The restaurant was bustling during lunchtime and the bar was full as well. Our server was quick to take orders and food came in a timely manner. First off, the clam chowder was very possibly the best one I've had in Boston! I really enjoyed how fresh and light it tasted, along with the two puffs it came with. The calamari was also delicious, nothing too special, just very well fried! The two pastas we tried were amazing and each delicious in their own way. My favorite one would have to the the squid ink one, it was creamy, salty, basically just the right amount of everything. Overall, we loved our lunch here and will be craving their clam chowder all the time! I highly recommend you drop in if you're hanging out by the waterfront!

Yelp
A friend recommended this place, so I was kind of excited when coming here, but the food and service is just really disappointing. The octopus is very bland. On the other hand, risotto and the fish are extremely salty. I don't know how can they be too salty like that. The only good part of the risotto is the lemon pieces. And the server told me the chef said sorry, lol that's it. With the price they charged me and the fact that I couldn't finish these food (I tried to as much as I could bc I didn't want to waste money cuz of how expensive they are) and they didn't do anything besides "the chef said sorry," I would never come back here.

Yelp
My friends and I came to The Daily Catch today as walk-ins without a reservation. We were seated outside within 5 minutes as there was no available indoor seating. The outdoor space was very cozy with some heating provided. We were immediately greeted by our server and were given time to peruse the menu. My friends and I decided to get a round of mocktails and a beer to pair with our entrees. I ordered the black pasta Alfredo with added scallops. The added scallops were a little pricey as the restaurant gave me 4 small pieces for an extra $10. However, the pasta itself was so delicious and well made! The cream sauce was a little heavy with the pasta, but overall delicious. Highly recommend for a night out with your friends!

Yelp
Ordered and ate loads here! The pistachio martini was my fave. Never really had anything like it elsewhere. The food was nice and solid, lots of garlic - in a good way. Seafood tasted fresh. Service was great, the staff were friendly. We ordered a dessert and they put a candle in it as I had given them a heads up that it was my friend's birthday.

Yelp
Daily Catch is always a must-go restaurant when I have friends and family in town. Love that this location accepts reservations! Come here if you are looking for great food with pretty decent portions.

Yelp
Awesome! Last meal in Boston before headed home and this was a winner. We ordered the Oglio Aglio and Fra diavolo. For me, the squid ink pasta was the winner but they were both great. Fra Diavolo could be spicer, but I get not everybody loves that. Pro tip: waterfront location take resy's and it's as amazing. The Fra Diavolo for 1 is enough for 2.

Yelp
The food was great and there was no wait! Beautiful covered patio and friendly staff.

Yelp
We came to celebrate a friend's birthday pre-ragnar race as a group of 7 and the pastas and seafood were fresh and tasty. We ordered all theee types of the squid inj pasta, seafood platters and lobsters. The food was satisfying and just what I expect from Boston

Yelp
A great atmosphere coupled with fantastic seafood is what makes this roomier version of their North End spot so wonderful. We came here on a whim for a date night and sat at the bar! Our service was spectacular, very informative, and attentive. We got oysters, a few drinks, squid ink pasta, and swordfish and loved all of it. Their food is certainly rich, but it's well cooked and lets the seafood speak for itself in flavor. Overall - we'll be back here again ! Loved it!

Yelp
Dinner for my work crew while up in Boston. It was busy but the four of us got seats at the bar and were well taken care of by the bartenders. Great craft draft selection, outstanding menu and specials. I had the Monkfish Marsala over siding pasta. It was absolutely outstanding. Others in my group had the mussels marinara and fish and chips. A few appetizers of shrimp scampi and crab cakes. Everyone loved their meals. By the time we left around 7:30 it was packed. Great food, good atmosphere and great service. All the boxes checked.

Yelp
We have very mixed feelings after our visit - We really wanted to love dining here, based on the amazing menu, pics we saw online from those who dined here before, and it's a combo of fresh seafood and Italian - But unfortunately, our visit wasn't that great. First, we got there, sat down and wanted to order wine to enjoy while reviewing the menu, but we waited 10 mins with no one to check in/great us, so when I saw a manager nearby I asked him for some assistance and then our server appeared a minute later. He was very friendly, not sure what happened in the beginning, but we overlooked that as we proceeded with dinner. We started with their shrimp scampi and wow, that was the blandest shrimp scampi we've ever had! We had to add salt to get some sot of flavor from it, but it hardly had the flavors that make it a loveable dish - such as garlic and lemon... We didn't taste these at all and for the price, it wasn't very appetizing looking and flavorless - Definitely wouldn't recommend. The entrées we ordered were their swordfish for her and I got their linguine with scallops, shrimp, and broccoli. My linguine dish was very bland as well... not sure what was going on here, but no garlic, no seasonings at all, and I asked for their diavolo sauce and what I got had no heat either. Wife's sowrfish was totally raw inside. We showed this to the server and he told us it looked like that because this is the season where they get "orange swordfish" but what we were showing was a very obviously piece of raw fish. He took it back and brought it back to us about 15 mins later cooked to a greater temperature. He agreed that once he got it in the kitchen, he noticed it was raw. But you NEVER HEAT AND RESERVE a food item touched by the customer - that's gross. As a result, she barely picked at it and it was simply wasted. Poor service! When someone sends back raw food which they've already cut into, time to toss it and serve a new one - especially when it's the kitchen's fault. Talk about cross contamination. Anyway - we had a very lackluster visit, which was sad, as we expected to much more from this visit. We love Boston and will be back to visit one of the amazingly incredible restaurants that are there, but this won't be on our list.

Yelp
The Daily Catch is a Boston institution, and this Waterfront location is a great way to experience their famous cuisine without waiting in long lines! They take reservations here, and they have nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Whenever I have friends visiting Boston, I recommend the Daily Catch to them. It's a uniquely Boston experience, with food that you really can't find at any other restaurant. I always go for one of their pastas served in the frying pan. Typically I'll opt for their signature dish, the black pasta aglio olio. It's got ground calamari and has been called the "white bolognese." You really can't find it anywhere else. Don't miss their littlenecks Siciliano to start, served up in a flavorful fennel and white wine broth. Perfect for sopping up with some of their fresh Italian bread! Whether you're visiting Boston or live down the street, I can't recommend The Daily Catch enough!

Yelp
This location is right by the harbor with both indoor and outdoor seating. They take reservations have more seating than the Hanover street location. We tried the raw bar sampler and the oysters and little necks were great. Their black pasta is a must try. The fried seafood was good but not that special

Yelp
If you love seafood this is a must. I was equally impressed by every dish we tried. The restaurant is intimate with low lighting a very nice vibe for date night. Our waiter was amazing! He gave us food recommendations and was so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back! The aglio e olio pasta is as great as everyone says! The baked halibut is also chefs kiss.

Yelp
i feel qualified as a MA native to speak on seafood. this is the deal with the daily catch: the prices are high but the portions are decently big. a little shocked that they didn't offer bread or anything to snack on since it seems like it would be the type of joint. meatball was OK, have had better elsewhere. calamari was good enough. pasta was the best of the meal. it isn't wow-worthy but it's pretty good, but kind of dime-a-dozen vibe here in MA- best to bring your older family members that are visiting boston or those that want a legal seafood experience without the frills that come with a chain.

Yelp
Save yourself from disappointment and walk 0.2 miles to the North End location. Although this location is far more spacious with an outdoor patio area, I think the food is better at the original North End location. I got my favorite dish which was the Aglio Olio. They didn't offer half sizes like they do at the North End location so I got the full size ($29.50). It came out quickly, but it was underwhelming. The pasta was cooked well, but the calamari was under-cooked and not crispy. Most importantly, the overall dish didn't have the strong garlicky flavors that I'd obsess over every time I'd have this dish. I'd definitely go back to the original location next time. It's small but I'd choose better food over ambiance any day.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite meals ever! Visiting from Philly to Boston, so I spent a lot of time researching where to go before I landed on The Daily Catch. Reservations needed and they had outside and inside seating. We sat inside and it was the perfect vibe for a birthday dinner. Our server PJ was great! He had lots of recommendations and was patient if we had any questions even though the restaurant was super busy. The oysters were my favorite appetizer, the calamari meatballs were a little different but the sauce that came with it was the best thing ever for dipping your bread in. Would recommend visiting the waterfront location!!

Yelp
Delicious seafood experience! We were able to reserve a table for lunch. We are big seafood lovers, so this place was perfect. My wife and I loved the calamari, very crispy and perfectly seasoned! The clams and lobster was delicous! All the seafood was fresh, I would love to come back again once I'm in Boston!

Yelp
Came here with a group of 5 with a reservation at opening. It took another 25min to get seated. Upon being seated, waiter was hard to flag down and get us waters. The food is phenomenal, but sadly the service is very slow. I will say, I was very happy with all the food I had. It tasted delicious and probably some of the best seafood pasta I've had! My complements to the chef! Service could use help.
google avatar

Yelp
Not to be confused with the daily catch on Hanover. This place is a gem. The two lady bartenders gave us some history on the establishment as well as the family. They were the awesome Has the pistachio martini (minus the gelato because I didn't want it to be too rich) food was fresh and had more of a modern flair than other places in the north end. Please get the tomato salad. You will not be disappointed. Sad I didn't find this place sooner. Also had the halibut. Very mild and delicious.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday early evening. We got reservations and the place wasn't completely full yet. Like another reviewer had mentioned, we waited at least 10 minutes to be greeted by a server after being seated. It was strange because it was obvious that we and at least another table had been waiting for awhile. The manager was there, but he was chatting with someone (instead of making sure patrons are taken care of??). Once the server finally came, things were relatively smooth and quick. We got the raw bar sampler, the lobster fra divalo pasta, and fish/chips. We all thought the food was just okay, nothing stunning. The taste of the seafood wasn't as fresh as other similarly priced seafood restaurants. However, what was very concerning was the freshness of the seafood. I got terrible food poisoning, probably from the raw sampler. Now it had been consistently freezing for a couple months (mid-february at the time), so I thought it was probably the safest time of the year to eat. Boy was I wrong! So I wonder about the safety practices (temperature wise or selling seafood that might be past peak freshness) and the sourcing of the seafood. Come to think of it, the waiter never mentioned where the seafood were sourced from, which is common practice in seafood restaurants. I don't recall anything about the seafood sources on the menu either. So my general impressions are that the sourcing of the seafood might not be as quality, local, or fresh as they appear (contrary to the name) and the overall service was nearly insulting. Weird vibes here all around. Would not come here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely the best meal we had in Boston! The service was exceptional, and the food was even better! The Aglio Olio black pasta was one of the best meals I've ever had. They also have a beautiful patio where I definitely recommend sitting if weather permits!

Yelp
Pretty delicious pasta with seafood. Happy they let you craft your type of pasta a bit. Drinks were solid. Service was pretty decent. Ambiance was lively but a bit cramped. You do leave smelling like food a bit though too.

Yelp
Wanted some seafood but it was a Saturday around 6:30. We did not have a reservation anywhere and it was busy everywhere down by the water. We tried one other restaurant but it was a 2 hour wait. No way. We came upon this lovely place and the hostess sat us right away. It was busy but there was a table outside. The patio area was really pretty tho it could use some fans as there was no breeze and it was pretty warm. Other than that, it was nice. Our server was great though we had to ask him for water refills more than once. We ordered shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and frutti di mare. The shrimp cocktail had huge shrimp and very fresh. The Caesar salad was a good size and they ask if you want anchovies added. For the frutti di mare, I chose the white sauce and it was nice and garlicky. It also had air of seafood. I hate when I get this dish and they skimp on the seafood but this restaurant did not do that. I would certainly say you should try this palace as the food was good.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
We were hunting for a nice spot on the harbor to eat but they all had extremely long wait times. But lucky for us because we got to have lunch at The Daily Catch. It is right across from the water and had better food than I have had at other spots nearby. We got the clam chowder to share. We were fighting over the black pepper biscuits in the chowder. I wish we had asked for an extra. I ordered the seafood sampler and it was an extraordinary value for the quality and variety. My mom ordered the clam pasta and she said it was the best she's had in years. There was no left over for me to try but I'll take her word for it. My dad ordered a salad that I can remember the name of but it was bright and fresh. Omar served us at the bar. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. We felt welcomed and cared for. Great spot and the quality of food is pretty unparalleled even with all of the options in Boston.

Yelp
I've been a loyal customer for the restaurant for awhile before they relocated to waterfront in North End and one in Brookline. My last visit was probably 2016ish, around my college years. I still remember my friends and I had to wait in a line for at least 30 minutes (usually an hour), since they only had three small tables in the business. However, the experience was very different with the current setup where they have fairly large venue for eating in! Also, they are not anymore cash-only which helps with getting rid of need to carry the cash. My gf and her family decided to do family style dinner and we ordered bunch (black alfredo pasta, shrimp, scallops and broccoli pasta, pear/beet salad, clam chowder, masala, calamari and few drinks including white sangrias and aeropla cocktail) Thankfully, it just tasted like what I had a decade ago. The pasta was perfectly cooked and delicious, when the seafood tasted so fresh and great. My gf's mom said she had the best clam chowder ever and scallops in her past melted in her mouth. I wanted to subtract a star since it is way too expensive ($40 for a pasta and this would be even in high term and it's not even located in North End) but the taste of their dishes transcend all the price concerns for me. I will surely revisit next time!

Yelp
Hat's off the the waterfront version of this iconic Hanover street Boston restaurant. We ordered the Calamari, the squid pasta, the halibut and the monkfish. All of these iconic dishes were FANTASTIC!! This place doesn't quite have the same Hanover vibe that that it's sister does but it's hard to replicate that. What is does have is INCREDIBLE SERVICE, FOOD AND DRINK!! Our server, recommended that we hit Modern, not MIKES and that was a key local call!!!! Loveit!!

Yelp
Excellent food as usual at daily catch. First time at this location and service and food has been Excellent! Our server was Tim and he is very profesional and knowledgeable. Also we were outdoors and it's really nice. Yummy.

Yelp
This location is bigger and less busy than the one other one, it's still not going to be easy to get a reservation. The ambiance is pretty nice, great for a small group of friends. We ordered the black pasta, seafood mix, clams and grilled oysters. The black pasta was really good, lots of garlic and butter. The seafood mix came in a frying pan, plenty of pasta topped with fresh seafood and seasoning. While expensive, it was good for 2 people. The clams were good, mostly au jus with parsley, and topped with crunchy toasts.

Yelp
On an earlier trip, we had tried to eat lunch at the Daily Catch in the North End, but the line was long and the place was tiny. So, we were happy to stumble on this Daily Catch with its ample seating and large outdoor patio. We sat on the patio which was in the back and away from the street noise. Our server Tim was very helpful and even gave us a recommendation for lunch the next day. I had the tuna and my husband had the sword fish and they were both excellent. We finished with the salted caramel gelato which was fantastic!

Yelp
The daily catch was recommended to me by some food bloggers I follow.. yup we are in that day and age now. I was happy to try this place because I love both seafood and pasta .. and that is what the daily catch is all about. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. Luckily we had a reservation for indoors as it was unusually hot outside. A reservation is definitely recommended as the place is small and fills up quickly. I ordered the squid ink pasta with crushed calamari, I believe it is called the oglio pasta. It was rich, garlic heavy, and served on a hot skillet. Yum! I wish there were bigger pieces of calamari but the small crushed pieces did ensure some calamari in every bite. We were served bread with our entrees rather than as a pre dinner snack. The bread was forgettable.. but it served its purpose for dipping. The restaurant was pretty warm inside. I wish it had been air conditioned but I think they just had fans. There were times when it was uncomfortably warm.

Yelp
Squid Ink Pasta 5/5 Tuna Tartare 4.5/5 Seafood Linguini 4/5 Monkfish 3.5/5 Calamari 3/5 Came here with my family in the spring and had a lovely dinner! We had made a reservation ahead of time and arrived a little early. The server had no issue with getting a table ready for us even thought we were ~15 min ahead of our reservation. Our server gave us some great suggestions for appetizers and our food came out in a timely manner. The Tuna Tartare is a must try! I also LOVED the squid ink pasta. The interior of the restaurant is a nice setting for a meal with family. Tables can be a little close to one another, but the space has a nice feel to it. There's no parking lot, but it is possible to find parking on a side street if it isn't peak busy hours.

Yelp
We were in Boston for a long g weekend and were invited to dinner at this restaurant by an extended family member who has lived in Boston for many years and who has eaten here many times. We had a party of ten in total, and everyone had an enjoyable time. I started my meal with a white sangria and it was delicious and refreshing. Others in my party had both red and white wines. For appetizers, we had the calamari, oysters, and Caesar salad. Our entrees included the seafood linguine with clams and calamari, the scallops, the squid ink pasta, the linguini with shrimp in red sauce, the swordfish, and the clams. The pasta dishes are delicious and plentiful and are served in a pan. Everyone was too full for dessert this time, but maybe next time. Service was great.

Yelp
Daily Catch - aka "seafood heaven" in the North End. Unfortunately, it's notorious for the longest lines, no reservations, and "cash only" policy lol. Mom and I were strategic and went in closer to 3pm and it worked! Zero lines and we were seated right away. The restaurant was surprisingly small for how popular it was. We ordered the two most popular menu options - squid ink Aglio Olio ($19) and the Lobster Fra Diavolo ($95). Even with the half order, they give you enough food for 3-4 people which is crazy! I was only able to finish the aglio olio and the seafood from the lobster fra diavolo which had plenty of seafood including whole lobsters (challenging to eat) cooked with a spicy garlicky tomato sauce that was really just perfect. Usually, my dad is the one to deshell the lobster, so it was rly difficult for my mom & me to eat this time. If you are looking forward to warm, fresh starter bread, don't. But do come for fresh seafood and amazing pasta sauce. Even the aglio olio was a pleasant surprise with a wonderful "calamari pesto"~~is what I'd call it. Daily Catch is a place I'd come back with lots of people, or else you could end up with plenty of leftovers to last you days. (Friendly reminder: if you are in the North End - bring cash! There's a Chase atm nearby lol)

Yelp
The black pasta is their signature and is always satisfying and tasty. My guests and I enjoy the food a lot. The service is also attentive. Will return.

Yelp
Our table ordered the Monkfish Marsala, Swordfish with a Caesar salad, and black squid ink pasta. All were delicious! The servers were personable and efficient. The overall ambience was perfect for our small group of visitors. We barely noticed the manager wandering around, paying attention to every detail. Lovely experience! One of our diners insisted that I mention that the meals didn't all arrive at once, and we had to ask for an extra plate with our shared meal.

Yelp
Food was decent, not as good as I would expect for the price. Took a VERY LONG time for the food to arrive (1.25+ hours). Server was nice but only came by infrequently and forgot to help with an item we asked for (extra napkin because a bird pooped on ours).

Yelp
One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. I am glad that they take reservation at the waterfront location. It is a simple clean restaurant with a rustic feel. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Their fried calamari was the best I have ever had. They fried it to perfection with a slight crispy texture and a sweet n flavor inside. It was mouth watering with each bite. The pasta dishes were all delicious. I know they are famous for their Lobster Fra Diavolo and I totally understand why. But my favorite was their squid ink pasta with clam sauces. Gosh! It was so good and the sauce was creamy with a touch of fresh seafood taste. Hats off to the chefs there. Of course our server was attentive and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better waiter. Overall I love everything about this place. I am sure it is a heaven for pasta lover. 10 out of 10.

Yelp
The waterfront view is about a block away, but I'm sure it's still prime real estate here. We were lucky to get seated right away for an early dinner. The 4 of us shared : Calamari Octopus Squid Ink Pasta Aglio Olio Shrimp Scampi And the Lobster Fra Diavolo for 2 with added shrimps - This is quite spicy and on fire! Diavolo is not fooling around! Our waitress was super nice enough to make a side of spaghetti with just tomato sauce because I'm such a wimp! Thank you so much for accommodating. Everything was delicious and will definitely be recommended for anyone visiting Little Italy in Boston. A great start to our weekend trip in Boston.

Yelp
Visiting from Nevada. My husband grew up as a local here and strongly suggested this place. We enjoyed this local spot, however I wasn't a fan of what I ordered. I'll give another try and update my review on our next trip.

Yelp
High expectations were not met. We have wanted to try Daily Catch waterfront for a while now. My girlfriend was out of town on business and I booked her return dinner at the Daily Catch while she was away. I booked on Open table and when I booked there were many other options. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation on a beautiful Sunday night. I thought I booked an outside table, but they had me as an inside table. The hostess was excellent and told us an outside table would be available in about ten minutes. We got seated in a very nice outdoor setting. It took awhile for our server to come to our table. Here was the main issue, the service was below standard. Many times we had to wave our server down. Whenever anyone brought a new drink or plate, they wouldn't take used plates, glasses. The food was average and did not meet expectations. With some many other options near by, we most likely won't be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
I liked this place! They have a variety of different cocktails. I had a ghost pepper one that was basically all ice and I had a sangria which I enjoyed. We shared the steamers for an appetizer, very tasty. I had the halibut which had a flaky crust and came with vegetables and potatoes. It was very delicious.

Yelp
This is a really great seafood place in the north end. My boyfriend and I finally made it over to try the Daily catch and it was delicious. We sat at the bar and had great service. First we got the local oysters, they were really good and I would highly recommend them for an appetizer. Then I'm we got the swordfish entree. It was really flavorful and something I would definitely come back for again just for this. And we also got the black pasta and it was good but a little oilier than I prefer. But my boyfriend loved it.

Yelp
Checked out the Daily catch waterfront location after always seeing lines out the door of the north end location. Tons of seafood and pasta combinations on the menu. Not much other than seafood so if you're not a fan this might not be the place for you. I tried the calamari, oysters and black linguini with garlic scallops. Loved that they served the pasta in the cooking pan. The garlic butter had great flavor and scallops were cooked well. We had a big group of 10 and the service moved really quick for a group that size.
