The Daily Dose Cafe

We stopped in for lunch. Friends suggested it was good. We were surprised to find out that t is definitely a small place. Our only option was to sit outside. We waited for nearly 10 minutes beforw the server came out and told us she forgot about us. Secondly, it was a pretty windy day and all of the umbrellas were out and open- a huge wind gust came and blew over the umbrella right behind me, nearly hit us. Server took our order and came back out 10 minutes later only to tell us that what we ordered wasnt available. This was 3 strikes against this lil mom and pop place. We hope to visit on another day to sit inside. Service was just horrible.

It was extremely good. I had low expectations because I am not familiar with the area. Not many vegan options but still very delicious. I especially enjoy the American fries. I ordered the portobello mushroom cabiatta. I sat outside waiting for my food. It was very comfortable and great service!

We stopped in for coffee on the way to my son’s baseball game. Very busy cafe! It was a Saturday afternoon. Friendly staff and quick service. We only got drinks but they were great! Variety of coffee choices. Non-dairy option was Oatmilk. We would go back when in the area!

What a wonderful little breakfast nook!!! While the indoor seating is limited, the food, service, and atmosphere are well worth the wait!! The serving portions are only outmatched by the quality of the food on the menu!! And you absolutely can not beat the prices!!! And their made in the house, both hot and cold coffee's, put both Starbucks and Dunkin's to shame!!! The Daily Dose Cafe has won over my heart, my stomach, and my wallet!!! You're absolutely crazy if you don't go give them a try!!!

One of those hidden gems Kenosha has to offer. Come for the coffee stay for the delicious food and great staff. Highly recommend the Spicy Sweet Potato Wrap, I'm a meat eater but this was satisfying and delicious Seriously, the whole eat local can't be better represented than this great little place. The atmosphere is inviting al beit tiny but its worth squeezing in.

Oooooh so scrumptious! I had the herb and tomato frittata (added a side of avocado) and it was perfection! My partner had the Spanish panini and said it was delicious. We both had a little left over, so portion sizes were fairly big. The cappuccino was hot and creamy. Our food came quickly and we were regularly checked on by several servers. We felt the prices were reasonable, especially for such high quality food.

Little cafe on the corner, with unique character and charm! Bring your patience on busy days, the seating is pretty limited. Nice and simple menu, with very fair prices. Breakfast was cooked perfect, and overall taste was good. Something was missing for the “wow” factor. Milwaukee based coffee was a nice touch! Entry is ADA friendly but the overall sizing and spacing inside, makes for a huge challenge if you’re using a wheelchair or other item. Overall as nice locally owned place with friendly staff, and good food. Will come again!

On this Thank You Thursday I would like to thank those cafe for being the coolest with good varieties and specialties of breakfast and lunch! The servers are friendly fun and reliable The diner is small but you can eat at the counter. Outside patio is great in nice weather and there is always take out! I love the coffees I wish I could get there more often but when school is in session (teacher) I can't get there . Closed on Sundays I'll get then soon on a break or a day off Kudos

Small diner with a bustling atmosphere, friendly staff, and exceptional food is how I would describe Daily Dose Cafe. The owner, Jen, is wonderful to all of her customers and you can feel her passion and dedication to her restaurant and the food she serves. She is also invested in the Kenosha community, which I appreciate and admire about her! If you're new to the menu, I highly recommend some fan favorites: the awesome beef, biscuits and gravy, French toast panini, sweet potato hash, and any of their homemade soups and desserts!

Food is a 9/10, pretty decent serving size for the price. Ordered full plate biscuits and gravy and the house made quiche of the day with a salad, both were so delicious. The cafe is on the smaller side but such a cute and charming place. The service was a 10/10. It was my first time and everyone made me feel like I was a regular(being so friendly and letting me take my time as I was looking at the menu)

Finally stopped here on a Saturday morning and got the breakfast burrito to go with a coffee. The place was very full. What date made my order up quickly. The burrito was really not my thing. But I do want to go back and try some of the other breakfast items.

order for takeout they had a nice and friendly person at the front desk... biscuits and gravy were pretty good although the sausage in it is pretty tough and they don't offer a side of sausage on their menu either which is kind of weird for a breakfast place... disappointed in the menu, but not disappointed with my food!!

The food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is a bit small, however that didn't bother me. The service was great, everyone was super friendly. Do NOT miss out on the sweet potato hash with chorizo! It was incredible!!

My boyfriend got us breakfast today from the Daily Dose Cafe before he went into work today & omg I'm so happy this place is by us! All day breakfast Saturday's will DEFINITELY come in handy with us & everything is so cheap!! We ordered food for takeout but I would love to dine in one of these days. I got a bacon egg cheese panini ($6.95) & a half order of biscuits & gravy ($3.00). YUM!!!! Next time I'm going to try a breakfast burrito & their bisculicious plate probably this Saturday & im so excited haha. My boyfriend got the French toast panini ($9.95) & he said it was very very good, he also got the cinnamon roll ($2.95) for us to share & AHHHH this cinnamon roll is delicious!!!!!!!! I LOVE a good cinnamon roll. Everything I had from this place today is a 5/5 & the portions are HUGE I'm still working on everything. I'm beyond excited about this place I can see why they have such great reviews!!

Food is good,service was great and it's a nice little place to eat. My buddy turned me on to the place they have a great biscuit and gravy breakfast. Also the waitress asked me if I wanted normal or robust coffee which was awesome cause I usually don't have coffee at too many places cause it's weak. It's a little small and you might have to wait for a bit when they're busy but overall I have no complaints

If you want truly good food with personal service in a cozy atmosphere the The Daily Dose is the place for you. A small family rum Cafe that offers the best panini sandwichs you will ever find anywhere. All different types for breakfast and lunch. And then there are the soups. Every one is unbelievable fantastic. From the chicken noodle to the mushroom soups you will find none better. Be sure to try the Awesome Beef paying and the Awsome Beef soup. That is a paring that is, well Awsome. Since The Daily Dose is a small Cafe you will receive service the moment you walk in the door. If you are looking for great place for breakfast or lunch, this is the place.

Wow! What an adorable little spot! I had known about The Daily Dose Cafe for quite some time, but didn't realize what a gem it is. It's cute on the outside with whimsical yard decor and cozy on the inside. The tiny size make this place even more sweet. I only stopped in to grab a coffee to go but saw the delicious plates of food going to the tables and delivered to the vintage looking counter. I will definitely return for breakfast or lunch. The girl who assisted me with my coffee could not have been sweeter. She was super friendly and gracious. She offered two types of coffee, mild or bold. I chose the mild and it was fresh, hot and delicious. I left feeling welcome and appreciated. My only regret is that I haven't visited sooner!

I don't like breakfast. But this place made me love it. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. The biscuits were so soft and buttery in flavor. If you're like me and really not enjoy breakfast then the breakfast tacos are for you. So fresh and super flavorful. The place is quite small but huge on flavor and ambience. The ladies at the front were full of smiles and friendly service. Great for a brunch date; even better for quick pickup meal. 10/10

The food and service is excellent, I especially love the Awesome Beef sandwich! It is hard to get a table there at times, but the wait is worth it.

When I'm in the area for work I like stopping by for good coffee and the sausage egg biscuit with gravy is delicious.

When we moved to Kenosha in May 2020, my first agenda was to find a nice coffee shop nearby that I can grab on the way to work. None of that Starbucks or Dunkin garbage. Don't get me wrong, I love my holiday drinks, but their coffee really isn't that great. I came across Daily Dose and ordered an iced latte. Due to Covid, they were doing curbside pick ups at the time. I offered a tip with my order, gave my vehicle info, and my coffee was ready by the time I pulled up to the shop-- didn't even have to call. They use Colectivo coffee for their drinks and it's my absolute favorite. I was so excited to see they had Colectivo. Right then and there, I decided this was my go to coffee shop. I go here very regularly. I found out I had a dairy intolerance around July, and I was so happy to find out they offered Oat Milk, almond milk, or soy milk! The oat milk lattes are seriously so good!! I then started ordering breakfast with my coffee, and their food is amazing. The portions are large, and prices are reasonable! I highly recommend this shop for your daily coffee pick me up and quick breakfast/lunch to go!! The staff is so friendly. **another perk--you can put in an order for a bag of ground coffee from Colectivo, and pick it up every Tuesday. It doesn't get any better than that!

Delicious food. Healthy options, wide menu selection. The drinks are excellent. Staff is wonderful. Very small location and limited hours, but it's so worth it!

Super cute. 5 min wait on sat 930 am. Got busier after that. Nice breakfast burrito. Chorizo but not too greasy. Potato's in there too. No sides come with. Tasted with the tomatillo salsa. Ask, they have 4 different kinds. Panini with hame and bacon was good too. Bread is a little dry but then it's not greasy so that's good. Big sandwich and tasty. Very nice waitress. Lots of fancy coffee drinks. Would recommend.

Wow! Tiny place with huge flavor. Truly a small business but the food is spectacular. Definitely a hidden gem but be careful as this restaurant only seats about 30 people. The quality of the ingredients really shows from the Rishi tea to the Collectivo coffee to the fresh herbs to high quality cuts of meat in the sandwiches. Here were my thoughts on the different items I tried. American fries with onions: Crisp, sauteed nicely like premium hash browns but with a strong sweet grilled onion flavor infused into every bite. Italian Chick: Fresh ingredients sandwiched within deliciously crispy bread. The herbs really shone in this dish. Awesome beef: In this dish, I never had to ask myself "where's the beef?" as this came with a generous pile of beef that was juicy and flavorful. The mix of the onion, spices, and cheeses really helped to heighten the overall experience of the dish. Ham pear-fection: This was a delicious balance of sweet and salty. The pear matched perfectly with the ham which was tied together perfectly with the cheese and the dressing. Sweet potato chowder: Deliciously hearty and perfect pureed type of texture with great creaminess and a fresh sweet potato flavor. Simple but divine. Overall, excellent food and excellent flavor combinations but be careful about trying to get a spot as the restaurant itself is fairly small. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Kenosha. The owners definitely take pride in their food, service, and brand.

Truly this is one of those places that Kenosha will one day be known for. It's just like the lake, Frank's Diner and Kemper Center. It's quickly becoming a classic place to go too and tell people about. I always recommend it to all my out of state customers! That being said they are you will not regret your visit!

The place is known for the homemade made from scratch food. Food was excellent! Service was great. Seating is limited to maybe 7 booths. Christmas music was playing and they had special types of coffee type drinks happening. I had the western and fries and onions. Great!!!!

Wow!! This place is a hidden gem! Sophisticated, charming and the food is fantastic.. I had a veggie wrap and an almond latte, yumo!! Organic, homemade and delicious. The facility is a bit small but they have plans on moving the whole establishment in a few months to accommodate one and all. Can't wait, I'll be there every weekend- what a treat. Walking in on a Wednesday morning and the place is packed. Roughly a ten minute wait. Menu is enticing. I ordered a biscuit and gravy, I will say I have never had one better! I'm for real! So damn tasty! The French toast sandwich was soso. The edges were tough. The syrup made the sandwich a fork and knife meal. The hard/ stale bread honestly killed it for me. The ambiance is kinda cramped, but the wait staff makes up for it in spades. Really enjoyed and appreciated the service.

We visited Daily Dose while on vacation because of other Yelp reviews. Let me tell you they were right!! It exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazingly friendly. It seemed like they all really loved working there, and that added to the pleasant atmosphere. I had a half order of sausage gravy and biscuits, and a half of a French toast panini. It was one of those times when I couldn't decide which to have as my last bite. Oh so good! On top of all of that it was extremely affordable. Under eight dollars! If I lived in this area I would so be a regular!

I was told this is a Kenosha staple! Very limited seating but that's part of the charm. I had the Capponi Special Panini which was very good. I took half home and it reheated nicely. I wanted to order a pecan roll to go but unfortunately they were out. Staff was super nice!

Delightful experience. Safety precautions are taken (to the extent that can be reasonably expected). Food was scrumptious as always. My mom said that she couldn't remember a better meal. Tammy had her "rollerskates on" I.e. She was busier than a 1-legged man in a b*tt kicking contest. She rocked it! Couldn't be better!

Always, always delicious food and coffee!! Been going there for years and I've NEVER had a meal I didn't love. The honey hazelnut latte is my favorite. The staff is fun and the place is always buzzing with an energy that feeds your soul. You won't isappointed!!

Got carry out for lunch. My husband had the Awesome Beef Panini and I got the Healthy Herbi panini. Both sandwiches were soggy and fell apart when we were about to eat them. They were not grilled enough or it was the wrong bread. We only live about 8 minutes away. We also ordered 2 bowls of soup which my husband had to make another trip back to pick up. They were not with our order! The amount of soup looked more like a cup than a bowl in the Togo container. Maybe panini's should not be a thing there. Hate to be writing a bad review about this place. Definitely room for improvement.

So yummy! My fiance and I are huge fans of the food and the coffee. Only complaint is that sometimes the coffee isnt super consistent - but those working there are so nice and helpful that they always remake it!

Super cute restaurant. Not much seating but the wait was short. Food was delicious, fresh and quick. Staff was very friendly! They were out of some items, but we did go about an hour before closing. Highly recommended!

The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is based on seating availability. It's a sport cute cafe but it's tiny and there is no way to do any kind of social distancing inside. I sat outside which read also cute and they do curb side pickup now which is new. Tammy was my server and she was phenomenal! The food was good and the coffee hot!

Super fast, super friendly and super yummy! If you have never been here it's a must! Great selection of yummy coffee options. The breakfast is Yummooo!! French toast, Bisculicious plate, Hand chive, egg sandwich, frittata's just really all around great options! The menu is wonderful and priced just right! I wish they were open Sundays!!! It's a really small seating area but they are so quick that you're in and out in a jiffy! So don't be discouraged if you see a line outside to wait. Order a coffee or smoothie while you wait you won't regret it

What a great experience! The place is small with awesome service. Friendly servers that knew people by name. Emily was great! Since I wasn't too hungry she told me they do half sandwiches which as perfect. Although, once i started eating the chicken salad sandwich I felt like I wanted the other half because it was really good. Love that they use Torani Coffee syrup because the sugar free vanilla is SO good. I had an iced Anika latte and they use Colectivo coffee, so I was in good hands. My husband enjoyed the breakfast panini and constantly talks about it. We just moved to the area from Chicago so finding gems like this is so key for us. We can't wait to go back!
