Google
With less than 24 hours notice, the Sterling Heights location was able to provide 9 dozen AMAZING, custom decorated, donuts for my work event. They were kind, friendly, and got me in and out quickly. My order was ready and waiting for me when I arrived and the whole thing was seamless. Pro tip: If you're trying to order for a certain location that isn't open at the time, call another location. I needed mine from Sterling Heights, but Warren took the order for me. Great customer service!

Google
Trip down memory lane. I started going to the original daily dozen at 9 and Schoenherr in 1986. Gerts hospitality is alive and well thru, her children and grandchildren. This location is Bright Beautiful and clean and Brent is on duty providing fresh hot flavor for coffee and a huge selection of donuts. I have been on a Fritter kick lately and what a surprise to bite into this fresh soft fritter and find an Apple filled Center. Coffee excellent. Fair priced $2.50 20 ounce large. Plenty of parking Ez In. Ez out.

Google
You want some good old fashioned homemade donuts made right? Go to daily dozen, they are the best of the best!

Google
I'm very annoyed they are not open on Mondays. Cranky engineers need donuts to fight off the Monday blues! I'll just have to bring them to work on Fridays for now.

Google
such an amazingly sweet workplace!! this one beautifully kind woman gave me 3 donut holes, 1st because i was still young and the other 2 because she saw my excitement. thank you so much and God Bless you!! they always have the best donuts too,, refuse to go anywhere else besides here.

Google
Greasy and too much sugar. I use to buy these often. Now the quality has gone down and the price is up by more than 40%. I see so much oil in the cake style donuts and it affects the texture. Well I will be off to find another donut place with better quality and worth the price.....

Google
The best donuts I ever had. Extra filling. Always fresh. Can't get enough. There better than packis. Stopped going there always out of donuts at all hours I've gone there. They are closed more than they are open. I started going to zerellis on Garfield great pastries get a dozen donuts after 5:30 for price of 6

Google
These are, without a doubt, the best donuts I have ever had in my life. The problem is, I was only ever able to catch this store open during their advertised hours ONCE, and I always come extremely early. This place is almost never open and it's extremely infuriating. I once spent a whole weekend driving around this place and every single day it was closed. It's seriously a crying shame.

Yelp
We needed our donut fix and our normal place wasn't open. But Daily Dozen was and not too far. They have a good selection of calorie bombs, but get there early for the best selection. Friendly customer service and a no-frills interior. You can get anything from the standards to ones topped with fruity pebbles and other goodies. They are very tasty and a good size. Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood and looking to get some carbs in you!

Ashlyn K.

Yelp
This donut shop is very easy to find and very cute! My friend and I went in to pick up a dozen donuts toward closing time and there was still a nice selection! The lady who greeted and helped us was very friendly. The donuts are delicious and I definitely suggest stopping in!

Melissa M.

Yelp
Great donuts! Not cookie cutter franchise type. Independent donut shops rule, if you can find one

Paul Z.

Yelp
I've been going to the Sterling Heights location every week for almost a year. They have the best variety and tasting donuts anywhere in town. The staff is always friendly and they make you feel at home when you set down to have a coffee with your favorite donut.

Tehmina W.

Yelp
Any far the best traditional doughnuts made. When you want a good fritter , or glazed doughnut these are best! My boys love the fruity pebbles doughnut .

Rodger M.

Yelp
Skip Sunkin' Donuts and Tim Hurtin's and patronize a family owned and operated donut shop that's been around for 36 years - tried and true! These are the donuts I remember as a kid (I'm 52 now). The flavors and freshness invoke childhood memories of getting to pick out my favorite donut. The owner told me they make 50 varieties every day. Talk about that old commercial, "Time to make the donuts!" Wow! A unique gem you'll find in their rack is the custard-filled French Cruller. I have no idea how they do it, but they're amazing. From the jelly sticks, old-fashioned sour cream, to the plain dunker, you're gonna love this place.

Yelp
These are good doughnuts if I need to fix or bring some into work for my coworkers. They hit the spot. Are they high end artisanal doughnuts or the best I've ever had? No. They've been around a while and frankly, Donut Factory used to beat them out, but now they're closed. Such is life. Daily Dozen is now my go-to, and it's pretty alright. I can get my double-chocolate cake donut fix.... Provided they're open, and haven't sold out. They have weird hours and sell out fast, and I wish they would simply just make more instead of being mostly sold out on a Wednesday or Thursday at 10am? I can understand being sold out by 1-3pm but it is a disappointment and it leads me to believe there's a bunch of Sterling Heighters coming in droves greedily gobbling up everything early for their schools or businesses... The one thing that is a constant bummer for me is they discontinued the chocolate cream filled doughnut two years back. Funny enough, they brought it back for packi day- but that's it (ironically enough they were sold out of it!) But I've asked three different people why and they always say it's too hard to make or some other excuse. Why is it you made it for years before that, was a popular seller (it's delicious) yet now you're just too tired or lazy to please your customers? Come on. It's not that hard to blend chocolate into the white cream filling, especially if you were doing it before. And I haven't really found anyone else around metro Detroit who does a chocolate cream... so that's actually an incentive for you to make it. And I miss having my chocolate cream fix.

Yelp
Strolled in at 9 am on Saturday. I justified my visit to get donuts just for myself, because I just gave blood - and needed sugar to prevent myself from passing out (at least this is what I'm telling myself, and my nutritionist). I had heard rumors of a filled Crueller, which I felt I just needed to try. It's covered in chocolate, and filled with custard (I would prefer kreme filling instead). This donut was just OK, I definitely think it would be better with a kreme filling. But my eyes locked on the Samoa donut, covered with coconut, chocolate (and maybe caramel) - and I just had to try this one too. The Samoa was by far the better of the 2 donuts, and the donut I would get again - not the filled Crueller - unless they filled one w/ Kreme....hint,hint. There were some other odd ball flavors I haven't seen like a jelly stick, lemon stick, strawberry moonrock, and a dipper donut w/ a handle so you can dip it into your milk or coffee - nice. $1.25/donut is more expensive than I've seen, as is $12/dozen - and I don't even think that's a bakers dozen. Oh well, not bad if you only get donuts every 6 months or so for your work peeps. I overheard the server giving a donut hole to a mother who had a child in her arms, waiting to be served, saying "here, for the child. Children and dogs get free samples". I said I would have to bring my Flash up here, and the owner gave me one to take home to him. He enjoyed his as well. Well, now that my blood sugar is up, and the risk of fainting has passed, due to my 2 donuts, I will be sure to make it back there every now and then. Gotta try that strawberry moonrock!

Yelp
This bakery is underrated! I decided I wanted donuts today, but I am sick of chain donuts. I came in at 11:30 on a Sunday, a half hour before they close. They were almost sold out. I would say 25+ flavors were options earlier in the day. I'm sure coming earlier in the morning would give me super soft donuts. The flavor is so good for every one! The original glazed ring donut is super tall and puffy. We also had a cake with maple frosting and a cinnamon-like crumble, which had an ample amount of both. The blueberry glazed cake was rich in flavor. The frosting for his chocolate donut was extra for the kids, with only half covered in sprinkles for some moderation in mess. The woman working the counter was very nice, and sweet to my young son. She also had us try the buttermilk donut, where there were quite a few left compared to the couple of others - also underrated! I said no thank you, and she slipped one in to try. It's a buttermilk batter covered in glaze. Excellent! Not hard inside or outside, a perfect combination. I will have to get more of those. I will definitely be back to grab more! I had to stop for a photo for this review so some are halfway eaten/gone.

Yelp
These donuts are delicious and perfectly priced. They have a huge variety of flavors and the staff is so friendly. Perfect way to start the morning.

Rhonda R.

Yelp
The selection was phenomenal. It's cozy and the service was great! The variety of different donuts left me standing there a moment trying to decide... Lol

Suzzette M.

Yelp
Checked Facebook to see if they were open (COVID Reopening), normal hours posted, facebook post saying they were open. Got to this location only to be greeted by a handwritten sign saying this location was only open Thursdays and (I think) Sunday. :-/

Mike S.

Yelp
This is the best doughnut shop around. Well made doughnuts and a huge selection. I constantly have people at work request a dozen.

Michael T.

Yelp
This place is the best, we have been customers for years the owners are the kindest and very engaging. I would stop here everyday if I could, the donuts are the best hands down.

Michael D.

Yelp
First time coming into this donut shop and not the last. Greeted with a free donut for my son and happy faces. Clean and a good selection for a small donut shop. I picked up the strawberry sprinkle and nuts. Both very delicious! Great to see that companies still show their support for communities like this place. Thank you!

Martan A.

Yelp
This place has great donuts. I always had to go down to the Warren location at 9 mile but this is practically around the corner. Some of the people that I have seen working at the Warren store are serving up the donuts at this location. The staff is always friendly and engaging. The donuts are great too. One thing this location has that the Warren one does not is that it accepts credit cards!! If you haven't had the pleasure of stopping in then you should. Awesome donuts!

Adam B.

Yelp
Our favorite donut place! The sour cream donuts are the best I've ever had and they do cool variations of sour cream donuts like salted caramel, red velvet and birthday cake that are great as well. They also server Hyperion coffee which is great!

Sarah N.

Yelp
I'd love to give this place a good review but I can't say that they've given me a chance to. I got there at 8:40 in the morning, after I'm able to get the kids off to school and every donut in the place was gone except for fritters. I tried calling before I drove over 10 miles each way to get there but the phone goes right to voicemail so that's pointless as well. They're friendly enough, and were apologetic, but if you sell out so quickly then maybe you should start making more in the mornings.

Smiley V.

Yelp
This is truly a local donut shop gem! They offer 40+ different kinds of donuts, all made fresh daily. And it's amazingly priced (any donut, same price I believe)! The secret is to get there early. If you get there when they first open in the morning, your only dilemma is trying to choose from the 40 different donuts. I always get a box of six... which makes it that much more difficult to decide. If you get there mid afternoon, it might be a different story. You might have 10 different favors to choose from. And these flavors range anywhere from a basic glazed to a fancy Fruity Pebble or Samoa. So get there early!! My favorite is the apple crumb donut. The apple filling is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! It appears to be a family-run business. The owners are very friendly. And the locals that stop by seem to be regulars. The donut shop makes enough for a day's worth of sales, then closes when they sell out for the day. So don't be surprised if you stop by later in the day, and it's closed. I buy 2 dozen sometimes for my coworkers, and they're always a hit!!

Melanie M.

Yelp
Very fresh dough nuts. Excellent service. $7.00 for 6 doughnuts or $12 for 12. So many choices. If you like a particular donut, call ahead and they will hold them for you.

Linda B.

Yelp
Donuts here taste like they came from heaven. The quality is outstanding. This is a nice place to sit ,relax and chit chat with the owners or other customers. Very friendly. Coffee is very good and now have different flavors of cappuccino . I try to stop by every chance I can. Best donut shop in town.

Kim T.

Yelp
Love Daily Dozen doughnuts! Strawberry Moonrocks, Custard Filled Cruellers, Salted Caramel and more. Wish they would bring back the Toasted Coconut filled with Pineapple. I still dream about it. :-)

Amanda T.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but I don't. We came in at about noon, they had about a dozen donuts left. My favorite donut the chocolate topped cake donuts, they had 2 left!! My lucky day! I could only eat a half. It was way, way too greasy. Maybe I'll try one early morning and try the specialty ones they have but for now.. I'll hit my regular places.

Natalie J.

Yelp
Warning: you will not stop at eating just one Came here with my daughter this morning and the staff was so sweet!

Mike M.

Yelp
Staff was awesome with the kids. They offered donut holes as soon as the kids walked in...were extremely patient as my young ones tried to make decisions on all the different possibilities...4 year olds make slow decisions. The donuts were fresh and amazing....I can see why they sell out....A+.

Phillip F.

Yelp
Best place in the area for your morning doughnut run. Great variety, donuts are great, their coffee is great. Even better than those things is their customer service, they have the nicest staff, always a treat to talk to them

Adam C.

Yelp
Great doughnuts! Awesome customer service. I don't normally enjoy doughnuts but this place is very unique. Specialty doughnuts and great coffee...

Emily C.

Yelp
Wow! I have been going to the Warren location since I was a kid and have always loved these donuts but the Sterling Heights location still has the amazing donuts from my childhood, has the same friendly staff and is a great location! 10/10 would recommend!

Katie P.

Yelp
Not only are the donuts excellent, the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. There is a serious "mom and pop" feel when engaging with the staff. When I was there this morning, I realized I had left my wallet in the car. When I went out to my car and re-entered with my wallet, the employee said "You could've just paid us back next time!". What other store would offer that!? Then, when I ordered just one donut, the gentleman put two in the bag for me and charged me for one. Excellent donuts and even better customer service. Try the sour cream donut; it may sound plain, but it is anything but!

George O.

Yelp
Phenomenal doughnuts, glad they were able to open another location. Owner and employees are always friendly, good prices, and excellent quality. Their sour cream doughnut is one of the best treats I've eaten in my entire life. If you love doughnuts, this place is worth a try.

Lauren V.

Yelp
Seriously the nicest people and the BEST donuts! We drive out of the way to go here when there's plenty of donut places by our house.
