My softball team was sponsored by The Daily Pint this year. I may have been in there once time after it was The Falcon. The Falcon back in the day was a spot my family hung out at and I still have memories of playing pinball and spending endless hours playing that racing game. I use that as my base for this review:
My softball coach James Tiraboschi plays guitar and one Saturday night he played there so I came to show my support. It was very busy that night. The "U" shaped bar was packed and there were a lot of people at the side tables as well as the island where I was sitting with a teammate. Serviced seemed reasonable and had an enjoyable night.
Despite all the rainouts this year, after the games we did play we went to the pint for food and beverages. The bar on a Sunday afternoon is just my style if I had to go out to a bar. Just some random people out and about who stop for a beverage or some grub, plus us softball players. The first time I ordered food I ordered the pesto flatbread without the tomato. To my surprise I was not expecting it to be a pizza, I just wanted to eat something with pesto. Needless to say I ordered it after multiple weekends it is that good. I also created my own grilled cheese with pesto which was equally delicious, just do not order it on the sourdough bread as it is a thick slice, wheat goes well with it. Their French onion soup is good, they need to add something to give it that extra kick to make it great. Their chips go great with wraps and burgers if you are not feeling ether French / sweat potato fries with your meal.
The bartenders are friendly. They always have a smile on their face and do a good job keeping the bar top clean from dirty dishes and clutter. There is a good variety of background music when someone is not playing something through the machine. The patio is a nice touch to the bar, one asset I did not take advantage of this summer. Parking seems limited on a busy night as the side street has "Do not park" signs up now, any other time I imagine would be enough.
Most importantly what is nice about here is that it is right down the road from Life Care Center of Wilbraham so seeing my 101 year old great grandmother afterwards was the icing on the cake.
I hope this was enough of an insight and reason to check the place out. Well worth an afternoon bite to eat or an afternoon beverage after work. Everything is clean and inviting, I never took any pictures but go see for yourself.
