"Open seasonally from approximately early May to the end of September, this easygoing restaurant at McCuddy’s Marina in Northeast Portland floats right on the waters of the Columbia River. The sunny outdoor patio is the best place to snack on seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and other casual fare while boat-watching. The cocktails are also fun, especially the Shark Bite, which comes with a grenadine-filled toy shark to submerge in blue curacao a la Jaws." - Zoe Baillargeon

This place was amazing! We will definitely be back. We had the Brussels sprouts. They were the best we ever had. Very nice view of the lake. Afterward we walked over to check out the light house.

First, it’s only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and we went Labor Day weekend, so it was crazy crowded. We put our name In (over a 3 hour wait) and went to our Hotel to get ready. 2 hours in we got a text saying table was ready and we had to be there in 10 minutes or we lose our table. I get why they say that, but that’s a bit much. We did explain the situation and they did seat us. Anyway, the views were really nice. Not really in the water, but there were nice views. All the tables are outside. The food was really good. The appetizer -dirty south nachos, were really amazing. Main course was very good too. Pork, brisket, fish, were all good. Drinks were the only think we didn’t like. Their signature drinks were too sweet and very watered down (in our opinion). There was live music, but the band was just loud and not the best. Not the restaurants fault, but still took away a bit.

Just wow🙌🏾 Such a good vibe. Great BBQ and good music (live band). Also such an amazing and perfect location (beach/pier) The place was packed and we were still seated super fast (from 24 parties ahead of us to us being called to be seated was 20 minutes max.) My favorite was the pulled pork, the brisket and the Dirty South Nachos. The mac&cheese was a bit too runny for me but the flavor was great none the less 🙌🏾 We were seated perfectly on a deck overlooking the stage and seeing everyone have a good time definitely added to the atmosphere. The young man who was our waiter was super friendly and fast and attentive. Never felt left behind or overlooked service wise. Great experience overall. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

This is really an amazing place on the water and beach! A must see!! Lots of seating, and lots of sun! You are right on the beach and there’s a live band nearly every day. The food is really amazing and huge portions! I will say, plan on taking a little time to find parking, there is not a ton of parking around there, and you may have to walk a little bit, try to get there a little bit early and you’ll find a spot! There is a ton of great service staff, and they are all attentive and there to help! We will be back! If you’re looking to go see the sunset, the Pier/lighthouse is right next to you, you can walk out to the lighthouse as the sun sets!

Google
We went here while camping in the area after it was recommended by a family member! Wow! Felt like I was on a fancy beach vacation! Huge resturant and very fun atmosphere. Our food came out so quickly, only 5-10 minutes after we ordered! Our server was quick and efficient. There are big tables, small tables, picnic tables, single chairs, swings for seating. While we were there a live band was on stage playing, adding to the summer fun atmosphere. Food was excellent! Portions huge! Large menu, was hard to make a choice! Only thing we didn't love was the only option for parking was paid. 10$ an hour, and took 20 minutes to find an open spot!

Mark Olds

Google
Cool place right on the beach with live music! Very crowded when we went and we had to wait a while for a table, but it was fine as we got drinks and chilled on the beach listening to the band. Food was pretty decent and service was great! Very laid-back party feel vibes at this place.

Jon Lynch

Google
Super cool spot to grab a drink and food. Right off the beach overlooking the lighthouse. Very unique setup with a beach patio and live music. Great views, nice drink specials. Very friendly staff, and a delicious menu of barbecue.

Google
We had such a great time here! Our server Johnathan was so wonderful and accommodating. He was able to get us moved to a table out of the sun. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, my sister got the nachos, and my dad got the tuna bowl. Fpod came out fast and was fresh and delicious. My other siblings also enjoyed their food and drinks as well. Loved how close it was to the beach and would definitely come back again.

Perry B.

Yelp
I had never been here, then came here 3X in a two week period. Each time we visited, I had the beach tacos with brisket; each time, they were just as phenomenal as the first. The tacos come with a variety of meat choices or even brussel sprouts or street corn for vegetarians. All are generously packed in two flour tortillas with cool sour cream, beach slaw, pickled red onion, and some refreshing mango-pineapple salsa. My wife always gets the nachos (also with brisket) and even splitting them between 3 people, there was always still some left. They offer drinks, of course, but I don't partake. However; they have these non-alcoholic slushes, I really like the mango passionfruit flavor. Service was always quick and efficient. Food hit the table within 10 minutes each time It's an excellent venue, right on the beach with live music quite regularly. The Deck is definitely a fun place to hang out when in season!

Dave C.

Yelp
Food was decent, drinks were good, atmosphere was great. The biggest issue is parking. It is paid parking and you may have to walk a bit. They don't take reservations but you can get on the waitlist before heading over if needed. We did that to save some time. It gets very busy so expect a crowd. We grabbed drinks down below while waiting and the band was just starting. Thought our drinks were good. The pulled pork slider was decent, nothing special really about the food but good for what this place is. Service was fine and glad we tried it out.

Holly B.

Yelp
What a well oiled machine! I kind of assumed with it being so big that things might be slow, not Friendly staff. I was wrong!! We joined the waitlist while we were at the beach, so it was perfect. Our table was just about ready when we arrived. We got to sit right by the swings which was fun for our kiddo. The live music was great! We loved that we got to bring out our dog! It was his first restaurant outing and we know he is already wanting to go back!!! The food was spectacular and came out at lightning speed which was amazing. We got pulled pork burra bowl and it was delicious the different flavors in just one bowl was incredible and made it taste amazing. We also got the 1 meat 3 side dish and picked pulled pork and for the sides I got the creamy coleslaw was decent, grandma's Mac n cheese was okay it was a little to bland for us and the deck fries were really good and had amazing seasoning and the had a great soft to crunchy ratio. And for food the last one is we got the summer samplers dish which had mango pico de gallo and regular pico de gallo and guacamole and a tomato salsa and queso and they were all great the guacamole had a little bit of spice but only if you got a jalapeno in your dip but overall is was a delicious dish. The drinks were great my kiddo got an non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri and I got Prosecco and it was very refreshing and my husband got and aperol spritz and he said it was so so the reason being was that there was to much Prosecco and not enough aperol but in all the drinks were really good. I will %100 be back and will tell everyone what a great experience we had but overall I think this is a great spot to go in Muskegon totally recommend it!

Michelle P.

Yelp
Cool hangout spot! TONS of seating. Stunning views of the lake/beach. Live music. Lots of parking nearby. Food was great! Will absolutely be back. Order at the counter & go back & pick up. We did not have table service where we sat, but it was not an issue.

Rayce P.

Yelp
The Deck is a perfect slice of California beach vibes, right on the shore of Lake Michigan. The food and drinks are great, but we really enjoy the unique atmosphere. They regularly have live music, and we like swinging on the swing seats on the second level. It's downright beautiful on a summer night. Make sure to join the online waitlist though, or you might be waiting over an hour for a table.

Gigi P.

Yelp
This place has a fun, loud atmosphere. Service was quick, and food came out even quicker! The food was tasty overall, the cornbread was very sweet, it tasted like dessert (I'm not complaining!). All the sauces provided were tasty. I probably wouldn't order this again, however I'd come back and order something different!

Allison F.

Yelp
The Deck had to be inspired by the waterfront restaurants on the Florida beaches. The vibes and atmosphere are worth the trip alone, especially if you enjoy live music. The food was pretty good, well-portioned, and a bit pricey for my taste. But again, I felt like I was at a Florida waterfront restaurant. I recommend the brussel sprouts appetizer, which could be an entree for a vegetarian or brussel sprouts mega fan. If someone invites me to The Deck again, I'll say yes as long as we get to sit at one of the tables with swings.

Zackery F.

Yelp
The Deck is pretty good for what it is, a touristy place to eat directly on the beach. It's expensive for what you get (especially if you're not a local and have to pay for parking) and it's not the most incredible food around but it is pretty good. I've absolutely been to places like this before that had very "meh" food at a nice location but this isn't that. You'll get better for less at other spots in Muskegon but if you're looking to be on the beach, have live music, and enjoy solid summer vibes it's a good spot for that. Not a place to frequent but every once in a while it's a nice night. Best part about this place is how quickly they get your food out. You might have to wait 50 - 70 mins to get a table on the weekend but once you're seated it feels like your order comes out immediately.

Greg B.

Yelp
This place is a gold mine. If you haven't been here and experienced Muskegon's Beach you really need to get here. And this is the venue to take care of that. The people are nice they are well staffed and the menu is terrific. The atmosphere is fun and light and full of entertainment. Definitely packed on the weekends but during the week it's some place that you can sit and just watch the water and have a drink. Come check it out, calendar is in the pics.

Holly K.

Yelp
Great area to hang out on the beach so many different areas to sit. Drinks were not good but the BBQ food was good

Crystal P.

Yelp
This place actually popped up on facebook randomly and I was like hey we'll be by there in a few weeks! So I saved it and made sure we came here when on vacation and in this area. My fries were amazing and no idea what dipping sauces I had but they were amazing. I only wish I had been hungrier to try something more. Ambiance was great even though it was definitely colder then we'd all thought it'd be.

Ringgo A.

Yelp
First visit to The Deck on 06/25, and it was an awesome experience. Our servers took care of our large group with care and efficiency, and the food came out fast and everyone in our group liked their food a lot. I want to give a shout out to our server Chloe for the excellent service and hospitality she showed our table and the rest of our group. Great first experience of visiting The Deck, and just like the Terminator said , I'll be back.

Ron B.

Yelp
I had the pulled smoked chicken burrito bowl, I think plenty of food even for a hungry person. Enough food to share for two that are not overly hungry. Then you can pick out an appetizer. Service was very friendly and attentive, views are stupendous.

Kyle V.

Yelp
A cool spot with a great location. It's definitely more of a bar atmosphere than I expected but it was still fun for the whole family. Security everywhere, ID's being check at the door even at 5pm on a Tuesday. They have it down to a science on how to provide quick service. Drinks are all ordered at the bar and everyone is ID'd before you enter the property so it saves time in line. The food is ordered from a different window, or from your phone. The food is ready much faster than we expected but then you have to go pick it up from the takeout window, and everything is in togo packaging. The drinks were fine but overpriced as expected. The frozen drinks melted fast which seemed weird because I've had similar drinks in tropical areas and they stay frozen much longer The food was all decent. We shared a bunch of apps and a few people got full meals. The menu has a BBQ theme but there was a lot to choose from that wasn't pure BBQ. The live music was great and their schedule is posted all over the place and it's packed! Parking is pretty expensive and they had people walking around writing tickets constantly. It would be nice if they let you pay on a mobile app rather than wait in line at a kiosk. We had to pay $7 for an hour and a half. Overall, fun/unique spot. We will come back.

Nicole H.

Yelp
Such an amazing place! Our waitress Emma was so awesome for our party of 12!! The live band was so good, the food was great and the drinks were flowing! The food was very reasonably priced. It was cold but the heaters kept us warm! I cannot wait to come back when the weather is a touch nicer to throw some bags and enjoy the music longer!!

Zachary W.

Yelp
Wifey and I had an awesome outdoor dining & cocktails experience at The Deck! Highly recommend the pulled pork nachos. You can't go wrong on drinks. Bonus: they're served in fun, color-changing cups you can take home. Live music and ambiance are A+

Peter N.

Yelp
We went here while on vacation and we just loved the set up. I forgot my IPhone 13 mini in the car so I couldn't get a pic of the food we got, but we were pleased. We all got sandwiches with the sweet potato fries. I got the 50/50 (smoked pork and smoked brisket). Delicious. My friend Terry got the brisket sandwich. Busting. And lastly my cousin Jeremiah got the Nashville chicken sandwich, which was scrum scrum. Afterwords, we enjoyed live music on the beach. The service was great. My only regret is that I didn't try the Bloody Mary. I read on the menu that that thing has a smoked turkey leg on it! This place makes you feel like you're in Florida or something. Definitely worth checking out.

Megan H.

Yelp
The vibes here are where it's at! This is one of my favorite places to come during the summer to chill with friends and get some drinks. There are so many cool seating options including beach chairs down by the stage, regular picnic tables, picnic tables with swings and swings on the catwalks overlooking the courtyard below. The rest of the seating is reserved for those dining. There are also plenty of activities to do! They have giant jenga, foosball, corn hole, and a giant connect 4. They also have live music quite often. Their mixed drinks are always so good! And they come in washable cups you can take home or buckets depending on which size you get. They are a bit pricey for those, but they are worth it! They also have cans of beer and seltzers and those are very reasonably priced. Overall, I don't love the food. I think my favorite thing to eat, if I'm going to, are the sweet potato waffle fries. Everything else is just decent in my opinion. The staff is always great though! I've never had a bad experience with them. The only downside is parking and waiting. It might take awhile to find a parking spot, and if you're not from the city of Muskegon, you have to pay for parking. It isn't very expensive, and it's cheaper to pay for the parking than to pay the parking ticket you'll get for not doing it! The wait to get a table if you are dining can also get quite long. Even if you aren't eating, there are some nights it's so busy there are no chairs left. So bring a folding chair just to be safe!

Tricia B.

Yelp
View and ambiance is definitely a 5. Food wasn't very exciting. Ordered the Cobb salad with smoked pulled chicken. The lettuce was fresh, the chicken was ok. The sangria was too sweet for me. Loved the live music.

Emily J.

Yelp
The Deck was a bit of a drive from my area BUT..... it is worth every second of that drive! The whimsical beach restaurant aura was present throughout the whole place- from the upper deck, with tables overseeing the lake, but also the option of swings to sit on, to the venue area, with more swings, tables, sandy areas, cornhole, and of course, the stage, where we were fortunate enough to see Yonder Mountain String Band! If the venue isn't enough, they also have great options of drinks to sip on, from yummy frozen cocktails, to buckets of beer. And, there's food!!! With options ranging from Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and burro bowls (both pictured), to tacos, briskets, macs, etc, they surely have something for you tastebuds! We sat in the concert venue and ordered from our table, then went to the takeout window to pick it up. The food was good, but we were a little bummer their nashville hot wasn't crispy chicken! The flavor was still good though. Whether you're looking for a unique venue to see a concert, or just somewhere fun to catch a drink with some friends, make sure you add The Drck to your summer itinerary!

Matt S.

Yelp
You just can't beat this setting. The ambiance of a meal on the deck with Lake Michigan in the background can't be beat. There is an abundance of live music from real good bands. The food is good. 4 out 5 stars and is a good value. I prefer to do the meat plus 3 sides. The meal is huge for the price. For as many people as they funnel through this place, the service is quick, friendly and attentive. Note: we have twice joined the waitlist online. Make sure you are with 10-15 minutes of the restaurant before adding to the waitlist! We tried this and were shown a 25-35 minute wait until our table was ready. Within 8-10 min we got a text saying the table is ready and to get there within 10 min or we would be taken off the waitlist. This happened yesterday but they were able to put us back on at the top of the list with only a 5-10 minute wait.

Laura W.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to go on a summer day/night. The atmosphere is electric and always humming (even when it's cold out). Service is quick, and most meals are out within minutes of ordering. Food is typical of a bbq place, and generally good for what you pay. Overall, you go to The Deck for the atmosphere and people watching - and listening to a good band.

Carl S.

Yelp
Came up to Muskegon for Lumberjacks tryout/camp. After we needed some food and we also wanted some beach time. Saw they had some walleye and had to come try. The food did not disappoint. Our server, Kennedy, wad great. Fries were good, walleye was good fried and in the tacos, slaw was decent. Arnold Palmers hit the spot. And the beach is right there. Only thing we were missing were the dogs. They would have loved the beach.

Nicholas L.

Yelp
Had a really nice meal here. Service is fast and friendly, scenery couldn't be better right on the beach. Starte d with Chico's and queso and loved it. I had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife had brisket. Both were good. My complaints come in 1. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich isn't a Nashville hot chicken. It's just Buffalo. Not that hot, no sweetness at all. It was good, cooked well, but the flavors weren't what you expect when it's named Nashville. Wife brisket was awesome. Make sure you go to the host stand first. But that was frusterating. There's about 30 ways to enter and 2,000 signs that say see host first, but NO signs with arrows telling you where the host stand is! All in all a good experience and we'll be back.

Morgan B.

Yelp
This place is so cool and fun, even on a rainy day it was poppin inside. The food was great, and they have really great portions. We got Mexican Corn Elote Dip as an app, the 1/2 Rack of Ribs + 3 sides (Mac n cheese, BBQ kettle chips, and fries) and the Smokehouse Sampler + 3 sides (pit beans, Mac n cheese, and cornbread). Definitely would go back!! Only wish was for a draft beer selection :)

Tiernae S.

Yelp
The food was fantastic! Best smoked turkey breast I may have ever had. It was definitely crowded on a Friday night, clearly the place in town to be

Marianne G.

Yelp
This is quite an overrated place. The location can't be beat - it's Iiterally on the beach, steps away from Lake Mich. It is amazing that they have live music every single night (or close to it). It's large! There is a ton of seating, especially in the area of the music, just for people to chill and have drinks. What I really wasn't impressed with is the food and drink situation. I think they are just relying on the fact that they have so much draw with everything else, that they don't need to impress you. It was just alright. I ordered the nachos (with pulled pork added) and my friend ordered the fish tacos. They both looked really good when they arrived. It was just okay - edible for sure, but I have no desire to go back. When I ordered a tequila soda, he asked what tequila I wanted, but there was literally only two options - the Well or a classier one. Two options? I'm not sure if it's like that across the board or not. I'm just very underwhelmed. But I'll prob be back for some music!!

Al W.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service is always great. Love being right on the water. Listening to live music, or the waves is the perfect way to enjoy a meal or a few drinks! My family loves the chicken wings, smoked Turkey, or the nachos. The sweet potato fries are amazing (get the deck sauce!) we visit many times throughout the summer, and will continue! Always amazing.

Dan W.

Yelp
It's a tourist spot. Mediocre food and drinks in a great location on the beach. It's worth seeing on a hot summer day

Alexandria J.

Yelp
Chris was an excellent server and very attentive to our party! Atmosphere was really great even though there was just a storm. No indoor seating, no problem at all considering it's a beach restaurant. The food was fantastic, party of 6 got all different items and everything was delicious. The walleye and the turkey were our favorites. The deck sauce and the homemade kettle chips are a must. Drinks were 50/50. One margarita was all tequila (not complaining!) one was watered down but the frozen daiquiri was perfect.

Tara S.

Yelp
We stopped in drinks on a date night. We ordered a couple of apps and watched the sunset. Our service was good. The waitlist is long... get on it as soon as possible. There was live music and various bars. There was also a swing section which looked liked a lot fun. Had a great night and a decent margarita! Will definitely be back!

Katy C.

Yelp
I'd heard about this place for years and finally made it out to check out The Deck. It's located right on the beach at Pere Marquette park. Parking is $20 in the lot at the beach, but it's good for the whole day. I was really blown away by the amount of seating at The Deck. It's all outdoor but there are so many different options - a big covered deck, adirondack chairs on the beach by the stage, swings up on the elevated deck, private tables with their own swings, and more. The host stand is located right on the sidewalk out on the street side, so be sure to stop there to get a spot. Nate and I were asked if we had a preference on seating but I wasn't really sure what the options are - so be sure to ask if you have questions. We ended up on the covered deck area, which was perfect as they pipe the live band music through the speakers, so even though we couldn't see the band, we could still hear it. Plus it wasn't as loud as sitting closer, which was nice. Our server came by quickly and I ordered a liquorless frozen pina colada - they have a big selection of frozen drinks with or without alcohol, which I really appreciated. It didn't seem like they had any draft beer, but a decent selection of canned beer. I really liked the pina colada - it was pretty sweet but it hit the spot. The color-changing cup it came in was fun, too. For food, we decided to share the west coast salad and the smoked wings. The menu is pretty large and has a focus on BBQ. It's pretty similar to the menu and vibe of The Score in Grand Rapids. Our food came out super fast, like record-breaking fast. We were there right around the time they opened for the day. The salad was interesting and pretty tasty - the cucumbers were a little wilty and I would have loved some different greens instead of just iceberg lettuce, but I liked the dressing and the Brussels sprouts. The wings came out looking a little sad but I was pleasantly surprised. The rub was simple, but good - just salt, pepper, and maybe a little lemon pepper. The skin could have been a little more crispy, but the wings were a nice size and the ratio of flats to drums was 50/50 - perfection! Our server came by several times to check on us and we had a nice time just enjoying the last bits of summer. They have live music every day and I'm really hoping I can stop by again before they close for the season. The Deck is dog, kid, and large group friendly. They don't take reservations but if you show up right when they open, you're likely to get seated for a large group as long as everyone is present. Definitely worth the drive from Grand Rapids!

Damon C.

Yelp
Ambiance Fun Food Got the walleye - save your money, go to the store and pop some in the microwave. That's what it was like. Mac and cheese wasn't great. Slaw was dry If you're going for music, beer, and environment-- this is the place! If you're going for decent food, go to McDonalds.

James T.

Yelp
Great location on the beach and live music. The swings overhead were cool. Had the walleye and was amazing!

Sara P.

Yelp
This is a favorite summertime stop! We are always seated so quickly, have super fast service and the food is yummy!

Staci L.

Yelp
Even though the restaurant was so busy, the service was good and everything was delivered quickly. I've had really good meals but occasionally I've gotten something I didn't love. Overall we really enjoy this restaurant! The atmosphere is awesome!! My family loves it and it's been a highlight of our summer.

Matt M.

Yelp
Food is not good, which is fine except that the prices reflect otherwise... Ambiance / view / location = 5stars

Fireiceez I.

Yelp
The food was mid tier maybe a 3.8/10. The beverages are insufferable, downright a disgrace to FireIceez. One 13 oz "@FireIceez" was 18$ with a single shot of Patron and a 8.4oz redbull. 1800 is a need, Patron low on my list. The flavors they offer blow, very sour and unorthodox. -rep fail trend. The Iceez are barely frosty, the texture is an abomination it's basically sleet with a full bottle of cough syrup for flavoring. As for the atmosphere they bring live bands, unbiased toward this. Although something more classy like Violins would be a great addition to create harmony and comfort. The menus could use some magnets in the lamentation to prevent the spilling of drinks or flying menu eye injuries. The service was faster than Buffalo Wild Wings. The Menu needs a @Fireiceez "Spinach Salmon Salad with blueberry's and raspberry's." Ps don't you dare try calling your IceezFire, that's mine and I say your icee is not fire. Get it together. Ps Spinach BerryRaz Salmon Salad.

Kelly A.

Yelp
I can't say I have ever spent three hours at a restaurant but I did this one. Not because I had to wait to be seated but because we got there early and we were curious about the live entertainment that arrived shortly. Upper deck wraps around the building to the stage so encourage the host to take you there to eat. We had no clue and sat on the side next to the volleyball courts. Nice anywhere and not a bad seat in the house except maybe on one of those swings? I just think we would have enjoyed people watching while we ate where all the action seemed to be happening. The food was satisfactory. My husband enjoyed the brisket while I indulged in the Ahi Tuna Salad. I recommend steering clear of the lime cilantro rice though. My batch was under cooked and actually crunchy while my husband's was overcooked and gummy. Super Fast Service, I guess that's why it got to the table that way. Everything else was spot on and I'd order it again. Unique seaweed salad and sesame seed dressing were the redeemers for the rice misstep. Everyone must arrive for the band! Who knew. We circumvented the wait list by arriving so early. The place was packing them in when we left around 8. Parking is a breeze but there's a charge so locate a kiosk and get out a credit card because I saw a police person checking windshields while we were there. We sat in the provided chairs on the beach for most of the show. Sat next to a couple who live in the area and brought their own folding chairs! I recommend doing the same thing because theirs were backbreakers after a while. Overall, we had a great time and I think if we travel this way again we'll try the family style dinner in a sack and skip the upper deck all together. Oh and bring beach chairs. Fun!

Emilee L.

Yelp
Had lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Food was all good and Olivia gave great, super speedy service and was friendly with great recommendations! Atmosphere was as pleasant as the weather! Will definitely come back again.

Emily B.

Yelp
Very awesome atmosphere and great food! However, they produce so much waste:( Plastic everywhere! That's very diappointing and I wish they would make some effort to stop all the waste.

Zac S.

Yelp
The food was great. The atmosphere is very fun. It's a restaurant with a beach, live music, and swings... how can you go wrong. I had the pulled chicken and it was very good. The meat was tender. GET THE PINA COLADA FREEZE!

Sal I.

Yelp
This place is amazing! From the service to the atmosphere, you can't go wrong. I got the sampler which was a little of everything. Morgan was fantastic as well. She went above and beyond and recommended the entree for me. I'm glad she recommended this. The sides were Mac and cheese, corn and fries. I highly recommend getting it.

Landen Z.

Yelp
It was a very cool experience with live music and sunny environment with the lake right outside would do again on my way home

Becky H.

Yelp
Service was good, food came out fast and hot, and the ambiance was fantastic! Our only complaint was it was rainy so we couldn't enjoy all the outdoor features This was the last weekend they're open so they were out of a few things, but the food we got tasted good. The smoked meats were a favorite, we had the dirty south nachos (I don't eat pork) but wow were they good!! The sweet potato waffle fries and smoked pork was amazing topped with a sort of corn salsa and dipping sauce was honey mustard. Wouldn't have thought about having that combination of foods together but it worked out great!! The Paloma frozen drink was too good, I could have been sipping on those all day (but had to be responsible so I couldn't). Greta place for families, groups, we had no trouble getting in and getting a table for our party of 9. And the heaters made a cold rainy day seem hot!!! We will be back next summer when we can enjoy the outside!

Yelp
Came to Pere Marquette for the day and the deck was right by where we were. It's a pretty sweet set up & beach food has never been this good! They have a bar outside and then a good system set up for to-go orders. I had a Michigan Smoked Turkey Leg - it came with three sauces: deck sauce, BBQ sauce and ketchup. It was like being at Disney! Really nicely smoked, good seasoning and value.

Yelp
We loved this place! It wasn't crowded on a Sunday, live music, good drinks, beach, games, friendly staff. We came 30min on a recommendation from a local. A group of girls on a trip to the area, we are so glad we made the trip. This beach was really nice too, not crowded either. The deck was SO much fun!!

Yelp
The wait for a table was close to 2 hours but we didn't mind. Had drinks and listen to a live band...they were good!! Food and service was excellent. Price is reasonable for a amount of food your get. I had grandma's Mac n cheese topped with pulled pork!! Yummy.

Yelp
Great time! We had a group that enjoyed drinks, dinner, and an evening of music. Would recommend.
